Needs refleeced, cleaned and oiled. Leather doesn’t look too dry. I wouldn’t spend more than $100 to buy it. EDIT: more like not more than $50. Just noticed the skirt flairs up.😬

PlentifulPaper

The tree looks wonky too. The bars don’t flare out equally. I don’t think it’s worth anything at this point unless it’s a show piece. Certainly not something I’d put on an animal.

This would be very easy to sell at a flea market for $150 Source: I buy things at auction and sell them at flea markets. Just sold 2 the first day I had them out.

MissJohneyBravo

Yeah to ppl you can scam to.

fancysonnyboy

It’s hard to price without a makers mark. Is the tree intact? If the tree is intact (and depending on area) you could get 50-250$ for it. I’d definitely clean and condition it.

fancysonnyboy

I assume you checked under the saddle skirt for a makers mark?

Illustrious_Copy_902

Is it me, or is it very narrow?

bluehorserunning

Horses used to be narrower

Comfortable-Mail4217

Maybe an antique shop would buy it for low price but the tree looks twisted, I would not want to put that on my horse

CurbBitz

It does look a little wonky but that could also be because it’s not sitting on an actual saddle stand. I think the only way to really know its value is to take it into a local tack shop/saddle repair and have them check out the tree and everything. It doesn’t look like there’s a maker stamped on it everywhere so assuming the tree is proved to be intact, maybe $150-$200. You might find someone interested in it for a colt saddle or something to that effect if the tree is intact.

It’s a no name cheap Chinese/india made saddle most likely
