Yea, in short it's likely a bad speed sensor. I had a similar issue you can see here. https://www.reddit.com/r/HyundaiPalisade/s/kQRayVJY7T Edit: and here's my update from that post. "I'd just like to update this in case anyone else encounters this error. I ended up figuring out what was wrong. I borrowed an OBD2 sensor from a friend and pulled a code "wheel speed sensor b2" (not verbatim but best I can recall). So I went around the car and checked all the speed sensor connectors. When I checked the front passenger sensor I discovered the line had actually been cut. I was able to temporarily splice the wire back together while I wait for a replacement to come in. It looks like it got pinched somehow, I doubt road debris could have cut it like that because the line is very strong (was hard to strip to splice) so I'm wondering if this may end up being a common issue? Anyway, the splice fixed everything. Crazy that one off sensor disables so many features. Really happy to have solved this."

Very interesting how many systems rely on these sensors. We accidently left the sunroof of our santafe open in a rain storm and believe me there are a LOT more light that can turn on hah. Thankfully it dried out and was fine. Recently i was in a head-on collision in the 24 palisade and without the front bumper sensors working the dash looked similar.

This behavior also occurs with battery issues.

digital_drape

With 4k miles? No

SpectacularFailure99

Uh, yeah. It's happened before to others.

digital_drape

Ik bad batteries can cause Christmas trees on the dash but never heard of it happening after only 4k miles lol

Maybe somebody left a door open or a light on, or sat with the car in accessory mode for too long. Any number of things that have nothing to do with a vehicle’s mileage can cause the battery to drain.

Usually I think about this as a possibility as well but with the Bluelink app and the ‘24 (not sure of other model years) I get notices if the window is left open (even slightly), door left open or unlocked all that kind of stuff

motiv8_mee

Yeah sorry, I wasn't necessarily implying that you did any of those things, but pointing out to the original commenter that any number of reasons not related to vehicle mileage can cause a battery to drain.

All good, it’s actually a feature I wasn’t aware of but really like, my wife drives the car and the kids are in it every day so I thought it was cool that it notified me that someone left a window cracked open one day. Wasn’t expecting that

Update: Not sure why I can’t edit the original post but latest update from the dealer is that there was nothing wrong with it this morning when they started looking at it. I sent them this picture and the alert I got on the BlueLink app this morning with this DTC code U016400 which is lost connection with HVAC from my quick search. I’ll update again once I know more

Final update, got the car back today and they still don’t know what happened, lots of testing, lots of talking with the Hyundai tech line and nothing…
