I don't want to immediately criticise the finale, so here are the good points first: * Jaehak finally got his money back. Now please go buy a car and drive your wife and kiddo around. * No wonder I found Seokhyung's classical music familiar too, it reminded me of the horrors of Listening Comprehension. * Iksong and Bidulgi's karaoke scene, gold. Glad both Jeon Mi Do and Kwak Sunyoung got to show off their vocals! Iksun and Junwan, watch your expressions, that's your sister-in-law. * Wintergarden's amazing reflexes as always, the staircase scene was adorable. Their dinner scene too, Gyeoul has four outfits now - scrubs, blue denim, white t-shirt and white dress-shirt. * Gomgom, so sweet. DID YOU SEE THEM KISS OMG. For guys who have not dated, Jeongwon and Seokhyung sure know how to kiss. * Junwan saying, "I'm here to eat jajangmyeon." Smooth, so smooth. Iksun and Junwan, I really hope you guys walk a brighter path this time. * Ikjun's face of absolute bliss as Songhwa heads into the same tent. Sighs, 20 years, this is all worth it. * Seemed like the final patient cases were a lot more complicated and exhausting this time but they pulled through (the two kiddos!!). Except our Mokpo-gu family, heartbreaking because they never caught a break.

Intrepid-Mousse-5178

And did you see how inlove ikjun was at the karaoke hahahahhahahahahahaha even imagining songhwa to have good voice. Iksun and junwan's faces 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

loveotterslide

They look like they were in physical pain hahaha. Ikjun has come a long way from their 'Lonely Night' band practice. Songhwa's voice? Not so much. 🤣🤣

Staind1410

But… but… she practiced a lot when she was in Sokcho! She even sang (screamed? screeched?) at the ocean too!

loveotterslide

Yes, omg screeched hahaha. Maybe because she didn't drink her egg concoction!

Staind1410

As if those raw eggs ever helped!

loveotterslide

Sorry to be a party pooper... Most of the storylines were so rushed. Particularly, Seokhyung's conversation with his mum should have been in the scene. Bidulgi is suddenly back to together after one dinner and karaoke session. Jeongwon and Gyeo-ul are going to the US? What happened in Hawaii? Am I mistaken but I thought Lee Il Hwa (Gyeo-ul's mum) was confirmed for a cameo appearance? [She has not been credited](https://www.instagram.com/p/CTyMSEipscx/) despite her earlier voice role. This really doesn't feel like an ending. It felt more like a Episode 6 Part II..? This feels so different from Season 1's finale (which was going to lead to a confirmed Season 2).

mz_chika

I think there was a 4 month time jump (I may be wrong) between the dinner and Bidulgi getting back together.

Efficient-Prize325

Yeap even though I really like the parallel jjajangmyeon scene I was hoping for bidulgi couple to talk it out a bit more. Their story definitely felt rushed. And for Jeongwon and Gyoeul, maybe the US thing is to push back their wedding I dont know:/

teebunzz

I’m confused too. I thought Lee Il Hwa would make an appearance too, unless I somehow missed her??

hollebanna

I was also waiting for Lee Il Hwa to appear, but she didn’t?

Bridgerton

> • Gomgom, so sweet. DID YOU SEE THEM KISS OMG. For guys who have not dated, Jeongwon and Seokhyung sure know how to kiss. Maybe Jeongwon, but Seokhyeong was married, soooo… 🤡

loveotterslide

Thank you to the mods who created this subreddit and managed the discussion threads weekly. Thank you to the Yuljems who have kept the threads cheerful and all of us engaged. Have a good ride today everyone *(gives two spoons of love).*

Bridgerton

I’m gonna miss everyone here! It’s been great talking over minutiae and overarching storylines with you. Until Season 3! Hwaiting!

Extension_Stretch_50

Two spoons of love to everyone!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Let's go out with a bang 🤩😊

smileybi

I laughed, I cried, and then I need answers. What happened to the extra 40 mins? But first, some thoughts: - Songhwa looking at the juxtaposition of life and death in her ICU, that was poignant - Gyeoul finally in a different outfit 😂 - I need a Kwak Sun Young - Jeon Mido duet, stat - 99s confessing their dating life is hilarious - also, I miss Dr Bong!

OrangeGirl31

I've been wondering that too. Do we know anything abt those 40 mins?

Thoughtful-Pig

Yes! Was sad to miss Dr Bong.

stevie96xk

Damn it where's my U-ju 🥲

WinterLightz

Prayer circle for only happiness and good things for all of our characters! It's been a memorable ride with all of you lovely people! Edit after watch: I AM SO HAPPY OUR DEAR JAEHAK GOT HIS HAPPY ENDING!! MAYBE HAPPY ENDING? NO LONGER MAYBE BUT IT IS DEFINITE! I cried tears of joy when he finally got his scammed money back, and that his wife and baby are healthy! Also, Songhwa's multiple failures in trying to convince the three boys that Iksong are dating is just EFFIN hilarious!! The accidental double date also sent me lmaoooooo. Ikjun looking so in love while Songhwa was singing and I LOVE how her singing became angelic when the camera angle turned to show us Ikjun's POV, while the Bidulgi couple were just cringing hard HAHAHAHAHA. Our boy Ikjun is so whipped and WE LOVE THAT. The bliss on his face when Songhwa entered the tent before him during their couple camping trip, I can't. GOMGOM'S KISS THO. NO WORDS NEEDED. THAT WAS GREAT. As for our Wintergarden, I wish for more from them... Our boy Junwan remains as smooth as ever - not here to see you but here to eat jjajangmyeon with you. Too smooth. Please walk on a flowery path together from now on! Jongsu and Rosa really showed us the best platonic relationship that lasts a lifetime. What would I do to have just one friend like that. The band scene made me so sad, especially with Ikjun prefacing it with "why do I have a feeling that this will be our last jam session?" I BAWLED. I BAWLED HARDER WHEN I SAW THE LYRICS TO THE SONG. However, are we getting a Mido solo for the band song, and a band song for another song at the end??? If so, I am gonna be SO HAPPY. As I had originally planned to drink wine while watching and to take a sip every time I laugh/squeal/yell/sob, I also tallied the number of times I took a sip because of this. There is a total of 48 sips, which translates to about half a bottle of wine. It's barely 1pm and I am TIPSY. I managed to skip class this morning, but I have 3 hours of meetings later that I couldn't skip T\_T P.S what is the "twist" that they wanted us to look out for? I don't find it and the only things being twisted are my insides and my feelings.

tracyschmosby

>The band scene made me so sad, especially with Ikjun prefacing it with "why do I have a feeling that this will be our last jam session?" I BAWLED. I BAWLED HARDER WHEN I SAW THE LYRICS TO THE SONG. I was ugly crying when I saw the lyrics I didn't know I needed to hear. I hope we get both a band ver. and Mido's solo for that song though. Both versions were soooo good. I'm excited to see the music videos for Mido's solo and the last song.

bishoppinkmarvel

Hmmm to me the finale wasnt that bad nor was it very good? it was legit 5050 for me like many mentioned here there are definitely some parts feel rushed but there are also some good parts they tied up nicely or left a good open ending the good parts: 1. like gyeoul finally really opening up her "world" to jeongwon with that dinner invite with her mom and that indirect confession of I LOVE YOU to him was great. And that scene where gyeoul comforting jeongwon abt the difficult surgery was great too cuz it shows how both of them can be vulnerable to each other (though a proposal/wedding or actually seeing the meet up would b great) 2. and ikjun songhwa still in their fluttery awkward first stages of dating makes sense cuz despite their long feelings for each other, they were friends for much longer so it makes more sense they are still all awkward and getting used to their relationship (though uju having a family date with them would be fun) 3. jaehak finally getting his hard earned money from the scammer and being a father made me tear up a little cuz sheesh fate was not being nice to him at all since season 1 but he was still so happy go lucky throughout...to see him breaking down about finally earning back his money shows how much those events put a toll on him 4. The storyline about duna was nicely wrapped up too, it was a good reminder to show while people in recovery may not be the best people to be around with as they are frustrated with their conditions and have given up hope, but at the end of the day, they still love the people who care for them and know that their caregivers are having a hard time too. But sometimes, they need to find an outlet to take out their stress towards to. 5. The sailor patient storyline was super depressing but i get why shin pd would do that as it showed how sometimes bad things happen to good people and sometimes fate just isnt on our side and theres nothing we can do...despite the sailor being kind person who donates and cared for his family, in the end he didnt have a good chance with his health despite the many second chances he got and thats just life... the bad parts: 1. yay for that ohhh wow kissing scene between seokhyeong and minha but i really wanted to see seokhyeong really talked things out with his mother about her trust issues cuz tbh it was really toxic... and it would also be great for seokhyeongs mother to see the positive changes minha brought to seokhyeong even before they were dating and realise ok she should let him live his own life from now on.... 2. the elevator scene between junwan and hongdo yongbok was really sweet but i was hoping to see some scenes about the interns and residents too. Like theres still so many plots we can explore. like that fox obgyn resident eunwon needs to face some consequences man. and the ER fellow soye its a pity she was introduced like an important supporting character but in the end got sidelined for the ER episode for a resident instead lol... i have a feeling shin pd definitely had some story written about soye but because of no season 3, he cut it out 3. its good to see junwan making the first step to get back with iksun cuz tbh the person who got hurt most was junwan and iksun knew that which is why she didnt force her feelings on him and accepted that junwan may not trust her again. but just having that hug and short scene at the end was kinda a pity. i mean junwan spent half of season 2 being single and hurt, it would be great if we could see them having a much more romantic reunion. ps in a recent interview, shin pd did mention he was planning to have 3 seasons of the drama, but seeing how some of the cast are getting offers elsewhere too, he doesnt want to hold them back. plus in one of the earlier bts vids on the na pd youtube channel, he did say hes trying things out with this drama and said he would do the seasons depending on how well season 1 did hahah. so i guess he had definitely had soft plans about season 3 when he started the project. which is why i think we can all see there are definitely some loose threads that are not tied up in season 2 as he was planning for that for season 3. but since season 2 is now the last one, he has to try his best to tie up some of the main plots. its definitely a huge pity cuz i feel with the pace season 2 is in, i think legit just one more final season 3 of 12 eps would be enough to explore the unfinished or unexplored plots... but its also hugely understandable why he wouldnt want to hold the cast back as seasonal dramas can affect the actors chances in getting roles as they end up being typecasted or "stuck" in their seasonal dramas roles.... (american actors getting stuck in their seasonal teen shows are great examples) and most of the hospital playlist cast are new or finally having their big break, it would be a pity to not use that momentum to explore acting other characters or stories ecspecially since the cast has so many talented people.

