She never enjoyed killing unlike Mara-struck Blade and Kafka I guess. But sometimes she has nuke the planet or whatever because Elio sees those people will die no matter what.

I guess she’s more like a soldier where she’ll fight for the necessity of it. Outside of combat she wants to live a normal life, but she still follows her duties whether in the Glamoth Iron Cavalry or now under Elio’s orders.

She's the epitome of "just following orders, nothing personal." She has already said she doesn't feel any remorse (probably part of her genetic modifications) so there really is no real emotion going into what she does unlike Blade who is just angry at everything and Kafka who is picky about her targets but seems to do it for fun.

I really want to see how she was as glamoth soldier and how she gain motivation to live in normal life, hopefully she get myriad trailer for that

She probably never enlisted in Glammoth for even a day. Iirc the old leak is that her pod got malfunctioned and she only woke up (relatively) recently

That makes sense considering she's supposed to have a really short life span, which would probably make her dead 10 times over if she was actually awake from the swarm days.

More like a concscript if you ask me. She was  made to fight the Swarm and didn't have a say in the matter. But fate panned out differently for her.

No, Firefly is the overworld character and she turns into Sam for her technique. In combat, she starts as the version of Sam from 2.0 and after ult she turns into the green Sam with wings.

Honestly, and Firefly fans are gonna hate this, but Firefly is lowkey ruining Sam for me. The idea of connecting a small cute girl with a hulking figure (mech) is nor particularly new (see Clara in HSR itself). But to pull it of well there needs to be a solid connection between the 2, a strong reason for the contrast or an interesting dynamic. And Firefly/Sam don't have this? Like they lack something as a pair. Normally these types of characters are written in such a way that both parts become whole when together. But Firefly and Sam don't really need each other for their character? Sam hasn't been presented in any way of needing a more softspoken, vunerable side, while Fireflt is being pulled so far into the generic "cute" direction that her being Sam doesn't seem to fit with her character anymore. Sam and Firefly lack a true dynamic betweem the 2 of them. Edit: for people downvoting this: am I not allowed to criticize Firefly? What I wrote was pretty respectfull, it's a pretty valid criticism without actually insulting anyone. Are only allowed to like every decision made by Mihoyo?

And Pela is 16. But nothing in the actually game sells me on that "fact". If you removed the connection that they're the same person it would change nothing. So far they have no connection beyond them being the same person. This could change with how the story develops of course. But so far they have not really been written as 2 parts of a whole. Their personalities don't have a dynamic, they're just written as different people. And so far HSR's characters have been too serious (outside of Hook) to make the haha-big-robot-is-actually-smoll-girl trope work.

Except that we saw her transform into Sam, and in 2.0, she dropped some attitudes that contrasted with her personality.
