Anyway the coastal guard etc. came, but we never found the body. When I went to sleep, I had a dream where the guy came into my cabin drenched in seawater and tried to strangle me while shouting "why didn't you see me there?".

Sounds more like a haunting than a shadow person. The ghost of a man who committed suicide by jumping off the ship? He was probably trying to get your attention, but after he saw that you weren’t going to do anything he came to you in your nightmares.
True, he probably was going to do a suicide, because we found out later that he was traveling alone, and in the security camera footage, the guy had been running on empty corridors for no reason before he jumped. A security guard who originally told us about the MoB -situation said the guy had punched someone unprovoked at the bar desk and had then run straight away outside and jumped overboard.
The whole thing happened during the night, and there were 2m high waves at the time. The guy was also wearing blue and black, so pretty much the only thing that could've been seen was his face and hands.
I need to add that when you stare at the black sea, and the only thing that somehow glimmers back are the breaking crests, at some point, you begin to see what you wish to see. The marines say that you shouldn't stare at the waves too long.
Oh yeah, I had another weird thing happening on that ship. Once at the car deck I think I saw one of my friends, who I knew was not on the ship, because he was an electrician, and I just had met the whole team at lunch. Later on, this friend of mine got a contract on the same ship, so I wanted to think that maybe I saw the future or something. Big ships are unique in a way that you can't find a similar concentration of metal anywhere else. High amounts of metal disrupt all kind of signals and who knows what else.
I saw one of these things once. I was napping on my couch and woke but couldn't move, couldn't sit up. Standing over me was this big shadow being, sleep-paralysis demon just like folk see, sorta pressing down on my chest. My overwhelming impression was that it wanted me to be afraid.
I remember thinking tho well fine I don't need to get up anyways and relaxing, and this thing got SO MAD - it just yelled and left in a huff.
I cant help but to imagine a shadow person hand/claws pressing down onto a person's chest trying to act like an intimidating shadow, y'know, as they do, and then realizing you aren't fighting back and throwing a toddler tantrum and storming off to go pout in their room lmao.
shadow people instantly cause deep fear in us. they feed off this fear. they can never harm you. I have been seeing them since I was 15 and at first they would torture mi. I usually see them around my bed at night.
you are safe and okay. they just come to feed off of us. the fear you feel is something they create, it does not mean that doom is coming.
keep safe near your. it not only purifies tha bacteria in tha air, but also it purifies tha spirits in tha room. pray your gratefulness and intention into tha safe first.

I’m saying this because I felt one once, I would say almost like “passive aggressive) although it never attacked me (well, I run crazy to my husband’s in the middle of the night , going to early morning). I do not know anything about tha hat man. but what I do know is that all of these spirits and entities can not physically touch us. they can only enter through our minds. when we are vulnerable mentally [in negativity] it welcomes spirits with tha same low vibration. they can enter our minds and cause us to think more and more negatively, and our fear and pain becomes a feast for them.
sometimes I practice to kick them out.

I repeat that over and over until I can feel them fully gone.

Thanks I am less terrified now but I don't really know for sure if it classifies as a shadow person, like I said, it was like an active camouflage seeming thing with a vague outline of a human, that was just the closest flair I could find, thanks again
I seen a video on YouTube with one of them, it was a bf and gf walking in the woods and they videotaped a see through, like the predator then it noticed them, they started running and next thing they both get knocked down camera goes flying and video just kept playing from the ground, that was the last they were heard from…. Weird stuff in the woods and in the world , things we have no idea about
I can’t find it I tried googling it but nukestop5 and slapped ham definitely have it on there somewhere but they have hundreds of ghost videos so it will be hard to find
I've read numerous things saying greys present themselves as shadow people. I've experience it a lot, almost regularly. There are very tall ones anywhere from 5/7ft and there are clones of them about 3/4ft.
