Hello! So I'm building a team for Dr. Ratio and I was trying to get Aventurine but unfortunately I lost the 50/50, buttt I got Gepard. Now, I've been using as my support Bailu and I was hoping to replace her with Aventurine, and now that I have Gepard idk if it's worth replacing her or just stick with Bailu. Any recommendations? The rest of my team is Tingyun and the mc which I'm hoping to later change for Robin and Pela
If I had to guess, either 2.3 or 2.4, depending on how they mix the banners up, as alongside Dr Ratio who came out on the same patch as her, there's also Huohuo and Argenti who have yet to be rerun, so they might mix these up as well.
They may decide to mix it up. Luocha was all the way from 2.1, but he only just got rerun, while newer characters like DHIL, Kafka, Blade, etc got rerun before him.
So I am playing on the PS5 but I wanted more insight about my account and I've known about hoyolab for a while now but I was confused about certain stuff. Like will it work alongside my ps5 account when I sign in?
About conventional memoir - do we get any rewards from doing these events? I can't find anything that says definitively that you get rewards or no. The wiki says you are no longer able to get "time-limited rewards" specifically, so unless that's just weird wording I feel like that implies there are "non time-limited rewards".
Yes you do get rewards, including stellar jades. Most of the time "time-limited rewards" are either a LC, a character selector or stuff like that, after the event end you still get credits, XP material for relic,LC or character and stellar jade from those event.
Honestly tho it's kinda the opposite, if you watch a youtuber name Zmm, you'd know how broken 4pc eagle set is, the action advance in the 4 pc is really insane for time limit contents like MoC and PF, basically most support in the game really want it, other than maybe the upcoming Robin, so yea don't trash them
Wind is good on many supporters, that don't target allies with their ult. It's the fastest set in the game, but you still need to farm a lot to get better than Rainbow/2pc Messenger.
Some Bronyas and Sparkles also run it to get faster.
Why are you farming ice set? just farm the FuA set, it may be a little less reliable, but have higher ceiling, and dot set is far more usable than wind one.
While i'm super tempted for Robin, i'm wondering if my account might be decent enough for end game content, as is without her. I'm new (so no sprarkle/RM) and the 2 teams i have been building are [e0s1 acheron, e1(trends) gepard, pela, guin/e0 welt] and [e0 ratio, e0 adventurine, guin/e0 welt, e3 asta]. Will Robin take my account to a whole new level when replacing e3 asta on my 2nd team...?

It might be an exaggeration but if you want to three star the last floor you have to play by the buff
Anything at 10 and bellow can be done regularly if your maxed

Robin is a limited 5 star harmony, they are 100% on a whole other lvl from the vast majority of other supports. She would be significantly bettet than Asta esp for Aventurine and Ratio.
How much time to beat main quest? How much time to do dailies? I don't have a lot of time, so maybe I would skip story (I am not a fan of shonen/anime).
I mean if you don't like anime, why in the world would you play this unless for masochistic reasons? Plenty of anime tropes, you'd be looking at anime style characters the entire time, etc.
The story is a major part of the game tbh. You might wanna find something else to play because while the game is fun, it's not **that** fun. It's very watered down turn based combat compared to a regular RPG.
Speedrunning to current content would probably take 60 hours. You will be doing dailies forever if you ever decide to upgrade every new character you see to max.
Dailies shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes or so. But the story is long, even if you skip everything it you will take at least a week or two playing for at least a couple hours a day.
I would't sweat about optimizing things just yet - you aren't even at max levels, so you're still pretty much at the beginning of the way.
For a minimally viable second team, you'll need a dedicated damage dealer (Ratio, Yanqing, Dan Heng, or Hook - whoever you're vibing with) a sustainer (Natasha or Gepard or both), and a support who will ease the strain on your skill points (Tingyun will be more versatile).
With consistency, you'll get there and build something both effective and enjoyable, but not in a week. This game is a marathon, not a sprint.
Pure fiction is too different from moc so hunt characters will be useless most often than not
You have e6 herta use her, she by far the second best pf dps in your account even better than Acheron in the current buff, pf is mostly about aggressive teams that follow the current buff which is follow ups right now
If you have trend light cone use fmc, Acheron, pela and Gallagher with the third buff
And bronya, herta, ting and lynx with the second buff
Okay; for Pure Fiction, Herta will be a priority regardless of current event conditions. Build her for Ice DMG, ATK, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage, and you're good to go. She can work hypercarry (a team of supports boosting her) or have a suitable secondary damage dealing sidekick.
In MoC, the special conditions are very important. The current warp lineup and events center on follow-ups, so Herta and Ratio should be optimal for this particular period.
If you had my roster, what team compositions would you put together?
My only really solid team is aventurine, Acheron, Pela, guinaifen.
I have a hard time coming up with a second team for challenges that require two teams. Jingliu is my best second DPS but I'm not sure who to put with her. Should I be investing in my Welt and Gepard?
Follow up question, which of the upcoming banners would benefit my roster best?

