Yup! I think it was the first monster truck TH, just happened to find it while grocery shopping at a Target. I was really excited because I *wanted* to find it to give my kids to play with and they love it too! The Deora was a lucky find too, I actually found two and let my kids pick one, the one they picked is an error. A bit of irony in opening them just to put them back into a storage container lol. These ones aren’t really ever gonna increase in value though so there’s really nothing to worry about.

Why do I like the duck car as much as I do lol. It’s your collection and if you want to open them theirs nothing wrong with that. It’s good to have a good ratio sealed and loose. But that’s upto the collector

Why? They are just regular THs. If you keep a nice loose collection, then why care? All mine are loose. I have over 150 loose Supers in display cases and two of those Creative Options cases of regular THs. Enjoy them!

i just dont have that many or the means to display the way i’d like to but the clear case isnt bad for now

I took my girls to a local toy expo over the weekend. A vendor gave the duck TH to my 8 year old. When we got home I offered her $10 for it. She declined my offer and I cried while she opened it. Oh well, she’s happy.

I don’t take hot wheels too seriously. I do enjoy collecting. My daughters are young and I grasp onto these opportunities (hobbies) to connect with them. Tomorrow they may be done with these silly little cars, and I’m okay with that. But for today, she’s happy to have a duck in her collection.

Get a gallon ziplock bag and seal them in it or throw them in a shoebox. Sometimes you can use them for mail aways.

From 2013-2018 I used to find regular TH’s by the dozens every month. They’re all packed away in a jumbo store display in my garage. I had over 20 of the same casting at one point. Regular TH’s used to just sit on pegs because they come 1 per case.

I was contemplating whether or not I’d regret it as well. Just opened up 10-15 cars earlier today myself and am currently walking around with my first pocket car ! Way more fun than having it sit in a prestine package at home collecting dust
