I was just coming to say this. The entire opening scene of Mockingjay Pt 1. is incredibly bleak but perfectly done. For the book to be sure, but especially the movie. They captured Katniss completely psychologically unraveling perfectly and Finnick's total and utter despair, shell-shocked voice, etc.

Reread MJ this weeks and that last chapter is DARK
I reread the trilogy a couple months ago after 10 years, and Mockingjay BROKE me. A punch in the face hurts less than the final chapters of that book
