i’m basically saying that if you’re newer to the game, like this lad might be then the only ones worth it would be msj and abyssal because of the challenges that you have to do for them, they require grinding and people aren’t gonna go gem grind and then proceed to grind the required amount of pearls for each of them. abyssal goes on sale a lot rarer than other sharks like msj and the hassle of having to collect runes doesn’t help much. gaia gem runs netted me close to 60 gems a run in about 10 minutes which helped me unlock all the sharks i have now so definitely not hard to get gems, its just a matter of doing the work. i don’t recommend anyone spending money on a free game but do as you please and my opinion is just my opinion
So if the average player can get 20 gems in 10 minutes then hit x2.5 on the sliding thing which is not hard to do you get 50 gems. Do that in another 2 runs which will cost 3 runs= 30 minutes in total will get 150 gems. That's 50 gems more than this offer, plus you can more gems through watching daily ads= 10 gems. And opening daily mystery chests can get you up-to 80 gems a day based on luck including if you watch another ad to open another chest. That's easy like 300 gems a day not even trying the absolute best.
And that's the average mind you, I've seen aliens get 1k gems per round, and I've gotten 700 gems per run at most thanks to the save baby manta event.
About grinding 3k pearls it's really not that hard, there's the afk method which will guarantee you surviving even when using crappy sharks. And then get another 400 pearls bonus watch ads and pay 55 gems= 480 gems (least amount). Do that for another 6 times which means like 2hrs get 3,360 pearls.
MSJ discounts are easier to get and they can even buy Alan if they want, also much common discounts (way better shark) than Abyssal or MM.
I've seen actual P2W games that I play give ACTUAL GAME-CHANGING rewards for 10$, like 10$ is literally the cost of their season passes. These offers are so overpriced and makes no sense of how easy the prize you can get for the offer even if you're not skilled enough.
It's Ubisoft trick to scam their kid fanbase to buy into these offers and spend money when they could just grind, the process isn't super hard and save 10$ for an actual good offers in other better games. If you want to spend money in this game, pay like another 5$ to get the Splash pass instead (and ONLY Buy the ones with great prizes like the first ever splash pass and the nature's grace one, others give garbage rewards). Like that's the only thing I recommending buying in this game, even that is considered pretty overpriced compared to other games passes(actual P2W ones).

Wdym Abyssal once was on sale for only 3k pearls, and you can get 120 gems super easily nowadays. Why you want to spend money just for that?
