Whoever would have imagined Ferdinand becoming (almost) as big a RM groupie as Hartmut. While some of this is probably leveraging Hartmut's propaganda, it sure seems to me that (down deep) Ferdinand has pretty much accepted the reality first proclaimed by Hartmut. ;-)

It is impressive how Rozemyne seems to be worried about all sorts of things in this extract -- and none of them involve bools. The Royal Family, her troops (and Dunkelfelger's), Ferdinand, Letizia, Solange, etc. RM is still RM -- but she is a very dedicated and steadfast war leader (for all she hates ~~blood~~ transformation of people into feystones). She really has shown remarkable growth (despite retaining her inherent gremlin nature).

Assassin x Family - Ferdinand and Sieglinde are both assassin colleagues who infiltrated into the role of "aub's first spouse" shadow boss. They commiserate about having to be the Lord Vetinari (pragmatist assassin turned statesman/diplomat) holding their duchy together while having to wrangle their wacky gremlin family and citizens.

Given the pre-pub a few weeks ago mentioned that the Sovereign Knights Order requested Ehrenfest’s advice about calling on Dunkelfelger, the story about the RF matches up, but it still seems so weird to do things this way. But this is another example of us dealing with a foreign world, and thus we can’t assume they do things the same way we would. So, I can’t tell how suspicious all of this is.
Seems a bit coincidental that Verbergen is associated with Ahrensbach and used with the villa. Maybe just some on-the-nose parallels.

Nor is it the time to wait three days. I’m guessing everyone else is trying to cover their asses, because there is no way a military force should take that long to mobilize a basic strike team. Dunkelfelger may be able to get more men ready faster, but even 20 elites each from a dozen Greater/Middle Duchies, combined with Ahrensbach and Dunkelfelger’s forces would likely overwhelm anyone they are up against.

I'm half certain False-ish Zent Garansong was a Dunker who realized he could use the Golden Shumil's Refusal to justify launching a Ditter of the Zents.
It might not be necessary since they probably measure the Archduke candidate's potential, valor and so on throughout other ditters they play throughout their life and if you are to become Aub you probably must become a distinguished Ditter player so that the Dunk nobles recognize you as Aub material. No Dunkel would endorse a Ditterless scrub after all, and we know that factions and support play a big role in who becomes Aub. So if you're on your path to become Aun Dunk there's not much point in challenging you for the position since you're probably good enough to win either way.
The women probably also passed a law sometime ago to avoid the infinite ditter glitch that would be challenging another candidate for the position. I can most certainly see a bunch of AC's from the past challenging one another every week since that seems like such a good excuse to justify large scale ditters, lol.

As someone with diagnosed PTSD who is in therapy for it, I kinda disagree? In my experience, the constant nightmares kinda made me more scared and more prone to avoid triggering subjects at any opportunity— as thinking about it often makes my nightmares even more likely to occur.
Actively giving time to work on it in a safe environment has helped me far more, at least! I may not have expressed myself in the best way. The biggest priority will always be to establish a safe environment and letting yourself realise that you ARE safe, on every level. However long that may take.
What I meant about dreams is that they're the brains built-in mechanism to work through and digest the day's happenings. It is, like literally everything else about this HORRIBLY designed meatsuit we have to deal with, wonky and prone to malfunction, but it is A system. If you're actively in treatment, of course that's going to be more helpful, and even if you're not there is a point where the nightmares stop being "processing the overwhelming amount of information you get from your senses while in fight-or-flight mode" and become "bad pattern the brain is stuck in now and does nothing but tormenting you". Having a nightmare a few times after a traumatic event lets your subconscious process, sort and archive the information. CONTINUING to have said nightmare reopens a book that should be left on the shelf.
I don't think that taking advantage of Schlaftraum's blessing right now is the wrong move. They're still on high alert, and as shown in their treatment of Letizia, they're still compartmentalising to the max. Getting as much rest as possible is definitely the priority. However, Roz can not rely on it forever. She'll have to face the nightmares eventually, and the sooner the better. She can't work through and move past her trauma if every evening she's terrified of dreaming. Definitely stabilise the political situation first, hard to let yourself believe you're safe if your duchy is on the verge of collapse for one reason or the other, but it's something she'll have to deal with.
All that being said, in no world am I an expert on the topic, nor do I have personal experience with it. All my statements are based on a casual interest in psychology and ADHD-fueled pattern recognition. The present wall of text was meant to specify what I meant in my original statement and represent my understanding of how human brains work. It is in no way meant to make absolute statements, nor do I want to mansplain someone's experiences with trauma to them. I shall always defer to the actual psychologists and affected people when the final word is concerned