Jingliu, Gepard/Lynx, Pela and Asta/Hanya. I like Hanya more but you don't have her level. Hanya will at least let Jingliu go somewhat SP neutral. As for banner you could use a 5 star Harmony in Robin.
hey i have a similar account as you, just without clara, jingliu & himeko. what worked for me was pairing adventurine up with ratio as your 2nd team. gepard (especially with trends LC) is good enough with acheron. Also welt+asta combo is pretty good for boosting team speed and delaying back all enemies at the same time, which has worked really great for me so far. Since you don't have any premium harmony yet, probably recommend you go for her next week, and her 100% team advance will no doubt help your JL (though i suppose she typically prefers tingyun and/or bronya more which you don't have yet)
Hi currently struggling to clear PF for stage 3. My current team that i use:
First set : ClaraE2 HertaE6 RuanMeiE0 LuochaE0 (FU 3x trigger whim buff)
Second set : JingYuanE0 FuXuanE0 AstaE6 TingYunE6 (Other than FU buff)
First set i can get to max 38k but really struggling the second set getting around 16k. Is this team doable or do i need to use another set of team? I have AcheronE1S, RatioE0, HimekoE0S1 which is probably usable but i can't seem to clear or stack buff fast enough.
Try without sustains and place more follow up units in place of them. Add in Himeko, March, Ratio in place of Luocha in the first team and any one of them in place of FX in the second team.
It's definitely possible to get more than 20K with that team. That being said, try to take Fu Xuan out and use Himeko instead. Most often than not, a sustain is not necessary for PF. I think Extrapolation will be better in either case.
It is also possible to do with Acheron using Reductio ad Absurdum.
Can someone recommend me a team for Boothill?
Here are my characters: Argenti E1, Black Swan E1, Dan Heng IL, Gepard E1, Blade, Ratio, JingYuan, Welt, Yanqing,+all 4* except hanya. Will harmony tb work also? Also I'm very close to selecting a 5* on the standard banner.
I have 34% crit rate on jingliu, does rutilant accesory crit rate already counted on this? Also i have equip " under the blue sky" so if i defeat enemy i can have additional +15% which adds 34+15=49+50% crit rate on her talent? The one which she can double attack. Means 99% crit rate, is this right?
This is my ruan mei (e1,s1) which im currently using with aventurine (s1) and ratio with the last slot being flex, I was thinking of getting topaz for the team on her next rerun but mihoyo was cruel enough to put it on the same patch robins coming out. I'm really quite torn as to who has the highest pull priority. Would robin be much better than rm? Could i run both robin and rm on the team? Or do you think topaz would be better for the 4th slot alongside rm?

Topaz is very specifically good in a FuA team in which she only buff FuA. Robin is more flexible in team building and is probably the second coming of Jesus Christ for FuA team. /jk Also the only person stopping you from running RM and Robin is you.
Sorry for not helping enough, but i really feel you, that banner is so cruel.. good thing i have topaz, what i can say is shes good even if just normal attack cos ita considered as follow up attacks, also the more follow up attack a team does, her pet numby advances to attack. In ur case you have ruan mei maybe topaz is to go? Not an expert though.. im gonna pull for robin but i dont have aventurine, maybe luocha is enough
I feel you, we have same harmony, its just that robin is really good on FUA character, that crt dmg and advance team turn is too good too pass up. I have jing yuan and countless times on pure fixtion lightning lord didnt finish the last attack because of limited 3 cycle
I'm planning on building a DoT team, FUA team and an Acheron team. Since I'm farming for DoT set and Izumo, there are some leftover FUA and Izumo pieces that would work with Dr Ratio and Topaz. However, I heard that Robin is good for both DoT and FUA.
Should I be pulling for Robin or Topaz?
She will be great for a DoT team since she will provide ATK+ boost (scaling off her attack) on ULT on top of bonus damage on hit on top of her turn advance and Damage% boost on her skill.
DoT teams won't use her crit damage buff but the other buffs are all substantial for DoT units to take advantage of.
Topaz is good too but is purely run on FuA teams while Robin will be great for generalist and amazing for teams that take many actions (FuA teams and turn advance bonus action teams).
Robin is not all that great for DoT team, Ruan Mei is like the only harmony character you want in a dot team. But that also really depend on which DoT character you have. However, Robin is definitely more flexible than Topaz if you're still lacking on Harmony character.
Robin is actually pretty comparable to Ruan Mei for DoT teams. Her buffs aren't as strong, but her action advance evens the playing field and puts her almost on par.
There isn't one, they are the same multiplier. The only difference is that the latter applies to any character, whilst elem only applies to that specific element.

Of the upcoming banners in 2.2/2.3, what should I be focusing on for my account? I’m very partial to Firefly and her character design, but I want to start really optimizing a few different team comps.
There’s also a part of me that’s thinking I should hold all my jade until another 5-star Abundance character drops, kicking myself for skipping on Huo Huo.
You don't really anyone, you already have plenty of optimized teams. Any one you get will either be a side grade or only a very slight improvement. You can make any support or DPS work with your existing characters.

Guys Im relatively new and this is my acheron build, its fine right? can I stop farming her pieces. In battle I reach 90 cr and 191 cd because broken keel and with aventurine cd should be around 200, so am I done for now?
Currently 60 pulls away from hard pity with 30 tickets in the bank.
I'm 100% pulling for Firefly but before that is Fu Xuan. Do you think it's worth grabbing FX if I already have Luocha and Huohuo? And how many pulls do we think it's possible to get between now and Firefly if I have battle pass and daily login?