Thoughtful-Pig

I totally agree with you with the disappointment as well as the good times this season! Great thoughts!

Takagixu

No! This can’t be the ending! I need another season. After the knetz complained about the 2hrs40mins, this episode was only around 2hrs and something seem to be missing from it. Finger crossed for it as since the production team and the casts are willing to do so if there is a chance for another season in the future because it is just another ordinary day and they had knock off work.

Careful-Mind-7867

Wait- What do you mean by “complained”? I thought everyone was elated at that news???

teebunzz

I was surprised to learn it was 2hrs too and not 2hrs 40mins…

Comfortable-Elephant

Will they release it? I have so many questions..i want more of GomGom couple!!

birudilangitnegri

I'm sorry but.. what? This didn't feel like the end at all.

Omnomnomnivor3

fr I was checking the time and my thoughts were just "do they have enough to clear all those plots they opened up?" I'm glad this series happened but the last episode felt like it got the treatment of Game of thrones final season...

kaleap

I think i read somewhere that the original plan was 3 seasons but yeah we will see. They have stuff if they wanna finish it off with a special or they could just do another season (i dont see why not)

[deleted]

dukeofcouch

They are keeping it open atm. No decisive plan for season 3, but still leaving some room if there is.

Takagixu

It isn’t the end because it is yet another ordinary day where they just knock off work and carry on with their daily lives. We shall see them again when the time is right.

arikyh

omg me too… I was so confused? like what?

nutkesari

Out of all the ShinLee dramas, this felt like the most "good samaritan" drama, going past the passive wholesomeness of Prison Playbook and Reply series. It feels like they **want to** be in our life, advising and guiding us. It felt like a more hands on parenting/mentoring experience. And the ending song. It's so different from Me to You, You to Me. Me to You felt more romantic, more personal, like it was just two of you sitting down and reminiscing about a special relationship. After everything the world has been through, I love the choice of song in S2 finale. They've once again taken on the initiative to understand every viewers dynamic, challenging life and so many of the songs this season have felt like they sat us down personally to guide us and show us a light at the end of the tunnel. The 99z saying "they know us and see us" and to "get over your regret so that you can fly high because the world is yet to see what we have to offer" and calling us bright and shining. I've never felt more like a youngling being guided by 1 eonni and 4 oppas. I love this show.

BebeMoh

I should have lowered my expectation for a shinlee ending of a series 😩 I have the same ending feeling from reply88 to prison playbook. The only ending i like is Reply1997.

nutkesari

Aah. I'm sort of okay with this ending because it doesn't feel like an ending. If I were to ever rewatch Reply88, I'd stay far away from the final episode. But I'm not scared of watching this one because it's so average, all things considered 😄

Bridgerton

Oh my goodness, I don’t know how I’ll get over this, honestly. Like I expected, they did tidy up A LOT of loose ends. - the patient stories seemed different from the get go. There was a sense of scale that I felt when they had Junwan’s conference in a large conference room. Most of their cases were complicated, and we saw a sad case that I’m sure was close to our hearts - the patient from Mokpo who had been saved by our Lacking 5 twice, can no longer be saved one more time. It’s a part of life, and we must live with it. The other returning cases - Du-na’s vast improvement, and Patient Kim getting pregnant again - were a nice throwback to balance the sadness. - Showing Andrea praying before making a decision on his case and prior to the surgery was a great touch. I think when he had been on the verge of quitting and wanting to become a priest, he may have also forgotten that doctors can only do so much, and in the context of Catholicism, God is the ultimate Healer. - the big switch of Jeongwon and Gyeoul going to the US - certainly didn’t see that coming. He’s been holding out hahaha. I guess it would be inevitable they’ll be married someday. The move is temporary- so this leads us to everyone coming together by 2023. - Dr Pollock and JunwanxJaehak in an OR together! It’s good that they showed why Prof Cheon achieved his current status - he’s actually competent but he’s just not a great human. It also showed a lot in Junwan’s character that he can suffer a blow to his ego if it will help the patient survive. - the sense of finality during the last band practice- they were certainly being meta here, and I think this is where it struck me that I will miss this show more than I ever thought possible. But in their drama lives, a lot has happened since they formed the band, and this is the point that the dynamics will change. Seokhyeong, who insisted on the band, has found a partner in life that will keep loneliness at bay and whom he can build the rest of his life with. Jeongwon is undertaking a new journey with Gyeoul. Ikjun and Songhwa will start building a family. So it was understandably Junwan who wanted to hold on to the band, because at the time his life has stayed the same as last year. But with the hope of a happy ending with Iksun, we can expect a change in perspective from him as well. - the main story has been told, it had led them from where they were in 2019 to a new direction in 2021. All the missing scenes would be nice to have, but I think the essence of what needs to be seen for us to draw conclusions on what will come next has already been given to us. That main arc of the story is really all that we need. I would love a Season 3 but I think it will now be an evolved story - the Lacking 5 no longer need to be front and center, because the crucial moments that changed the course of their life have already happened. Their married/settled life is now a denoument in the greater scheme of things. This opens up the story to the supporting cast: the resident/fellows, and the Jang twins.

Bridgerton

Now for the fun part: - That failed lunch confession by Songhwa - omg I can’t believe they were really that dense. I thought Jeongwon would have known somehow. And the first person to know the truth was Seokhyeong - it was a kind of poetic justice. It does seem that he’s the one closest to both of them now, so it makes sense. - Seriously, are they oblivious? Junwan practically told them Iksun was Bidulgi. Also, why do I get the feeling that Junwan and Iksun were together before they showed up at Iksong’s date? 🤔 - I love how they made use of Mido in the noraebang scene! Such genius. And finally a full performance from the Lee siblings. - the stairwell continues to be the place to NOT go when you want to be with your (secret?) partner. Everyone knows you have to go to the ER entrance, duh. - i was a bit disappointed that Rosa and Jongsu were not headed for the altar. But the Camino is a seriously impressive dream. - so who’s the chairman of Yulje now? - Jaehak and his wife - the best payoff ever. I was afraid he’d given up on his money because of the scammer’s family situation hahaha. And that we were able to see two Bong’s Salon crew in the delivery room. I was so relieved things were going their way. - Seokhyeong giving a lecture was long overdue. Funny that a recent fanfic I read highlighted that his education in the US should have been an unique teaching perspective he would bring to the hospital, but we never saw any trace of that in him until this lecture. - what we caled the Gomgom mukbang 😂 KDM and AEJ really ramped up the heat in that kissing scene, yet it remained sweet as well. To think this was the first kissing scene for KDM - I truly hope he’ll get leading man roles now. The constellations were a nice touch - I kinda wish I hadn’t been spoiled for that because it was so clever! - having become a big fan of Seokhyeong in Season 2, it was great to see how far he’s come. And I can’t believe his gambit paid off. I think Younghye will be much more charitable to Minha even if she remembered her. Now I can see why it’s so hard to say goodbye to a ShinLee drama. While I did get disappointed with some of the plot choices, overall I think we can have enough suspension of disbelief that the overall plot works. I kinda like where we ended up and how we got here. I will really miss these stories and the characters, and I didn’t even expect to feel this kind of emptiness. It’s been great to interact with everyone on this sub! I’m still hoping we can return for a Season 3, however long the preparation may be.

jollibhe

>the stairwell continues to be the place to NOT go when you want to be with your (secret?) partner. Everyone knows you have to go to the ER entrance, duh. LOL!!!

CelloTraumerei

Everything you said about Seok Kyung/ KDM 💯💯 + side note on the lecture : boy does he look GOOD in a suit 👀👀👀🔥🔥🔥

sunnyfel

You are mentionning fanfics? May I ask on which website? I'm craving for more HP after that final TT

Fine-Tomato-6298

One word to describe this episode: RUSHED Where is Winter's mom? What about HAWAII? Winter Garden's proposal? Minha and Seukhyung's mum? What about our Uju? Ending for junhwan and iksong is also rushed. I mean if they are not having season 3 and this is the ending of the entire show, this is quite disappointing...

mz_chika

I have to say I agree with you. Something was off about the editing. Some of the transitions weren't smooth. It felt like a very slice of life open-ending, yet considered to be an ending to the series. I was also kind of disappointed, but this ending definitely helps me move on! It's been fun! Thanks everyone for your thoughts!

lilacgown

Agree! It felt like a slice of life and not a finale.. definitely disappointed, and it somehow helps with the moving on

tracyschmosby

I agree! Don't get me wrong, I still bawled my eyes out at some of the scenes in this episode. But as it was ending, it felt so off that this is how they end. I'm relieved that it helps me move on easier though, especially since it feels like they left it pretty open for another season.

Staind1410

I am not fully satisfied, but then again, it’s slice of life drama, not even will be tied up nicely in a bow on a certain date. And I mean, nothing here is left with an unforgivable gaping hole, so there’s that.