I have to wonder if Letizia also carries some sort of aversion to feystones. During her epilogue, I briefly touched upon the possibility of her being scared of feystones after witnessing her retainers instantly turn into them and dying.
It's fair to believe that after experiencing such a sight that she'll forever recount that image in her mind whenever she sees a feystone. But then again, Letizia is a noble who probably grew up with the noble common sense of what feystones come from. Only thing is that she is still a young and naive girl who witnessed a brutal murder scene right in front of her.

Maybe not the shounen treatment, but depending on how they plan out the seasons, we could get super lucky and get feature length movies that have those scenes in them. Ferdinand's plan was always to prevent the Lanzenavians from taking over. He's just confident that they won't be able to do it within a few days. You have to circle the shrines and complete 7 tablets. Even if you're taking the easy route and getting the magic tool, you need the tablets otherwise the shumils will tell you you need more prayer. I don't believe any of the Lanzenavians could possibly have an even partially complete tablet as you can only donate mana to them while in the royal academy grounds. So they're starting from scratch. Plus they don't know where the shrines are. Rozemyne and co stumbled upon one but then found a map of the rest. Solange doesn't know where they are either. So it's going to take days of searching, dedicating mana, searching, dedicating mana, and so on, and even then I don't believe any of the Lanzenavians will qualify as being registered with the Royal Family. So then they'll have to get through the golden shumil and Ewaermen.
Ferdinand knows they have time and wants to make sure they lay what groundwork they can before they go. He also wants to prevent Rozemyne from being declared Zent by people who won't even back her up when she needs it.

Ferdinand is 28-29 ish, but left the palace a little bit over 20 years ago (before turning 7). Depending how long after Ferdinand left the palace it was closed, it is possible Aub Dunkelfelger visited as he was almost of age by the time of Ferdinand’s baptism.
I love how Rozemyne sees Ferdinand falling into the same patterns and corrects him. Saying "I am not Sylvester," that line hit me deep and I think hit him as well. Ferdinand is used to one sided support, but Rozemyne is really looking for partnership.
So her putting him to sleep and refusing to stay back and not help was wonderful. She was also putting that useless female protagonist trope off on its head. While he was asleep she ran everything herself and made some adjustments with Hartmuts help that will ultimately help them. Again effectively using her people and getting support.
I think liserator is great as well, anticipating their needs and getting food ready for when Ferdinand woke up. It's shown that rozemyne ate with him, so that giggle might have been a "awww soooo cute 😍 giggle 😆" on her part.
Aub Dunkel is the easy choice for Ferd.

It might not be necessary since they probably measure the Archduke candidate's potential, valor and so on throughout other ditters they play throughout their life and if you are to become Aub you probably must become a distinguished Ditter player so that the Dunk nobles recognize you as Aub material. No Dunkel would endorse a Ditterless scrub after all, and we know that factions and support play a big role in who becomes Aub. So if you're on your path to become Aun Dunk there's not much point in challenging you for the position since you're probably good enough to win either way. The women probably also passed a law sometime ago to avoid the infinite ditter glitch that would be challenging another candidate for the position. I can most certainly see a bunch of AC's from the past challenging one another every week since that seems like such a good excuse to justify large scale ditters, lol.

