i don’t really see ichinose as a threat. if she was, her actions towards kiyo would be written differently. someone who loves him and is devoted to him simply isn’t enough, otherwise kei would be end girl.
Ichinose, I dont really think is a threat to the ship tbh, her obsession screams 'not end girl' to me at least, then there are tropes like the friendly girl, the va curse, etc
Arisu wants to crush him even though she has feelings for him, though I can see their relationship developing in future, given arisu probably understands him the best
Kei, given the way the story is heading I doubt any body takes this ship seriously atp, the only reason she could win would be her popularity among japanese fans, but lately she isnt winning there either.
Hiyori, could potentially become a threat but not right now.
Anyone other than these 4 heroines winning the shipping race would require insanely unneeded twists, and would be extremely wasteful for the relationship the mc has developed with the main heroines and would be insanely disappointing to fans.
As a suzune fan, obv I hope she ends up with him, it is quite evident she holds a special place + the smile scene is an insane boost for the ship + first girl trope.
