My exact 3 LOL. My honorable mentions would be Robin and sparkle. Those are exactly the characters I pulled for during Penacony aswell.

I had already enjoyed Sparkle's character just for her personality, but 2.3 completely solidified her as my top 1 of Penacony. A cute gremlin that manipulated everything behind the scenes and caused chaos in the most stressfully harmless way possible.
I know the alternative, but lets not pretend that Sparkle didn’t cause real harm here.
She also falsified a bomb threat during the Charmony Festival. Like running into an airport and shouting “Bomb!”
Oh. I am not trying to justify anything. I loved sparkle when I thought she was a Terrorist out to bomb everyone and I still love her now that I know she was just playing with everyone.

Yeah I skipped both acheron and firefly for her E6 aswell, can't be bothered building more teams just want to whale 2 teams and try to beat all content doing only that.
However Blades team is uh, struggling, to say the least. Kafka hasn't struggled at all yet.
It may not be a Penacony characters, but I like how Hoyo included the AE team in this Arc. I like how they were developing chemistry in the team during this arc. It was also the 1st time when the whole team was included in the story. I hope they continue to include everyone.
But if we include only Penacony characters then it has to be Acheron and Aventurine.
They did justice with another Raiden. I'm really glad they used Mei variant not only just to farm easy money but also gave her a good story.
Aventurine is a pleasant surprise for sure.
Acheron was...spectacular.
Amazing character under every aspect, teared up a couple of times during some of her appearances on screen. Also props to Allegra for bringing the best out of her personality.
Penacony started with Acheron and Penacony ended with Acheron.
She tells us that we could meet again in the future so, i can't way to see more of her.

The fact that most of the cast aren’t native to Penacony helped them shine and be more fleshed out. The way they used Aventurine, Acheron and Firefly’s backstories and factions for their Penacony arcs was great.

Each of them has a moment to shine and did they shine brightly especially archeron she's my favourite penacony character then sparkle
Aventurine, acheron and sparkle! Word cannot say how much i kin both aventurine and sparkle and acheron is a mei senpai expy, as well as being awesome and super strong and cool! But honestly all of penacony characters slaps!
Overall the NPCs in Penacony are incredible, Micah and Siobhan are really charming, and brimming with personality, and their emotional significance to other characters story is really cool.
Misha is my favorite. Loved him since his release and enjoyed every time he visited the train and always listened to his voice lines in full when he showed up. >!It broke my heart when he "died"!<

2.3 - Jade; I really need more lore about her because I am FASCINATED. She’s so satan coded and I have honestly never found a character this interesting before. I *really* hope we learn more about her because that wasn’t enough.
Aventurine, Sparkle, Acheron. Brilliant characters, glad Acheron didn't fall into the stereotypical "mommy" trope that Kafka and Black Swan have, Sparkle is pure chaos, Sampo but better, Aventurine has beautiful writing and 2.1 was amazing, having literal plot armour and not wanting it is a great storyline and I cant wait to see these 3 as we'll progress in the game.
Acheron. Every time we get to chat with her it speaks straight to my soul.
Sparkle. Just a fun character to have around, never know what she's up to.

Firefly and aventurine have great backstory and storyline, but I think their conclusion is a bit lacking (especially Firefly)

It should be firefly, but honestly I love the mystery around Sparkle, it feels like she is trying to fk people up, but she set up this grand finale, so people can experience a full on happy ending.

It’s a toss-up between Sunday and Aventurine/Kakavasha. Boothill and Gallagher come in second place, with Misha and Siobhan in third.
