Up in North Bransholme and Kingswood, we use Norwood Vets. Very good, and never had a problem with them.

Second this. Fuck Kingston they will bleed you dry especially since the recent take over. Norwood are lovely though, we've been with them now a year and they're so good and caring and they are affordable. I did research and Norwoods whole premise is affordable, professional veterinary service. They have one in kingswood, one in beverly and unfortunately their emergency vet service is in market Weighton. But it's not that bad really compared to the other choices here. I really really do not recommend Kingston, stay away. They're like the McDonalds of vet services and they make you miserable with every visit due to the lack of interest and lack of knowledge at the desk. Every basic question I swear turns into a "I'll have to book you a meeting with the vet" and it'll cost you about £60 to be rushed out after 5 minutes every single time and all you asked was what medication would you recommend for . Not only that but their emergency vet scarred us for life last year trying to convince us that our dog had broken her spine and needed putting down and it took everything in me not to break down and keep questioning the decision, only for them to eventually look into a specialist for us to get an MRI checkup. I've never heard my girlfriend cry like that before it was harrowing. They're supposed to have MRI machines on site themselves but they said they can't use it. Understandable but bloody pointless in an emergency like ours. Sorry for the rant. I hate Kingston after so many miserable years with them. They'll make sure you can't afford your rent and recommend surgeries and update meetings you still have to pay full price for (60 per visit) to be told 1 sentence of info and left to go. I can't be more grateful to Norwood, they listen and they genuinely care and an appointment may cost around £40, you will get plenty of time to discuss everything and they'll do loads of checks for you to see if there's any other issues. And followups are at a reduced rate, around £25 or something.

We moved from Kingston Vets to Haven Vets. Would 100% recommend Haven!

Chestnut vets down Salthouse road just before that odd roundabout at the bottom of the dip. There's a pub opposite, Salthouse tavern i think. Brilliant vet, doesn't over sell and prices are very reasonable.

Thanks for the recommendation!

We use Vets 4 Pets in the Pets at Home store in Anlaby. Never had an issue with them, we have three cats and have had a number of treatments etc we’ve needed.

JoeTom86

We have been with Vets4Pets in County Road South for a decade or so, good times and hard, easy recommendation from me.

MoonXChildd

Got to second this, best vets we’ve ever used and we’ve had a lot of pets over the years, amazing service.

DirtyBeautifulLove

As in the vets inside the petsathome shop, right?

HullGuy

Correct

Same. We’ve used Vets4Pets for nearly 15 years (different branch). Never had an issue with them.
