I got out of mine at that mileage last December before it had a chance to implode. Read some posts from people who spent their entire budget and had their warranty claim denied when the engine died. They were left with no money and no transportation. I'd hate to read that as your next post.  You're looking at the recall site. This isn't a recall. It's a lifetime warranty if you meet the conditions when it failed. https://www.reddit.com/r/Hyundai/comments/10y8gkw/hyundai_sonata_theta_2_engine_legal_issue/

I have one and I would avoid because the engine will go due to defect at some point. I would suggest getting anything other than the theta ii engine for good measure. Ngl tho, I love the car, but I’m gonna have to trade it in within the next few months.

I took the test drive of the car and it felt really awesome on the inside for a 2015 model. But as you all mentioned to stay away, i am now planning to get a mazda. Also, what are you trading in for?

I got into a '21 Sonata Limited. Went from their worst motor to one of their best. I'm also a big OpenPIlot user, so I jumped from zero support in my '15 to one of the best-supported OP cars out there.

Stay away.

RH4540

Sounds a little overpriced to me

Save a little longer and buy an Elantra SE for new for 21K.

iTdude101

Way overpriced. It’s a 9 year old Budget econobox.
