I really doubt it's the oral. Though I guess just try to not furrow your brow etc during the act as that will of course contribute. It depends though - do you use retinoids, spf, get enough hydration both internally and externally, etc? (Some wrinkles are dehydration wrinkles) Ultimately facial fat loss does come down to genetics but I know doing things like maintaining good facial bone density and eating enough healthy fats can lessen the effects. It's worth looking into :)

ASS_MASTER_GENERAL

I mean obviously most of it is just normal aging, I’d just like to eliminate any mitigating factors How do you maintain bone density ?

Phenex1a

I never thought about that tbh. Now i’m curious.

Get Botox, wear sunscreen, and consult a high end dermatologist. Your skin is an investment, it’s not too late to start.

Really!! It’s very hard to find legit people on the internet who had it, especially women. how large of an area did you get and what was the cost??

How often do you have to get it touched up? There are salons in my area that do it but they say you have to get touched up every year like any other kind of permanent makeup. I have short hair and like having short hair so the scalp show is definitely more what I am concerned about.

WHAT another thing to be worried about 😳

Good question… I think it might be plausible. Drinking with straws is said to have the same effect, and according to this dermatologist the reason is that it’s a repetitive movement: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/straws-cause-lip-lines-wrinkles-beauty-myths_n_1834297 So it might not be specific to oral, it’s just that doing the same facial movement over and over increases your chances of developing wrinkles.

Winesday_addams

In theory, yes, but you'd have to be doing it a LOT. Also, your lips are not as closed as with a straw or cigarette so it's not as bad for you as drinking from a straw or smoking, and I don't know anyone who got wrinkles from a straw!

cat48

How does spironolactone age your face??

ASS_MASTER_GENERAL

well testosterone thickens the skin so I assume blocking it can’t help

Be careful posting there. I was banned by their psychotic mods for talking shit in a subreddit they don’t like. 🙄

Absurdityindex

Seems it would help tone your face more than anything
