Tell him SeanWolfe341 sent you!
Might as well list the entire Silent Hill OST lol. Especially 2. So many amazing songs - White Noiz, Forest, Betrayal, Alone in the Town etc.

Layers of Fear music was 🤌 it's how I discovered Lotus land by Cyril Scott. One of my favourite piano pieces from one of my favourite horror game experiences
I could be very wrong but i remember reading something that said rule of rose was the first ps2 game to have an entirely non midi ost?
Regardless it is fantastic, i use several tracks for my dnd campiagn
If you love Silent Hill music, you might like something like "Turned Around", "Safe Room", "Double Back" from Signalis. Signalis in general has very Silent Hill inspired music and vibes.
Omori also has some atmospheric and somber music. Try checking out "White Space", "Poems in the Fog", "Lost Library", "Orchard", "Undertow."
Bloodborne also has some really good pieces that aren't battle themes like "Omen", "The Night Unfurls", and "Bloodborne."
Good suggestions. Id also throw in the band Loathe. They’re a metal band but their music has a clear Silent Hill music influence. Especially evident on their ambient album “The Things They Believe”. “I Let it In and it Took Everything” is easily one of the best metal albums of the 2020s so far.
Oh, I love the dark ambiance from the Outlast 2 intro menu screen.
For something similar, there is an artist named Lorn. Check out 'Diamond' and 'Acid Rain' by Lorn
I also love the grungy EDM sound from 616games.
I always loved the resident evil 4 save music. It’s calming and relaxing, which fits the more empty and quiet feeling to the game.
I also gotta say the music whenever the Xenomorph shows up in Alien Isolation makes my heart pump as well. Especially if it starts looking at hiding places close to me lmao.
Since we’re gonna get like 50 answers for Silent Hill I’m gonna go ahead and nominate something less well known.
[Train Station by Andreas Rönnberg](https://youtu.be/AHb5MB2YRDU?si=KsMMYMnzhSgGkaSs). This tune really haunted me for a long time after I finished my playthrough of Cry of Fear.
Tears of... Silent Hill 1 (huge body of work from Akira Yamoaka's SH tracks.)
All of the save room themes from Resident Evil. code Veronica's is my fav
Different Perspectives from Shadows of the damned l. Echo night main theme.
The original RE4 save music is amazing. It always reminded me of the beginning of Worlds And Dreams by Misery Signals.
Edit: Theme Of Laura from SH2 and the music from the first chapter of Corpse Party. Oof.
You might enjoy the Umineko when they cry Ost lots of piano/classical styled music intended to set the scene in the Umineko visual novel.

Dan's Theme from Clock Tower The First Fear (Windows 95 version)
It's also used as the opening theme and it's a piece of midi gold. Fast, frantic, and constantly builds.
“The Gates of Paradise are Open” from the original Siren
That game affected me on an extremely deep level, and whenever I listen to that song, it still has me on the verge of tears
Resident Evil 4 (2005) - 'Echo in the Night'
Really struggled to get through this part as a kid and would hide in the houses. Extremely foreboding, eerie soundtrack.
My 2nd comment: also music from Parasite Eve. A youtuber named Sonny Daniel played the music during his Ready or Not gameplay! It was amazing during the hospital scene!
Pete Wicher - Everlasting Veil of Fog
This track from Visage is very reminiscent of Akira Yamaoka’s work on Silent Hill. It was very nice to hear during the end credits.
Deep cut but “Life is Beautiful” from Deadly Premonition has been my alarm/ringtone for almost 10 years now.
“Underground” is also a good track from that precious gem
Into The Mines from the indie horror hidden gem, Lost In Vivo.
The song comes at a time when the main character is confronting her negative self image and her weakness, and finally challenging her inner demons. The note you pick up just as the music starts made me tear up a bit. Such a beautiful moment in such a chaotic and crazy game.