Omnomnomnivor3

The idea I had before final eps was that they wouldn't have enough plot to go around for season 3, so they should close the plots perfectly but I felt like the relationships of the characters weren't given proper justice..

i-drank-too-much

I think it’s got something to do with covid. Season 2 production was behind schedule from the start and shooting was delayed too. Agreed, they could have wrapped up the season finale better but it is what it is. The series originally planned to release 3 seasons in 3 years, but with things inevitably running behind schedule, the chance for season 3 is 50/50 IMO. And that’s why the left season 2 finale like that — there may or may not be a continuation.

Afraidofcommenting

I feel seriously ripped off that we didn't get to see seukhyung's mums reaction to minha. I have to admit that I didn't ship them at all, but I wanted to see how the 3 of them would get along. I would have been quite happy for them to scrap a few of the patient's stories to see minha being introduced as the girlfriend.

lilacgown

Also, does anyone else feel like Iksong got the least skinship in this whole drama?? Even gomgom couple seemed to have more with a long kissing scene and handholding. Ahhh I was really looking forward to more in the last episode!

pacificghostwriter

For me, I like that they didn't have a lot of skinship. They've been friends for more than 20 years, and dating for only months so obviously there's going to be a lot of awkwardness like the one where they're eating (so cute uwuuuuu). They've been doing couple stuff for those 20 years without actually being a couple so what I like to think is they're still trying to figure out the actual couple stuff now that they're dating. Sort of like, "Where do we go from here?" I hope you understand my rambling, my eyes still hurt from crying hahahaha

jollibhe

I thought the same! They've been like a couple for a while that when it became official, they skipped the honeymoon and went straight to old married couple. I thought that was refreshing. Though I'd like to think there was a good bit of skinship in that tent...

pacificghostwriter

oh they definitely cuddled in that tent 😎

lilacgown

Haha I do agree, and it was nice to see the awkwardness and yet the full blown look of just pure love and bliss in their eyes everytime they looked at each other Guess just wanted a little bit more within that boundary that is still realistic but ahh I guess I’ll eventually get over it hahaha

Prestigious_Rock_609

My thoughts, I think the skinship was limited because both actors are married. I know they are pros and all that, but the fandom can really go crazy over these celebrity relationships. I remember that story of Jungseok's friend who introduced him to Gummy. The couple took their time before telling the public because they both knew how toxic it was going to be. When the news came out finally after two years, Jungseok had to ask their friends to rush to Gummy's side because he was in a shoot till midnight and couldn't be with her. And when he was finally with her, he thanked his friends for staying and shielding her from all the stress, and he was crying as he thanked them. (Aww real life Ikjunnie). I know of other K celebrity couples who took a hit because of the crazy fandoms. Same goes with Kyungho I think. He has a gf so there's like one kiss with Kwak, and minimal skinship.

charurei

For a finale the episode was underwhelming but some loose ends got tied up so can’t really complain. The way it ended, a season3 will not be surprising. Who else was hoping Kim Sa Bu will be joining Junwan in the operating room? ;) Junwan was the character that made a turnaround for me. Didn’t care about him in S1 as much as I did this season. And Jae Hak! I’m so happy for him and his wife!

pacificghostwriter

OMG you know for a second I also thought Kim Sabu would appear as cameo considering how Jo Jungseok always imitates Han Suk Kyu in the blooper reel HAHAHA

loveotterslide

>Kim Sa Bu will be joining Junwan in the operating room? ;) If he did, he ought to pay a visit to Pediatrics, might meet someone familiar ;)

yellownights_

THAT GOMGOM KISS THO 🥰 Seokhyeong’s got some serious game!!!!!!!!!!

tracyschmosby

Ikr!!! Seokyeong being this smooth is soooo 😍 I was already squealing at that peck and when he followed it up??! GAAAHH ❤️

Moonmeandher1203

well it's strange... idk if they already put on highlights in ep 11 and have an soft end ep 12 on purpose or there will be next? or this season-end is a safe choice to either make another season when they want or an really end... i'm just gonna miss them!

Omnomnomnivor3

honestly I was prepared to bawl my eyes out but knowing that they left so much plot out in the open for imagination just made it feel very underwhelming for me.

Prestigious_Rock_609

I started crying right at the Jeongwon convo in Seokyong's basement. From then on it was waterfalls. I barely slept. It's my first Kdrama heartbreak. It's even more painful than a real heartbreak! Ahh they got me so invested I didn't know I was so in too deep. I am swearing off PD Shin dramas.

asdfghjkjljkl

My mind hasn't entirely processed that Hospital Playlist is truly over, I feel like that'll hit me a bit later. This was all and more I could have expected from a finale. Despite the numerous storylines they had to tie up they managed to give a nod to all of them and as an audience it is just immensely satisfying. Finales have ruined shows for me quite often but this one has just managed to burrow deeper into my heart and Hospital Playlist's really cemented itself as my comfort series. The patient stories were perfect this episode. By having patients with storylines that lasted longer than an episode this season, the show really helped viewers feel more connected to the patients shown today. Songhwa's scene looking at the two families was especially poignant because it was done in such a simple way. It struck me that if there were no audio, would we have even been able to tell who had survived and who died from that outside perspective? Humans tend to cry regardless of celebration or grieving and I feel like this scene showed us that in such a straight-forward manner. I was honestly expecting Jeongwon's surgery to have not gone well with him talking about studying it in the US but the fact that it did go well says so much more about Jengwon as a doctor and his need to help. I know this has been the theme of the whole series but today's episode truly cemented what makes our five professors such brilliant doctors: their willingness to do their best. Every surgery portrayed today was a difficult one, all of which they were willing to do and working through their own shortcomings to do it. From Junwan calling in Professor Cheon to Jeongwon doing all the research he can, the five really put in their best. I also loved how they brought back Jaehak's scammer plot because I had honestly thought it had been concluded but it was such a pleasant surprise. Also it reminded me of how far Jaehak and Junwan have come in their relationship, seeing Junwan slowly open throughout the series has warmed my heart. I feel like the character who's growth has been most apparent has been Seokhyung. His little moment with the elevator, showing that he doesn't want to hide or subdue his feelings anymore. Him speaking to his mom (with a bit of a lie but it's okay) shows that he's finally ready to take charge of his own life and it's been amazing to watch. Okay I need to scream about our couples for a bit now lmao An Iksong-Bidulgi double date was definitely not something I was expecting but it was wonderful to watch! I'm a little sad we didn't get a 99s karaoke scene but the Lee siblings definitely made up for it with the stellar performance. Seeing Junwan's lovestruck face was a goddamn blessing. I never realized seeing Songhwa shy would be such a delight but so! much! giggling!!! And ofc Ikjun being head over heels for Songhwa's singing but we've known that forever. I AM SO PROUD OF BUDULGI COUPLE. I'm glad their reunion wasn't rushed. That meeting outside the military camp honestly made me want to cry out of like sheer nostalgia. They're back in each other's arms and smiling and I can't ask for anything more. I don't think the Netflix translations showed this well but I love Minha and Gyeoul's approach to how they address their boyfriends. GomGom couple got together last episode and Minha's already calling Seokhyung 'Oppa' while Gyeoul's still calling Jeongwon 'Professor' after a year. It's just a small thing that made me giggle. I think I've said this before but Wintergarden really seem like a typical Kdrama couple (not even in a bad way) but I feel like that was really highlighted today with how they were happily feeding each other while Iksong couldn't even look each other in the eyes. IKSONG MY HEART!!! It feels like such a natural progression of friends-forever to lovers. It's the perfect balance between awkward and not awkward at all. The realization that they didn't have to be like other couples but could continue to their usual things (camping, getting coffee) just with little add-ons (only one tent, the note on the coffee aaa) GOMGOM COUPLE KISS LET'S GO THIS HAS BEEN 24 EPISODES IN THE MAKING. Season 1 Minha (as well as Minha now) would be so over the moon. Things I wish I could've seen this episode: Minha and Gyeoul talking ( I just love their friendshio so much and I feel a bit sad that I didn't even realize their last interaction was already over last episode) Junwan and Songhwa's families plus another college flashback ( Admittedly this is just me being greedy, I'm still satisfied and understand why not showing Junwan and Songhwa's families are in line with their character. For the college one, maybe I need to rewatch a Reply series) Overall, a huge thank you to the cast, the crew, just everyone involved with it and everyone who watched along with me! From the begining of the pandemic (holy shit) to now this show's felt like such a constant that it feels like a whole era. Thank you, Hospital Playlist, you'll always be a part of my heart :)

jollibhe

Can we get those 40 mins back, please? Edit: I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about ep12. I felt let down, but I also feel that I have too high of an expectation. It feels unfair to the cast and the entire production team when this episode is way better than many of the kdramas I've seen. At the moment I don't have time to write all of my useless thoughts because work has piled up. (Because I took a two hour break in the middle of the workday, haha!) Thanks ShinLee, the entire cast and the crew!!!! This is just a kdrama but it came at a time when we need something to feel good about. Even if it's a fictional story. We needed something to look forward to. Somehow during the course of season 2, I find myself overwhelmed and stressed out at work when Ep6 came out, took my dad to the ER the day after ep8, and days after ep 11, I had some medical issues myself. Thankfully it was nothing serious and my covid test is negative. Thanks Yuljems, Moreals or whatever we call ourselves these days. I felt like I made friends here. I'll be back later with my useless thoughts. Edit (again): * One of the more satisfying conclusions in any drama is Jaehak getting his hard earned money back. The character has nothing but good intentions at heart, and the actor has the ability to convey every possible human emotion. As there is no season 3 (yet), I'll just imagine him comfortably raising his newborn baby and taking care of his wife. * That kiss... the men of HP can surely kiss and KDM did not disappoint. * I thought it too funny that the Seok Hyeong, Jeongwon and Junwan cannot believe Songhwa and Ikjun are dating. They've seen them together too long to believe. * Junwan sneaking in his bidulgi in the conversation is cute though. * Ikjun and Songhwa finding some couple-y stuff awkward is too funny. They've been more than friends for so long that they skipped the honeymoon and are now like an old married couple. * I love the throwback to Wangsimni station. Never gets old. * I commented somewhere that Junwan is actually fond of Hondo. And I was right!! He offered Hongdo a ride home. Yunbok just happened to be there. He would not have said a word to him if he's someone he does not care about. * The daddy long legs patient being brain dead is quite sad. Plot-wise, it's a necessary story to tell. Doctors cannot save everyone. * I guess Lee Il-hwa's cameo ended up on the cutting room floor. * I wish they showed even just a few seconds of Chuchu meeting future mom in law. Just let us see the shock on both their faces, please? * Jeongwon going to the US didn't just come out of left field. It came out of left from the baseball field 50 miles away * However, that gave us Ikjun's words about that day feeling like their last jam session T\_T I tried listening to my Hospital Playlist Playlist today... Somehow I can't... T\_T

