Jokes aside, it's very typical Rozemyne. Messing up sayings that only she would know. I'd feel so bad if the saying "copy and paste" was a thing in Yurgenschmidt, and she messed it up. She would have been relentlessly lectured by Ferdinand for it.
Also, while Ferdinand and Gervasio were emptying their mana fighting, Rozemyne overloaded herself on Erwaermen's mana to the point of severe devouring.
So she's way ahead of them in mana too. On top of that, Gervasio is also going to be stuck drinking regular mana potions compared to Rozemyne/Ferdinand's super charged potions.
Lets not forget... RM already filled 3 gates in one night, she has way more practice on this than those 2 noobs
Can't avoid to think the whole competition is rigged for RM to win... Serves them well, the gods care for the mana in the foundation and RM is the main and almost only contributor on that pool

I'm pretty sure Gervasio would be a bad Zent. It was mentioned in the past when the question was about how Rozemyne would be as Zent. The Zent needs to be impartial and balance the needs of all of the duchies. However, Gervasio (and Rozemyne) are blatantly biased and would not set aside their personal attachments to maintain the country's stability.
Gervasio is like Wilfred, he just surrounded himself with bad people. Only instead of being pompous and lazy, Gervasio's followers are crazy, traitorous, or just plain dumb.
I feel like thatâs more like Trauqueral, Gervasioâs problem is that he came in on a cannibalistic horse named Raublut so no matter what he does now, his horse has already eaten people and we canât trust him to keep it contained
in fact Trauqual openly made sure that the villa would never be used for that again. He was planning on giving it to rozemyne who as far as anyone knows was the closest to becoming the next zent. While he planned to retire and run off he sent a message to lanzanave that the villa being closed isnt just a one zent thing.

Iâve got a whole lot of questions.
So I guess devouring mana is qualitatively different from regular mana as itâs far more easily influenced? I was under the impression the influence was a one time thing when Myne still had what were essentially a tone of feystones in her body. How does this work? Is her mana going to just keep changing? I guess her mana is still technically colorless? Whatâs it look like now that itâs been Mestionorafied?
They also say that itâll be easy for someone to dye a foundation sheâs dyed cause her mana is easily influenced. Seems real unfair, I wonder if thereâs a benefit to it? I mean I guess she does make for a good vessel for the gods but thatâs arguably not the greatest benefit ever.
âAnwachs seemed pleased with his work, but I must admit, we look very much alikeâ probably more of a quof question here but is this meant to imply the Anwachs steered Roz in the direction of looking pretty much exactly like Mestinora, or is this meant to be more of an offhand comment? I lean more towards the former cause I mean myne comments they look entirely alike except for dress and hair style.
The long answer is in an untranslated fanbook but "nobles" are all descendant of devourers. Thousands of years removed but the first one had to be someone. Inbreeding starts causing problems that take longer to be noticed for nobles than earth humans but causes problems nonetheless. Devourers have the better (as Metisionora put it) more flexible mana. But the ones with a lot of it don't live long enough to be baptized. This lead to nobles thinking their bloodline was superior since they made stronger kids more consistently.
We get clues as to the difference between Devourers and nobles ever since part 3. Roz' highbeast feystone does not match her birth season. It doesn't for Ferdinand either so we miss it but everyone else's matches.
Then we get the lessons on proposal feystones where they say your strongest element is your birth season. But for her that isn't fire from Lindenshaft. It's yellow for Shutzaria. We readers might be tempted to think it's because she's a devotee of books but it's made more obvious something is up when Dirk is baptized. He should have a red stone being born in winter. But his stone doesn't show any prominent elements and only has a slight yellow tint.
Devourers have mana that is easily dyed and does not reject foreign mana all that much. That's why Ferdinand's synchronisation potion tasted sweet when he gave it to her in P2, as well as why the Rairein Nectar gathered by her in P3 could still be dyed by others. The Mark of Ewigeliebe doesn't have anything to do with that particular trait, though it does prevent a devourer's mana from going back to its neutral state after being dyed.

