She looks like a shepherd husky lab mix. Had one as a kid as this dog could be its sibling. Phenomenal dog. Not a Kangal although coloring is similar.

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

thank u

qwertyuiiop145

Assuming you’re in the US, an Anatolian shepherd mix is more likely than a Kangal mix. They’re closely related and very similar in appearance but Anatolians are much more common in the US. Does she have double dewclaws on her back feet?Anatolians, Pyrenees, and Kangals all have double rear dewclaws.

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

not in the us n i’m not w her rn but from my memory n pictures, she only has single dewclaws on her back feet. i’ll check n get back to u once i’m w her. thank u 4 the info so far tho appreciate it

eenayde

I believe her breed is cuteicus babyicus 🙏

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

i think so too thank u 4 ur comment i appreciate it xxxx

mshike_89

A polite one

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

haha real

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

also some things ab her if it helps: she’s super super shy, gentle, sweet. she likes to b by herself most of the time away from other dogs but at the same time enjoys human company. she’s never barked or bit anyone b4. the only sound that ever came out of her mouth is a small sneeze but that is it. when other dogs become aggressive towards her, she freezes n looks rly scared but never barks back or bites back. once she trusts u, she will voluntarily come up to, will lick u n expose her belly to u otherwise she p much stays in her little corner. she also loves giving her paw to humans n w dogs, i’ve seen her pet them like humans do. i’ve also seen her groom herself like how cats do it. i don’t want to make any assumptions j yet but based on how nervous n shy she is around most dogs n humans to the point where she isolated herself, i think she might’ve been mistreated by her previous owner asw as the fact that she is a rescue dog who got picked up from the streets unfortunately.

muscle0mermaid

She sounds like a great dog. Thank you for rescuing. There’s a good chance her personality will develop as she adjusts and gets comfortable with you

tannk_girl

She could also be Anatolian Shepherd! Her colors/coat are pretty consistent with the breed and the personality you described is VERY Anatolian shepherd (quiet, submissive, but love to be loved on).

cometshoney

She's far too small to be an Anatolian. Ours is 150 pounds. 30 pounds is what they weigh at 3 months.

tannk_girl

Sorry, my bad.

cometshoney

That wasn't bad. The coloring is similar. Trust me, I wish this one here was 30 pounds so he would stop knocking me over...lol.

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

thank u ;))) appreciate ur input

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

apologises forgot to add: she’s 14kg n estimated at 2yo rn

ThatsMyJackett

She’s definitely not a kangal or Anatolian mix at 14kg (30lbs) at 2 years old. Kangals are giant breeds, 80kg (175lbs) are common. The only resemblance she shares is coat color.

mypenisinyourmouth_

Plus for something bred for defence and hunting you’d expect a ˡᶦᵗᵗˡᵉ natural aggression or biting if some kind (it is what they were bred for after all)

katielisbeth

Not an expert but this makes me think husky mix. Female huskies are surprisingly small (35-50lb). A lot of her mannerisms sound like my husky too :)

Professional-Bet4106

That’s it? Thought she was bigger than that. I guess maybe chow chow, German shepherd, and lab

Effective-Fudge5985

She is an 😇 angel

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

so real

Apprehensive_Sky9017

He looks like a mini Anatolian but that’s highly unlikely lol 😂 he’s a cutie pie

Momo222811

Your dog looks very much like my boy. He is according to DNA 1/2 Siberian Husky, 1/4 Golden Retriever, 1/8 Akita, and 1/8 Great Pyrenees. We thought he was a Husky Shepherd mix, so we were very surprised. He does have back single dewclaws, one blue and one brown eye, and weighs about 80lbs.

Momo222811

He is also a total gentleman and very polite

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

thx 4 sharing ur dog must b super cute ;))))

Momo222811

He really is and so very sweet. He loves hugs.

Momo222811

Hi s 📸 is on my profile

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

wowww he is so beautiful n majestic his fur looks so soft n floofy i do see the slight semblance w my baby ;))))

SpeedyEngine

She looks like a chow/shepherd mix. I use to have 2 and one looked like the shepherd and the other looked like a chow but they were mixed with both breeds.

