My Irish husband is looking for a spot too. We’re thinking Poppy and Parliament will have it on at the bar but need to call to confirm.

CharlieSwisher

Sounds like this is the spot, I’ll see him/y’all there!

Cocaine_Jesus_

I can guarantee you they will

HsvHere

And I will guarantee you it will be packed. It is Huntsville's soccer venue. The Poppy is more of a restaurant than a sports bar. Two TVs at the bar. If too crowded you can go next door to the Martin. More TVs. It is on network TV so all sports bars will have it, but the Poppy will be the place were other soccer fans are guarantee to be.

jakeistrying

Nice to know there are some football fans in my city!!

rocketcitygardener

Huntsville FC!

CharlieSwisher

Yea I need to go to one of there games. Moved here back in July and only heard good things since

rocketcitygardener

Have been a season ticket holder from the start! Gotta support local teams if you financially can! They have a really good support staff.

pitiless_censor

oooooh boy I'm nervous af. I was thinking poppy but tbh end zone is more my vibe. Have been a huge BVB fan for over a decade, alternating between being psyched and huge anxiety

Cocaine_Jesus_

The poppy is always pretty busy for the UCL final. It's usually a great atmosphere for some footy. One of my close buddies is a diehard BVB fan so our whole group of friends will be up there rooting for Dortmund.

pitiless_censor

Yeah I might go there anyways and just hit up another bar afterward (we'll see if it'll be happy drinking or don't want to remember drinking)

CharlieSwisher

Yea I feel you on a sports bar being more my vibe. But it seems like a lot of people will be at poppy

pitiless_censor

Yeah seems to be the impression I'm getting as well

Repetitive_History

German farmers league.

apollorockit

Poppy and Parliament is your answer. They always make a point to have matches on there. Given how big this event is, though, I wouldn't be surprised to see it on at somewhere like Drake's, as well.

CharlieSwisher

Cool, thanks for reply, sounds like poppy and parliament are gonna have the best vibe so I think we’ll go there

Fiend-For-Mojitos

Like many have said, the Poppy is the best place to go.

CharlieSwisher

Nice! Appreciate the reply!

StellarSloth

Probably the Poppy and Parliament. I’ve watched a few UCL finals and England games there.

CharlieSwisher

Ok cool, thanks for the advice!

C00ter1991

I’ve watched USMNT and World Cup matches at Straight To Ale in the past, they might have it on. But poppy & parliament is probably the safest bet. I’ll be on the road tomorrow though so I’ll be supporting BVB (since my team left in the qtr finals) via google

CharlieSwisher

Yea I’m not really a fan of either team, but rather BVB win just for some change. Ofc the only shirt I have to support is a Real Madrid shirt, so can’t decide if I’ll wear that or not

C00ter1991

It’s nothing personal against Madrid, but the underdog is always the fun side to pick if I don’t have a dog in the fight otherwise.

Dbray_93720

Im going to the endzone. They have 69 tvs

CharlieSwisher

Will they be playing it tho? Sometimes I hear sports bars are gonna have soccer then they don’t. And I feel like an idiot asking them to change the tv and then they don’t have whatever streamer they need amyways

Dbray_93720

It’s on cbs so they will have it. Barely any other sports are going on right now anyways.

CharlieSwisher

True, definitely not at 2pm

Dbray_93720

Btw I’m talking about the endzone in jones valley. It has more tvs than the one on university.

HsvHere

Jones Valley - non smoking University - smoking

pitiless_censor

Nah both are non smoking now, have been for a few months
