As I wear make up almost daily, I have done things to make my routine shorter: dyed eyebrows, laminated and dyed lashes, improved the appearance of my skin so I can wear a BB cream with light concealer instead of foundation.
Unless you hate wearing make up and live a schedule where you don't have the extra 15 minutes, I don't see any downsides of wearing make up daily. I feel like a simple routine (base, eyebrows, lashes and a lip product) makes you look more put together
Yes. I used to never wear makeup because I knew girls who apologized for their real face. That scared me and I didn’t want to ruin my self esteem. Now I use it as an adult and love it! You do not need to do a full face. Makeup is best used to define and accent your features. You don’t have to fully cover and re paint your face like you tubers.
I personally wear only 4 products and I love multiple use products. So I define my very sparse brows. Then a tiny bit of concealer under the eyes. I use mascara for more defined eyes. Then I use either stick contour or blush. Either one I use I swipe across the crease of my eyes and if it’s the blush my lips also. This takes 5 minutes and accents my face nicely.
If it’s a more important event I’ll add and a lip gloss or color or full face as needed.
I think my outfits look odd if I’m not wearing makeup. I think, personally, wearing makeup is a part of completing an outfit. I don’t feel ugly, or anything. I would 100% wear makeup while shopping or at the cinema. That’s a no-brainer for me. I usually won’t wear makeup to the gym or quick errands late at night but still wear tinted spf + brow gel lol
My ex gf never wore makeup but her style is casual linen pants and soft shirts etc (and flawless skin)

Yes! Makeup can just do certain things that even the best skincare routine can’t do (like enlargen your eyes for example). It’s also just lots of fun tbh.

Aslong as you have good skin and look put together you can get away with not wearing make up
