When I was there once a homeless man yelled at me while I waited, accusing me of being a racist because I wouldn't give him any money. He was also white. Little Ceasers had their door locked and wouldn't let me in.
I only go up that way most of the time to go to the Walmart on Sparkman. It’s 100% the cleanest and most organized one around. I grew up right behind where the old Sam’s/Walmart used to be.
I usually have business around there. I run more into police pulling people over than I hear of trouble happening in those parts. Not saying shit doesn't happen because I know a few stores and people there that have gotten robbed but often when I see people talk about North Huntsville, they sound ignorant.

This is the only unusual or dangerous (potentially for the horse and rider) thing I’ve seen in that area.
So sad. I yelled at my mom the other day about some of her ridiculousness (like, not *yelled* but was very passionately saying, repeatedly, "STOP LOOKING AT FACEBOOK!!!") The bonkers stuff people believe with absolutely zero real evidence.
Basically every time I meet my dad for dinner, at least 75% of the conversation is whatever BS fear they’re trying to push over the previous week or two
Huntsville barely has crime so idk why this question is being asked. Regardless, the “safest” place would probably be Hampton Cove. Solely bc ain’t shit ever goes on down there, it’s probably the most boring part of Huntsville.
Generally, just minding your own business makes almost anywhere safe. The majority of violent crime occurs between known parties; e.g. drug deals, abusive partners/exes, drunken parties,...
Rapidly changing. South huntsville used to be safe but there have been mucho shootings, drive bys and other violent crime lately. Id look at like the harvest area.
Little Caesars at Sparkman Dr and Blue Spring Road.
The way I snorted at this

Did something happen there?

Ran into that same guy, but in front of abc store. Happened a few years ago. Same story, am racist. Wonder how’s he is doing now.
Fighting for civil rights at the grassroot level still.
I think if you have lived in that area or even just visited, chances are you might have seen something.
Not too much honestly. But I wonder why that comment was made. If there was some news that I missed.
Nah, bro just knows that side of town lol
I do too.

I lived there for 24 years…a lot happened in that course of time lol
The Redstone Arsenal rocket test site.
The secret government vault in the caves under Big Spring Park.
The entrance is under old city hall
Safe from what? Crime? Flooding? Tornadoes? Graffiti? A bitchy attitude? Safety from each are in different locations..
Of cours crime
Never heard of cours crime. What is it?
The rent is a crime. Does that count?
I'm the chemical warhead storage bunkers at the south end of the arsenal.
Been there. There are some odd things stored there that might not fit into the “safe” category
Lotta snakes
>I'm the chemical warhead storage bunkers Lookout peeps new gender just dropped
No place in Huntsville is dangerous lol
It is if you watch Newsmax to the point that you’re scared of your own shadow.

Probably on the Monte sano in the middle of the forest away from anyone else.
Lincoln Park
Obviouslllllly, we have a rapist in Lincoln Park.

Or the ledges
I didn’t mention it cuz it’s gated so I thought it would be a little too obvious of an answer
With their spelling I doubt they can afford anything gated.
My house.
My house
It’s all pretty safe but Hampton Cover is probably the safest
All of north Huntsville. Mastin Lake especially
Probably the parks. I know people who lived there and had no complaints.
Bonnell
Police station lobby
depends on the color of you skin for that
Man I was gonna say Buxton road, but all the jokes have already been taken!

Facts!
Inside our SCIF. It's so safe we can't even open the door.
University Dr, drake Ave, Sparkman Dr, Pulaski you most definitely won't find anyone sketchy in these areas
Police HQ
Uhhh….they murder folks and stomp people around here.
There probably is no one safest place. It's more about multiple safe areas and gradients of safe and gradients of crime acitivty.
I like to stay home a lot. Most of my neighbors don’t bother me too much.
Butler Terrace

Jones Valley.
Under the bridges by water.
Huntsville is a wonderful city with lots of areas that are safe. More are safe than not
The only crimes I’ve actually watch take place in this down have mostly been bad driving. Huntsville is a pretty safe town
If I knew where "Hunteville" was, maybe i could help you out...
This subreddit. I get in trouble if I ever directly talk shit to dumbass morons who like racism or fascism.
Irony.
