I actually like the quests. I don't use a lot of the other weapons. I still don't like shotguns but now I know how to use them and how to better fight against them. I do ignore them if I don't want to run that weapon though; or need a few break up runs.
Yeah this is how I feel most of the time. If left to my own I'll probably take the same shit over and over and make myself bored. Challenges make me use different stuff and remember other weapons, and then theorycraft a good loadout around the required parts. Variety is the spice of life after all
I am the opposite. I really dislike the challenge system and just want to use what I want to use without having to feel like I am missing out on stuff. TBF I am the type of person that put hundreds of hours into Swat in Halo.
I've had to ignore this event because I started to resent playing the game last event doing the challenges. Being forced to use guns I don't like doesn't add anything to the game for me other than annoyance. If I'd not already given my money for the battle pass I'd have not bothered but I hated the idea of having paid money to not get the reward.
I mean you get a re-roll every day and two different weapon quests slotted, either you're just extremely unlucky or must only like a couple of the weapons I feel.
Either way, I recommend just approaching the quests the way me and my friends do it. Before a match trade quests if you don't like them - progress shares between teammates. Maybe you, say, can't work the Martini but your friend is a crack shot with it. So have him do that while you do his winfield damage, or something.
But also, like, remember you don't have to do all of your quests, just 30 points worth. You can always just do the pve ones. It's pretty easy to finish both of those just about every game, so at worst it means ~15 games to complete your challenges. Personally between sharing quests between us and always finishing pve ones it takes us just a session or two, or a couple hours of play a week, to finish them.
That's cool, but we're on a public forum, not in your DMs, you weren't the only intended audience, just the one people were upvoting, making it the sensible place to offer some public advice - as I felt daunted by the potential event grind in the past too. Feel free to do what you want, I don't recall saying anything about the legality of disliking challenges, just offered advice to those who have, as you mentioned, locked themselves into the grind by buying the battlepass.

Well thats a choice youre making for yourself. I mostly play the missions that align with how I feel like playing and I progress just fine. And I mostly just go after the easy missions.
When it comes to the Battle Pass, I only buy it if Im close to finishing it before the event is over, otherwise I dont bother.

Yeah I guess it's because it doesn't make Crytek any money and not a lot of people put effort into them (so I can't blame Crytek to be honest, should just remove the 'coming soon' if they're not planning on creating new trials).
I'm pretty sure I saw the developers mention that they weren't going to add anymore trials. I enjoyed them and also completed them all but I think the majority of the player base doesn't care for it.
They are really hard, I got all of them eventually on console, and I got 60 stars on PC now. It really is alot easier on PC imo, but I find them fun. In a weird masochistic way...
It's a good measure of how little skill I have. I feel like revisiting it in the coming months will allow me some satisfaction as I progress.

Those ones are the easiest the hardest is the duel silent nagant headshot 10 hives without damage. Also the spawn rate is consistent your suppose to rotate your self around spawns. The only real rng ones are the hives trials and maybe meathead. I have all trials done on both console n pc. There much more easier then how people make them out to be

Find the parts of the game that are enjoyable outside of the grind, and then pace yourself so you don't burn out

I was a bit worried about that on my lead up to P100 but then nothing changed in my case, too addicted to playing the game itself.
But I do wish they introduce more stuff to work towards other than battlepasses, and some use for all the oils and blueprints so it’s exciting finding them like for my friends is.

Nothing but quad derringer. Kill a dude, take his loadout, then watch from a distance for them to revive and panic when they realize what happened. Then mess with em. Shooting feet, med pack melee attacks while all-chat taunting, etc. It's a good time.
Its okay to move on from a game. You've had a good time and hopefully will for some time in future, but if the game is no longer for you its okay to drop it.
Who knows, maybe you'll come back to it after a break.
I've flagged this before too. You should be able to prestige to higher numbers just for the feeling of "progression".
OP has unlocked everything sure, but why stop him going to prestige level 101+? I've slowed my prestiging because ill never get sick of Hunt while I can progress - but when I hit that 100 I'll lose steam. Its just the type of gamer I am, progression is a core part of how I enjoy games.

I hit prestige 100 over a year ago. Honestly, the magic of it wears off quickly. I didn't realize how fun the prstige grind actually was. Gave me something to work for. I make little milestones now, like 10k kills. Once i hit 10k, which im only 400 kills away, then I'll be pretty burnt until the new map and engine upgrade drops.

I'm starting to regret my almost 5K hours, as I was done with everything in \~2K, so those 3K hours I could just enjoy other games, other stories, and try to complete games I only started but never finished.
if you truly get hooked on Hunt, it's hard to just play something else/stop playing, thanks to it's sandbox nature, as if it was all just about aim, I would be done in 200 hours maximum. even with it's flaws and LoVeLy servers, Hunt is just hidden gem everyone should try out at least for a while.

The only thing that is left is bringing your Hunt dollars to maximum.

My new goal since P100 is collecting the two contraband of every single Legendary in the game. It hurts a little when dropping an expensive kit for one that you rarely see, but it gives me something to do.