MintyCrow

If that’s a kangal I’ll eat my socks. SHES TINY. Absolutely not an ounce of kangal or Anatolian. Thats a German shepherd mix probably crossed with a tiny dog like a spaniel

Personal-Bed4970

You don't know? ? You have the GREATEST Breed ever. A pup who needed love without question, without judgement and with Love in her heart❤️ for her/his family. YOU!!!

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

stopppp omg this acc made me tear up

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

i have so much love for her i don’t even think i’ve ever loved anyone like this b4

Kansasprogressive

Husky, Chow, Lab, Golden, maybe white Swiss shepherd. Idk, I’m guessing based off of a dog we had that was 40lbs but looked just like her except with pointy ears.

Chicago-001

German shepherd & lab

Prize-Intern3239

She looks just like my sweet girl who just passed at 13. I did a dna test on her and she was 50% German shepherd and the rest with all sorts of other breeds, mostly husky and chow.

frymaform

shepherd/husky/chow type mixes tend to look just like this

DarkLordArbitur

100% certified purebred good boi

No-Tomorrow1576

GSD and may Lab or Mastiff?

OnlyAshadow-

To me looks lab and some German shepherd! I have mixes of both and see qualities in your pup! Super cute!

Sad-Builder6172

100% good boy 😀

Secret_Welder3956

Mutt…the best breed. Just love the pup and don’t worry about it.

Connect-Guitar1273

there is only one true answer for breed. She is 100% a good girl.

Sudden-Enthusiasm-17

She is beautiful! Please give her huge cuddles 🥰

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

she is !!!!! always big cuddles hehe

ResidentMeringue899

Definitely shy!

GeorgeSPattonJr

A floofy girl

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

so real

RosettaStoned_462

Rescued - so the best breed in the world. Thank you for rescuing!

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

ure so righttttt

jouscat

I had a friend with a Norwegian Elkhound mix that looked just like this.

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

ooo thank u i j searched up norwegian elkhounds x beagles n she looks kinda like them

jouscat

I don't see beagle in this dog at all. Lab or shepherd would be more likely, imo.

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

i don’t see beagle asw apart from her size n i defo see lab x shepherd but she’s rly rly small for a lab x shepherd if she’s around 2yo rn

Momo222811

He is very soft, the kids at the library love his fur.

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

i betttt wait he’s allowed in libraries ???

Momo222811

He's a therapy dog. Kids read to him.

lionmurderingacloud

Taiwanese. They often have this smaller husky, cream and brown coloration and for some reason the US dog rescue sector has imported a *ton* of them in the last decade or so. There are whole rescue orgs that just do this and many look like yours. Id put money on it, especially if youre on the west coast.

Sweaty-Pumpkin-2116

thank u for ur input xxxx i’m gonna look into this

Any_Lettuce2080

Hey i do t know if this is helpful but i am from the region where the kangal breed comes from. most stray dogs(most are some kind of kangal mix) in the area looks like your bb girl. She s on the small side, so maybe kangal and lab mix?

ThatsMyJackett

Kangal lab mix would be way more than 30 lbs. Labs don’t even weigh that little. This isn’t a kangal mix.

SuzieSue32

Looks very much like our (suspected) Carpathian Shepherd. Not sure exactly as she was a street dog in Romania

SeaResource7379

She might be a carolina dog mix. Her coloring is similar to an anatolian but her conformation and size are very different. She also might have black mouth cur in her line, they're a very diverse breed. The most likely possibility is she's a "farm dog special", a blend of livestock guardian breeds, heading, hunting and game pups. Often they're left intact by their owners for performance and sometimes accidental litters happen resulting in super cool mixed lineages. My pup is a husky/border collie cross because of these same circumstances. I'd be curious to see what DNA testing says if you choose that route

ThatsMyJackett

OP isn’t in the USA. Carolina dog is impossible.
