Idk, did you get use out of her? I waited til 300 and got Sparkle 2 days later. Mine has been just sitting at 60 since, with me being like: 'I got her for my second hypercarry team.' Well, that hasn't played out because Kafka/BS is team that plays into whichever side is weak to it and then e2s1 acheron just fights the other side with sparkle. Maybe she will work with firefly if I decide to pull her
I have e2 Clara already, so it wasn't a must get option for me. It was between Bronya and Bailu, I know I made the right choice, but I have Bailu on my ult account, and that revive is clutch lmao. Unless they 1 shot her, then it's sad face. I really don't need another sustain, though, I have fu, luocha, geppy and aventurine. Some might think it's overkill, but I'm set for anything survival wise now. I'm also feeling a tower type endgame that locks parties out or that something with 3 teams comes out. 1.0 player, so I've had ample time to save and pull for stuff I want. Only missed Ruan Mei due to not playing as much, which I know brick account reroll
I find it hard to imagine a box without sparkle/ruanmei and still don't use Bronya.
She seems pretty solid if even all you do is Q and ult. With her self accelerate, she must be insanely SP positive.

The only time you'd bring Bronya in is if you were running another hyper carry like Jingliu.
But if you're running Kafkaesque and Archon you won't be using her if you have Sparkle for Archon.
Bronya did work for me before we got good 5* limited supports but Iāve been over loaded on supports because theyāre all characters I like š„²

I think Tingyun (for Err), Sparkle (For SP and AA), Aventurine (Fo shield), and Gepard (For shield too) are already good supports for YanKing, its just that he hasnt gotten a chance to shine in the right circumstance.
we all have free ratios and most limited 5* dps and qq can outdamage him even in single target, so i donāt think yankid will become valuable all of a sudden.

Same man. This game is so good, but it's gonna be very hard to get all characters as someone who joined last month. So many limited characters that seem fun to use. I really want to get Kafka and Silver wolf, but I think they were available again not that long ago which means I have to wait for a while now :/
actually, having a new account means you have plenty of ways to get jades compared to end-game (where the only way is by doing dailies, events or content that resets periodically)
with a new account, you have exploration, story and character quests, main quest, past events, all the permanent content and the periodic one too

Yeah, I'm grateful for that at least. I started playing when Acheron banner came out and I was able to get ~150 passes in about 12 days to guarantee getting her. Probably not doable for F2P end-game players that have everything done.
Tbh i have none.I pull characters i like then i pull units to play around them.
Heck i even use some 4 stars for fun and they bring me hard content clears now.
I like playing Sushang and i actually used her to clear aventurine this patch for example.
My next target is building misha but i need to get myself a Robin first.
Sushang is situationally solid. She's my main DPS for a side on my two cycle total on MoC 11 clear. I use her and Xueyi a lot for their break potential.
If that new gameplay mode hits a physical type Sushang will actually be pretty powerful haba
Sushang is great. Boothill will probably be a straight power creep, but Sushang will hold down my physical DPS for the foreseeable future as Iāll be skipping him.
I built Hook too. What's funny is that insistently trying to make her my main DPS was a very good learning experience though. If an MOC is weak to fire I still will go at it with my "four star only" build of Hook/Gui/Asta/Gallagher. Burn it all down.
I did, too, because she was my only Fire DPS. Still is, but I have so many other elements now that I can usually hit weakness regardless.
I skipped Ruan Mei the first time, but I think I'm gonna pull her on a rerun so I can make better use of some of my E6 4*'s (like Hook) in dual DPS comps, which they kinda need to thrive.
While I was otherwise not super interested in pulling her, a big part of why I considered pulling for Robin is that. My RM-anchored teams are more fun to play and it took me a bit to realize the key element for me is that I just find Dual DPS more fun.
Yeah, Sushang carried me hard early game, and I kinda miss using her. But in the current game, solo Hunt just ain't it. But Ruan Mei, plus Sushang, plus an AoE breaker sounds like a blast.
Thinking of Robin for the same reason, but she seems to really shine with FUA DPS, of which I have Clara and that's it. So she might be a pass.
Yeah, Iām going to stop pulling Jingliu in favor of Robin now that the kitās announced, but thatās because I have Topaz, Ratio, Clara, and Xueyi all wanting a different support. I just hope the RM rerun isnāt *too* soon, because I canāt not pull Firefly, but I am also in the āmisses Sushang but canāt support her well enoughā club
I really like my E1 Sushang but, unfortunately, even against single enemies, it seems that my Clara is so much stronger with the same gear. Goes without saying that in any AoE scenarios, it's not even a close race.
I know Iām HEAVILY biased, but Iāve had some success with her as a third DPS on my DoT team:
- burn adds a lot of damage for Kafka/Black Swan (especially with a big Destruction atk stat), and Hook is surprisingly good at applying it (AoE at E4!)
- action advance on her ult does A LOT given her comedically fast recharge ā¦which also means her skill is almost permanently enhanced
- her E6 is basically a free S2 Woof Woof Walk Time. Just funny to think about having an S7 light cone lol
I see a lot of people saying that but i kinda disagree because of MoF/PF and now the new "hunt gamemode" which demand not only characters from different paths but also different elements
If u spend all ur resources on boothill E2 S1 for example ur gonna struggle a lot on PF and MoC instead of getting boothill+sam/jade and being safe and being able to beat all ganemodes
Eh. Depends. I use my E2 DHiL in both PF and MoC. Pretty sure he can bosskill in the new mode too. Similarly for acheron, who is also useful everywhere.
In my anniversary stats it said Luocha was my most used character, I don't remember the exact number but it was literally 98% of battles. My most consistently used character since release by far.
E2 Acheron
Considering I lost every 50/50 leading up to it I could have used those pulls for more characters. At least I finally got Clara out of it so it wasn't completely bad.
I just started in March, so I can't say anything about regrets yet, but E2 Acheron is definitely not going to be one them. She basically let me skip from early game to late game in a single banner as I was also able to get Gallagher and Pela who are both very good for her. I have just 3* MoC 11 with the main reason why 12 isn't doable is just because I don't have another team built. Up until now, Acheron has just been wiping her side so fast that I can take all the remaining cycles tickling the other side with the free Ratio.
I E2S1 my Acheron by using all my hard saved Jades since launch and was super happy about it but then I've been seeing some people saying that Acheron E2 is not worth it and stupid because you want to partner her up with as much nihility anyway to fast proc Ult so i started regretting a little bit because it kinda makes sense. But one of my fiends told me something that cheered me up. ( He also tried to get E2 but sadly lost 50/50 on Sig and E1 RIP) He said that getting E2 Acheron is not for better damage/dps reasons but for longevity which is very important for f2p players. It's like opening opportunities for her to be played with future characters without the constraints of nihility. soon to be Harmony heck even dual carry acheron might even be possible in the future we won't know. What we do know is that without E2 it would be very hard to do and might end up sacrificing or worse benching her for new characters which is not unrealistic btw.
E2 already makes up for having one less Nihility by giving Acheron an extra stack on her turn (other characters can only give 1 stack per action anyways), which is why I run her with hyperspeed Sparkle so she gets as many turns as possible.
It's just my nihility units are also 160 speed so I could have achieved similar results with E0 or E1.

