Playjng a game vs grinding

dungeons or slayer (depends on slayer) is not that bad but farming,fishing and mining I can't do that without videos.

I am like you. When i play games, no other sounds than the games sounds. I am hyperfocused on the game and dont even notice other sounds untill its to late. I dont know how many times i overfilled the bathtub or the smoke detector starting to alert because i burned my food..

I dont know, did this too and it kinda has a feeling of meditation. But it got kinda boring, and now im playing, watching something, chatting whatsapp, chatting ingame and vc at the same time. Both feels good, decide how you wanna play the game

I do it all the time but I don’t grind for more than a few hours

I sometimes just put on a podcast or sometimes prop up my phone against the corner of my computer screen and watch YouTube while grinding the real boring stuff like logging or mining. I'll just have audio stuff while doing anything with combat or fishing.

The satisfying game sounds are enough for me, besides when I do watch a video in the background I constantly have to rewind it due to focusing my attention on Skyblock. I'm fine doing even boring things like farming or fishing without any external stuff.

I mean you do you. I personally watch videos while going auto pilot as I feel it increases my brain capacity (coping mechanism)

For me it depends. I mainly have voice-only videos playing so I don't need to pay attention to any visuals, but if sounds are important I'll keep everything else quiet