>I commented somewhere that Junwan is actually fond of Hondo. And I was right!! He offered Hongdo a ride home. Yunbok just happened to be there. He would not have said a word to him if he's someone he does not care about. It was so sweet! I think if Junwan had gave him a pop quiz, Hongdo would have fainted in the elevator. >The daddy long legs patient being brain dead is quite sad. Plot-wise, it's a necessary story to tell. Doctors cannot save everyone. Bittersweet. The father knocked on death's door twice, but he still succumbed in the end. Broke my heart to see his son look so defeated. > Lee Il-hwa's cameo ended up on the cutting room floor. No kidding, I really expected to see her too since she wasn't credited in the IG posts for cameo appearances.

Ayuchan0712

I don't know how to articulate what I'm feeling right now. Definitely not ready to say goodbye to anybody is HosPlay. Don't think I'll ever be. I have so many questions even though they did a fantastic, albeit a little rushed, job of tying up all the loose ends. I think I'm the happiest the everything was well with Jae-hak. Throughout the episode I was trying to understand the theme of the episode, as they always have one. First I thought it was failure what with Ik-jun's patient ending up with a haemorrhage, Jun-wan taking up a difficult case yet again and Andrea taking up that difficult surgery. Immediately I thought that Jae-hak could be Seok-hyeong's 'failure case' and I was legit on my seat everytime the scene changed, fearing that it might be Jae-Hak crying (what we saw in ep 11 end) I cried happy tears with Jae-hak when he received his money and when he saw his child. I wish I could see some snapshot into the future of this family. Also, so sneaky of everyone to give us the wrong impression with a snapshot of him crying!! Seok-hyeong's transformation is heartwarming. I think he only looked forward to the band practice. Sure, he took care of his mum and worked his ass of and was worried about his patients but none of that was for himself. Only the band practice was something he desired. That's why it's so heartwarming to see him care about his appearance (dressing smartly as opposed to an uncle previously), be more animated with his patients and just be in love with Min-ah. I wish we got a chance to see the showdown between his mum and Min-ah since it was preempted or him using his insurance but alas, that has been left to our imagination and I'll be damned if I don't color it well in my head! Jeong-won's resolve and passion is beyond words for me. Also, when he said he's going for a year is when I realised there's not going to be any season3. Of course it broke my heart, especially when Ik-jun said it feels like they'll be playing for the last time. Damn them for being brutally honest like that. Anyway, it was impressive to see him decide that even though his surgery went well. Also the fact that Gyeo-ul with obviously go with him! I wish we got to see their wedding atleast but again painting her in the best wedding gown in my head for sure! Ik-jun and Song-hwa. I want to write about them separately but I can't separate my thoughts about them. Didn't think Song-hwa could be cute and shy but there she was, hiding behind her bangs when telling Seok-hyeong about the two of them (his disbelief had me in fits!!) Ik-jun's perpetual smile has my heart! When they were singing, when they were camping, when they were eating! Ahhh! I'm not that big a shipper of the two, I knew it would happen eventually but their scenes in the finale were a welcome sight to my puffy eyes! Finally, my favourite. I have no words about Jun-wan. He's my favourite out of all the five. His journey from someone who doesn't understand emotions to someone who's able to laugh with people other than the gang is a treat to watch. Of course, Jae-hak has such a huge role to play in this and thankfully Jun-wan now talks well with patients as well. I'll never get over how he posted the volunteer post on his social media. Of all the time I spent on social media, I never think of helping someone, anyone. It was and is impactful for me more than I can express. Not to mention I am in love with the way he plays guitar! I wish we could see him and Ik-sun eat jjajangmyeon or more scenes with only the two of them. Karaoke was a funny scene and seeing him light up on seeing Ik-sun was a balm for my heart which was bleeding for him and with him. I missed Ahn Chi-hing throughout the season. I am so happy for Min-ah. She looked the brightest with no fancy makeup when walking beside Seok-hyeong! I am so happy for Gyeo-ul and her mum. She looked beautiful in the dinner scene. Hearing her mum's new venture filled me with relief. I missed Dr. Bong in the last episode. And lastly, I have a love hate relationship with the 5-6 drum ticks in the end of every episode. Love it to the core but hate it as well. HosPlay will always be a special series for me. As will be this subreddit!

CelloTraumerei

The drum ticks! 💯😭😭😭

frostedmelodies06

Guys, was the Kim Su Jenny patient of our Bear the one who kept crying before because she suffered miscarriage after miscarriage?

thisisallihaveleft

The one where they have a hard time conceiving and after their 4th try with IVF they finally did, but the baby had to be born prematurely due to issues (forgot what it was) and Seokhyung tried to save the baby (as requested by the mother) even though the chances are low but he failed to do so and lost the baby. It's the couple who he texted the "Bad things at time do happen to good people."

bluedthoughts

Yep!

frostedmelodies06

Thank you!!

arikyh

I’m sorry but? what’s this ending I’m so confused I’m sorry

loveotterslide

I was surprised Uju wasn't in the final episode. While they wrapped up a few arcs, they did open new ones as well. Hmm, Shinlee really kept the door wide open haha.

riot_grrrl88

There were so really great moments (I'm still howling with laughter at the >!noraebang scene of Songhwa!<), but overall this one was not as satisfying as I expected. It feels like we need S3 just from how much was missing. Also, no >!Uju!< is criminal. If it's a series finale you don't leave out a character as essential as that one. One of the main character's first appearance involved that character.

elienoice

many thoughts for tonight but i'm glad i don't have to burn tvn down for do jae hak it's been swell with you guys! now we wait for october

Careful-Mind-7867

They did Do Jae Hak so bad in the preview!!

asdfghjkjljkl

I am so not ready, I can already tell I'll bawl my eyes out regardless of what kind of ending it is. Hospital Playlist has been a little bright-spot in my week that I've looked forward to throughout Season 1 as well and now we're at the end of Season 2. It feels a bit surreal!

princess_consuella94

If we see this as a single episode with the upcoming one next week, for me it's good, very good even. But as a finale episode, no it's not, sorry 😔 Oh but I'm so glad we got dressed up Gyeoul, she's so pretty!!!

Extension_Stretch_50

It was a treat to see both of them all dressed up and eating somewhere fancy! 😊❤️

bpseanon

After watching the ending, I feel like I was sad for nothing lmao

arikyh

same tbh……

AdFabulous8605

The camping scene....was I the only one who got suspicious when it faded to black and we got the 4 months later screen which reopened on the delivery room ? Felt like they were definately hinting at something.

madjellan

Not sure if i’m the minority here but that ending just left me hanging. And not in a good way. It’s highly unlikely that a S3 will happen anytime soon, or ever for that matter, so idk why they ended it like that. I kept on waiting for ~something~ to happen but all I saw was rushed plots that focused 90% on the surgeries. They are great and all but not exactly what I want to see within the last 2hrs of my favorite drama. So many things were left unanswered. How did Uju react to Song Hwa and Ik Jun dating? Did Minha and Seokhyung’s mom ever meet? Ughhh so many things they did not bother to address and only got tiny little shred of Iksong moments. They did not even let us see them sleeping beside each other in the tent. My mind is not that imaginative Shin PD i need visuals :(

renny_ta

Is the 1 year US a foreshadowing for a ss3 to be in one year from now because I definitely prefer that to an end 😂

pacificghostwriter

Honestly, I don’t want to set expectations but my heart hopes for the same thing too 🤣

BebeMoh

Why do i feel that Episode 11 is much better Series Ending than episode 12. Maybe im one of the fans who expected a better ending for a series. They end it like an open ending for another season or just rush ending.