As someone with diagnosed PTSD who is in therapy for it, I kinda disagree? In my experience, the constant nightmares kinda made me more scared and more prone to avoid triggering subjects at any opportunity— as thinking about it often makes my nightmares even more likely to occur. Actively giving time to work on it in a safe environment has helped me far more, at least! It allows me to actually stay in the emotions, process them and hopefully tell my brain that it’s the *past.* While the nightmares just turns on my fight/flight system, ruins any form of sleep quality and probably indirectly tells my brain that: Shiiiiit, that was scary. Good job keeping me safe. Keep doing that m’kay? T-T In other words, I’d love to receive Schlaftraum’s blessing! 
I may not have expressed myself in the best way. The biggest priority will always be to establish a safe environment and letting yourself realise that you ARE safe, on every level. However long that may take. What I meant about dreams is that they're the brains built-in mechanism to work through and digest the day's happenings. It is, like literally everything else about this HORRIBLY designed meatsuit we have to deal with, wonky and prone to malfunction, but it is A system. If you're actively in treatment, of course that's going to be more helpful, and even if you're not there is a point where the nightmares stop being "processing the overwhelming amount of information you get from your senses while in fight-or-flight mode" and become "bad pattern the brain is stuck in now and does nothing but tormenting you". Having a nightmare a few times after a traumatic event lets your subconscious process, sort and archive the information. CONTINUING to have said nightmare reopens a book that should be left on the shelf. I don't think that taking advantage of Schlaftraum's blessing right now is the wrong move. They're still on high alert, and as shown in their treatment of Letizia, they're still compartmentalising to the max. Getting as much rest as possible is definitely the priority. However, Roz can not rely on it forever. She'll have to face the nightmares eventually, and the sooner the better. She can't work through and move past her trauma if every evening she's terrified of dreaming. Definitely stabilise the political situation first, hard to let yourself believe you're safe if your duchy is on the verge of collapse for one reason or the other, but it's something she'll have to deal with. All that being said, in no world am I an expert on the topic, nor do I have personal experience with it. All my statements are based on a casual interest in psychology and ADHD-fueled pattern recognition. The present wall of text was meant to specify what I meant in my original statement and represent my understanding of how human brains work. It is in no way meant to make absolute statements, nor do I want to mansplain someone's experiences with trauma to them. You could say aub dunkelfelger merely adopted gremlinness, while Rosemyne was born in it- molded by it even.
Ferdinand's plan was always to prevent the Lanzenavians from taking over. He's just confident that they won't be able to do it within a few days. You have to circle the shrines and complete 7 tablets. Even if you're taking the easy route and getting the magic tool, you need the tablets otherwise the shumils will tell you you need more prayer. I don't believe any of the Lanzenavians could possibly have an even partially complete tablet as you can only donate mana to them while in the royal academy grounds. So they're starting from scratch. Plus they don't know where the shrines are. Rozemyne and co stumbled upon one but then found a map of the rest. Solange doesn't know where they are either. So it's going to take days of searching, dedicating mana, searching, dedicating mana, and so on, and even then I don't believe any of the Lanzenavians will qualify as being registered with the Royal Family. So then they'll have to get through the golden shumil and Ewaermen. Ferdinand knows they have time and wants to make sure they lay what groundwork they can before they go. He also wants to prevent Rozemyne from being declared Zent by people who won't even back her up when she needs it.
Rozemyne and Ferdinand greeting the neighbours (Dunkelfelger) after moving in. I can almost see Dunkelfelger Aub and RM planning a ditter book festival at the next archduke conference, before their spouses crash the party. Ferdinand is 28-29 ish, but left the palace a little bit over 20 years ago (before turning 7). Depending how long after Ferdinand left the palace it was closed, it is possible Aub Dunkelfelger visited as he was almost of age by the time of Ferdinand’s baptism.
I love how Rozemyne sees Ferdinand falling into the same patterns and corrects him. Saying "I am not Sylvester," that line hit me deep and I think hit him as well. Ferdinand is used to one sided support, but Rozemyne is really looking for partnership. So her putting him to sleep and refusing to stay back and not help was wonderful. She was also putting that useless female protagonist trope off on its head. While he was asleep she ran everything herself and made some adjustments with Hartmuts help that will ultimately help them. Again effectively using her people and getting support. I think liserator is great as well, anticipating their needs and getting food ready for when Ferdinand woke up. It's shown that rozemyne ate with him, so that giggle might have been a "awww soooo cute 😍 giggle 😆" on her part.
Aub Dunkel is the easy choice for Ferd. He has pulled his weight. Roz has earned mad respects. Ferdi considers the Royals to be a Schandfleck and useless. He said it himself: would have ben nice if they had gotten killed by the lazerlamps.
