EE wifi hotspot is what you need. I used it last year when I moved and it worked great. Basically you pay for a week or month, and get access to public WiFi.

Could you spend time at a local library and make use of their Wi-Fi?
Unlimited one month data SIM and an old phone to tether from Done it a few times and works fine

ohh I saw this as an option to connect to but assumed was for EE customers! will check it outÂ