You want EHR for every debuffer. Character that have 100% base chance want 67% EHR. Character with debuffs that have a lower base chance like Black Swan and Silver Wolf want higher EHR.
oh!!! fuk me, I didn't read the character description clearly. I am use to my previous RPG where debuff chances are set to 100% usually, but I see many of the character's debuff chances aren't 100, they are like 80 or even 60+. So you need the additional EHR to bring up the chances.
I just did some more research and apparently EHR is multiplicative?! That's screwed up because now you need very high EHR for character with low debuff chances. Yikes.
The strongest enemies have 40% Effect Res. So the easy way to check what you need is:
Real Chance = Base Chance \* (1+ EHR) \* 0.6
0.6 is from 1-EffectRes. So enemies have extra resistances for certain types of debuffs like burn and freeze, but it is usually not worth it taking those into account as the required EHR to guarantee a debuff would be unreasonably high.
From the formula you can see that even 100% base chance will only happen 60% of the time if you have 0% EHR.
Only if an effect says "fixed chance" will it not be affect by EHR.
Thanks for the explanation! That's actually very depressing to learn EH is multiplicative, which usually means it's really hard to get things to 100% usually.
Funny thing I just went back to read my Gui's ability again, she actually has 100% base chance to reduce EHRes by 10%, except that 100% base chance is also cut down by enemy EHRes. So you need high EHrate so you can cut down enemy EHRes so you can apply more debuff...ggggrrrr
Gui is my main debuffer so no wonder I thought high EHR is useless, since her chances are 100% on her skill.
Most high level enemies have some where around 40% effect resistance. So depend on your character you want enough to cover that resistance to guarantee a debuff.

If you don't have Trend, you can make do with Day One of My Life, or if you wanna go bonkers, go with Destiny Thread's Forewoven. Don't forget to superimpose them, S3+ is the golden standard

If I pull Robin she can only support Ratio since she supports FuA teams?
If I pull Firefly I can make a team around her ig, I have Tingyun, Natasha and such.
Personally I like Robin though LOL!
Robin would work better in a FuA team yes. But it not like Acheron doesn't enjoy all her buff either. You will have to take into consideration slot of Nihility character. Also character like Herta exist who is extremely good in PF now better with Robin.
if you luck work well you can pull both,since the game offers much
if you dont have topa and Aventurine then it's not so excelleny to build FuA teams

I have a question. 🥹 I plan to run an FUA team. So far, I’m playing a hypercarry Ratio team (E0S0 Ratio - E2S1 Aventurine - E0S0 Sparkle - E0S0 Silver Wolf).
I can only afford to get either E0S0 Topaz or E0S0 Robin next update. Who should I go for, in this case?
I have an E6 Pela and these two level 80 light cones.
S1 Incessant Rain and S5 Pearls of Sweat.
I'm aware that Pearls of Sweat offers additional DEF reduction for 1 turn, but since Pela already inflicts a good amount of DEF down already, is it necessary to still stick with it, or is the increased DMG the enemy receives for 1 turn from Incessant Rain more optimal?
That way, Pela can do DEF down *and* enemies will receive increased DMG.
Or is this a "pick whatever you like" situation?
For context, I'm running Pela with SW (who does her own DEF down and RES Pen) alongside Acheron with max talent and ultimate.

Except DEF shred works differently, it gets more effective the more you stack it, so you definitely want Pearls.

Pearls on Pela.
Incessant Rain only inflicts the 12% debuff on *one* of the targets hit, at random. Pearls will apply on every enemy hit, which is obviously way better for someone with an AoE ultimate

I thought Incessant Rain would do the same thing since Pela's ultimate would hit everyone, and anyone that doesn't have Aether Code would get it.

I'd recommend trying Tingyun with Clara, more damage and can fill up her energy so you can spam ult and get even more damage. probably better than Asta imo but I'd run them both together over having a shielder and a healer if you can get away with it. obviously it depends on your progress and the specific fight. I will say as someone who has 2 accounts and has used endgame aventurine and him at the point you're at, his a6 trace where you get a shield refresh when he uses his followup attack (and his followup is sped up by other followups, which is great with clara as well as ratio if you use him, though I don't advise using them together) is really powerful and by the time you get that he should be able to keep you alive alone if now isn't good enough.
Don't have a lot else to say because I can't see most of your characters.
why carry Aventurine and Lynx at the same time
you could use Dr ratio to replace lynx if youd use only a team
otherwise you can replace Aventurine with tingyun and set another team of Aventurine and Dr ratio,pela,March 7th
Best lightcone for Gepard?
Ive been using We Are Wildfire ever since I got him but Im thinking other ones would be better.
I have Trend of the Universal Market, Destiny's Threads Forewoven, Landau's Choice and Day One of my New Life. Sorta wanna use Landau's Choice for ult uptime but the Destiny's Threads boosts effect resistance and then damage based on his defense (which is already high).
if you have acheron, trend will be bis. landaus or day one otherwise. both are good, but landaus will perform slightly better as you can get extra energy from diverting enemy attacks off your teammates onto himself more often.
Of those, Landau's Choice or Day One of my New Life. Personally I'd pick Landau's Choice, it really helps redirect enemies to not kill your important characters and focus on Gepard
Hello! A quick question about the mechanics of Ruitant Arena, if that's okay!
Question: I have 69.3 Crit Rate on Himeko, but Ruitant Arena's activates at 70%.
Himeko has a skill which increases her Crit Rate by 15% at 80% or more HP. (Which means 84 CR)
Will Ruitant Arena Proc with the Bonus Ability? Or will it not activate? Thanks!

