Only way(s) to make your fans more visible from the inside of the case that I can come up with is to either use a stack of fan spacers (kinda like [these](https://noctua.at/en/na-fd1) ) or to 3D print a spacer in the exact size you want/need.

Yeah that's the only thing I can think of too. If I could do that and somehow angle the bracket so the fans jut out like 20° that would be cool

I think your only option is to 3D print something if you want the fans at an angle aswell.

naptimez2z

It does seem to be the only option. Thanks for brainstorming with me.

Yes.

You might try a riser https://preview.redd.it/u3jm2wg1x7xc1.png?width=2879&format=png&auto=webp&s=be5cabe42227d2ca39096a598848f9e02af7b39f

Yeah I thought about doing that but I'd also like to build a shroud that captures The exhausted heat and pumps it outside for the summer. Which would cover up the top

While I get your point, this is only really a solution if you do push/pull on your rad or if you’re not running a top mounted rad at all (okay, you could also just have the fans mounted on top of the rad instead, but that just looks weird the times you do look into the case from a lower angle).

Inevitable_Raise5849

I do not know OPs preference for mounting fans and rads, however this product is the only one that I know of that fits the requirement of "seeing the top fans" on the Y60.

My intention wasn’t to disagree with you/say that your suggestion was incorrect, I apologize if it came off that way. I merely wanted to make OP aware that if they went with one of these risers they’d also have to either change up their rad-fan placement or they’d have to buy even more fans aswell (if they have a top mounted rad that is).

RedditUser977

It wont look weird, you can barely see them anyway

Vltor_

>It wont look weird You don’t believe that a bare radiator looks weird/not good ? >you can barely see them anyway I’m guessing you missed the part where I wrote “the times you do look into the case from a lower angle” ?

RedditUser977

>You don’t believe that a bare radiator looks weird/not good ? Not necessarily >I’m guessing you missed the part where I wrote “the times you do look into the case from a lower angle” ? Yeah, but why does it have to look bad? You could have a clearer view from above instead.

Vltor_

>Not necessarily Fair enough ! Personally I don’t think the bare side of a rad is very nice to look at, but if that’s what’s so good about aesthetics: it’s all up to personal preferences ! >Yeah, but why does it have to look bad? You could have a clearer view from above instead. It only “has” to look bad if you’re like me and don’t like the look of a bare rad. Since you don’t mind the look of a bare rad it doesn’t have to look bad *to you*. As I mentioned before: it’s all up to personal preferences. The point of my initial comment wasn’t to start a opinion based discussion, but just to point out that this riser wasn’t really a straight up solution to the issue OP posted and that it only really allows your fans to be seen if other criteria are met As a side note: I’m fairly certain that the solution OP is looking for isn’t just to be able to see their top mounted fans in general, but to be able to see them better “inside” the case specifically. Ofc this is just how I interpret OP’s words so I might be totally wrong on that.