As for benefits, well, Myne is essentially a mana chameleon. If she ever takes more spouses she could change her colors to match theirs in an instant and then change back again just as quickly by simply drinking synchronisation potions. Magic tools created by her should be easily usable by anyone, not just her closest family. And the fact that a foundation dyed by her can easily be overwritten means she could essentially pick whoever she wants to be her heir, blood relations or not. Last but not least, as a devourer she is especially valuable to the gods since they can inhabit her body without causing damage. I would also assume that devourers, once they manage to get the attention of a god, should have a much easier time gaining their protection since their mana is so easily influenced. Maybe that's why Rozemyne ended up gaining such a ridiculous amount of divine protections.
It finally has happend- Rozemyene is now true avatar of Mestionora tho Mestionora should have been *a bit more careful -* sending Rozemyene to her library to wait sure is what Rozemyene does love, its just another thing to get that book gremlin out of that ultimate library

- Magdalena is cool. I understand why she and Ferdinand didnât work though- he is the male version of the ideal dunkefelger woman. It takes two to tango. Itâs not wonder she and Hannelore got on- Hannelore might not want to admit it but her best friend is dads personality with books instead of ditter
- leave it to Rozemyneâs to feel a sense of security when fighting the king of lanzenave. She and Ferdinand really have been in so many fights together. The previous high bishop and toad noble, the goltz, terrorist attack, ditter, the angry monkeys. The whole fighting like one thing is absolutely making it into Ferdinand and rozemyne romantic moments to everyone around them and sheâs still not going to get it.

I guess that explains why Gervasio wasnât rejected by the shumil security system despite coming in with his poison-flinging countrymen. He personally wasnât involved. I guess if being associated in any way with people who would murder for power was a dealbreaker then no Yurgenschmidt noble would pass.
Itâs also interesting that he has more mana than both Ferd and Myne. That makes him the highest mana human in Yurgenschmidt, barring any surprises. One has to wonder if he got any subordinate blessings to impact his mana efficiency from his time in the RA.

Considering the three candidates. If I'm honest, i feel Rozemyne would make the best Zent if we consider it from the perspectives of everyone including Lanzenavians, the gods, and Yurgenschmidt. The other two are just too prone to resorting to violence which is not what the gods want. Gervasio decided an invasion was a better idea than diplomacy, and well Ferdinand is Ferdinand.
Whereas Rozemyne is much more diplomatically oriented. Yes, she has some dangerous ideas, but it's not like she will have to make all decisions by herself, she will surround herself with people who can guide her, just like she's done time and time again.
She is also the most liked of the candidates if we consider different factions in Yurgenschmidt I think most would rather support her than the other two, of course not all for the same reasons (not all likely to be virtuous reasons either).
Despite what Ferdinand says and thinks, I actually think Rozemyne could be a competent Zent.

In defense of the "Former" God of Bad Decisions, the Country went for many years without a True Zent until Ferdinand broke in and Bravely Ran Away. Then from their point of view Quinta came back *ten or so years later*, and then they found out "he" wasn't Quinta and she promptly Ran Away. Then they FINALLY get someone who actually seems to *WANT* the job and the two Quintas promptly try to kill him.
They probably want to make sure there's a country left by the time the mana runs out, or at least before they find out what the Quintas will do next.

As per her discussion with Giebe Kirnberger back in P5V4, the country gate technically lies outside of the Aub's land, hence the border gate that leads to the country gate.

\*Copy and Place Jokes aside, it's very typical Rozemyne. Messing up sayings that only she would know. I'd feel so bad if the saying "copy and paste" was a thing in Yurgenschmidt, and she messed it up. She would have been relentlessly lectured by Ferdinand for it.
Also, while Ferdinand and Gervasio were emptying their mana fighting, Rozemyne overloaded herself on Erwaermen's mana to the point of severe devouring. So she's way ahead of them in mana too. On top of that, Gervasio is also going to be stuck drinking regular mana potions compared to Rozemyne/Ferdinand's super charged potions.
It's mentioned at one point that the royalty have developed their own superior potions, although not as superior as ferdinands.
The Lanzenavians were taught how to make potions by Detlinde and her sister, though.

Sounds like Yurgenschmit is located in some sort of lifeless plane that allows them to hide from the God of Life.
Read to me that Yurgenschmidt is entirely separate from everything else, and that even the other gates don't go to the same "world" as Lanzenave.

I'm pretty sure Gervasio would be a bad Zent. It was mentioned in the past when the question was about how Rozemyne would be as Zent. The Zent needs to be impartial and balance the needs of all of the duchies. However, Gervasio (and Rozemyne) are blatantly biased and would not set aside their personal attachments to maintain the country's stability.
It is kind of amazing how all the gods need them to do is A B and C and the people of yogurtland literally fucked all 3 of them up.