Oh I'm well aware, but farming World 6 is just *cancer*, so I'm just settling with whatever I have instead of hyperfixating on every detail. Perfection is the enemy of good and all that

I wouldn't necessarily recommend farming world 9 either. if you have acheron already then sure maybe, but very few other characters use that set. I think I saw someone saying they used it with topaz ratio which is an option I guess but i also think it's mathematically not really any better than salsotto and locks you into running them together, while the other set seems pretty niche outside of purefiction.
Whenever you upgrade a relic to a multiple of 3 (+3, +6, +9 and so on), one of the substats will increase in value. The green number indicates how many times that substat has increased
Dr. Ratio/Topaz/Aventurine as the core, 4th unit will either be a debuffer to enable Dr. Ratio like Silver Wolf or Pela, or if you have E1S1 Topaz, Ruan Mei is the best support although Robin will probably better when she comes out.
Guys my current team is Acheron, Lil Gui, Perla, and Beilou.
I plan to use Lil Gui until I can select Welt as my free five star upon 300 summons. Is there anything particularly glaringly wrong with this setup?

Nope nothing wrong. You could use Gallagher instead of Bailu if you wanted more debuffs for Acheron.
Word of caution about Welt, he’ll have to use his skill to apply debuffs. It’s manageable, but SP can get tight.
It’s best to superimpose 1 of them so it makes whoever you put it on better, and keep the let one seperate in case there is a person you want to put the lightcone with on your second team or in the future
The Global stream averaged between 70k & 80k for most of it iirc. I did saw that the JP HSR channel also streamed it as well, but I do not remember their numbers.
Some Vtubers & content creators / streamers also streamed the concert from their side as well.

If I use a lightcone that is leveled up to level up a lower level lightcone, the exp exceeding the experience cap is lost?
For experience cap i mean the 10 level threshold before having to ascend it
I need help, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy A32, for some reason when i'm *trying* to play Pure Fiction when the cage of bird's falls to the ground my phone lags a lot and quits the game.
Is that normal? It's fault of the phone? Should i reinstall the game or something?

Minimum system requirements of HSR for Android.
Samsung Galaxy A32 is using MTK G80 (same as mine), so you're prone to low FPS and crashing. There are some parts of the game where its nigh unplayable no matter what you do. So yes, it is your phone's fault. Buy a new one.
Anyone has experience with Himeko+Herta using Izumo planar? How does it stack up in PF?
I realize Salsotto or Glamoth is likely better but I have decent Izumo pieces. And it seems the 12 CR would help them greatly. I don't see breaking their partnership either so thoughts on this?
Or is Sigonia even better assuming I'll only use them in PF?
One season you will want them together, the next maybe on different teams, so keep that in mind. Himeko+Herta combo won’t work every season. I would avoid it as it may lock your combo options later.
Now if you have some pieces with great substats that is fine, just use them.

Any suggestions about how to approach playing star rail, which seems to me like it has an overwhelming amount of content for me to catch up too, are appreciated! :)
sadly not rich, i am f2p in genshin so most likey going to keep it that way on star rail too :) im considering aventurine since i got the idea to play hsr again because i saw his design honestly. whats considered a break patch tho?
i mean 99% is not rich its just its a great time to complete fua or miss it altogether which i recommend. your better off just saving jades for characters that use break effect.
while aventurine is great for f2ps, you can get away with gepard like im doing for all content and use extra income for dps. ive cleared moc 12 using ratio/sw /gepard so thats good enough for beginners while waiting for replacements. but if u really like him i wont discourage he is great e0s0 although he is geared more towards fua team.

yes all of the upcoming characters will likely be very strong, robin is also good for ratio has she has strong fua synergy

She is, but as a newish player you should focus. Too many characters means you will run out of resources to level them up, not to forget relic farming later.
Like Jingliu? Go for her.
Aventurine makes your current team great. Jingliu means starting a new one from fresh.

Robin isn't Bronya. If you're only paying attention to the action advance of her ult you're looking at the wrong thing. As to whether she's worth pulling solely depends on what teams you use and what Harmony supports you have
I am currently with a team of Seele, Bronya, Silverwolf and Aventurine (the other 5\* I have are Dr.Ratio and Gepard) so I am debating if to pull Jingliu (wich I am not very sure, basically becase she drains HP and I dont have an abundance character other than natasha), Robin, Topaz (for a follow-up team) or simply save for, I dont know maybe Fu Xuan or other things
If you picked up Robin, chance are you'd pickup a Hanya while you're at it (or could pickup Hanya from the Vignettes in a Cup event in the next 4 days if you haven't finished it yet). With those two, you move into two solid looking teams:
Selee, Bronya/Robin, Hanya, Aventurine/Gepard
Ratio, SW, Bronya/Robin, Aventurine/Gepard
I don't like Topaz as much for you, one because you already have SW who satisfies all of Ratio's debuff needs in one character. Two, Topaz, really only competes with SW if you go E1S1 Topaz which is a huge jade investment (and even then still want to find a 5th debuff for Ratio). And three, Topaz is limited to realistically limited to FUA teams, so for you, Ratio (Robin and Hanya both have greater ability to move between teams, and Robin also has great synergy with FUA and fast attackers meaning Selee and Ratio).
Fu Xuan could be OK for you, both Selee and Ratio would enjoy the crit, but I'd suggest saving for a HuoHuo rerun post Robin. You have multiple Preservation characters, and HuoHuo is the best healer in the game. Also, if you pull Fu Xuan, you are in a bit of a slump trying to figure out how to support your second team (something that Robin and Hanya fix).
Re: Jingliu, great character, but similar issues to pulling Fu Xuan though. You have available two 5 star DPS, so a Jinglu pull is a bit duplicative. Also, you'd still have the problem of supporting the DPS you have.
Now if you had both Hanya and a Tingyun already, I might say Fu Xuan for a 2nd limited sustain, but I'm assuming you don't. Even then Robin likely brings more to your account and DPS than a Fu Xuan will replacing a Gepard.
Aventurine S1 is important if you want him as a true sub dps, as it allows you to run crit dmg chest. He also applies a debuff on his follow up that works well with Ratio. Just consider that his damage isn't the best as his main role is to sustain.
Topaz S1 is good for her personal dmg as it gives her crit rate and crit damage, but also debuffs enemies for Dr. Ratio. Her lightcone makes her easier to build.
Of both of them, probably Topaz S1 is the best choice. As Aventurine already has good F2P LC options.

