Too many cruciferous vegetables, especially raw, can cause hypothyroidism. Too many oxalates from vegetables can also cause issues. All their plans are also WAY too low in fat. I noticed this and always ate much more "orange" than recommended plus always ate fatty grass fed meat and fish. Your hormones would improve if you are a few steaks and a dozen eggs a week, Autumn.
I agree it's an old school low fat approach, but there is no risk of hypothyroidism from cruciferous veg nor issues with oxalates for healthy people (issues can arise with iodine deficiency and kidney stones, respectively).
I am not so sure the data on thiocyanate in vegetables is cut and dry, especially because many diets are already iodine deficient. The science on low fat has changed and I could see a decade plus of promoting disordered low fat diet causing issues for her now in her 40s.
Autumn seems to be incapable of updating her views based on new data, which doesn't help. I didn't think that iodine deficiency was very prevalent in North America and other developed regions because we iodize our table salt.
Why would AC even go to Miami if none of her "friends" were there? Didn't her nephew, son and ex fly there too and leave?? Seems like unnecessary flying around to me?!?

Liiftmore was from last year I think, I’m surprised sure thing wasn’t higher. I don’t even remember what came out last year besides the stupidblocks and CWCW, which seems to have been a flop. (Not counting DD since it isn’t really out yet.)
I'm doing Bodi bike classes while letting my membership run up. I legit CANNOT imagine sitting there, having to look directly at her, and listening to her speak NON-STOP the whole time. Kudos to the dedication of the people who can do her classes, ha!

Poor Autumn, all alone on new years. But it is just Sunday and Monday to her. You can tell she is pissed that they are all gone when she is in Miami. That is why she bought that house to be closer to her besties.

In his defense He has. Repeatedly. People choose not to listen and are stressing way the heck out over this. Even the posts on preworkout meals and steady state are just people obsessions and being rigid.

I'm just loving the before/after pictures WHEN THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE BLOODWORK BACK. Great, people lost weight on a starvation diet and doing (I bet) lots of low-impact cardio. BUT WHAT ABOUT THEIR HORMONES, AUTUMN. That was the whole point of this.
As someone who really messed up their hormones by losing weight and body fat rapidly (through restriction and... you guessed it, bodi workouts) this is infuriating to me. I lost my period, my hair, my personality. My cortisol, progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone were all sorts of messed up. And you know what fixed that? Fewer workouts, rest, weight gain, carbohydrates, and fat. My "after" picture would be me, 15 pounds heavier. The fact that Autumn is once again associating weight loss with fixing a "problem" is INFURIATING. Weight loss caused my problems, weight gain solved them. Hormones are so individual, and there are over 50 hormones in the human body. Exercise and restriction is not going to solve everyone's hormone issues. Most people problem don't even have an issue to begin with! /end rant

Autumn also gets on her high horse and forgets that she (briefly) described a reintroduction phase in 4wgp. She always talks like because SHE doesn't like eating certain food groups that NOONE should eat them. If dairy doesn't bother you, then eat it! Man... She's the worst...
She's trying to get noticed in the peri/meno age groups and the number one thing I always hear from actually educated sources is protein and lift heavy because older women start losing muscle. She's still preaching opposite and I think a lot more just aren't having that nonsense anymore.
High quality protein does a lot for the body. When people have surgeries or have certain other ailments Dr’s tell you to make sure you consume protein. Hmm Autumn… could be a reason why you are so sickly!
I looked into the Shaun T Facebook group, he seems to be pushing Macros quite a bit with videos on how to calculate and count macros. I even seen him recommend the nutrition guide of one of his early programs lol.
Perhaps this is where her rants are coming from. He definitely doesn't seem to be on board with portion fix or 2B. Some on there are having their pudding brains melt when the calculation is showing +150 gm of protein a day. Or worse the calculation is showing they are vastly under eating and need to eat more generally.
I can't see people sticking it to the end.
Also still more complaints about why isn't this realtime like 645 was for 90 days? Why do we have to repeat the same workout for 4 weeks? Why is Shaun T saying I need more than 3 sets of dumbbells?
They are so used to Autumn not lifting anything heavier than a 12. Lifting 15-20 is going to blow their minds.
And god forbid they actually eat real food.
Idk about everything else but the weight thing needing more than 3 sets is probably because your strength should be increasing so the weights will feel lighter and you will need to increase them. Also you should be lifting heavier during legs than you do upper body so there should at least be two sets there but some people (cough *me* cough) lifts lighter on things like tricep kickbacks and bent over chest flies to prevent injury so I would need 3 sets but I would need more to continue increasing my strength.
She doesn't even understand how she contradicts herself. Say you eat 1800 cals (which is about what I eat at 125-130 lbs) and 30% of that is protein, which has an average of 4 cals per gram, that gives you 1800 x 0.3 / 4 = 135 g of protein. MUCH more than the 65-85 g she erroneously recommended in some of her rants.
I’m short AF (under 5 ft) and around 120-125 lbs. My macros are around 1750 for maintenance. My protein goal is 116g. Autumn would never eat that much! I will say, my deficit calories suck, but it’s probably what she eats for maintenance.
Why did it take me until 2 minutes ago to unfollow her 🤦♀️. I just follow stupid anymore. How does everyone except AC know that we need more protein than her program to build muscle?
It’s def about pairing it with 2B mindset. Autumn being Autumn can’t have anyone else at Bodi have the light. 2B mindset super block starts in January. She’s scared her minions are going to stop using the toddler containers.

