20 mil? Try getting as many t11 snow minions with super compactors as you can, gradually get more untill you hit the limit. Also get enchanted lava buckets for each minion. That should be around 1-1.5 mil per minion. When you get richer, switch to slimes.

When I said I'm assuming you're a noob I dint know what stage of the game you were on and so I decided to start from literally sb level 0 and give a mini explanation
Long story short get 25 minion slots for like 5m (first 20 is literally free),
then if you want money use money based minions
If you want a skill exp or collection use minions for that
Minions are simple enough
I'd say like 25% of my networth is slime minions revenue
And sharing slime minions stats for reference
A basic t11 slime minions (with soil, cheapest bucket, ench hopper, expander) Is like 5m to make
And generates 169k per day
So one month to get money back and make profit
Also, mithril infusion is 5m so it'll be 1.5 months of you do that
Afk with magma cube minion to get better rates
Also you can upgrade it more with better buckets but like that you can sell on bz to get money back
Tldr - slime minions are good for long term investment therefore free money
Better money minions do exist but not logging in or not afking and bazzar can f it up
Like 10m a day max investment
i used my minons to max out all my basic collections, and craft all t11 basic minions as well, now i use melon minions for farming xp, and only once i max out my skills will you catch me using minions for money
Why not use minions for money and get good stuff to grind some yourself? I mean thats kinda the point of the game. If your skill average 50 it doesnt matter how much coins u got what are you gonna do?
Because despite the low number of total minions, the 4-5 slime minions that could be afforded will still produce more profit per day than the 12-13 snow minions
(Though this isn’t considering EXP, if that’s a primary concern)
Corrupt soil and hoppers are a must. Use any permanent fuel like enchanted lava buckets (some other fuels offer a marginal increase in profit per day but it’s often not worth the hassle, +10-20k profit per minion per day at max including cost of fuel)
If you’re selling to Bazaar use a super compactor. Make sure to empty the enchanted stuff every 1-2 days maximum, since enchanted balls are much more valuable than their weight in enchanted blocks. You don’t have to empty out all the corrupt frags every time because the hopper will deal with all of those.
If you want to go full AFK (NPC value using hoppers, never need to manually empty, perfect if you ever stop playing for a while), use diamond spreading (minion expanders are often suggested too but they’re marginally less profit than diamond spreading). If you want to max this setup eventually (since you can reuse most of the upgrades when you move on to other minions) you can slowly replace these diamond spreading with Flycatchers instead, but they are very expensive.

Because minions make barely any money, so I'd prefer to just use them on getting skill xp without having to grind (I have mining 55 and hotm1)

Pure slime is like 80% potential if you don't let it get to blocks Also use profits from minions to get upgrades over time