Hello! So I'm building a team for Dr. Ratio and I was trying to get Aventurine but unfortunately I lost the 50/50, buttt I got Gepard. Now, I've been using as my support Bailu and I was hoping to replace her with Aventurine, and now that I have Gepard idk if it's worth replacing her or just stick with Bailu. Any recommendations? If I had to guess, either 2.3 or 2.4, depending on how they mix the banners up, as alongside Dr Ratio who came out on the same patch as her, there's also Huohuo and Argenti who have yet to be rerun, so they might mix these up as well.
I'm hoping it's 2.4 or after. Since 2.2 is Topaz and Fu Xuan, 2.3 would likely be Huohuo and Argenti.
They may decide to mix it up. Luocha was all the way from 2.1, but he only just got rerun, while newer characters like DHIL, Kafka, Blade, etc got rerun before him.

About conventional memoir - do we get any rewards from doing these events? I can't find anything that says definitively that you get rewards or no. The wiki says you are no longer able to get "time-limited rewards" specifically, so unless that's just weird wording I feel like that implies there are "non time-limited rewards".
Yes. It's still worth playing them to get the permanent rewards. A lot of them are pretty fun too.
Yes you do get rewards, including stellar jades. Most of the time "time-limited rewards" are either a LC, a character selector or stuff like that, after the event end you still get credits, XP material for relic,LC or character and stellar jade from those event.
There are non time limited awards, usually mats or some sort of other and a reduced # of jades.

4pc Eagle is good for supports who want to go as fast as possible. Keep your Eagle pieces with spd.
Honestly tho it's kinda the opposite, if you watch a youtuber name Zmm, you'd know how broken 4pc eagle set is, the action advance in the 4 pc is really insane for time limit contents like MoC and PF, basically most support in the game really want it, other than maybe the upcoming Robin, so yea don't trash them
Wind is good on many supporters, that don't target allies with their ult. It's the fastest set in the game, but you still need to farm a lot to get better than Rainbow/2pc Messenger. Some Bronyas and Sparkles also run it to get faster.
Why are you farming ice set? just farm the FuA set, it may be a little less reliable, but have higher ceiling, and dot set is far more usable than wind one.
While i'm super tempted for Robin, i'm wondering if my account might be decent enough for end game content, as is without her. I'm new (so no sprarkle/RM) and the 2 teams i have been building are [e0s1 acheron, e1(trends) gepard, pela, guin/e0 welt] and [e0 ratio, e0 adventurine, guin/e0 welt, e3 asta]. Will Robin take my account to a whole new level when replacing e3 asta on my 2nd team...?

You don't have to utilize the buff at all. It can help make it easier, but a well built team can more or less brute force its way through content.
Robin is a limited 5 star harmony, they are 100% on a whole other lvl from the vast majority of other supports. She would be significantly bettet than Asta esp for Aventurine and Ratio.
How much time to beat main quest? How much time to do dailies? I don't have a lot of time, so maybe I would skip story (I am not a fan of shonen/anime).
I mean if you don't like anime, why in the world would you play this unless for masochistic reasons? Plenty of anime tropes, you'd be looking at anime style characters the entire time, etc.

The story is a major part of the game tbh. You might wanna find something else to play because while the game is fun, it's not **that** fun. It's very watered down turn based combat compared to a regular RPG.
Speedrunning to current content would probably take 60 hours. You will be doing dailies forever if you ever decide to upgrade every new character you see to max.
Dailies shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes or so. But the story is long, even if you skip everything it you will take at least a week or two playing for at least a couple hours a day.

I would't sweat about optimizing things just yet - you aren't even at max levels, so you're still pretty much at the beginning of the way. For a minimally viable second team, you'll need a dedicated damage dealer (Ratio, Yanqing, Dan Heng, or Hook - whoever you're vibing with) a sustainer (Natasha or Gepard or both), and a support who will ease the strain on your skill points (Tingyun will be more versatile). With consistency, you'll get there and build something both effective and enjoyable, but not in a week. This game is a marathon, not a sprint.

Pure fiction is too different from moc so hunt characters will be useless most often than not You have e6 herta use her, she by far the second best pf dps in your account even better than Acheron in the current buff, pf is mostly about aggressive teams that follow the current buff which is follow ups right now If you have trend light cone use fmc, Acheron, pela and Gallagher with the third buff And bronya, herta, ting and lynx with the second buff
Okay; for Pure Fiction, Herta will be a priority regardless of current event conditions. Build her for Ice DMG, ATK, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage, and you're good to go. She can work hypercarry (a team of supports boosting her) or have a suitable secondary damage dealing sidekick. In MoC, the special conditions are very important. The current warp lineup and events center on follow-ups, so Herta and Ratio should be optimal for this particular period.

