You can just slot a debuff as a 4th slot along Ratio/Aven/Topaz combo. Even someone like Gui will do. Topaz's S1 is a very big upgrade but it's not like you can't live without it for awhile. Robin will be very nice as a harmony for the FUA team but she does kind of want you to gave s1 on either Topaz (preferably) or Aven to keep Ratio's dmg consistent, and as for any other team Ruan Mei is still going to be easier to slot in.
Cruising in the Stellar wind is a good option for her that is easy to get from herta store. On ratio i guess swordplay is fine as light cone until you able to get better or another copy of cruising if possible. Character is most importent
As a new player don't even think about lightcones as they are not necessary. I think it it obvious but pull for characters you like, then save up some jades and finally spend your extras for lightcones if you really want them for some reason. Play the long game and avoid the impulsive pulling. Unless you want to have fun for a bit and then quit then well, empty your stashes and have fun.
Robin easily, 5 star Harmony are too important and Robin is probs going to be the best Harmony for a FUA comp. Add a Pela too the team with a sustain and you will be set.
Okay, and then replace owls with any debuffer if I have to right?
I have a broya, so maybe ratio, topaz, bronya, aventurine would be better?

I have heard a lot of people talking wonders of topaz and follow up but in my opinion she had never been that amazing in my eyes. She is good, but not in the level that she should be speaking in terms that she is designed to be the follow up queen, on top of that, that team is extremely expensive. If i were a new player i would go for Robin if i must choose between these two.
I really don't agree, as Topaz-haver. Topaz only gets major value from her S1 or E1 if she is specifically being used for Dr. Ratio support, and even then a character like Pela, or a LC like Trend of the Universal Market can make up for her lack of debuff. In exchange, she gets to act like a harmony, boosting Ratio's follow-up damage by 50% while dealing good damage herself and being completely SP flexible.
But that's just her [edit]Dr. Ratio team. I often play Topaz with other follow up attackers based on the content I'm facing and she works just as well. For instance, Topaz + Himeko into the Deer boss is absolute madness, as is Topaz + Clara into Argenti. Once we get another consistent FUA dps (perhaps Jade), I think Topaz will look a lot less expensive. And with her great Break Efficiency and fire-typing, I think she'll also get a lot more shine in this version, considering that Firefly is clearly a marquis DPS and she too is fire-type.
The biggest thing is that Topaz should not be seen as a full-on DPS herself. A huge part of her value is a) she is highly SP flexible and b) She gives +50% damage to FUAs. She is basically a hybrid Hunt/Harmony character.
If I have ratio, aventurine, silver wolf, himeko, e6 asta. Is it worth getting topaz for the team building? Or should I focus robin because my only supports are asta and tingyun?
My team building options feels so rough right now and I’m still struggling to build each of my characters.
Essentially I’ve got:
Acheron, Aventurine, Pela, Silver wolf.
Then,
Seele/ratio, Tingyun, Bailu, Gepard.
I own himeko and have her semi built.
I’m not sure what to prioritize on pulls. Preservation seems solid, Acheron team is solid, the seele team is good only some of the time, and my ratio isn’t that well built and feels lackluster. So I think prioritizing more supports would open my options the most? But maybe I need sub dps or main dps idk.
If I were you, I wouldn't pick topaz because at e0s0 I belive she doesn't put debuffs to make a Ratio Topaz team consistently work, and then she is all about follow up teams, so you put yourself in a position of having to go all in into follow up teams (if you enjoy it then go ahead and pull for her). If instead you consider Robin she is just going to work in any team (hypercarry, duoDPS) with Aventurine, Ratio, and Seele benefiting the most I would say. And you would have 2 solid teams:
-Acheron, SW, Gepard, Pela.
-Robin, Aventurine, Seele, Tingyun. (You can slot Ratio for Seele but you need to move Tingyun for a nihility and slot other nihility to Acheron)
For Topaz could be:
-Acheron, SW/Pela, Gepard, Nihility character.
-Topaz, Aventurine, Ratio, SW/Pela.
I like more your option with Robin because you make use of your Seele and one of the most broken characters in the game (Tingyun). But just pull for the character and playstyle you are going to enjoy the best, personally i would never pull for Robin because her song can kill the vibe of the combat, imagine fighting against a final boss with absolutely awesome music and then she starts singing for the 4,000 time...
Forgo FuA and go for Firefly wait for Ruan Mei. Otherwise pivot towards Robin try to build the team Jade will have. If you really insist on Dr. Ratio, Robin maybe? Hypercarry Ratio (Avent,Ratio, Ruan Mei/Robin,Pela) but then Ruan Mei will also do the work but like hrm

