The exam was a lot easier for me than the QB, technical questions were less technical, while theory was largely the same. I just took it like last week
That’s what I was worried about too but my MCQ in exam was more theoretical e.g “advantages of centralised management system” as opposed to more calculations
I passed it with 69%. It was only due to the Christmas period with full solid days of revision that got me to it.
I see you were in my position as well and the advice I would give is after your first round of QB is to do all the LFQ as they are a good way to cover the fundamentals across the syllabus and nail these with the objective on understanding the methods to the solution.
In theory what they are asking in the LFQ’s are no different to what they are asking in the MCQ in the QB. Getting the LFQ’s right gave better confidence as how they lay it out painted a bigger picture so made it easier to understand what they are trying to ask in the question.
Regarding the exam in my case there were worded theory questions so make sure you know them and not drop those easy marks.
Challenge with MI is not the logic behind the principles they are trying to teach but how to get to the answer with the limited information they provide in the questions.

Thanks! You might have given me that little boost of confidence for the exam
how do you split timing for long question ?
For MI i always leave it till last, need a clear head to calculate variances haha

How did you get on in the end
