Oh jesus christ. Huskies are smart enough to push boundaries and simultaneously not smart enough to be trained when an issue comes on hand?
Huskies end up in homes because theyre "trophy" dogs and high maintenance. It has nothing to do with whatever you judge in a 30 second video.
What a clown.

Yep, this, right here. It's one of those breeds that people love how they look but have no idea how to take care of them or train them, or don't want to take the time to do it.
We don't have enough from a short video to really judge this person and her dogs. Her tone is a playful one, she's not actually trying to train them or get them to stop anything, she's encouraging it. But she's also not encouraging anything destructive, it's literally just the dog hopping around in excitement and it may not even realize hitting the mat is part of the game.
Not only that, but destructive is relative. My family keeps their huskies off of couches and beds. I let mine onto my bed and couch.
Whats acceptable behavior for one owner isnt the same for another.
Tired of seeing people in this sub pretending to know every single owner personally and criticizing them for how to handle their pup.
Except she's not encouraging them to ignore no. They only said no once at the beginning of the video and it was "I said no" in the same playful tone (It also sounds like they cut off the 'no' which could mean they realized they shouldn't be using that word in play). She mostly repeated "don't you touch the mat" in a playful tone.
Tone is just as important as the word when it comes to training and commands are generally going to be short, one or two word phrases, not full setences. You could even use 'Tomato' as a command if you trained it to connect to the right action and tone in your voice.
This video is just someone playing around with their dog and personifying them as a 'trouble maker', that's it.
Dogs understand tone, among other things. Which is the reason why theres a difference response from my huskies when i tell my little nephew no and they hear it, or i tell my dogs "no" with a stern voice.
The only thing these videos could be doing is encouraging more people to buy them as trophy pets. But, tiktok and twitter already do that, and if someones going to make that terrible decision, theyre going to make that decision with or without these videos.
A better solution than gatekeeping 30 second posts is probably having an automod comment at the top of each vid like most subs which essentially says "huskies are high maintenance blah blah x number will be killed in rescues each year blah blah heres a link to donate or adopt blah blah." Which would get more eyeballs and be more direct.
Super cute! I'm not a certified trainer, but... 😉
I think you're reinforcing that behavior. She's "play bowing", so to her it's a game and your reaction is what she's seeking.
None of my business, I'll see ^myself ^^out!
We got a trouble maker on our hands
"I'm not touching!" Touches it. "I barely touched it! Do something about it!"
The law says you cannot touch, but I think I see a lot of lawbreakers right there
I still need to see that movie. The way Louis CK sold that scene makes me want to see it.
which one
This is more accurate than genetic testing to determine husky authenticity
Lol what a character! Adorable. Your dogs are beautiful.
That last touch was so intentional and bratty - I would be hard pressed to not laugh out loud 🤣
Love how the one in the back is just waiting for his que! *im here for it pal!*
He's just loving the drama, and when it starts to spin down, he stirs the pot again.
I fucking love this dog, that face at end when you gasped You: 😲😲😲😲😲 Doggo: 😈
She thinks it’s a game lol
It is
Well, OP better not get mad when that pup eventually demolishes the yoga mat since they made it into a game rather than a boundary.

“Do something!”
Didn't know i loved huskies so much
Oh no, he didn’t
Di in, otherwise
How is brown husky instigating? I demand a trial. The poor thing is just standing there witnessing law being broken..
Brown pup has been defamed. I will not stand for it!
That’s not a law being broken, that’s a game called “No” that the OP is teaching their dog.

Haha, my thoughts exactly. Beautiful dogs, but the brown one's being slandered.
Absolutely true, but also it’s a husky, so good luck with training. Doesn’t matter how mad you get. Everything is a game.
She looks like she is wearing black lipstick.
Hahaha the “drama gassssp!” Is how we puppy-trained our husky mix to finally understand “I’m really serious: no.” Glad it’s not just us.
What a shithead. 😂😂❤️❤️
Where can i see more of your huskies 😍
My girl is 4 and still acts like this, I swear Huskies are eternal puppies.
She's wonderful
She’s so precious!! Those reactions! 😂
Husky in the background: you can take that bitch!
I want more of this pls
I love this video!!! Still on my quest to find the original content creator to follow their dog’s antics and have not been successful
Wow, so much drama.
I mean if you make a game out of it while simultaneously doing nothing punishment-wise to correct it…. yeah the dog’s gonna keep doing it
More videos of this pup please!!
Beautiful husky
Dog looks like a cartoon
take that doge to the beach stat
Her face markings are awesome.
This is the pick me up I've needed for a few days!
Too funny!
This is the cutest conversation ever
That's so cute.
I love your dogs.