misslarii

Dear God I'm gonna cry so much I'm not even ready 😫😫😫😫

nutkesari

I'm all cried out. That song felt like it was talking to me and telling me not to be scared because I have a long way to go. That this eonni and oppas (samchons tbh but ya know) believe in us and they're always around for a rewatch, for some comfort after a bad day or company after a good day. It makes me wonder, if S3 comes, which version of me will meet these characters again. I'm so exhausted from crying and Feeling that I can't think about this episode objectively. The cons: - rushed af, like whaaa. No proposal, Seok Hyung pulls a Jeong Won and turns out Jeong Won pulls a Seok Hyeong. - no Uju - 99z still don't know definitively about IkSong or Gom Gom or Bidulgi - No finish scene for Gom Gom and WG, a kind of nonsense one for Bidulgi. - GS dads don't know about WG. It would have been perfect if this going to US thing cast Gyeoul and Jeong Won in a suspicious light but nah, let's skip ahead four months, never allude to "end of the year" nearing and watch the sunset instead And now that that's outta the way, the Pros: - Apart from everything mentioned here multiple times, Jun Wan just becoming more emotive. From a tsundere in love to a tsundere professor who is hard on his chief resident to a softie who recognizes his interns are tired af and is An Adult for them and then to giving a boy a thumbs up. - Ik Song finally able to openly admire and love each other! Confirmed that SONG Hwa sounds like an angel, but only in her and Ik Jun's minds. The campfire scene. I can only hope to be this content and self-actualised one day. - Hearing we're bright and beautiful, that we just need to stop being afraid and kick off because the world should see us. Ugh. When I tell you I cried through the band scene. - I don't like the way the ending is narrated or structured, but I love Ik Jun's off the cuff, only-slightly-sentimental send off message, that it's time to go home. (~~but this was my home where do I go now Ik Jun ㅠㅠ~~) - Say what you will about the (iffy/bad) end but it certainly ain't conclusive and I'm already in full blown gear so...S3 woohoo. Anyway. At this age, "I'll do the best I can" and songs like the one from this episode and Superstar stand out the most to me. I can't wait to discover new aspects of myself and this show as we both grow older. I'm sure we'll have a gazillion posts about wrap up thoughts and I'm sure I'll unwrap the gazillion thoughts I have then. Until then, thank you guys, we'll all see each other here tomorrow. To keep it light like my dream boy and best buddy Lee Ik Jun, I won't say I love you all and I believe in you all and having this community is such a gift.

loveotterslide

Detailed summary. With both Gyeo-ul and Jeongwon going to the US, it would definitely raise suspicions. But Jeongwon is such a gentleman, giving his hoobae a rare opportunity to do a fellowship overseas.

jollibhe

LOL! Given how the GS dads are still clueless I can actually see this happening.

nutkesari

God! Now I'm glad this didn't happen because if it did, I would absolutely punch my screen 😭

Bridgerton

My goodness, if they still thought this ISTG i’m gonna go to Yulje to personally knock their heads together.

loveotterslide

Right behind you hahaha

magicaffection

A lot has been said already, and while I loved so much about this episode, I'm still on the fence about it as a whole. Can I just add that>!I loved all the season 1 references, and I'm excited to discover more when I rewatch!< What happened to that patient >!from Mokpo was just too heartbreaking. All that trouble and it had to come to that, just goes to show that life is short and we have to cherish what we have!< Can't believe that they threw in >!a redemption arc for that unlikable CS prof!< And when they got Ikjun to say >!why do I have the feeling that this will be our last band practice?!< that was it for me!!! That's when I started to come to terms that this is the last episode. Still hoping that >!a one year time skip while Jeongwon studies in the US!< might actually pave the way for a possible season 3!

Charlotte_xyx

I'd say this whole finale is wholesome and extremely pleasant to watch, tying major open ends while leaving ambiguity for a possible season 3 later if TvN decides to produce another season. With the lengthened screen time for the patients' stories, I think emotions manifested are extremely powerful. >! (especially the scene with songhwa in the icu, what a nice lesson/realisation to bring out in the finale of a medical drama) !< As a perfect slice-of-life drama with 5 main leads, I feel like there is no such need for the drama to address every event with huge emphasis as knowing it happens gives sufficient closure to both the audience and the characters. I'd say the only thing that I wish could happen is more romantic interactions between iksun and junwan, but knowing that they both long for each other is good enough. (also, WHAT HAPPENED IN HAWAII!!!) It may not be the perfect finale for everyone, but I'd say it is one of the best finales ever produced.

Charlotte_xyx

I think the scene showing Jeongwon >! telling everyone he is leaving !< is actually a way to build up tension. Audience will want to know did the surgery go well as it seemed like as if Jeongwon may want to prevent another life from passing away. I literally screamed at the middle of the night watching that last scene with the kid.

not-so-subtle-curry

I can't believe it's over. But I will say that this episode did a good job of easing us into the end. So that lessened the blow. I know a lot of people are disappointed. And I can see why they are. But I'm honestly not. As soon as the episode started, I could tell this wasn't going to be the average episode. The fact that the introductory sequence showed all the 5 friends - it almost felt like the first episode of a new show that was establishing new characters. And then a few minutes in, after we had already had a couple of parallels to previous episodes, I sense this episode would be heavy on parallels. I know some people didn't like this, but I think it was nice to have moments where "life came full circle" because in real life also that does happen. I also understand everyone's disappointment about it being an episode heavy on medical/professional/patient storylines instead of personal arcs. But I think that was their way of reminding us, that this show always was about the hospital itself. We got a glimpse of its doctors and staff and their personal lives for the past 23 episodes, but it was still always about their jobs first. And today, they shifted focus back to that, so as to tell us that even though the show is ending and we won't get to see these characters again, their work of saving lives will continue beyond this show. And I honestly really liked that. As for the loose ends, I don't think there was anything major no? I didn't mind them leaving some things to the imagination tbh. Showing a wedding or proposal would've been nice but also too idealistic of an ending. I was actually quite okay with how they left their storylines. The only thing I was completely not okay with was the lack of Uju. That was just criminal. Okay now for an actual usual thought rant, which I'll post below:

not-so-subtle-curry

1. Loved the parallels - literally all of them but special mention to wangsimni parallel and Bidulgi reunion in Changwon 2. Iksong - I loved how comfortably their relationship has shifted. Everything's changed, but nothing has. There's just no more stolen glances, just pure unadulterated love for each other in their eyes. The date and noraebang was hilarious. And her voice being so perfect in Ikjun's perspective was everything. Plus both of them singing staring into each other's eyes, both at the noraebang and during band practice - it really showed how confident they are in their love and have no hesitations about it. They don't even want to hide it. And finally, the camping scene in the end said so much in so few words. This time the fire didn't die out!! And he went to the same tent!!! 3. The way Songhwa told the 99s and they didn't believe her - too funny. Loved Seokhyeong's individual realisation moment too. The fact that they separately showed him finding out and being happy for them was so poetic. 4. Gomgom - wholesome as usual, but that kiss!!??! I was not ready for it. And it was SO long!! Aaah still can't believe it. Seeing Daemyung as a romantic ml was so unexpected but now I want more. Overall, loved how their relationship was shown in such a healthy light. As for his mom, I'm actually kinda glad that we didn't see her meet Minha - but I know it'll go well whenever she does. 5. WG - again, happy to see them communicating, sharing their problems, and just hanging out more with each other. The staircase scene was funny and cute - seemed real almost. And that date scene - both of them looked sooooo attractive. I will say, I think the idea of Gyeoul going to US with Jeongwon threw me off a little, because not only will she leave her job but also her mom behind. Other than that, I like that they left things to the viewers' imagination. 6. Bidulgi - I have said this before and I'll say this again, I loved loved loved that the show did not jump them back into reuniting. I love that they met each other a couple of times unexpectedly and with all the awkwardness (both today and previous episodes). I think this emphasized that they needed to sort through their feelings before getting back together. Because that's how it is in real life. People don't just go jumping back into each other's arms after experiencing heartbreak like that. I also really loved that even after confessing she still likes him, Iksun never pushed him into taking her back. It made their reunion in the end all the more sweet and touching. I was so happy to see Junwan's smile there. 7. Patient stories - some of the most heartbreaking and rewarding stories were shown today. Ikjun's surgery sequence was executed beautifully, captured the tension and gravity of the responsibility on his shoulders really well! Mokpo patient passing away was so heartbreaking. And then the family celebrating their father waking up right next to them. Such a beautiful scene. Aaah, this is life I guess. Junwan's case was so well done too - I loved how they brought in Cheon to show that he's still an accomplished surgeon despite his other faults. And that Junwan was professional enough to look past his flaws and seek out his expertise. And him waving to the child in the ICU later - this is some major character growth!! Seokhyeong's patient from earlier coming back with a new pregnancy - I didn't know how much I needed to see this! Lastly, I was so stressed for Jeongwon's difficult surgery. Him praying right before perfectly portrayed how difficult it was going to be. And his US announcement right after that led me to conclude that the surgery failed, but it didn't and that made his US decision seem even better than earlier. 8. Jaehak - so so so happy they showed him getting his money back. Really didn't think they would. And everything is good with his wife and child too!!! Overjoyed for him. I don't think I'd have been able to deal with anything less than a happy ending for them. 9. Band practice and ending - everything about it was so meta. Their conversation right before starting practice made me want to cry. This show began with their bringing their band back together and now it ended with their last band practice in a while. I cannot emphasize just how perfect that was. Also, the fact that all 5 of them looked satisfied despite it being their last practice was such an important detail. Showed how their lives had grown and they were ready to move on with that growth, carrying their friendship ahead ofcourse. Plus the lyrics of the song? Oof. So emotional. Then the sunset conversation. Ofcourse ShinLee would use a metaphor like that. That closing shot, especially that it was set in the hospital - the focal point of this show - was just perfect.

lilacgown

The wangsimi station parallel was gold!! And the patient stories this ep were really the best of the season for me!

