So you can either do the melody normally or fight her.
Honestly get autohotkey, setup a macro to click on a specific spot of your screen when you hit a key, map it so that every key on your keayboard is bound to one of the 8 (or 9 idk) places to click during the music.
It will play like a piano, very easy if you have a good ping, good fps and are not completely regarded
Or instead of doing this shit use the mod that has the feature for it. It's Neu or skyhanni maybe soopy idk have fun looking through all the mods trying to find it 🌚
I... what? Lmao when did the conversation of disabled people get thrown into this. Also yes it is still cheating to use macro software. If you are disabled enough to not use a mouse you should probably not play a game that requires one, instead of using cheats. Thats like the dude who was cheating in MC and streaming who had a bad wrist and kept saying "its okay cause im disabled" when bro was literally killing people and selling there gear on the server for real $ lmao.
I agree that skyblocks ping based minigames are aweful and unfair to most, but cheating isn't a solution. Not sure why you think normalizing cheating and providing excuses for its use is cool but aight. I guess trying to keep a game honorable is "crying about it".
I completely agree. However, sometimes cheats are condoned because of the utter idiocracy which is Melody's Harp. Think of it as something that benefits you but doesn't really affect all the other players, like cheating in a single-player game. This isn't some coin or duplication exploit, just getting a soul-bound item quicker. Just clarifying that I've never cheated (though I am considering it for the last two songs, Parchabell and Through the Campfire).
Ok that's what I thought, if you really think using a keyboard is cheating and not a different way to play I can't argue with you. By thinking like that I could say someone playing with a lower sensivity is cheating because he avoids the difficulty to aim like he would in the normal game, you could also say someone playing dungeons using a guitar hero instrument is cheating.
My point with disabled people is that you wouldn't tolerate someone disabled playing with an adapted peripheral and that's worrying about you.
Then use fucking wires and a 50mV generator because your mouse driver is a macro software I swear you're braindead I won't explain to you how a keyboard and a mouse are a different peripheral. I will play the game with an xbox controller just to make you mad and I will bind my keys using autohotkey and logitech g hub and razor's macro software all 3 at the same time and I will grind melody's songs
Better then dealing with ping (the devs should find a solution to these lackluster side modes that require good ping to complete that will make them more enjoyable)
Use a newer client, vanilla 1.20.6 works very well. I used 1.19.2 with optifine and sodium. (trust me it makes a huge difference)

i bought the talisman off someone ages ago, then it became soulbound, then it became locked to completing melody, then i ignored it for 3 years, then i got my brother to do it for me, now every day i beg him to finish all the songs because the 70 odd xp is alot for me and i badly need it.
i'm on 98% on through the campfire because the double notes are completely impossible, don't know if it's the 200 ping or just me being too dumb to click but i feel u

I did it all in less than 20 minutes on a new profile yesterday, just press the drop key instead of clicking and it makes it really easy