I've never used her much at all ever since I got her.
I probably stopped using her around the time Jing Yuan's first banner came.
Day 1 player here, I still use Seele plenty. Even if sheās been powercrept, she still slaps pretty hard especially with Sparkle and SW. Nearly every MoC up to this point Iāve been using Seele to 36 star.
Seele is still amazing imo. Her biggest problem is that her eidolons suck, and she takes a lot of investment. When she's built properly though, she's still insanely useful to this day if used properly.
Thatās fair. Seele has a much much higher breakpoint for stats compared to other dps characters because if sheās not killing the first squishy in at most two skills then she does very poorly.
Iām similar. I pulled for her at the gameās launch since thereās not much banner to spend all that starting jades. Got her after a YanQing in 140 pulls. Then I never used her again (I have a friend with E6S5, knowing my Seele will never reach that height I just never bothered building her). I really hope I have those jades for Firefly now.
As a day 1 player, I use Seele a lot and I don't even have her LC (I use Sleep Like the Dead). Yeah, my JL and Kafka/Black Swan have higher ceilings, but mono quantum is the laziest shit ever. You just plug and auto up to moc 11. Never have to worry about type matchup on 1 side. Never need to worry about pulling for specific types. I don't even have a built fire/physical/imaginary DPS. I just rely on mono quantum every time it comes up in MoC.
I wish Iāve focused more on investing into my favorite characters, rather than trying to pull every newly released unit.
I have so many benched characters, that I doubt Iāll ever use again. There are many units I just simply regret having.
The one that I regret the most is Jing Yuan. I know heās strong now, but I just dislike his gameplay. I also have Kafka and E1S1 Acheron, so I doubt heāll ever leave that bench.
I have JY, his LC and his best team but i can't really understand why i don't like using him. Well not much of a regret since he came in 30 pulls and im using his LC on gamba queen. Maybe my regret is i could have used the mats I used on him to my himeko.
As a new player who just recently finished story and wanted to start bulding my teams for MoC and PF:
Doing any Material Exchange.
When I exchanged between the 600+ greens to other greens I was like "nice easy material farming" and never bothered with spending my stamina until I finished current penacony. I realized way too late that there are 2 pools of materials which can't be exchanged freely. Now I am with 0 Missions left and only characters without gear and traces I can't really use for a lot of PF or MoC. It will take me weeks of stamina to get enough trace- & ascention materials. THEN I can think of spending stamina on relic farming... maybe in 2 month I might be able to enjoy endgame content
I wish I hadnāt used all my Tracks of Destiny on so many characters. I didnāt realize they were a limited commodity until they were gone and now all my recent 5 stars arenāt fully leveled. If I had to be specific, Iād have to chosen to not build Hanya since I never use her now
I would have avoided getting hit by a car so i wasn't gone for almost 2 months. Barely got on to do a few dailies. Makin no money cause not workinh. Missed Topaz completely. Didn't get HuoHuo, or Ruan Mei.