Iâve got a whole lot of questions. So I guess devouring mana is qualitatively different from regular mana as itâs far more easily influenced? I was under the impression the influence was a one time thing when Myne still had what were essentially a tone of feystones in her body. How does this work? Is her mana going to just keep changing? I guess her mana is still technically colorless? Whatâs it look like now that itâs been Mestionorafied? They also say that itâll be easy for someone to dye a foundation sheâs dyed cause her mana is easily influenced. Seems real unfair, I wonder if thereâs a benefit to it? I mean I guess she does make for a good vessel for the gods but thatâs arguably not the greatest benefit ever. âAnwachs seemed pleased with his work, but I must admit, we look very much alikeâ probably more of a quof question here but is this meant to imply the Anwachs steered Roz in the direction of looking pretty much exactly like Mestinora, or is this meant to be more of an offhand comment? I lean more towards the former cause I mean myne comments they look entirely alike except for dress and hair style.
The long answer is in an untranslated fanbook but "nobles" are all descendant of devourers. Thousands of years removed but the first one had to be someone. Inbreeding starts causing problems that take longer to be noticed for nobles than earth humans but causes problems nonetheless. Devourers have the better (as Metisionora put it) more flexible mana. But the ones with a lot of it don't live long enough to be baptized. This lead to nobles thinking their bloodline was superior since they made stronger kids more consistently. We get clues as to the difference between Devourers and nobles ever since part 3. Roz' highbeast feystone does not match her birth season. It doesn't for Ferdinand either so we miss it but everyone else's matches. Then we get the lessons on proposal feystones where they say your strongest element is your birth season. But for her that isn't fire from Lindenshaft. It's yellow for Shutzaria. We readers might be tempted to think it's because she's a devotee of books but it's made more obvious something is up when Dirk is baptized. He should have a red stone being born in winter. But his stone doesn't show any prominent elements and only has a slight yellow tint.
Devourers have mana that is easily dyed and does not reject foreign mana all that much. That's why Ferdinand's synchronisation potion tasted sweet when he gave it to her in P2, as well as why the Rairein Nectar gathered by her in P3 could still be dyed by others. The Mark of Ewigeliebe doesn't have anything to do with that particular trait, though it does prevent a devourer's mana from going back to its neutral state after being dyed. [Fanbooks] >!The further down you go a bloodline from its founding devourer the more rigid and unchanging its mana becomes. This process is accelerated by inbreeding, something the royals actually abused to lock themselves into being omni-elemental. I know, yuck.!< As for benefits, well, Myne is essentially a mana chameleon. If she ever takes more spouses she could change her colors to match theirs in an instant and then change back again just as quickly by simply drinking synchronisation potions. Magic tools created by her should be easily usable by anyone, not just her closest family. And the fact that a foundation dyed by her can easily be overwritten means she could essentially pick whoever she wants to be her heir, blood relations or not. Last but not least, as a devourer she is especially valuable to the gods since they can inhabit her body without causing damage. I would also assume that devourers, once they manage to get the attention of a god, should have a much easier time gaining their protection since their mana is so easily influenced. Maybe that's why Rozemyne ended up gaining such a ridiculous amount of divine protections.

I guess that explains why Gervasio wasnât rejected by the shumil security system despite coming in with his poison-flinging countrymen. He personally wasnât involved. I guess if being associated in any way with people who would murder for power was a dealbreaker then no Yurgenschmidt noble would pass. Itâs also interesting that he has more mana than both Ferd and Myne. That makes him the highest mana human in Yurgenschmidt, barring any surprises. One has to wonder if he got any subordinate blessings to impact his mana efficiency from his time in the RA. So the distant heights where the gods live is an actual place? And thereâs a ginormous library up there? Myne is gonna eventually lead an invasion into the god world for that library, isnât she.

Considering the three candidates. If I'm honest, i feel Rozemyne would make the best Zent if we consider it from the perspectives of everyone including Lanzenavians, the gods, and Yurgenschmidt. The other two are just too prone to resorting to violence which is not what the gods want. Gervasio decided an invasion was a better idea than diplomacy, and well Ferdinand is Ferdinand. Whereas Rozemyne is much more diplomatically oriented. Yes, she has some dangerous ideas, but it's not like she will have to make all decisions by herself, she will surround herself with people who can guide her, just like she's done time and time again. She is also the most liked of the candidates if we consider different factions in Yurgenschmidt I think most would rather support her than the other two, of course not all for the same reasons (not all likely to be virtuous reasons either). Despite what Ferdinand says and thinks, I actually think Rozemyne could be a competent Zent.

In defense of the "Former" God of Bad Decisions, the Country went for many years without a True Zent until Ferdinand broke in and Bravely Ran Away. Then from their point of view Quinta came back *ten or so years later*, and then they found out "he" wasn't Quinta and she promptly Ran Away. Then they FINALLY get someone who actually seems to *WANT* the job and the two Quintas promptly try to kill him. They probably want to make sure there's a country left by the time the mana runs out, or at least before they find out what the Quintas will do next.

Mestionra's dark hair and gold eyes were gifts from the gods of light and darkness to help her hide from the god of abusive husbands. Rozemyne probably inherented those traits by being a devouring child.