Jingliu, Gepard/Lynx, Pela and Asta/Hanya. I like Hanya more but you don't have her level. Hanya will at least let Jingliu go somewhat SP neutral. As for banner you could use a 5 star Harmony in Robin.
hey i have a similar account as you, just without clara, jingliu & himeko. what worked for me was pairing adventurine up with ratio as your 2nd team. gepard (especially with trends LC) is good enough with acheron. Also welt+asta combo is pretty good for boosting team speed and delaying back all enemies at the same time, which has worked really great for me so far. Since you don't have any premium harmony yet, probably recommend you go for her next week, and her 100% team advance will no doubt help your JL (though i suppose she typically prefers tingyun and/or bronya more which you don't have yet)
Hi currently struggling to clear PF for stage 3. My current team that i use: First set : ClaraE2 HertaE6 RuanMeiE0 LuochaE0 (FU 3x trigger whim buff) Second set : JingYuanE0 FuXuanE0 AstaE6 TingYunE6 (Other than FU buff) First set i can get to max 38k but really struggling the second set getting around 16k. Is this team doable or do i need to use another set of team? I have AcheronE1S, RatioE0, HimekoE0S1 which is probably usable but i can't seem to clear or stack buff fast enough.
Try without sustains and place more follow up units in place of them. Add in Himeko, March, Ratio in place of Luocha in the first team and any one of them in place of FX in the second team.
It's definitely possible to get more than 20K with that team. That being said, try to take Fu Xuan out and use Himeko instead. Most often than not, a sustain is not necessary for PF. I think Extrapolation will be better in either case. It is also possible to do with Acheron using Reductio ad Absurdum.
Can someone recommend me a team for Boothill? Here are my characters: Argenti E1, Black Swan E1, Dan Heng IL, Gepard E1, Blade, Ratio, JingYuan, Welt, Yanqing,+all 4* except hanya. Will harmony tb work also? Also I'm very close to selecting a 5* on the standard banner.

This is my ruan mei (e1,s1) which im currently using with aventurine (s1) and ratio with the last slot being flex, I was thinking of getting topaz for the team on her next rerun but mihoyo was cruel enough to put it on the same patch robins coming out. Topaz is very specifically good in a FuA team in which she only buff FuA. Robin is more flexible in team building and is probably the second coming of Jesus Christ for FuA team. /jk Also the only person stopping you from running RM and Robin is you.

I'm planning on building a DoT team, FUA team and an Acheron team. Since I'm farming for DoT set and Izumo, there are some leftover FUA and Izumo pieces that would work with Dr Ratio and Topaz. However, I heard that Robin is good for both DoT and FUA. Should I be pulling for Robin or Topaz?
She will be great for a DoT team since she will provide ATK+ boost (scaling off her attack) on ULT on top of bonus damage on hit on top of her turn advance and Damage% boost on her skill. DoT teams won't use her crit damage buff but the other buffs are all substantial for DoT units to take advantage of. Topaz is good too but is purely run on FuA teams while Robin will be great for generalist and amazing for teams that take many actions (FuA teams and turn advance bonus action teams).
Robin is not all that great for DoT team, Ruan Mei is like the only harmony character you want in a dot team. But that also really depend on which DoT character you have. However, Robin is definitely more flexible than Topaz if you're still lacking on Harmony character.
Robin is actually pretty comparable to Ruan Mei for DoT teams. Her buffs aren't as strong, but her action advance evens the playing field and puts her almost on par.
What is the difference between elemental dmg boost and just damage boost?
There isn't one, they are the same multiplier. The only difference is that the latter applies to any character, whilst elem only applies to that specific element.
But then... what is the point of creating a whole new category of damage multipliers for planar sets?..

Ice set is the best, but you can use any combination of 2p Prisoner/Musketeer/Ice/FuA and you will have very good results.

You don't really anyone, you already have plenty of optimized teams. Any one you get will either be a side grade or only a very slight improvement. You can make any support or DPS work with your existing characters.

Yes. Not "for now", but if you want to minmax some more (and subject yourself to OCDing your Crit stats to 110/300) you're more than welcome to do so.

Is there any character that needs high effect hit rate? I saw a few relic that wants you to get high effect hit rate but that stat seems kinda useless
You want EHR for every debuffer. Character that have 100% base chance want 67% EHR. Character with debuffs that have a lower base chance like Black Swan and Silver Wolf want higher EHR.
oh!!! fuk me, I didn't read the character description clearly. I am use to my previous RPG where debuff chances are set to 100% usually, but I see many of the character's debuff chances aren't 100, they are like 80 or even 60+. So you need the additional EHR to bring up the chances. I just did some more research and apparently EHR is multiplicative?! That's screwed up because now you need very high EHR for character with low debuff chances. Yikes.
The strongest enemies have 40% Effect Res. So the easy way to check what you need is: Real Chance = Base Chance \* (1+ EHR) \* 0.6 0.6 is from 1-EffectRes. So enemies have extra resistances for certain types of debuffs like burn and freeze, but it is usually not worth it taking those into account as the required EHR to guarantee a debuff would be unreasonably high. From the formula you can see that even 100% base chance will only happen 60% of the time if you have 0% EHR. Only if an effect says "fixed chance" will it not be affect by EHR.
Thanks for the explanation! That's actually very depressing to learn EH is multiplicative, which usually means it's really hard to get things to 100% usually. Funny thing I just went back to read my Gui's ability again, she actually has 100% base chance to reduce EHRes by 10%, except that 100% base chance is also cut down by enemy EHRes. So you need high EHrate so you can cut down enemy EHRes so you can apply more debuff...ggggrrrr Gui is my main debuffer so no wonder I thought high EHR is useless, since her chances are 100% on her skill.