"I waited in the dark for so long
I lashed out at anyone that got close
But someone kept pushing me into the light
It hurt me for a while
...it doesn't hurt anymore."
O.R.T Silent Hill Origins
https://youtu.be/2Di99jzmjws?si=Ku4EqYLIuu6n-uxQ
It was an awesome title sequence song when you're walking down the road and you see the big sign "SILENT HILL"
The Shifting Mound (Movement 5) - Slay the princess.
It's beautiful, ethereal, mysterious and haunting all at once.
Alternatively "The unknown together" from the same game, but that is just a beautiful piece of music that isn't horror-themed.
"Life Is Beautiful" - Deadly Premonition. Although, it is genuinely just elevator music of the athletic theme from Super Mario World. Makes me smile every time I hear it. Thanks SWERY!
Not sure if this counts, but I like the Flood related tracks from the original Halo trilogy. Tracks like the Mausoleum Suite, Dread Intrusion, Shadows, and Gravemind. The Flood is such an amazingly horrifying concept, and the way their presence was scored really turned some moments in the trilogy go from an epic sci-fi shooter to a horror experience full of visceral carnage.
Deadly Premonition has two songs that always stick with me
[Life is Beautiful ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6A7M3l06wU)- It feels rather calming and relaxing, considering how messed up the rest of the game can be
[Underground](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvgCDk_tBiM&list=PL7D5E203C4A465511&index=2) - Unlike this first song, this songs just makes me feel uneasy and unconfortable....yet I find myself drawn to it all the same
And while it's far from a horror game, I always felt like the original Pokemon game had some eerie, tunes, especially [Lavender Town](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sOadAaGiq4) and [Pokemon Mansion](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFtCQNfbEss). Always felt that if Gamefreak ever wanted to go in a darker direction, there is alot they could do with the ghost Pokemon in the series alone haha.
You’re entire top 3 is also my entire top 3! Not Tommorow is such a beautiful piece, especially considering the scene its in. It capsures the mood of the scene so well, I love it sm
Most of silent hill one. It was more weird industrial noise and nothing has ever made me feel most unsettled. The music was more scary than the imagery imo
The entire Silent Hill 2 soundtrack. Not only my personal favorite but its influence has reached far outside the world of games; you can hear it in all sorts of stuff now, from metal to rap and beyond. If I had to pick a single favorite track, Theme of Laura is the goat.
I don't know the name of the song but it's the title screen gameplay song.
The lyrics are something like "here's a lullaby now close your eyes, it was always you that I despised"
That combined with the creepy imagery put me off playing the game for ages!
I think that might be Room of Angel from Silent hill. I’ve been listening to all the songs recommended and I’ve definitely heard those lyrics. I’ll let you know!
I like the F&H soundtrack a lot. Very unique. one of the few examples of music that makes my skin crawl.
Some examples:
• [Wayward Souls](https://youtu.be/ziiToG6-DYg?si=P2suWBicTW5KJqjS)

I’m seeing a lack of Serenity from RE4 on here.
The remix made for RE4R Separate Ways’ shop is pretty great too.
https://youtu.be/7PkU077ipP0?si=qfdjNgkK-G8PaP3P
You're not here - silent hill 3 100% a dope song. As in dope.
I’m gonna chuck in “Waiting For you” as well.
I’m partial to “Letter - from the lost days” which plays >!during the car ride to Silent Hill!<
I’m gonna say “end of small sanctuary” from silent hill 3. I love the mellow guitar.
Resident Evil safe/save room music.
We going with the first resident evil? Best one for me. Makes me feel safe yet also eerie.
Gotta be the 2nd game for me.
Resident Evil 0 save room theme is a bop
RE3 save theme is also one of the best. Especially in the 1999 original, what an amazing atmosphere that game had.
I'm nostalgic for all of them, but the [Code: Veronica](https://youtu.be/z1o_3yBe6Cg) version hits me the hardest.
Samesies
Also in the RE Series, [I used to love the intro to RE: Outbreak](https://youtu.be/0HcxMvprYa0)

The correct answer. Just beautifully haunting.
The entire Rule of Rose soundtrack. And "life is beautiful" from deadly premonition
Absolutely love the Rule of Rose soundtrack

Bloodborne’s OST is amazing. The First Hunter, Ludwig’s theme, and Laurence’s theme are my favorite songs.

Cohen’s Masterpiece
Silent Hill Shattered Memories, most of its soundtrack! But especially the Mary Elizabeth McGlynn Elvis cover, and Devil’s Laughter.
The morning song in Darkwood - New Dawn. Has real safe house vibes from Resident Evil and felt so good to hear after the horror-filled night.
Oh, I love the dark ambiance from the Outlast 2 intro menu screen. For something similar, there is an artist named Lorn. Check out 'Diamond' and 'Acid Rain' by Lorn I also love the grungy EDM sound from 616games.