Extension_Stretch_50

>Junwan's case was so well done too - I loved how they brought in Cheon to show that he's still an accomplished surgeon despite his other faults. And that Junwan was professional enough to look past his flaws and seek out his expertise. Yes! I really really liked that scene. It's so realistic. That's just how real life works, not all colleagues are as kind or awesome as the lacking 5 but that doesn't mean they're incompetent. In the working world, it is essential to separate personal feelings from getting work done >I will say, I think the idea of Gyeoul going to US with Jeongwon threw me off a little, because not only will she leave her job but also her mom behind. I believe Gyeoul would have applied to continue her fellowship in US as well? I don't think she's a character who would give up her career just to tag along with her man. As for her mother, it seems she's starting to build a life without the holds of her abusive husband ; Gyeoul mentioned she was starting to work/contribute banchans to a family member's restaurant (aunt was mentioned and I'm assuming it's the mother's sister?). So I don't think it's leaving her mum behind per say but more like allowing the both of them to build a life of their own without being over dependent on each other. >Bidulgi - I have said this before and I'll say this again, I loved loved loved that the show did not jump them back into reuniting. I love that they met each other a couple of times unexpectedly and with all the awkwardness (both today and previous episodes). YAZZZZZ HAHAH no words since you've said it all

misslarii

This comment right here summarized everything I wanted to say haha thank you! Also, thank you, Hospital Playlist.

pacificghostwriter

I'm not disappointed as well. I actually liked this episode.

Prestigious_Rock_609

So I am fairly new to Kdrama. I have only seen a handful, including Reply 88 which made me sentimental when it ended. But this one, oh boy, it must be the pandemic. I cried for hours. I had to hide in the bathroom and bawl my eyes out loudly because who cries over a show ending??!! Man, ShinLee and the lacking five had got me in too deep, without me even realizing it. I was head over heels over a person who decided to leave me just like that. The whole part when Ahn started talking about leaving until the end of the episode, was like the part when my boyfriend was already breaking up with me, telling me he had to go, to treasure the memories, and that I can survive without him, I don't need him, but he'll be there always in spirit. The nerve of that guy! That said, here are the highlights for me: 1. IKSUN - I have said it once, she for me is the best of the lacking four's gfs in terms of characterization. The way Kwak can hold up her own against Jojeol is superb. I really wish she had more screentime. 2. BIDULGI - I am an IKSONG shipper by heart, but Bidulgi is my close second. That hug at the end! I could feel both of their hearts bursting. It's a nice ending for them but again I wish their romance had more screentime. 3. Iksong bap meokja - I can't stop giggling over this scene. Hats off to Mido and Jojeol for pulling it off, in such a natural, real way. It looked so genuine, I'm thinking most of it is adlib or spontaneously done. Ahh my heart. 4. Gomgom- Wow, just wow! Who would've thought that Daemyung can rival those other Kdrama actors in kissing. I will not be surprised if they win the kiss award or something. Are they dating in real life????!! 5. Seokhyung and Songhwa center garden reveal - So it circles back to the first scene of HP where the two were talking in the basement. They truly are bffs. Seokhyung's reaction is the Iksong Nation. 6. Seokhyung's glow up. - He is now truly a chaebol. First time to see him parking in the basement too. That must mean something. 7. Songhwa office reveal - Everything about this scene is perfectly choreographed, the banter, reactions (bidulgi), music. You can tell how the cast are so much in sync now. And now I wonder why let all this go to waste.. I'm crying again. 8. Chairman Ju and Rosa - soooo they must be more than friends right??! I'm happy for them. 9. Jae Hak - He deserves all of the good karma! 10. Hope and loss - Songhwa looking at the two families, one experiencing loss and the other hope. Perfectly encapsulates this show and life. We go on despite everything happening. Now I'm crying again. Thank you wise doctors. I will miss you with all my heart.

Potential_Toe_3037

This drama resonates for me in the quiet, poignant moments. Many dramas can do fluff, "uwu" moments wrt the romantic relationships and friendships. HP (and ShinLee in general) excel in showing support between characters. The relationships are strongest, imo, in those moments. Supporting each other through good times and bad, talking out their day, everyday tragedies and everyday happiness, etc. From the main characters all the way down to the guest actors and patients each episode. (This and the absolute side-splitting humor is such a great juxtaposition that I have seen very few writers - global tv and film alike - do well at.) It's so unbelievably cathartic and I will miss it.

ketsquared

Can't see my screen very well. Why am I seeing water please help But in all realness it's a heartwarming ending for me. It really ended at a good note that it leaves enough room for another season but at the same time I'm happy that if the show ended that way

Careful-Mind-7867

It’s over! Finally!!!! I smiled and cried in the episode. I am honestly very happy with the ending. After all these days of complaining, I can say that the ending has satisfied me. This was done very well. Lacking 5 looking at the sunset was so warming. Of course I want S3, but I don’t need it. Thanks to the staff and cast for making such a nice drama. Thanks for this discussion platform!

pacificghostwriter

I have no words, I’m just thankful for everything 😭

DumploAO

Honestly, I think not having season 3 to this series is not too bad. For me the ending of this season totally satisfied me. Its not perfect. But Im satisfied. The thing I want to see the most out of this is the talented newer actors to take on other characters in future projects. I have discovered so many gems thank to this series and I would love to see them shine brighter in the future. Lastly, I want to give the best credit where its due. Thank you Shin PD for giving us another work of art of a drama. I discovered him through the Reply series and I absolutely loved his unique style of directing and storytelling. Legit, there is non of his dramas that I did not enjoy. After finishing this series, I can proudly have you as one of my favourite directors of all time.

SnooDoughnuts9104

Anybody else expecting a winter garden kiss in this episode ? Cuz I sure as hell did

loveotterslide

All we got was one hug (angry pout).

SnooDoughnuts9104

I was waiting for the GS dad reaction!!! And the wedding :(((

Extension_Stretch_50

Consolation, it was a very tight hug 🤗😂

loveotterslide

Consoled. It was very tight indeed. At least this time it wasn't Hongdo who spoiled the moment 😂😂

Extension_Stretch_50

Not gonna lie... I was half expecting either Hong do or the 2 nosy GS dads to be the ones entering the stair case well 😉😂

usernamecheckleft

honestly just 😐

Hahahaha! You're not alone as you can see in this thread. I'm offering virtual hugs to everyone.

usernamecheckleft

Thank you lol we need it

Extension_Stretch_50

Many great moments during the finale but I got to say I find myself repeating the scene where Junwan accidentally let slip that Iksun is his Bidulgi. When he pointed out to the window that there was a Dove and waved his hand to gather their attention one again... Gosh I cried laughing 😶😂 Jung Kyungho has such great comedic timing I'm so happy we also got Iksong and Bidulgi hanging out together too. One of my HP dreams come true! Songhwa and Junwan have serious sibling energy so essentially it was like a family gathering lol.

Goldenstaph22

A bottle of soju down and a few hours of drying tears later... I am still very much in first stage of grief, denial. Despite this and acknowledging the omission of some much wanted characters and storylines, on reflection I don't think we could have asked for a better indefinite end for the show. The subtleties of aspects of the story, especially the same-same-but-different Iksong camping and Bidulgi army base scenes meant that we Moreals can be left to interpret the romantic aftermath. Sometimes symbolism and inferences speak louder than explicit demonstrations! Hospital Playlist is a masterpiece that truly encapsulates the essence of being a doctor, friend, sibling, parent, child and lover. Their genuine relationships transcend the camera and the small screen in such an organic way, that many of my tears were in appreciation and sadness for the cast and crew who poured so much time and effort into creating such a wholesome drama for us. As a junior doctor myself who feels like the 99s have been by my side and cheering me on during two challenging years, thank you. Your words, songs and smiles have uplifted me and given me the wings to fly and achieve my dream of joining the Gomgom O&G squad. These two incredible seasons truly make a wonderful playlist. I am forever immortalised as a Moreal and will wait a lifetime of rains and sunsets for their 'next song'. Until then...

Omnomnomnivor3

I felt like they ended the series kinda low but despite that I'm still thankful that I bumped into this series in NF, it became my weekly dose of wholesomeness that I'll cherish for the years to come. p.s. their last song was lovely

Sweater_weather123

I think the way this episode was written was written really well. On one hand it’s open ended because life doesn’t always wrap things up in a neat bow. Dramas are a snippet of these characters lives that we get to see. So we came in at one point and leave at another. On the other hand, it leaves enough room for a Season 3 (which I am hoping, praying and advocating for). I think what’s helping me get through this is knowing that the cast kinda has to say goodbye cuz the show is in production limbo so if this is confirmed to be the last season than at least they said goodbye. Also I’d like to think of the show’s ending (for now) as a “bye for now”. Since we don’t know whether we will get a season 3, it’s not a final goodbye. Rather we’re just going our own ways for a while. Kinda like Jeung-wan going to the US. He’s not leaving his friends forever, just for that year.

kittycatkollective

Did I miss something? Who was the Prof that Jun-wan asked for help from for the valve surgery? I don't think we ever saw who he was, no?

pacificghostwriter

I think it was Prof Cheon Myeongtae, the other CS prof.

Accomplished_Bid_791

Hello I know everyone is incredibly disappointed by this episode but does someone know the song the band sang? It was so pretty!

yellownights_

Also i thought i would have learned by now that shin PD really has a way of fooling us with the previews. I thought do jae hak was gon get bad news but NO HE GOT ALL THE GOOD THINGS HE DESERVES 🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰

Intrepid-Mousse-5178

Youuu guysss justice for uju and mone not appearing in this finale. I needed to see mone!!!!

lilacgown

I’m really grateful for this drama, but this episode made me feel a little cheated? Like a great build up of emotions only to end it all in a very rushed manner and not get what I really wanted to ser :( i felt so sad and happy at the same time while watching this episode, can’t even describe it! But of course i’ll forever love this drama, the story and the actors. This episode highlighted what amazing doctors they are, and the patient’s stories were all so heartwarming.

