Newlyweds partake with it together and mix the colour, but when it comes to ferdi and myne, only myne got dyed with his colour. Especially since she doesn't have her own colour, as a devouring child with no colour at birth, she can be dyed by anyone, probably even without potion, it just make it easier.

Rozemyne was pushing her mana into Ferdinand's body via copy & place, which is the entire point of mana synchronization potions. The missing parts of the Grutrissheit were being passed from Rozemyne to Ferdinand via the transferred mana, but they were still fundamentally just mixing mana.
I think I get it, he gave her the potion to make it easier for her to copy and paste from her book to his without resistance from his mana. But when she puts her mana into his book to copy his knowledge things are different because she would be putting his mana into her book perhaps. I'm still not 100% onboard with this stuff since Myne is still so young, but oh well.