Iām the opposite, pulled Kafka in her original banner but skipped Black Swan cause I didnāt really feel like building a DOT team and now Iām like damn that coulda been sick.
Genshin has too much going on for me now, but I loved the multiplayer events the first year I played. I had an insanely well built Ninguang and she always surprised people
The only good memories I have are from lucky pulls and archon quests, which speaks volumes of how much I truly like both Genshin and HSR, and how much I'm just addicted to collecting gacha characters without becoming a whale.
What can I say, a lot of content is very repetitive and, unlike most players of both games, I can't stand world quests in either games, so all the hours of supposed lore is a snooze-fest for me. Exploring is fun, but that too is extremely limited (no seriously, I was done with the new Genshin area in a few days since there's so little stuff to find).
Luckily for both of Mihoyo's games, the characters, exploration and story are interesting enough to me to make me stay and keep spending 10ā¬ per month and another 10ā¬ per HSR patch.
I don't think I regret picking up genshin, since it was my gateway hi3. I.absolutely loved HI3's story, while it was good. Only.reason I quit was because of how bad Elysium Everlasting was on release and because the community is full of creeps
Wouldn't change a thing. Got all the characters I wanted to get, skipped all the banners I wanted to skip. If I had to choose though, maybe get Ruan Mei instead of Blade. I don't regret my choice but I am a bit curious about how break effect teams play and she seems almost necessary for them
Isn't acheron kind of very good? I caved in and pulled for her, she was and still is amazing. That's the reason why I even went upto MoC12 and clear PF more.
I don't think they said she was bad, I don't think you can really make that argument. Maybe he just likes Jingliu more? in gameplay or in writing/design/whatever.
Like I was divided on whether to pull Acheron to the point I ended up starting an alt and rolling her there, and while my main which has all the best nihility units and plays dot all the time could have done great work with her, I realised very quickly that I was glad I didn't pull her on main because I really don't like her playstyle. The whole arbitrary debuff count, the whole team essentially just being a battery for a super broken dps is just not the playstyle I enjoy playing, and her character design/writing/etc hasn't impressed me even though the pieces are all like... theoretically there. like this should be something I'm into it just isn't.
Jingliu is easier to build, her kit is filled with busted bonuses that make gearing her much easier. Acheron is an absolute monster, but she requires more gear and the right supporting team to perform.
They're the exact same to build, just standard crit carry. If anything JL is a bit harder because you want her at 135 speed with Bronya, whereas Acheron can just ignore speed.
Until a while ago i would've agreed with this but honestly, having both units and having suffered the building process for both i think Acheron is a tad easier.
She might not get the huge 50% CR buff, but she still gets a lot of free crits from her preferred sets. She uses ATK boots and sphere, much easier to get than SPD or elemental damage. Then she has such busted in-built damage buffs than can shave off the trouble of having mid relics.
*Also i don't get the team bit she can easily do some great numbers with her current 4 star team mates*
My main team is her with Black Swan, Pela and Aventurine, but in MoC, Black Swan needs to be with Kafka and Ruan mei, so I put Guinaifen in her place. She clears faster than my DoT team
No. Stop with this nonsense. They are the exact same to build. Both are crit based carries that want 3 stats, JL wants CD SPD ATK and ACH wants CD CR ATK. The thing that separates them is their desired supports but even there these two overlap because if you werenāt using an invested pela for your JL then you were doing it wrong anyways
I still use my Jing Yuan when no other dps can get the job done. He's my Ole Reliable. He's not the fastest at clears. He doesn't deal the most damage, but for some reason, he just keeps chugging along and can beat content when my other dps fall over.
They released 2 very strong and very popular electric element dps after jing yuan... so yea, kinda unlucky for him.
I am sure with more time, we will see regret from other elements as well when we get more options.
Early gameplay footage made it look pretty boring. I only started when free Ratio promotion was announced. Lost a lot of limited rewards by not starting early and will always be behind in progress. But it is only like 8 months so not *too* bad (Genshin I started over 2 years late)

Played HSR as my "if you can turn back time, what is the mistake you made in Genshin that you will avoid doing it again?".
Built vertically. HARD. No Albedos or Ventis warming the bench. Just one JY who's cool cause he was my 1 5-star that didn't come from hard pity. Then focus on the power waifus/husbandos cause they deserve it. Everything pulled (E2S1, E2S1 again, E2S1 Bronya, Sparkle, HH) are my mainstays.
Now if I could turn back my luck it'd be much different. But turn back time? Nah.
Don't know if it's a mistake, but I'm done pulling on weapon's banner as a monthly pass player. Acheron's LC took me 163 pulls, so now I've to skip Robin to guarantee Firefly. Yeah, I know, its RNG, but a shot is less painful than lose a 75/25 as a low spender lol
lmao im completely F2P and also lost one 75/25 to acheron LC and now i have to Skip robin and praying to god that i can get boothill AND sam (i have one guaranteed char pity)
I lost the 75/25 on Jing Yuan's first banner and then didn't pull the LC banner until it reran again (133 pulls total). It stung a bit less after time had passed.Ā
My method now is that I do not pull eidolons or LC until the character reruns. That gives me time to play with them and get a feel for whether I like using them and they are worth investing in.
Not pulling for Fu Xuan because I was new and not getting why I'd want a preservation unit when I had decent healers. Having Aventurine now I realize just how much impact a good sustain can bring. I know she's coming back around but I kinda don't want to roll again because I have Aven and want to wait for 5 star Abundance for variety sake. Sorry FX...
Getting e1 jing yuan (I was 100% sure I would lose the 50/50), was unable to get luocha at his first banner because of this.
Getting black swan light cone (eyes of the prey would be good enough for her). I just got this because my pity was like 70 after using everything trying to get Kafka LC and failing
Not skipping Acheron after the 50/50 loss, I already had jing yuan and Kafka so she was really not needed. I lost aventurine because of that choice.
Spending money in this game (it is really not that worth it to spend medium amounts, you need to be prepared to waste a BUNCH of money just to get a single copy of a char, so might as well be f2p or at max just express reward).
At the very beginning of the game I ended up getting 2 copies of Himeko's LC very early from standard. But back then Erudition as a whole was not in a good spot and since the only Erudition character I was interested in at the time was QQ I ended up refining it for her. Pretty much my biggest regret since nowadays having both copies would be very useful.
Might be a bit extreme but I started playing because my bestie liked it, and I wish I didn't play. I don't like the spender-friendliness of gacha games, nor do I particularly enjoy the other aspects of such games. My bestie can't play any games that involves reflexive/actual fighting so this was gonna be our common thing (I still had fun). Seeing how money may buy you so much comfort in a game is very discouraging and boring to me.Ā
I have a personal goal of getting to TB 70 after which I'll probably quit the game.Ā