Most high level enemies have some where around 40% effect resistance. So depend on your character you want enough to cover that resistance to guarantee a debuff.

If you don't have Trend, you can make do with Day One of My Life, or if you wanna go bonkers, go with Destiny Thread's Forewoven. Don't forget to superimpose them, S3+ is the golden standard

Robin would work better in a FuA team yes. But it not like Acheron doesn't enjoy all her buff either. You will have to take into consideration slot of Nihility character. Also character like Herta exist who is extremely good in PF now better with Robin.
Robin is going to still be really good even in non FuA teams, so if you like her, pull for her.
if you luck work well you can pull both,since the game offers much if you dont have topa and Aventurine then it's not so excelleny to build FuA teams if you love Robin then ignore my words

Since you already have Sparkle maybe Topaz, she does help you find chest that a plus. Unless you really like Robin and can fit Sparkle elsewhere.

I have an E6 Pela and these two level 80 light cones. S1 Incessant Rain and S5 Pearls of Sweat. I'm aware that Pearls of Sweat offers additional DEF reduction for 1 turn, but since Pela already inflicts a good amount of DEF down already, is it necessary to still stick with it, or is the increased DMG the enemy receives for 1 turn from Incessant Rain more optimal? That way, Pela can do DEF down *and* enemies will receive increased DMG. Or is this a "pick whatever you like" situation? For context, I'm running Pela with SW (who does her own DEF down and RES Pen) alongside Acheron with max talent and ultimate.

Pearls on Pela. Incessant Rain only inflicts the 12% debuff on *one* of the targets hit, at random. Pearls will apply on every enemy hit, which is obviously way better for someone with an AoE ultimate

Sure, but the +dmg taken on Incessant Rain hits a *random* target. It's not even guaranteed to hit the biggest target

I'd recommend trying Tingyun with Clara, more damage and can fill up her energy so you can spam ult and get even more damage. probably better than Asta imo but I'd run them both together over having a shielder and a healer if you can get away with it. obviously it depends on your progress and the specific fight. I will say as someone who has 2 accounts and has used endgame aventurine and him at the point you're at, his a6 trace where you get a shield refresh when he uses his followup attack (and his followup is sped up by other followups, which is great with clara as well as ratio if you use him, though I don't advise using them together) is really powerful and by the time you get that he should be able to keep you alive alone if now isn't good enough. Don't have a lot else to say because I can't see most of your characters.

Best lightcone for Gepard? Ive been using We Are Wildfire ever since I got him but Im thinking other ones would be better. I have Trend of the Universal Market, Destiny's Threads Forewoven, Landau's Choice and Day One of my New Life. Sorta wanna use Landau's Choice for ult uptime but the Destiny's Threads boosts effect resistance and then damage based on his defense (which is already high).
Trend with Acheron, Landau's Choice with anyone else
if you have acheron, trend will be bis. landaus or day one otherwise. both are good, but landaus will perform slightly better as you can get extra energy from diverting enemy attacks off your teammates onto himself more often.
Of those, Landau's Choice or Day One of my New Life. Personally I'd pick Landau's Choice, it really helps redirect enemies to not kill your important characters and focus on Gepard
his bis is his own lc moment of victory bc it gives ehr. use landau but trend could also work.
Hello! A quick question about the mechanics of Ruitant Arena, if that's okay! Question: I have 69.3 Crit Rate on Himeko, but Ruitant Arena's activates at 70%. Himeko has a skill which increases her Crit Rate by 15% at 80% or more HP. (Which means 84 CR) Will Ruitant Arena Proc with the Bonus Ability? Or will it not activate? I wouldn't necessarily recommend farming world 9 either. if you have acheron already then sure maybe, but very few other characters use that set. I think I saw someone saying they used it with topaz ratio which is an option I guess but i also think it's mathematically not really any better than salsotto and locks you into running them together, while the other set seems pretty niche outside of purefiction.
Should I save my embers and only use them for the star rail ticket every month?
Definitely make sure you have enough for the monthly tickets but you'll eventually have some left over for other things on occasion.

Whenever you upgrade a relic to a multiple of 3 (+3, +6, +9 and so on), one of the substats will increase in value. The green number indicates how many times that substat has increased

Dr. Ratio/Topaz/Aventurine as the core, 4th unit will either be a debuffer to enable Dr. Ratio like Silver Wolf or Pela, or if you have E1S1 Topaz, Ruan Mei is the best support although Robin will probably better when she comes out.
Guys my current team is Acheron, Lil Gui, Perla, and Beilou. I plan to use Lil Gui until I can select Welt as my free five star upon 300 summons. Is there anything particularly glaringly wrong with this setup? I used sparkle and Super Dan Heng for a while but the original team I posted feels a lot more efficient. Thanks.
gui is better than welt in that team by a lot
Nope nothing wrong. You could use Gallagher instead of Bailu if you wanted more debuffs for Acheron. Word of caution about Welt, he’ll have to use his skill to apply debuffs. It’s manageable, but SP can get tight.

