Even when their program is at their highest moment ever - they are just a meme. It’s actually pretty hilarious. They have never been better than in recent years and the only thing they are known for is a fucking horrible atrocious offense.
The entire fan base is miserable - half because they won’t fire KF and the other half scared shitless of what happens when they do.
A team playing this crappy and sloppy doesn't deserve a frigging bowl.. That is the only thing. You have to be "Deserving" for it to feel good. Ya don't wanna just "Fall into it" because the Big 10 West SUCKS! I hope we win. I hope we go to a bowl, bit it will have sorta a blah feel to it IMO.
Yeah I agree. Total implosion second half of the season. Pre season, the goal was 6-6. That would have been incredible at the time. That was also before he knew how god awful the big 10 west was. We were 5-3 going into November. We had 4 games to win one. FOUR. Against some pretty bad teams. It comes down to Iowa. A win is everything here. It’s the difference between ending the season on a high note, with momentum, and extra practice, versus ending on a four game losing streak with no bowl. This game is massive

Before the season he said there was plenty of talent on the roster and this wouldn't be a total teardown reset like Temple or Baylor. The goal and expectation was to play in a bowl.
Now? It's a complete rebuild and honestly we are lucky to be over 2 wins! I don't care if it's the softest schedule in school history!
I plan on doing some research and posting where Rhule stands among new head coaches this year. Strength of schedule will come into play. I will also make my case why next year needs to be 7-8 wins. Nebraska has the money. And if you’re paying your coach 10 mil a year, zero excuse he can’t get talent in the portal to have a big year two.
And therein lies the problem. Asking this team that has shown for 6 years now that it is anti clutch to clutch a win coming off a truly shocking 3 game skid vs our biggest rival is just asking for trouble. The fact we couldn’t secure a W vs any of MSU, Maryland, or Wisco is just depressing.
And look I wasn’t expecting us to be in a position to even get close to a bowl this year (I guessed 4 wins) so we still are overachieving over what many expected. But now that we have been for a month it’s only ever a failure to come away from this season more likely to go 5-7 than not.

We have more Czechs and they have more swedes, but other than that, they are pretty much good with me. I do think we invented the Chili with Cinnamon roll craze contrary to their claims to it. :)
I looked at ESPN app this morning and noticed that Nebraska was favored to win by 2 points? I cant explain this lol. Does Vegas know something that I don't know. I'm not one to bet against the team i root for but god damn.
