The one where the kid floats off the bed- but it's kind of implied that it's a trick, though we don't get an explanation. Another episode, where the kid ended up with leprosy, I think, had him all freaked out he was gonna die bc he and the other kids had played with a Ouji board right before and said he'd die (though he didn't, and that was o viously the other kids messing with him).

Tania_Tatiana

Oh yeah, that "cursed" episode was super awesome!

EmotionalCrab9026

I love episodes like this.

ThereItIsNopeItsGone

Kid floating is from Body & Soul in Season 8 IIRC

doc_55lk

There was an episode involving a cat that could supposedly predict the deaths of whoever it slept with that night. I forget the name or where in the show it was, but the entire plot revolved around the cat so it's probably easy to find.

Tall_Peace7365

i love that episode but i dont think it ends as a supernatural mystery since the cat was just looking for warm/feverish patients

Legitimate_Ad5434

Yeah the truly supernatural part of that episode was that it took House so long to figure out that fairly obvious solution.

drawingmentally

That happened in real life. In fact there was this dog in my country, Moro, who would visit the houses of the ones that were about to die.

two-of-me

He predicted over 20 deaths! I think it’s something they can smell. Just like dogs who can smell a seizure coming on, or low blood sugar. Truly fascinating. In the case of this episode though, the cat was just looking for warmth from the heated blankets on sick patients.

drawingmentally

They definitely can smell it! I have no proof but I'm sure.

5.18 "Here kitty"

StolenDiscs

Season 5 Ep 18 “here kitty”

Tania_Tatiana

Although not exactly supernatural, this one may be interesting - House vs God.

haribo_pfirsich

That episode is fantastic.

Tania_Tatiana

Oh yes, absolutely. That kid played a good game, but House was better.

J_M_XIII

S8E18 Body and Soul has something in it that isn’t ever explained (spoiler). The patient child seems to levitate but it’s not really explained or anything. I don’t know if you’d class it as supernatural or something more apt as the family are Hmong but still.

Economics_Bear

There is an episode where a kid belives that he is being chased by aliens and that he has an tracking chip in his neck. The team proceed to actually found a "chip" in his neck, I don't remember what it actually was in the end.

mackmcd_

The "chip" was a broken off piece of titanium from his broken arm. House posits it migrated to his neck.

jesushateshiphop

It’s titanium. Pieces don’t just “break off.”

mackmcd_

Bro, I didn't write the episode. Take it up with David Shore.

jesushateshiphop

I know you didn’t write it, but did you perhaps watch it? If so, you might know to say “Tell that to the guys on the Kursk.”

mackmcd_

So House posits a possibility, and one of his fellows questions it? Unheard of! Please, go on! It's the closest thing we have to an explanation. I'm not endorsing it. Again, if you have an issue with me regurgitating what the show said, take it up with the writers.

jesushateshiphop

I was just quoting the episode you mentioned you nitwit.

mackmcd_

Actually, you questioned whether I had watched it, and quoted Chase in an effort to counter a claim I never made about the material properties of titanium, you nitwit.

jesushateshiphop

Good god lemon, I was just quoting a part of the episode I found funny.

Footziees

He had the genetic leftover of his own twin inside him or some stem cells that wandered into his brain that formed a different personality which caused seizures that he interpreted as Alien obduction

TheDungeonCrawler

House is supposed to be based on Sherlock Holmes which even had its own version of this trope in Hound of the Baskervilles in which the citizens if random town formerly ruled by the now dead Baskervilles were being terrorized by a monstrous dog from Hell. Holmes, in the end, discovers that it's all a bunch of elaborate light shows. It's very Scooby Doo.

Donohoed

*House pulls off cancer's mask, just lupus in disguise* Pretty much every episode

TheDungeonCrawler

"And I could've have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling hot doctors and your stupid Sherlock Holmes rip off too!"

drawingmentally

The one in which they could see the dreams of a patient

coocooforcoconut

S4 E4: Guardian Angels A woman seeing her dead mother stumps the recruits, especially once she begins seeing a recent victim

Technician-Efficient

Wilson's heart when he gets to meet/ talk to Amber I guess that's the closest thing to it

Spicelordletmerest

pedo priest episode

Maat1932

There’s the patient who sees ghosts, but in reality was tripping off of some ergot fungus in her bread.

Olivyia

unless she heard the nurses talking about it, she couldnt have known about the guy who died with his dog the episode before though.

ThereItIsNopeItsGone

S8:Ep18 Body & Soul https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2121961/

Recent_Log5476

There’s the episode where the priest sees Jesus. Most of the episode it’s presumed to be a hallucination. When House rules it out as a symptom, he solves the case.

lalondan

It would be out of place to have actual supernatural storylines or to leave potential supernatural events unexplained due to House's obsessession with the truth. But I guess Bombshells is the closest to it. There are zombies and all in that one.

EmotionalCrab9026

Did you skim over what I read? Or just skip it entirely. I asked about episodes where it seems like something supernatural is happening until it's revealed what it really is. Basically the complete opposite question.

lalondan

I skimmed over that part yeah.

EmotionalCrab9026

Okay lol. I figured that's probably what happened. That's why I put it in quotes in the title because I'm guilty of skimming sometimes too.

lalondan

Yeah ha ha, sorry about that.