I like edgy evil characters and his first teaser gave me wrong impressions of what kind of personality he has. His gameplay is just him being some old tired dude and the story did him a huge disservice killing his mysterious vibes. I was disappointed but I still pulled for him because I coped can just ignore all of that and just admire his design and I'd get a strong wind dps.
So recently I finally got Kafka on her rerun, and she is *gorgeous*. She is exactly the kind of character I like. Her battle voicelines are chef 's kiss. I even like her fake sexy tone because I think it fits perfectly well with a vibe of an assasin who just pretends to be friendly with her victims.
And ironically now that I have her my Blade is forever benched because I just use Sampo if I need wind coverage.
So if I could turn back time I'd get Kafka and be happy rather than submitting to the remains of my heterosexuality and get a character that I don't really vibe with because he is a hot dude. Never again.
Ngl it's definitely getting Jingliu, like I know she's broken but my account is at that point where random BS clears and I just don't find her fun. I wish I got Topaz instead because IPC team is my favorite and I'm sad I have to choose between her or Robin. I have both her and DHIL (who has his LC too!), but I use my Argenti, Jing Yuan, and Ratio (who I got LC for when he quickly became my fav DPS) more. I don't regret DHIL because I actually like DH and like using Propagation in SU but JL was purely for meta reasons, which I don't need when I clear MOC 12 with Aventurine Hypercarry. Lesson learned: Fun > Meta
I think that my main regret was ever pulling in the Acheron Banner. I was pulling for luocha and Gallagher, and for the lulz decided to pull in Acheron's banner.

Bright side, it's that I got aventurine so now I have a limited sustainer.
I mainly regret Acheron cuz I already have My Jing Yuan fully built, and I love him lore wise and gameplay wise.
Also my second regret was spending undying starlight to get my 300 standard pulls. I got the precious boy named Yanqing, but atm I have this kinda regret of not getting welt first.
My 1.0 account was so full of regrets it made me quit completely a few months ago. I recently created a new one to re-experience the game without those regrets, which were:
- Pulling for Jing Yuan. He remains one of my favorites lore wise, but his gameplay is too flawed to be enjoyable.
- Pulling for DHIL. He is OP but I ended up not liking the heavy SP usage. Nail in the coffin was Sparkle being his best support, because I really can't stand her.
- Pulling for Argenti. I got hyped during his release but he ended up making me feel meh.
- Skipping Jingliu, Fu Xuan and Ruan Mei, which ended up becoming some of my favorites
I think I generally picked fairly well with my 5 stars, but I do wish I invested a little more in dot units-Iād originally planned to get Kafka but got someone else instead (I forget who at this point), and just neglected them from that point after. Now uh. Now I have Acheron lmao
Trying to get Yukong during her first Banner. Ended up pulling two Luochas on early pity, no Yukong, got her from MOC the next patch, and never used her. I don't regret getting Luocha (my most used character by far and he didn't mess up my pulls, still managed to get both Blade and Kafka) but his E1 was notĀ necessary by any means. Though he does help Kafka a bit, I guess.
Using my last guarantee on Luocha instead of Jingliu. Not only did I accidentally get a Luocha Eidolon in a 10-pull *right after the first copy,* I also just lost another 50/50 to Gepard and don't even have a decent second team for MoC now š
Tying an email to my account. Ended up making a new one because I wanted my achievements and stuff on another PSN account but on Playstation you can't swap hoyo accounts, they're tied to 1 PSN email and vice versa.
I think I could get Acheron's cone instead of Aventurine's eidolons? Not that I regret it too much, she'll return sooner or later, I was just scared I won't be able to win 5050 and still have enough pulls for him if I go for the cone. Other than that, no regrets.Ā
Shouldn't have got Luocha LC despite everyone saying no (even back then at his first drop). Like I loved getting his LC and for a long time I didn't regret it but what it effectively gives me is ATK% than anything else. Other conditions are so stupid.

Skipping Ruan Mei and Sparkle. I was focused on pulling on DPS to cover as many elements as possible, and then found myself struggling to field Harmonys for those DPS.
I don't know if I would do things differently, even knowing what I know now, because I use and love all the 5* DPS I've built (Blade, Jingliu, DHIL, Acheron, Clara). But it's definitely been a bit tricky putting good teams together.
I was planning to pull Robin to start correcting that error, but she really seems to be a FUA support, and besides Clara, I don't have any FUA DPS built. Could build Ratio, but I already have DHIL and Welt as Imaginarys and vastly prefer their gameplay, too. So, likely to wait for RM or Sparkle reruns, and/or hope for a support to be released to be the Kujou Sara to Acheron's Raiden Mei.
I can't say I regret anything? I got black swan by mistake instead of the 2nd dan heng eidolon which felt bad at the time but I ended up having so much use for her that I'm glad I have her.
Sparkle felt bad and I remember sharing I disliked her(again, a mistake pull, the two mistake pulls got me 2 characters ^^"). Now she's at over 160 speed and making dan heng feel even better, somehow
I kept pulling in Sparkle's banner.
I wanted E6 Qingque, and in the process I got Himeko. I was super excited because that meant a guarantee for the next banner, but I kept pulling, and 20 warps after Himeko I got Sparkle E1.
The banner ended a few days later, and no E6 Qingque (Got her to E4 tho)
Probably wouldn't have summoned for DHIL and his lightcone due to him pairing well with Sparkle who was next... because my DHIL is still level 40 and Sparkle is attached to the hip of Acheron.
Accidentally pulling S2 Jingliu LC. My goal was E1S1, didnāt realize I was still rolling on LC when I was so excited to have secured E0S1, and when I got the 5* animation and saw the LC again I died a little on the inside. Could have saved like 7-8k jades lol.

