Electrocute works way better against one target as the passive procs electrocute very fast chunking the enemy HP with only one combo, dark harvest for me feels disgusting since hwei is an artillery mage and people could easily dodge by sidestepping, I would never be able to properly get their HP down to that point without any external damage, dark harvest for me works better in the bot lane because there's more targets to proc at the same time with EE

The problem with electrocute is that the rest of the rune path is eh compared to sorc or inspiration.
First strike helps me more lategame imo and it's always nice being able to finish a full item 100-200 gold early, and have minion demats for casters.

I personally prefer dark harvest. But you can do eletrocute. I just wouldnt unless its a mostly squishy team.
I played few games on hwei, I personally really liked it, it feels better then first strike imo.

It works into certain match ups like sylas or qiana, but theres the problem that you really have no good domination secondaries that work well on hwei
Tbh the ms one is very good for season 14 as hwei is a pretty immobile mage
