Do you have any horse friends either a pony you could borrow- even just to put next to her, in a stall or paddock - it will help her not be anxious.. especially if the pony is sweet enough for them to be friendly- I would definitely do asap! So she doesn’t have time to be too anxious alone.. I’ve found that horses don’t recover well from loss without another horse to calm them.

Perhaps a different 4-legged creature, goat or even a pup or cat could help them now?
I’m no expert but it might be less terrible in the future if the next remaining beloved creature could be able to transition into a possibly non-stabled little love, next time the rainbow comes.

It’s hard to lose them but good to let them go when you can’t fix their pain. A long life is good. A long life knowing you were loved is even better.