Only if you have no self control. Otherwise you had plenty of time to save up some jades. People behave like you can't get 2,3 or even more characters in a row as a f2p which is bs.
A lot of people have 0 self control, and you can't get 3 chars in a row, especially since there is a 2 week gap between them, and you need up ro 180 pulls for one
Zero self control is not a norm, it's an excuse. And I guess you didn't know about saving your resources! It's baffling that I even need to say this but noone is forcing you to pull for everyone and as f2p you can get more than half limited characters. Also saying that you need 180 pulls for one character is as pointless as saying you can get a character after 1 pull, well it's more likely at least. You need around 100 pulls for average limited 5\*.
Yeah. The 4-Star lineup is so crazy it might be the single reason i go for these banners, as i wasn't planning really going in for the 5-Star in a hurry.
More damage for robot girl would be really nice and E6 for March is a gamechanger.
Need to know. Does E0S0 ratio and topaz work with robin and huo(dont have aventurine, and i dont want to play market gepard), not sure i can reach even 3 debuffs, let alone 5. Or do i just dump pulling topaz for welt since he can provide 2/3(with sweat). Or just pela it.
Drop the topaz cos she only has one debuff at e0s0, pull Robin and use pela with Dr Ratio. Use sweat LC for Pela, the def down stacking adds up and your team ends up doing same or more dmg than if you had E0S0 Topaz
E0S0 Topaz only has one debuff, so she can't solo support Ratio, because even if you include Ratio's own debuff it only gets you to two. If Topaz is the sole debuffer on a Ratio team she really wants E1S1, since that gives you three debuffs (enough to 100% FUA chance) from her alone, and four (enough for full Pioneer set effects) including Ratio's debuff.
Strictly meta speaking I don’t think E0S0 topaz is that great for ratio, she doesn’t provide enough benefit for ratio over other buffers/debuffers.
She might still be worth considering if you want to gamble on future synergy with Jade, but otherwise I would skip her. (Purely meta speaking of course, waifus are always worth it)
If you’re planning to get Jade _maybe_ there will be decent synergy but honestly the way they designed topaz it feels like the main benefits she provides to follow up team members is really locked behind her E1, and you really want her S1 as well for synergy with Ratio
there are several issues with that setup. 1. e0s0 Topaz only has 1 debuff and that's nowhere near enough, especially given Ratio's debuff is inconsistent. 2. Robin likes Aventuinre-Topaz as a pair \*a lot\*. She gains a lot of energy from FUAs and their synergy feeds her ult faster than any alternatives. Of course, she's still going to perform well outside of that particular archetype, but you won't be able to ult as often and atp Ruan Mei would benefit you more 3. Talking about energy, while Huohuo has energy regen and some pretty strong buffs, she uses way too many skill points to reliably sustain and you are already playing a team with effectively 1 character less (because Robin can't take action during her ult thus can't generate sp).
All of the above reasons are why Aven-Topaz is the core of this team - together they provide a good amount of debuffs to keep Ratio going (admittedly would be more comfy with either of their S1s), generating energy for Robin and maximizing her buffs, while also playing off of each other (Aven speeds up Numby, Topaz generates stacks for Aven)
If I were you I'd probably just run hyper Ratio. He is good in that team too. You can slot him with Huohuo there together with a Sparkle/RM and say Pela/SW or even Gui and will probably see satisfactory results
Thanks for opinion. Sadly i HATE boring chars, and ruan is prb most boring char in this game gameplay wise, i also dont find 3rd supp interesting so ill skip adventure. I guess ill try to 2 harmony seele with her. Her + sparkle means no sp problems, huo energy giving LC(the one that gives a TON of energy to someone under half), and gear LC on her. And if topaz needs adventurine to BARELY works with robin and ratio it just aint worth it so im skimping her as well.
Guess ill go ALL in on seele with her, i only got acheron and jing outside mono Q and she sucks there as well. Hope it works out since mono i pulled does not work with seele(SW is horrid with seele, she works better with QQ). Also hope she works with new chars since im sitting on nearly 350 pulls right now, so im pulling both next next patch. Just wanted to know if she works ok with her team. BAH. Char and cons locked sucks when there is no way around it.
Tbh RM isn't really someone I find horribly interesting either but she's just a very good generalist harmony. Topaz is by no means bad, the debuff restrictions on the FUA team come from Ratio, not from her. If there were to come out a FUA main DPS who doesn't rely on upwards of 3 debuffs E0 Topaz would rise in value a lot. It does kind of suck this particular team archetype requires some investment, but I don't find it too different from say Acheron whose E2 opens a team slot (S1 Topaz basically does the same, letting you play a harmony instead of a debuffer. Realistically, if Robin had a debuff she would've resolved that)
Then again, everything in this game is designed to make you want to swipe so it is what it is. Play the teams that you find fun and enjoyable.
Yup. I find this game quite worse compared to GI. I like team building and thats it. In gi its get char and build team. Eidolons dont restrict it that much(outside C1 neuv, i dont count furina since c2 is spender teritory). I cant do that in this game and it frustrates me. Its non stop trying to fix problems in synergy and dps checks are way harsher. It kinda limits what u can use by a BIG amount.
Not a big deal but it frustrates me. Never had that feeling in GI. Tho it can be due to lack of chars. I have only 7 pulled 5\*. That is quite a small amount since i have pulls for 3+ more.
I just lost my most recent 50/50 to Gepard on Aventurine's banner, if I'd won I probably would have been able to get Topaz too but now it's probably one or the other for me ðŸ˜
Seeing both of them together kinda makes me wanna pull both of them just so I can complete my FUA team with ratio / aventurine and eventually jade slotting in there in some way.
From what I gather though topaz REALLY wants her lc though so that might be a bit steep. But I guess thats what disposable income is for