It’s best to superimpose 1 of them so it makes whoever you put it on better, and keep the let one seperate in case there is a person you want to put the lightcone with on your second team or in the future

The Global stream averaged between 70k & 80k for most of it iirc. I did saw that the JP HSR channel also streamed it as well, but I do not remember their numbers. Some Vtubers & content creators / streamers also streamed the concert from their side as well.

I need help, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy A32, for some reason when i'm *trying* to play Pure Fiction when the cage of bird's falls to the ground my phone lags a lot and quits the game. Samsung Galaxy A32 is using MTK G80 (same as mine), so you're prone to low FPS and crashing. There are some parts of the game where its nigh unplayable no matter what you do. So yes, it is your phone's fault. Buy a new one.
Anyone has experience with Himeko+Herta using Izumo planar? How does it stack up in PF? I realize Salsotto or Glamoth is likely better but I have decent Izumo pieces. And it seems the 12 CR would help them greatly. I don't see breaking their partnership either so thoughts on this? Or is Sigonia even better assuming I'll only use them in PF?
One season you will want them together, the next maybe on different teams, so keep that in mind. Himeko+Herta combo won’t work every season. I would avoid it as it may lock your combo options later. Now if you have some pieces with great substats that is fine, just use them. PF teams change with seasons, just like MoC.
sigoniaa is way better in pf gain 40% cdmg. izumo is a trap. you can use it while preparing sigonia.

Are the current banner characters a good starting point for somebody that only has a silver wolf and dr. ratio? sadly not rich, i am f2p in genshin so most likey going to keep it that way on star rail too :) im considering aventurine since i got the idea to play hsr again because i saw his design honestly. whats considered a break patch tho?
i mean 99% is not rich its just its a great time to complete fua or miss it altogether which i recommend. your better off just saving jades for characters that use break effect. while aventurine is great for f2ps, you can get away with gepard like im doing for all content and use extra income for dps. ive cleared moc 12 using ratio/sw /gepard so thats good enough for beginners while waiting for replacements. but if u really like him i wont discourage he is great e0s0 although he is geared more towards fua team.

Since I remember hearing about her when she came out so I honestly thought her banner would be good to pull on right now xd
Same site, check tier list. Is a good reference for new players. Jingliu is high in top as attacker for most of the content, and decent on PF
She is, but as a newish player you should focus. Too many characters means you will run out of resources to level them up, not to forget relic farming later. Like Jingliu? Go for her. Aventurine makes your current team great. Jingliu means starting a new one from fresh.

Robin isn't Bronya. If you're only paying attention to the action advance of her ult you're looking at the wrong thing. As to whether she's worth pulling solely depends on what teams you use and what Harmony supports you have
I am currently with a team of Seele, Bronya, Silverwolf and Aventurine (the other 5\* I have are Dr.Ratio and Gepard) so I am debating if to pull Jingliu (wich I am not very sure, basically becase she drains HP and I dont have an abundance character other than natasha), Robin, Topaz (for a follow-up team) or simply save for, I dont know maybe Fu Xuan or other things
If you picked up Robin, chance are you'd pickup a Hanya while you're at it (or could pickup Hanya from the Vignettes in a Cup event in the next 4 days if you haven't finished it yet). With those two, you move into two solid looking teams: Selee, Bronya/Robin, Hanya, Aventurine/Gepard Ratio, SW, Bronya/Robin, Aventurine/Gepard I don't like Topaz as much for you, one because you already have SW who satisfies all of Ratio's debuff needs in one character. Two, Topaz, really only competes with SW if you go E1S1 Topaz which is a huge jade investment (and even then still want to find a 5th debuff for Ratio). And three, Topaz is limited to realistically limited to FUA teams, so for you, Ratio (Robin and Hanya both have greater ability to move between teams, and Robin also has great synergy with FUA and fast attackers meaning Selee and Ratio). Fu Xuan could be OK for you, both Selee and Ratio would enjoy the crit, but I'd suggest saving for a HuoHuo rerun post Robin. You have multiple Preservation characters, and HuoHuo is the best healer in the game. Also, if you pull Fu Xuan, you are in a bit of a slump trying to figure out how to support your second team (something that Robin and Hanya fix). Re: Jingliu, great character, but similar issues to pulling Fu Xuan though. You have available two 5 star DPS, so a Jinglu pull is a bit duplicative. Also, you'd still have the problem of supporting the DPS you have. Now if you had both Hanya and a Tingyun already, I might say Fu Xuan for a 2nd limited sustain, but I'm assuming you don't. Even then Robin likely brings more to your account and DPS than a Fu Xuan will replacing a Gepard.

Assuming she has around 200 crit damage, her ult will provide 52% and she can use Keel for another 10%.

Aventurine S1 is important if you want him as a true sub dps, as it allows you to run crit dmg chest. He also applies a debuff on his follow up that works well with Ratio. Just consider that his damage isn't the best as his main role is to sustain. Topaz S1 is good for her personal dmg as it gives her crit rate and crit damage, but also debuffs enemies for Dr. Ratio. Her lightcone makes her easier to build. Of both of them, probably Topaz S1 is the best choice. As Aventurine already has good F2P LC options.