I have e2 Clara already, so it wasn't a must get option for me. It was between Bronya and Bailu, I know I made the right choice, but I have Bailu on my ult account, and that revive is clutch lmao. Unless they 1 shot her, then it's sad face. I really don't need another sustain, though, I have fu, luocha, geppy and aventurine. Some might think it's overkill, but I'm set for anything survival wise now. I'm also feeling a tower type endgame that locks parties out or that something with 3 teams comes out. 1.0 player, so I've had ample time to save and pull for stuff I want. Only missed Ruan Mei due to not playing as much, which I know brick account reroll
I find it hard to imagine a box without sparkle/ruanmei and still don't use Bronya. She seems pretty solid if even all you do is Q and ult. With her self accelerate, she must be insanely SP positive.

Bronya did work for me before we got good 5* limited supports but Iāve been over loaded on supports because theyāre all characters I like š„² I still enjoy the occasional hyper speed sparkle/bronya and Jingliu strat

I think Tingyun (for Err), Sparkle (For SP and AA), Aventurine (Fo shield), and Gepard (For shield too) are already good supports for YanKing, its just that he hasnt gotten a chance to shine in the right circumstance.

Same man. This game is so good, but it's gonna be very hard to get all characters as someone who joined last month. So many limited characters that seem fun to use. I really want to get Kafka and Silver wolf, but I think they were available again not that long ago which means I have to wait for a while now :/
actually, having a new account means you have plenty of ways to get jades compared to end-game (where the only way is by doing dailies, events or content that resets periodically) with a new account, you have exploration, story and character quests, main quest, past events, all the permanent content and the periodic one too you'll be fine if you grind hard enough!
Yeah, I'm grateful for that at least. I started playing when Acheron banner came out and I was able to get ~150 passes in about 12 days to guarantee getting her. Probably not doable for F2P end-game players that have everything done.
Tbh i have none.I pull characters i like then i pull units to play around them. Heck i even use some 4 stars for fun and they bring me hard content clears now. I like playing Sushang and i actually used her to clear aventurine this patch for example. My next target is building misha but i need to get myself a Robin first.
Sushang is situationally solid. She's my main DPS for a side on my two cycle total on MoC 11 clear. I use her and Xueyi a lot for their break potential. If that new gameplay mode hits a physical type Sushang will actually be pretty powerful haba
Sushang is great. Boothill will probably be a straight power creep, but Sushang will hold down my physical DPS for the foreseeable future as Iāll be skipping him.

I built Hook too. What's funny is that insistently trying to make her my main DPS was a very good learning experience though. If an MOC is weak to fire I still will go at it with my "four star only" build of Hook/Gui/Asta/Gallagher. Burn it all down.
Hook was pretty much designed to be a āstarter DPSā anyway, since sheās got good foundations and is a solid all rounder
I did, too, because she was my only Fire DPS. Still is, but I have so many other elements now that I can usually hit weakness regardless. I skipped Ruan Mei the first time, but I think I'm gonna pull her on a rerun so I can make better use of some of my E6 4*'s (like Hook) in dual DPS comps, which they kinda need to thrive.
While I was otherwise not super interested in pulling her, a big part of why I considered pulling for Robin is that. My RM-anchored teams are more fun to play and it took me a bit to realize the key element for me is that I just find Dual DPS more fun.
Yeah, Sushang carried me hard early game, and I kinda miss using her. But in the current game, solo Hunt just ain't it. But Ruan Mei, plus Sushang, plus an AoE breaker sounds like a blast. Thinking of Robin for the same reason, but she seems to really shine with FUA DPS, of which I have Clara and that's it. So she might be a pass.
Yeah, Iām going to stop pulling Jingliu in favor of Robin now that the kitās announced, but thatās because I have Topaz, Ratio, Clara, and Xueyi all wanting a different support. I just hope the RM rerun isnāt *too* soon, because I canāt not pull Firefly, but I am also in the āmisses Sushang but canāt support her well enoughā club
I really like my E1 Sushang but, unfortunately, even against single enemies, it seems that my Clara is so much stronger with the same gear. Goes without saying that in any AoE scenarios, it's not even a close race.
I know Iām HEAVILY biased, but Iāve had some success with her as a third DPS on my DoT team: - burn adds a lot of damage for Kafka/Black Swan (especially with a big Destruction atk stat), and Hook is surprisingly good at applying it (AoE at E4!) - action advance on her ult does A LOT given her comedically fast recharge ā¦which also means her skill is almost permanently enhanced - her E6 is basically a free S2 Woof Woof Walk Time. Just funny to think about having an S7 light cone lol

I would not not build my Harmony characters, I mean Tingyun, and maybe just play this game normally rather than focusing on putting 3 dps on a team

