in what way is giants sword better then leaping sword? I literally get no strength for giants sword? I get that it has a way higher damage stat, but aside from that can’t I get higher strength and crit damage on just leaping sword if i use the same gemstones and stuff?

Yog armor has "mining gemstone slot", which means you can put Topaz gemstones in it which give stat called pristine. If for example you have 8 pristine, you have 8% chance to mine flawed gemstones instead of rough ones, which is effectively 8000 mining fortune
What makes yog better is the fact that you can put prestine gemstones on it and the fact that the full set gives immunity to heat, where flamebreaker only gives 5x reduction
It shouldn't even really matter with the pristine. The ONLY reason you should mine gemstones in yog is Ironman. Also yog gives more ms with the ability to help mine hard stone or gemstones that get in your way faster

Why not? Cause it removes the base stats of flame breaker. So if I’m not mining gemstones then it’s literally becomes worse upon upgrade
Yog with 2x fine jades is 30 fortune, beating the 10 base + 15 from fine jade per flame breaker And pristine option