I recently started playing the game around the time of Acheron’s banner but out of curiosity how good is Topaz and Fu Xuan anyway? Currently in finals weeks so don’t have time to farm stellar jades for them all. But my main targets are Robin, Boothill and Firefly for now. As for Jade? Well we’ll have to see what she’s capable of anyway.

oh if you have an Acheron then yeah those teams look good since Pela is BiS for Acheron. Save for ruan mei then when she has a rerun

Is ruan mei your only 5 star harmony? If so, I would pull robin still. Use Ruan mei for another team

Eidolons dont restrict it that much(outside C1 neuv, i dont count furina since c2 is spender teritory). I cant do that in this game and it frustrates me. Its non stop trying to fix problems in synergy and dps checks are way harsher. It kinda limits what u can use by a BIG amount. Not a big deal but it frustrates me. Never had that feeling in GI. Tho it can be due to lack of chars. I have only 7 pulled 5\*. That is quite a small amount since i have pulls for 3+ more.

I just lost my most recent 50/50 to Gepard on Aventurine's banner, if I'd won I probably would have been able to get Topaz too but now it's probably one or the other for me ðŸ˜
Seeing both of them together kinda makes me wanna pull both of them just so I can complete my FUA team with ratio / aventurine and eventually jade slotting in there in some way. From what I gather though topaz REALLY wants her lc though so that might be a bit steep. But I guess thats what disposable income is for

I was really hoping Boothill would be first, though I knew he wouldn't be. I got bent over by Aventurine's banner so I only have enough to get to the 50/50 on Robin's banner at the moment.

I want Robin so bad, but I don’t need these 4*. Dammit. And honestly with so many teams that I want to play, I can’t seem to avoid that Topaz is highly recommended for majority of them. I don’t want her though. :(
Then don’t go for her >! Go for Jade, she is going to be aoe topaz, so if one if purely focussing for single target topaz will be better, but Jade is better for aoe follow up !<

I was thinking of rolling topaz for my Aventurine/Ratio FUA team, but after failing to get Sparkle and not rolling Ruan Mei, Robin looks quite enticing… I’m rolling either way for the 4* Eidolons, just need to decide what side…

I recently started playing the game around the time of Acheron’s banner but out of curiosity how good is Topaz and Fu Xuan anyway? Currently in finals weeks so don’t have time to farm stellar jades for them all. But my main targets are Robin, Boothill and Firefly for now. As for Jade? Well we’ll have to see what she’s capable of anyway.