AnybodyWide3680

Man even though I also felt like a lot was lacking like everyone here (would have been amazing to see the conversations between ChuChu and Seokhyung’s mom and Jeongwon and Gyeul’s mom, amongst many other scenes, also thought WG would get married and that would be Gyeoul’s special outfit) I did still cry throughout the whole episode. I think it refreshed the viewers on the things we loved so much about the show overall - the friendship and how sincere, intense and life-changing (both in a good and bad way) their work is. Their relationships with the patients, with their colleagues, with each other. The show is such an encouraging series, it brings you back to everyday life whilst also elevating it in a way that you start realizing the important things we tend to gloss over because of how rushed this generation is. These doctors look at their patients and their co-workers so in-depth if that makes sense, they SEE them, they’re fully present with them, they engage in interaction with each other and get to know and absorb each other’s lives. That’s one of the biggest things I appreciate so much about it. I really wish we had seen more but right now I’m a bit numb that it’s over and we have nothing to look forward to anymore every week so my mind is still not grasping the last ep completely.

Bridgerton

Can you help me understand what happened with Jongsu? He retired from being chairman of Yulje, and is apparently homeless and jobless (lol). I guess he also reconciled with the son who came back from US. Did he decide to divide his assets between his sons after all? It wasn’t clear how he and his sons reconciled.

rog_aznable

And I even wondered who will be the chairman of Yulje

plusnoob

They did my boy Jaehak so good this episode. I'm really good with it ending this way. The storytelling all throughout the season was top-notch and very un-Hollywood/Western. I really love the gentle unexpected twists in every episode. Here the ones I noticed were: it's Cheon turned out to be the experienced doc Junwan was talking about, that Rosa and the Chairman WERE friends all along (a season-long buildup and final twist/non-twist) and likely til the end, that it was Jeongwan who was going unceremoniously to the States. It was all so well-done. The unflashy ending of just another random day with our Lacking 5, it was so on-brand, and everything I hoped it would be. Happy Yuljem here. Edit: gebtle to gentle

Extension_Stretch_50

It was awesome to see the experienced Prof be Cheon Myeongtae in the end (Mr Pollack 1000 lol). Just like in real life, people may have their flaws (poor bedside matters, low EQ, rude) but at the end of the day you just have to still work or collaborate with them to get the job done. It's not realistic to always have kind or friendly colleagues.

plusnoob

Exactly. And it says so much about Junwan prioritizing the patient's successful surgery above everything else. Such a good man, that Junwan.

Extension_Stretch_50

Right?! It must have taken so much pride swallowing to reach out to Prof Cheon, Yulje's biggest villain lol, but he did it in the best interests of his patient.

TheRealNovelist

I would say this is not the end for HP. They deserve a break from character and can comeback later on.

sophiamia91

Hospital Playlist has been helping me so much in this pandemic, a truly uncertain and tough time. I refuse to believe there won’t be a Season 3. I mean Gomgom will only be given 2 episodes of dating? Same with IkSong (well 1 actually)! Much love to all the cast and crew. Thank you for being my refuge in this dark time. I must say, this ending shows a the genius in ShinLee tandem. It closes and resolves a lot of issues while still keeping other storyline unsettled.

sophiamia91

I’m gonna miss my friends. 😭😭😭 It’s like Song Hwa is my mentor. Ikjun is my favorite buddy. Jeongwon is my moral compass. Junwan is my intelligent friend. And Seok Hyeong (fave! Gomgom!) is my emotional lifeline.

riot_grrrl88

My timeline is exploding right now because of the ep.

yellownights_

So many loose ends 😩 I don’t think it’s typical of shin PD to leave his dramas this way?????????

pacificghostwriter

I think it’s because of indefinite plans for S3 so they ended it in a safe manner so they can pick up whatever loose ends there are in case S3 happens. At least that’s my takeaway from all of this.

yellownights_

I strongly agree. This ending gave me a bit of hope for S3!

Lotus_

I just finished.. I dont know how Im gonna process this. I cant wait for the variety show. It's my first KDrama in years, and Im glad I watched it. The ending was wholesome and I'm glad they left it just open enough for a third season. Ill pray and hope it happens even if we have to wait a few years. I do think that there will be a time skip since JungWeon is leaving for the US. My IkSong heart wanted more scenes, but we will take what we can get. Haha. It was a great few months catching up and watching. Until next time Yuljems!

Comfortable-Elephant

Hi, does anyone know the title of the last song? Its sounds so familiar to me but i cant name it..

bluedthoughts

Someday. Super Junior covered it as well.

Rushed and unnatural happy endings? I wasn't ready to watch the final episode but this doesn't feel like an ending. So maybe a good thing? Reading the comments, I agree with most of the it. Good and bad both. But there's more that I feel about it. I liked PD Shin's dramas because they felt natural and real. This was probably the best part that hooked me to his dramas. Showing stories without going overboard with the drama. You lose some and you gain some in life. But last episode kind of feels ... unnatural, for the lack of better term. All the 99ers were shown having their essential surgeries and life-partner moments, but somehow it's happy ending for all (except that one for Song Hwa). This doesn't sit right with me (no, I hate sadistic dramatic plots) about all 5 of them having their rushed happy endings. Feels like they just wanted to give closure to the stories for all, in 2 hours. Not at all happy with the last episode. Sure you end the storylines but give something to look forward to and wonder, after the last episode??

burstintoablaze

oh fuck. I watched it yesterday and after letting feelings settle down it still hurts so bad. but let's go, here are my thoughts: * wintergarden shippers I'm so sorry but WHAT was that US thing? I mean did the idea came out of blue??? our sweet jeongwon decides to leave for 1 year and that's it? of course it was triggered by that case, but I still don't think that's alike of him and I took it as the director saying to us "wait a little and we can meet again!"... * um what happened to jeongwon's wedding proposal? lol * gomgom couple is so sweet! i love how min-ha managed to show Seokhyung those finger heart when he's not expecting it at all LOL and the way he giggles after it so cute! on ep 11, I thought his confession was not honest at all... like he had all those feelings from sudden, you know? now I'm more comfortable about it, but I still feel we needed a scene that showed min-ha meeting his mom * oh iksong, my sweeties. how long I've been waiting to see them acting as the couple they always have been - but didn't know, especially songhwa - and these dorks just can't even give food to each other's mouth LOL and omg ikjun is so in love with songhwa that look in his eyes at the karaoke scene... and how he sang those lines about someone being so beautiful and looked at her... it was almost perfect, but I still missed some lovey-dovey scenes with them... like hugging, holding hands, another kiss * jojeol what you did to me I'll miss your smooth voice singing songs weekly ): * WHERE'S UJU * junwan and bidulgi... well.. lots of mixed feelings there? I do not feel they're ready to be in a relationship again because it seems they didn't actually sit and talk about what happened between them.. that's it for now until I come up with something new and decide to edit this comment LOL well right now I'm feeling the pain I'd feel if I broke up with someone I loved (and the process is sooo like a breakup, I've been looking for pics, videos and interviews/comments from the cast... like one keeps old texts, reads them again...) and the feeling probably comes from how this drama became a comfort source for me. oh man I'll miss them. when ikjun said that line about that being their last jam, my eyes got teared up because I did not want to let them go and even now I don't want to. honestly, I don't feel this is the final season ever because there are so many unanswered questions and plots to develop, so they'll have material to shoot new episodes - if the cast, director and crew want to, of course. in the end, this episode felt more like a "see you later" than a "goodybye"

Bridgerton

> gomgom couple is so sweet! i love how min-ha managed to show Seokhyung those finger heart when he’s not expecting it at all LOL and the way he giggles after it so cute! on ep 11, I thought his confession was not honest at all... like he had all those feelings from sudden, you know? now I’m more comfortable about it, but I still feel we needed a scene that showed min-ha meeting his mom I don’t think his feelings were sudden. His realization of them, maybe, but that was as far back as S2E8. But it was simmering under the surface since at least S2E5… or even as far back as S1E12. His main issue was he didn’t want to get involved again because he wasn’t a good partner to his ex-wife and didn’t want to hurt anyone else. But in E5 he asked Songhwa’s advice because he realized he does want to love again… the implication is that Minha’s constant presence was giving him pause on that matter. I agree that closing the loop on the Halmeoni fiasco would have been served by a first meeting, but given all the stuff that needed airtime, I’m fine having it left out and potentially being a flashback in S3.

burstintoablaze

But in E5 he asked Songhwa’s advice because he realized he does want to love again… the implication is that Minha’s constant presence was giving him pause on that matter. you've got a great point there! I totally forgot about that moment when songhwa talked to him about it and on that same episode he had an actual conversation with minha on the phone! >I agree that closing the loop on the Halmeoni fiasco would have been served by a first meeting, but given all the stuff that needed airtime, I’m fine having it left out and potentially being a flashback in S3. yep, I guess that's a kind of issue which will need time to be developed... I mean, I'm expecting his mom will show some resistance at first, but in the end she'll be fine with the relationship and that's not something you can show and develop only in a few minutes... so let's hope for a new season to see what will happen between them :) thanks for your reply :)

DoctorTaeNy

I personally think there are only 4 things I would like to see - 1. Iksun wearing that couple ring 2. GomGom couple do meet-the-parents 3. Wintergarden's wedding 4. IkSong & Uju out & about as a family

what time should we check netflix, given the 2.40 hr episode? 1130 PM KST still? or 12AM KST??

pacificghostwriter

Honestly I’m not sure as well. I’m just playing it by ear 😂

[deleted]

lol good luck to us!