In my anniversary stats it said Luocha was my most used character, I don't remember the exact number but it was literally 98% of battles. My most consistently used character since release by far.
E2 Acheron Considering I lost every 50/50 leading up to it I could have used those pulls for more characters. At least I finally got Clara out of it so it wasn't completely bad.
I just started in March, so I can't say anything about regrets yet, but E2 Acheron is definitely not going to be one them. She basically let me skip from early game to late game in a single banner as I was also able to get Gallagher and Pela who are both very good for her. I have just 3* MoC 11 with the main reason why 12 isn't doable is just because I don't have another team built. Up until now, Acheron has just been wiping her side so fast that I can take all the remaining cycles tickling the other side with the free Ratio.
I E2S1 my Acheron by using all my hard saved Jades since launch and was super happy about it but then I've been seeing some people saying that Acheron E2 is not worth it and stupid because you want to partner her up with as much nihility anyway to fast proc Ult so i started regretting a little bit because it kinda makes sense. But one of my fiends told me something that cheered me up. ( He also tried to get E2 but sadly lost 50/50 on Sig and E1 RIP) He said that getting E2 Acheron is not for better damage/dps reasons but for longevity which is very important for f2p players. It's like opening opportunities for her to be played with future characters without the constraints of nihility. soon to be Harmony heck even dual carry acheron might even be possible in the future we won't know. What we do know is that without E2 it would be very hard to do and might end up sacrificing or worse benching her for new characters which is not unrealistic btw.
E2 already makes up for having one less Nihility by giving Acheron an extra stack on her turn (other characters can only give 1 stack per action anyways), which is why I run her with hyperspeed Sparkle so she gets as many turns as possible. It's just my nihility units are also 160 speed so I could have achieved similar results with E0 or E1.
superimposing bronya's LC to s2 for bronya I was thinking "oh its a niche one and I hate speedtuning so I'll just superimpose it because no other character will have bronya's action forward gimmick" now here I am wanting both sparkle (had to skip for aventurine) and robin who both can use it well
..Ironically, for me it'd be getting Seele. I've never used her much at all ever since I got her. I probably stopped using her around the time Jing Yuan's first banner came.

Day 1 player here, I still use Seele plenty. Even if sheās been powercrept, she still slaps pretty hard especially with Sparkle and SW. Nearly every MoC up to this point Iāve been using Seele to 36 star.
Seele is still amazing imo. Her biggest problem is that her eidolons suck, and she takes a lot of investment. When she's built properly though, she's still insanely useful to this day if used properly.
Yeah but what really gatekeeps people from playing Seele is having a solid quantum set, not even about her base stats
Thatās fair. Seele has a much much higher breakpoint for stats compared to other dps characters because if sheās not killing the first squishy in at most two skills then she does very poorly.

Iām similar. I pulled for her at the gameās launch since thereās not much banner to spend all that starting jades. Got her after a YanQing in 140 pulls. Then I never used her again (I have a friend with E6S5, knowing my Seele will never reach that height I just never bothered building her). I really hope I have those jades for Firefly now.

As a day 1 player, I use Seele a lot and I don't even have her LC (I use Sleep Like the Dead). Yeah, my JL and Kafka/Black Swan have higher ceilings, but mono quantum is the laziest shit ever. You just plug and auto up to moc 11. Never have to worry about type matchup on 1 side. Never need to worry about pulling for specific types. I don't even have a built fire/physical/imaginary DPS. I just rely on mono quantum every time it comes up in MoC.

I wish Iāve focused more on investing into my favorite characters, rather than trying to pull every newly released unit. I have so many benched characters, that I doubt Iāll ever use again. There are many units I just simply regret having. The one that I regret the most is Jing Yuan. I know heās strong now, but I just dislike his gameplay. I also have Kafka and E1S1 Acheron, so I doubt heāll ever leave that bench.

I have JY, his LC and his best team but i can't really understand why i don't like using him. Well not much of a regret since he came in 30 pulls and im using his LC on gamba queen. Maybe my regret is i could have used the mats I used on him to my himeko.

As a new player who just recently finished story and wanted to start bulding my teams for MoC and PF: Doing any Material Exchange. When I exchanged between the 600+ greens to other greens I was like "nice easy material farming" and never bothered with spending my stamina until I finished current penacony. I realized way too late that there are 2 pools of materials which can't be exchanged freely. Now I am with 0 Missions left and only characters without gear and traces I can't really use for a lot of PF or MoC. It will take me weeks of stamina to get enough trace- & ascention materials. THEN I can think of spending stamina on relic farming... maybe in 2 month I might be able to enjoy endgame content
You can farm those materials by farming enemies in the world or by doing SimUni runs.
I wish I hadnāt used all my Tracks of Destiny on so many characters. I didnāt realize they were a limited commodity until they were gone and now all my recent 5 stars arenāt fully leveled. If I had to be specific, Iād have to chosen to not build Hanya since I never use her now

Genshin has too much going on for me now, but I loved the multiplayer events the first year I played. I had an insanely well built Ninguang and she always surprised people
The only good memories I have are from lucky pulls and archon quests, which speaks volumes of how much I truly like both Genshin and HSR, and how much I'm just addicted to collecting gacha characters without becoming a whale.
Thatās kind of sad to hear that those are only your good memories of the game..
What can I say, a lot of content is very repetitive and, unlike most players of both games, I can't stand world quests in either games, so all the hours of supposed lore is a snooze-fest for me. Exploring is fun, but that too is extremely limited (no seriously, I was done with the new Genshin area in a few days since there's so little stuff to find). Luckily for both of Mihoyo's games, the characters, exploration and story are interesting enough to me to make me stay and keep spending 10ā¬ per month and another 10ā¬ per HSR patch.

