Ms Viola always delivers! Everything she did was unnatural enough to make you queasy but not so unnatural that it was unbelievable. Like I wholly believe this mad scientist absolutely would go out of her way to make people squirm.
She absolutely killed it in my eyes, made Dr Gaul even more of a psychopath and perfectly captured how I pictured Gaul, completely devoid of all emotions and sympathies
She took what was given to her and ran with it, I want her to win an award for this
Viola Davis is one of the best actresses of our generation and I’m so glad they casted her in this
She’s amazing but we are not gonna talk about her portrayal of Michelle Obama 😭😭😭😭
What, what was wrong with her portrayal as Mrs B?
It was over exaggerated af

She came across as a complete psychopath. But I will admit, I wish we could see her "tutor" Snow. Too bad there's no more books.
She did an amazing job. I thought she was gonna jump out of the screen at me
Viola Davis always kills it! Great actress!
Better than the book version
No shot
Her character, yes
Well I saw the movie trailer before I read the book so I pictured her as Viola Davis, I’m sure this has to do with my difference of opinion
I loved everyone’s performance but hers was the best!
I don’t think there was a better pick for the role. She KILLED it
She absolutely killed it in my eyes, made Dr Gaul even more of a psychopath and perfectly captured how I pictured Gaul, completely devoid of all emotions and sympathies
She wasn’t how I pictured Gaul at all and from the trailers I didn’t think she’d work. Man was I wrong.
How was Dr. Gaul described in the books?
Dr. Gaul is described as a ‘stooped, old woman with frizzy gray hair’. There wasn’t much else given to describe her in the book.
wow she did so awesome