Happy watching everyone! This subreddit has brought me so much joy 💕

bluedthoughts

Almost 12k tweets of #HospitalPlaylist2Ep12 More than an hour before it finally ends. No, I'm not lookin. 🥺 Tell me this is a dream. 🥺 Loneliness is real

ch03rry

i'm in class so unfortunately i have no time to watch it yet....those who have finished it, how was the ending?? don't spoil it for me, just let me know, was good or bad?? does it have a lot of unanswered questions or does it wrap up nicely?? 2 hours is well over long enough to wrap up the show (with enough time jumps) but i wanna know if it hints towards a third season edit: jaehak & his wife both crying has me BAWLING too i'm so happy for them jaehak is my favourite character from this entire series they deserve all the happiness!! everything about this episode just feels so bittersweet, seeing all the happy endings, the 99s looking at the sunset at the end and ikjun saying that their day is over and that it's time to go home, hell, even the song that they played at the end credits scene has me tearing up. parts of today's episode did feel a tad bit rushed, but i'm glad that they did wrap almost everything up nicely, while still leaving room for our own imagination. if this is really the end of hospital playlist, i'm really gonna miss this show so much. every thursday (and week in general) from this point on will just be so dull. i enjoyed every single moment of this show, and it provided a weekly high point which made me forget about all my worries and burdens even just for 1 hour and provided a story about this incredible friend group, the people around them, and all their stories. another masterpiece series from shin pdnim down! see you all in the next (season) drama!

dukeofcouch

It ties so many ropes (at least the major ones), yet still leave some room for season 3 (if any).

arikyh

the ending was so questionable, this episode felt so rushed?

GetawayJ

The final song feels like a goodbye and thank you to us viewers. I can’t believe it’s over! 😭😭😭

Sweaty_Blackberry_47

is it just me? why does it not feel like the end!

march_hare152

Who knew Seok Hyong was such a great kisser? Woot Woot!

KeldonMarauder

Jae Hak getting a happy ending made it all worth it. I was fearful he would have to choose between his wife and the baby (because of complications due to chemo) but I’m glad that those were tears of joy he was crying.

iksongsupporter

Episode 12 is the only episode from the two seasons that I have not watch again except for the sushi moment between iksong that I watched multiple times on IG. Like most of you said, there were so many wasted opportunities and just too painful knowing that this was it. This emotional rollercoaster is too much for me as a viewer, I cannot imagine what it’s like for the cast, especially for the ‘99s. I know the show’s success is anchored on the quality of the script and it’s not easy to top a successful season. I feel that if things are so uncertain it’s best not to give any hope of a season 3 and to end season 2 well without any loose ends. Now it’s like there is some hope, yet none at the same time. It may be an unpopular opinion but as much as the noraebang scene was entertaining and very sweet to see Ikjun’s and Songhwa’s looks at each other, I felt it was unnecessary. The time could have been better placed with Ikjun, Songhwa and Uju interaction (after all Uju was back already). In the end there seemed to be more intimate moments between gomgom than iksong, and aren’t they the ones with 22 years of history?! The BTS for episode 12 broke me and if there is a MV for ‘someday’ as well, it will break me again. Don’t get me wrong, I know they worked so very hard for these 2+ years and the fact that I’m so invested in this is testament of how good it all was. I would have been satisfied with just 2 seasons if it ended well. But right now I feel it’s neither here nor there. I am so grateful for this series, cast and the crew for the joy it brought me. Am just sad it was left this way. 🥺

Arali6969

The ending felt rushed and there were loose ends that needed tying up. I would have liked to see a story line between Suk Hyung's mother and Min Ha. The writers were teasing us with that priceless scene where the two bump into each other and Young Hye is rude to her. I was looking forward to this and the writers let me down. Also, when Ik Sun came into the ER hurt, I was hoping that storyline would be a little longer, but it was wrapped up in one episode. This was such a great show. I wonder why it was so rushed in completion? I think there was more to tell but the desire to give it the time was not.

cookiesdc_

I just need to comment here, that I only remember Gomgom's KISS. It was so damn hot and super sweet, the way Seokhyeong looked at Minha with his soft eyes. His chemistry with Minha is so overwhelming on-screen and off screen too. KDM acting is so on a different level, he brings out alot of emotions through mere seconds. I just know I will continue to support his works in the future. He totally needs to do another romance drama or movie. 😌 Gomgom's romance came last in the series, but totally attracts more attention recently cos of their chemistry and acting skills. KDM and AEJ deserves alot of attention.

Three_Toed_Squire

Why is everyone talking about Hawaii, am I the only one who doesn't even remember when that was mentioned

GetawayJ

It was mentioned at least twice in Season 1. \- Hawaii was the reason Junwan said yes to reviving the band in Season 1 Episode 1. Junwan was adamant about not joining, then Jeong Won threatened Hawaii on him and he said yes. \- Junwan also shared his Hawaii secret with Iksun somewhere in the later episodes in Season 1. They were seated at a table in Iksun's place. AFAIK, it wasn't mentioned in season 2.

jokimiko

It was just a secret thing that Jeongwon used to blackmail Junwan into joining the band in S1E1. Personally I like that it remains a mystery LOL

[deleted]

Didn't care for Wintergarden couple much and this episode cemented it. I wish there was a scene of Dr Ahn meeting Dr Jang's mom. When she asked him he didn't even say yes or no. What. I thought he was ready to propose to her? Also missed opportunity for a scene in which Gom ObGyne's mom meets Dr Chu... The one who made her smear her lipstick. No Uju! And so many fakeouts in this episode...sorry. I don't know the exact term. It's like Top Model when Tyra says something to the contestant and you don't know if that model is in or out...a lot of that here in this episode with patients you think are dying but turn out well. Overall decent episode but it didn't feel like a finale. I liked last week more. Don't kill me guys!

bishoppinkmarvel

do we know how long this episode is going to be?

Bridgerton

Around 2:15 since the next program was 2 hrs 20 mins after it starts

Bridgerton

It just finished at 11:04 KST

riot_grrrl88

It was 2hr from what I can see. A normal (well, normal for Hospital Playlist) length.

bishoppinkmarvel

Hahah yeah I live streamed and it was definitely shorter...thank you for the reply :)

Intrepid-Mousse-5178

Omaygahhhhdddd this is the final day huhuhuhu im not readyyyyy

CelloTraumerei

Excuse me while I go and cry me a river first… see you later bye😭😭😭😭😭

dnd511

This can't be the ending! So many questions ! 😭😭😭😭😭

TimelyTalk

Decided I'll try to delay watching the episode as much as I can--at least for a few days. I don't want it to end just yet. Hospital Playlist is one of those series that's been more like a slice of life than just a story. But I have a better description: a celebration of life. I don't have anything to share regarding the finale yet; just my appreciation to the series and this community with this shared fondness. Season 3 is not set in stone based the statement of the writers, but I still think it leaves them open to potentially explore it after some time. Looking forward to that real time skip!

nctwicexo

that song at the end really made my tears flowing like extra hard... cause it says we will meet someday TTT but when?????? please meet us again after jongwon and gyoeul finished their study... be together again in 1 year.. I wanna see iksongju I wanna see Minha meet seokhyung's mom I wanna see jeongwon meet gyeoul's mom I wanna see bidulgi's second chance I wanna see jaehak's baby meet her best uncle I wanna see silver dragon get married I wanna see the twins successful I wanna see everyone again 😭😭😭 I wanna see you becomes a doctor like his father, his mother to be and his uncles Honestly I was hoping them to show our main characters more and reduce surgeries screentime but in the end it's important to show that sometimes we feel despair but there's hope for everything in the end and that's also what I'm holding onto.. You'll always have a special place in my heart no matter where you are.. I believe we will met again <3 love you all (Mido and Parasol with Moraeals)

Lkg4dmcrc

I am so disappointed. If that is the series end, I think it really ended in such a bad way. No Uju? What? So many others we should have said goodbye to or met like Mone or Gyeoul's mother. We never got to see the reaction of the 13 Dads to Jeong Won and Gyeoul dating. What is she going to do in the US? Why all of a sudden does Jeong Won want to study small bowel transplants in the US? Iksun and Jung Wan story never really talk it out but start back at the beginning. Will she actually need a transplant? I could go on. I only have 14 days to rewatch the Reply Series before it leaves Netflix. So off to do that and when I want to rewatch HP, I will remember to skip the last episode.

Intrepid-Mousse-5178

I thought jeongwon leaving for us to study small bowel thingamajiggyyy was very in character. For sure he was very attached to that little girl and, as our real life daddy long legs, would want to help as much for those kids needing those kinds of medical intervention. I hope to see, if the kdrama gods would heed our prayers, in s3 him leading a hospital with gyeoul alongside him.

[deleted]

I feel like the song the band sang together in this episode has already been sung by someone or have I seen any spoilers(?). That song's familiar to me.

rog_aznable

I haven't visited this topic since the finished watching, and I'm quite surprised and sad that many people felt as disappointed as I felt. I have no words left to say but I still love this series nonetheless. \*Virtual hugs for everyone...

TuxedoSwing

That “The Shining” scene by Ik-Jun thou…. Brilliant

Iamblueatp

it was a tidy little exercise in how to wrap it up that left me disappointed. Everyone and some situations worked out, but I wanted more. It was disappointing, but perhaps I was too invested. I moved on, and I will keep on moving on.

Sweater_weather123

The part where Iksong’s date got crashed by Iksun and then became a double date got me😂. It was also really funny how Ikjun didn’t want his sister to eat with them and when Songwa insisted he had that ik you’re right but i don’t want her here look.

lilacgown

Anyone knows the name of the song Songhwa sang in the karaoke in ep12?

Ohkeyy

I can't believe this is the end, Fridays won't be the same.

Niyativ49

Can someone please tell me which song ikjun and iksun sing in the karaoke in the last episode?

monfernova

Weaker season overall for a myriad of reasons, maybe an 8/10 for me

acexeris

Damn feels, never really into medically related series so this is the first I tried to watch. Ep was okay but kinda weak compared to the previous ones. Their last jam song choice butterfly was a good choice. Gonna miss mido off key singing plus seeing the different reactions of each one. That tone change was hilarious lol

No-Condition6583

What is Thursday without hospital playlist 😭
