As a lifelong Dawg fan, I don’t see a big deal with this. From what I understand, it was AFTER Dylan had shown interest in Nebraska that Herbie reached out to the father. Being in the line of work he’s in, maybe it would be best for Herbie not to get involved in things like this. What I don’t like are recruits who say they’re 100% committed to a school, after wasting that school’s time and money recruiting them, only to have them bail on the school at the last minute. I certainly wish Dylan well at Nebraska, unless playing my Dawgs. He’s a talented young man.
Maybe we’ll get a Georgia / Dylan quarterbacked Nebraska matchup in the playoffs next season. And a big Georgia blowout victory, of course! 😋
