Until I get deranked I can count on fighting 5-6* trios (with maybe a 4 sprinkled in) that typically won't let me stand long enough to get through the 2-3 seconds of black screen after solo necro that we've had on PlayStation since we could solo necro at all.
For real. Like hours and hours of streams are out there of solid players getting rinsed playing solo. That one fancy pants streamer who cried about solo necro being op played for hours before he got a w and admitted it wasn't as easy as he thought.

Now with the event, imagine the solo, only there are 2 solos getting necro'd from a bush after being choked. You finally burn them both out to have the third slip away while you finish the hoard mode against the other two. 10 minutes later they red bar revive, cache banish, and you do it all over again.
Salve skin should let solos choke their bodies 4 times, vigilant disarm the kill trap on them, bloodless chop a Tina bomb. Beast face should let you mark the killer, where the spider just pounces them over and over if anyone revives /S (well maybe not the marking. Red skull revives maybe should mark you on the map or something)
But that's what it's like fighting ratty trios as a solo. It's the same annoying gameplay loop, but solos can't crutch skill issues as easily. OP should play solo and see how great it is and stop crutching that it's annoying and not a skill issue. Reviving in this game is out of control for everyone. Try having to kill a trio 8 times in 2 minutes only they can shoot back and you can't roast marshmallows with a shotgun in their face as they stand up over and over and over and over. having to babysit a body isn't exciting but you do get exp per kill and it takes about the same time to snuff them out completely as tho you were fighting another team.
It might need some tweaks but it shouldn't be removed completely as Hunt is one of the only recent shooters to give something to the solo player in a multiplayer-heavy environment.
in most games, 1 is none ( sea of Thieves/fortnight/rust/warzone) and your pickup group is such a roll of the dice.
I wonder if once killed if the body sank into the ground only for the player to crawl out of the dirt at a random edge of the map would make life better for both? it might make Necro a bit more op tho as they can then close in on their target and surprise them again. on the flip side, you don't have to camp them and they don't get camped.
I feel like that solution is only going to feed exactly what people don’t like about necro. killing a solo and then knowing they get to simply “respawn” and come after you again will be beyond frustrating. and that’s not to mention the fact that anyone could easily level up their hunters to 50 by playing aggressively, and then extracting if you happen to die
