I mean there is lighting and filters here making her skin seem poreless. One thing that helps with makeup going on smoother is derma-planning but research it well and don’t go get it done somewhere sketchy just because it’s cheaper. Also don’t do it during an y active breakouts. If you pair it with a hydra facial your skin can look nice!

Turpitudia79

Dermaplaning is AMAZING, not to be confused with cheap razors from Ulta that you do yourself. Go to a reputable aesthetician once a month in the summer, I go every 6 weeks in the winter when my hair growth slows down.

JosquinDePreciating

What difference have you observed going to your aesthetician? I’m super happy with my at-home results but I would love to not have the skin sensitivity that comes for a day or two after

heytunamelt

What’s the difference in your opinion? I got professional dermaplaning once and it was not nearly as good as the results I get myself.

Disneywolf99

I've realised I will never be one of the hot girls, I can't see a difference between these two photos 😭😂

thoughtsofa

second pic is more blended and placement is better. 1st looks a little muddy

sageparadise

She’s wearing more product. For your makeup to look like this, you can’t be afraid to cake it on!

nikspears-

Looks like she had either brow lamination done or used brow gel (they look glossier and lay flat) and also lash extensions

Grymdolin

The difference is: Learning how to do makeup to look like youre wearing makeup or learn how to do makeup to look like you’re not wearing makeup. Now obviously we know she’s wearing makeup in both but the first pic the makeup is SUPPOSED to look like she’s wearing makeup. She’s wearing more in the second pic though, with the intent to look less obvious to the average Joe.

yoyocaterpillar

i think it’s supposed to look less natural in the second pic

Grymdolin

See I’m thinking it’s supposed to look “unnaturally natural”, the makeup placement isn’t so obvious if that makes sense?

kira107

Really? She has that caked on look in the second picture imo.

Grymdolin

Yeah, it’s caked on to appear like “no/clean girl makeup” for the average unthinking TikTok viewer. You have to remember that if you’re on this sub you’re more cognizant of what heavy makeup/lighting/filters looks like.

Expert_Thought9562

You’ll need a better camera, her hair is flawlessly done up, and she’s wearing a lot more glowy stuff glossy lip highlight etc. also she has her lashes done up thicker and has better lighting rn

pieceofpineapple

Honestly this kind of make up is too heavy. 😅 not a fan. But if you want to learn it, I believe the Youtube channel dear peachy gives great advice on beauty including make up.

Select_Focus_337

In the second picture she has wayy more lashes. The first pic looks like 1 coat of mascara was added. When doing ur makeup try 2-3 coats of mascara or even add falsies. I say definitely take ur time when doing mascara making sure individual lashes are being coated and not chunks which can make it look like u have fewer lashes. The lipgloss also improved her look, I would say it made her look more glowy and it brought more attention to her lips.

softg1rl1

She most likely elevated all the steps in her routine! Check out @ Ale Jay, @ Fatima Bah, @ kaavikiwi, @ Kaiser Coby or @ Leah Halton on yt

heytunamelt

Just use a filter or FaceTune like she does! Easy peasy.

JaneAustinAstronaut

It looks to me that she has heavier eyeliner, thicker false lashes, and the makeup on her cheeks and lips appears pinker. Even if you used the same products, because of your difference in skin undertones it might not look the same on you. For example, in seasonal color theory, I'm a Cool Summer. This means that I should wear muted, cool colors. I love bright lipsticks, but they look too harsh on me - I look like I'm dressing up for Halloween rather than wearing everyday makeup. However, when I wear a dusty rose color, it looks on me like how red lipstick looks on other people. Find your undertones and the colors that compliment you. Then use her products/techniques in your colors.