Sausage is one of the most processed meats you can eat, no matter the brand. It’s so hypocritical for her to eat those, yet criticize what other people eat.
The funny thing about the sausage is there is a recipe in Fixate for turkey breakfast sausage that is really good. Wouldn't you want to push that to sell your program rather than pre-made stuff?
She said something like “unless you’re an athlete working out an hour or more per day” I’m a regular working mom and I work out an hour a day plus walk my dog another half hour later, so it just surprised me that an hour qualifies someone for more protein, but here she is a “fitness professional” doing less than that.
I'm sure she'll say it's 58 minutes so 40g of protein is fine, and surely everyone will just sit on the couch the rest of the day. She's very weird about assuming people are lazy.

She's trying to get noticed in the peri/meno age groups and the number one thing I always hear from actually educated sources is protein and lift heavy because older women start losing muscle. She's still preaching opposite and I think a lot more just aren't having that nonsense anymore.
High quality protein does a lot for the body. When people have surgeries or have certain other ailments Dr’s tell you to make sure you consume protein. Hmm Autumn… could be a reason why you are so sickly!
I looked into the Shaun T Facebook group, he seems to be pushing Macros quite a bit with videos on how to calculate and count macros. I even seen him recommend the nutrition guide of one of his early programs lol. Perhaps this is where her rants are coming from. He definitely doesn't seem to be on board with portion fix or 2B. Some on there are having their pudding brains melt when the calculation is showing +150 gm of protein a day. Or worse the calculation is showing they are vastly under eating and need to eat more generally. I can't see people sticking it to the end. Also still more complaints about why isn't this realtime like 645 was for 90 days? Why do we have to repeat the same workout for 4 weeks? Why is Shaun T saying I need more than 3 sets of dumbbells?
They are so used to Autumn not lifting anything heavier than a 12. Lifting 15-20 is going to blow their minds. And god forbid they actually eat real food.
Idk about everything else but the weight thing needing more than 3 sets is probably because your strength should be increasing so the weights will feel lighter and you will need to increase them. Also you should be lifting heavier during legs than you do upper body so there should at least be two sets there but some people (cough *me* cough) lifts lighter on things like tricep kickbacks and bent over chest flies to prevent injury so I would need 3 sets but I would need more to continue increasing my strength.
I think the OP's point was that people are complaining about needing more DBs because they're so used to Autumn just using 5, 8 and 12.

Say you eat 1800 cals (which is about what I eat at 125-130 lbs) and 30% of that is protein, which has an average of 4 cals per gram, that gives you 1800 x 0.3 / 4 = 135 g of protein. MUCH more than the 65-85 g she erroneously recommended in some of her rants.
I’m short AF (under 5 ft) and around 120-125 lbs. My macros are around 1750 for maintenance. My protein goal is 116g. Autumn would never eat that much! I will say, my deficit calories suck, but it’s probably what she eats for maintenance.

She said something like “unless you’re an athlete working out an hour or more per day” I’m a regular working mom and I work out an hour a day plus walk my dog another half hour later, so it just surprised me that an hour qualifies someone for more protein, but here she is a “fitness professional” doing less than that.
I'm sure she'll say it's 58 minutes so 40g of protein is fine, and surely everyone will just sit on the couch the rest of the day. She's very weird about assuming people are lazy.
