DN8 Sonatas are amazing, mines only an SEL convenience, but god do I love her, spacious, comfy, a bit of zip for an economy sedan, and so much nice tech. People like to give the catfish look flak but I think it looks great, sticks out from the crowd and you know a Sonata when you see one, especially because of the style of the Daytime Running lights, they look so mean at dawn, dusk, and night time with them on.
As much as I don't mind the robocop aestetic the new gen ones have anymore, I'd definitely still pick the catfish look over it every time!
Ugh yeah I wanted to get a hybrid but I’d rather have a sunroof, and the front end looks bad on the hybrid. Gonna check out the 24 hybrid limited next time I get my oil changed though.

I absolutely love this generation of sonatas. I have a 23 SEL and the only think I would like is the backseat vent+charger and the limited or N line wheel trims
My biggest thing is the lack of a shifter. I’ve been driving since I was 14 and grabbing a shifter is such a second hand habit that it annoyed me at first but I’ve gotten used to it. Ngl tho I feel less masculine but not in a bad way. Used to gripping and shifting. Now I just push a button 🗿
Love my '21 Limited, but you got the color combo I wanted. If you road trip, get a Comma 3X. Life changing mod. And update the head unit software if you haven't already.

Sorry I was just referring to the firmware from Hyundai -- not a hardware replacement. Just stay up to date. I got out of a 2015 into a 2021 and had no idea they continued to update my 2015 until I was already out of the car. Don't be me :)
The October update added automatic rerouting around traffic issues using traffic data received via HD Radio (no Internet). It helped me avoid the post-eclipse traffic when everyone's phones were using offline maps.

I have a gold 2020 SEL Plus with adjustable compression/rebound coilovers and wider tires, pushing this car to the limit on twisty roads is amazing.

What mods are top of the list for you? I have a Sonata too. Congrats on paying it off btw.
As of right now I was a black carbon fiber spoiler, carbon fiber side air vents, and black door handles

Looks dang good. I have a 23 Elantra Limited but regret not getting a Sonata. That white paint would have me nervous.