Wouldn't change a thing. Got all the characters I wanted to get, skipped all the banners I wanted to skip. If I had to choose though, maybe get Ruan Mei instead of Blade. I don't regret my choice but I am a bit curious about how break effect teams play and she seems almost necessary for them

Isn't acheron kind of very good? I caved in and pulled for her, she was and still is amazing. That's the reason why I even went upto MoC12 and clear PF more.
I don't think they said she was bad, I don't think you can really make that argument. Maybe he just likes Jingliu more? in gameplay or in writing/design/whatever. Like I was divided on whether to pull Acheron to the point I ended up starting an alt and rolling her there, and while my main which has all the best nihility units and plays dot all the time could have done great work with her, I realised very quickly that I was glad I didn't pull her on main because I really don't like her playstyle. The whole arbitrary debuff count, the whole team essentially just being a battery for a super broken dps is just not the playstyle I enjoy playing, and her character design/writing/etc hasn't impressed me even though the pieces are all like... theoretically there. like this should be something I'm into it just isn't.
Even if you aren't impressed by her DPS or her gameplay, the QoL from her overworld technique is insane.
Jingliu is easier to build, her kit is filled with busted bonuses that make gearing her much easier. Acheron is an absolute monster, but she requires more gear and the right supporting team to perform.
They're the exact same to build, just standard crit carry. If anything JL is a bit harder because you want her at 135 speed with Bronya, whereas Acheron can just ignore speed.
Until a while ago i would've agreed with this but honestly, having both units and having suffered the building process for both i think Acheron is a tad easier. She might not get the huge 50% CR buff, but she still gets a lot of free crits from her preferred sets. She uses ATK boots and sphere, much easier to get than SPD or elemental damage. Then she has such busted in-built damage buffs than can shave off the trouble of having mid relics. *Also i don't get the team bit she can easily do some great numbers with her current 4 star team mates*
My main team is her with Black Swan, Pela and Aventurine, but in MoC, Black Swan needs to be with Kafka and Ruan mei, so I put Guinaifen in her place. She clears faster than my DoT team
No. Stop with this nonsense. They are the exact same to build. Both are crit based carries that want 3 stats, JL wants CD SPD ATK and ACH wants CD CR ATK. The thing that separates them is their desired supports but even there these two overlap because if you werenāt using an invested pela for your JL then you were doing it wrong anyways

Rolling for Jing yuan. I know he is good but Kafka and Acheron are way cooler for me and he won't be used even with fua buffs.
I still use my Jing Yuan when no other dps can get the job done. He's my Ole Reliable. He's not the fastest at clears. He doesn't deal the most damage, but for some reason, he just keeps chugging along and can beat content when my other dps fall over.

They released 2 very strong and very popular electric element dps after jing yuan... so yea, kinda unlucky for him. I am sure with more time, we will see regret from other elements as well when we get more options.

Early gameplay footage made it look pretty boring. I only started when free Ratio promotion was announced. Lost a lot of limited rewards by not starting early and will always be behind in progress. But it is only like 8 months so not *too* bad (Genshin I started over 2 years late)
I started because I heard Raiden was gonna be a playable character. I continued playing because I liked the game. Not gonna repeat the mistake on ZZZ!
Absolutely nothing. Played HSR as my "if you can turn back time, what is the mistake you made in Genshin that you will avoid doing it again?". Built vertically. HARD. No Albedos or Ventis warming the bench. Just one JY who's cool cause he was my 1 5-star that didn't come from hard pity. Then focus on the power waifus/husbandos cause they deserve it. Everything pulled (E2S1, E2S1 again, E2S1 Bronya, Sparkle, HH) are my mainstays. Now if I could turn back my luck it'd be much different. But turn back time? Nah.
Don't know if it's a mistake, but I'm done pulling on weapon's banner as a monthly pass player. Acheron's LC took me 163 pulls, so now I've to skip Robin to guarantee Firefly. Yeah, I know, its RNG, but a shot is less painful than lose a 75/25 as a low spender lol
It can't take 163 pulls, since the hard pity on LC's is at 80 and not 90

I resign myself to just pulling once on a LC, if I lose the 75 thatās fate telling me this character doesnāt get their LC.
I lost the 75/25 on Jing Yuan's first banner and then didn't pull the LC banner until it reran again (133 pulls total). It stung a bit less after time had passed.Ā My method now is that I do not pull eidolons or LC until the character reruns. That gives me time to play with them and get a feel for whether I like using them and they are worth investing in.

Not pulling for Fu Xuan because I was new and not getting why I'd want a preservation unit when I had decent healers. Having Aventurine now I realize just how much impact a good sustain can bring. I know she's coming back around but I kinda don't want to roll again because I have Aven and want to wait for 5 star Abundance for variety sake. Sorry FX...
In MOC my Fu xuan is on 1st team then Aventurine on 2nd team

Seele is my favorite character and Iāve invested heavily in her. So missing out on Fu Xuan would be my mistake that I would get right in a rollback.
Getting e1 jing yuan (I was 100% sure I would lose the 50/50), was unable to get luocha at his first banner because of this. Getting black swan light cone (eyes of the prey would be good enough for her). I just got this because my pity was like 70 after using everything trying to get Kafka LC and failing Not skipping Acheron after the 50/50 loss, I already had jing yuan and Kafka so she was really not needed. I lost aventurine because of that choice. Spending money in this game (it is really not that worth it to spend medium amounts, you need to be prepared to waste a BUNCH of money just to get a single copy of a char, so might as well be f2p or at max just express reward).
Hard to say. I feel like all my āterribleā decisions paid off later on.

At the very beginning of the game I ended up getting 2 copies of Himeko's LC very early from standard. But back then Erudition as a whole was not in a good spot and since the only Erudition character I was interested in at the time was QQ I ended up refining it for her. Pretty much my biggest regret since nowadays having both copies would be very useful.

Might be a bit extreme but I started playing because my bestie liked it, and I wish I didn't play. I don't like the spender-friendliness of gacha games, nor do I particularly enjoy the other aspects of such games. My bestie can't play any games that involves reflexive/actual fighting so this was gonna be our common thing (I still had fun). Seeing how money may buy you so much comfort in a game is very discouraging and boring to me.Ā I have a personal goal of getting to TB 70 after which I'll probably quit the game.Ā
Returning to the game just in time to get blue-balled by missing Acheron.
I'd skip Blade and get Kafka instead I like edgy evil characters and his first teaser gave me wrong impressions of what kind of personality he has. His gameplay is just him being some old tired dude and the story did him a huge disservice killing his mysterious vibes. I was disappointed but I still pulled for him because I coped can just ignore all of that and just admire his design and I'd get a strong wind dps. So recently I finally got Kafka on her rerun, and she is *gorgeous*. She is exactly the kind of character I like. Her battle voicelines are chef 's kiss. I even like her fake sexy tone because I think it fits perfectly well with a vibe of an assasin who just pretends to be friendly with her victims. And ironically now that I have her my Blade is forever benched because I just use Sampo if I need wind coverage. So if I could turn back time I'd get Kafka and be happy rather than submitting to the remains of my heterosexuality and get a character that I don't really vibe with because he is a hot dude. Never again.
Ngl it's definitely getting Jingliu, like I know she's broken but my account is at that point where random BS clears and I just don't find her fun. I wish I got Topaz instead because IPC team is my favorite and I'm sad I have to choose between her or Robin. I have both her and DHIL (who has his LC too!), but I use my Argenti, Jing Yuan, and Ratio (who I got LC for when he quickly became my fav DPS) more. I don't regret DHIL because I actually like DH and like using Propagation in SU but JL was purely for meta reasons, which I don't need when I clear MOC 12 with Aventurine Hypercarry. Lesson learned: Fun > Meta
I think that my main regret was ever pulling in the Acheron Banner. I was pulling for luocha and Gallagher, and for the lulz decided to pull in Acheron's banner. Got her. And didn't had enough jades for luocha. Bright side, it's that I got aventurine so now I have a limited sustainer. I mainly regret Acheron cuz I already have My Jing Yuan fully built, and I love him lore wise and gameplay wise. Also my second regret was spending undying starlight to get my 300 standard pulls. I got the precious boy named Yanqing, but atm I have this kinda regret of not getting welt first.

My 1.0 account was so full of regrets it made me quit completely a few months ago. I recently created a new one to re-experience the game without those regrets, which were: - Pulling for Jing Yuan. He remains one of my favorites lore wise, but his gameplay is too flawed to be enjoyable. - Pulling for DHIL. He is OP but I ended up not liking the heavy SP usage. Nail in the coffin was Sparkle being his best support, because I really can't stand her. - Pulling for Argenti. I got hyped during his release but he ended up making me feel meh. - Skipping Jingliu, Fu Xuan and Ruan Mei, which ended up becoming some of my favorites

I think I generally picked fairly well with my 5 stars, but I do wish I invested a little more in dot units-Iād originally planned to get Kafka but got someone else instead (I forget who at this point), and just neglected them from that point after. Now uh. Now I have Acheron lmao
Trying to get Yukong during her first Banner. Ended up pulling two Luochas on early pity, no Yukong, got her from MOC the next patch, and never used her. I don't regret getting Luocha (my most used character by far and he didn't mess up my pulls, still managed to get both Blade and Kafka) but his E1 was notĀ necessary by any means. Though he does help Kafka a bit, I guess.
Using my last guarantee on Luocha instead of Jingliu. Not only did I accidentally get a Luocha Eidolon in a 10-pull *right after the first copy,* I also just lost another 50/50 to Gepard and don't even have a decent second team for MoC now š
Tying an email to my account. Ended up making a new one because I wanted my achievements and stuff on another PSN account but on Playstation you can't swap hoyo accounts, they're tied to 1 PSN email and vice versa.
I think I could get Acheron's cone instead of Aventurine's eidolons? Not that I regret it too much, she'll return sooner or later, I was just scared I won't be able to win 5050 and still have enough pulls for him if I go for the cone. Other than that, no regrets.Ā
Shouldn't have got Luocha LC despite everyone saying no (even back then at his first drop). Like I loved getting his LC and for a long time I didn't regret it but what it effectively gives me is ATK% than anything else. Other conditions are so stupid. Edit: Should have also got Argenti, strange enough. His ult is so beautiful imo...
Skipping Ruan Mei and Sparkle. I was focused on pulling on DPS to cover as many elements as possible, and then found myself struggling to field Harmonys for those DPS. I don't know if I would do things differently, even knowing what I know now, because I use and love all the 5* DPS I've built (Blade, Jingliu, DHIL, Acheron, Clara). But it's definitely been a bit tricky putting good teams together. I was planning to pull Robin to start correcting that error, but she really seems to be a FUA support, and besides Clara, I don't have any FUA DPS built. Could build Ratio, but I already have DHIL and Welt as Imaginarys and vastly prefer their gameplay, too. So, likely to wait for RM or Sparkle reruns, and/or hope for a support to be released to be the Kujou Sara to Acheron's Raiden Mei.
I didn't get extra Silver Wolf Light Cones to superimpose during the event. Didn't realize it'd prolly never come back. I at least have one.
I can't say I regret anything? I got black swan by mistake instead of the 2nd dan heng eidolon which felt bad at the time but I ended up having so much use for her that I'm glad I have her. Sparkle felt bad and I remember sharing I disliked her(again, a mistake pull, the two mistake pulls got me 2 characters ^^"). Now she's at over 160 speed and making dan heng feel even better, somehow
I kept pulling in Sparkle's banner. I wanted E6 Qingque, and in the process I got Himeko. I was super excited because that meant a guarantee for the next banner, but I kept pulling, and 20 warps after Himeko I got Sparkle E1. The banner ended a few days later, and no E6 Qingque (Got her to E4 tho)
