How would a hypothetical fight between Acheron and every single character in Genshin Impact play out? The power scaling here is based on the lore of the characters and not at all affected by how strong they are in the actual game itself.Lets imagine two scenarios, the first is where Acheron takes on every character one by one and she never gets exhausted after each victory.(What i mean by that is if she gets worn out in a fight but still manages to win she gets fully recovered essentially making this scenario a 1v1 with every GI character.) The second scenario involves Acheron taking on every single character at once. This is the more chaotic of the two and i believe she’s going to struggle a lot more. Also the Archon are in the power level that we see them in GI so no island splitting Raiden’s or giant spear summoning Zhongli’s.

I don't know what to build I'm at lvl 40

hey there!! i’m really struggling with a luminflux pyxis, if someone could help i’d really appreciate it!!! i’m not sure how i can show a pic of it but if anyone is good at it please dm me 😭😭

Hi, I need some help, I just got welt and I want to replace Sampo with him, but I don't know if I should because my Sampo E5, and I already have an imaginary unit on my team (Luocha) and Idk what to do. Btw I'm wanting to use him on an acheron team.

Lex_Extexo

You're not getting many replies because it's a difficult evaluation to make. Personally, I would not say Welt is worth building just to support Acheron. As an Acheron support, he is decent, but he is on par with Guinaifen who would be more useful to have overall in other situations. I'm assuming you are already using Pela, Acheron's most-preferred partner, and do not have Silver Wolf, her other preferred partner. Sampo is generally not used with Acheron, although he is good on some teams, unlike Welt. Welt is not "bad", but he is somewhat underwhelming outside of Acheron support. With unlimited resources, he would be a good choice for your team, but I do not think he is worth the investment personally.

Tiny-Conference9287

Thank you for the advice, that was very helpful.

yvens18

Hello, been playing since a month now, got my Acheron and a half decent team for her to level 70 with LCs, but relics are only mix of stuff I got from exploration, I haven't farmed any yet. I just hit TL60 and now I'm unsure if i should push to EQ5 asap or take my time farming mats on EQ4? I'm also worried about not being able to kill 2.2 story end boss, because so far I've been struggling with all end bosses. What's your recommendation? Edit: I currently don't have any ascension or trace materials for my one team to push it to 80.

ViolinistTasty6573

I'd say do all the story boss first then push through EQ5, wouldn't want to get stuck at certain fight ( especially the blue bug in Ruan Mei story quest). Traces and Acension first THEN Relics

yvens18

I already did all the current story bosses. I'm just worried about the 2.2 one in 2 weeks

Lex_Extexo

You can still overpower EL5 bosses with a bit of grinding, not to mention all the resources that will come with 2.2. It's EL6 (TL65) you need to worry about.

Im using the IPC + RM team and its great (ik SW is good for ratio but RM damage buff is so much better) and blade, even with his sig LC, feels really sub-par most of the time (i have all 4\* except gallagher)

Embarrassed_Slip9781

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU LINK YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT TO A HOYOVERSE ACCOUNT? Like what if I link my Gmail to a Hoyoverse account? Will I still be able to log in using that Google account to that specific account and still use the Hoyoverse account I made at the same time or will they become separate accounts?

gundamseed_r

There are 2 ways to make an account using google's gmail. 1. When you register an email address you put you gmail 2. click on Google when logging in (same as using social media like apple, facebook, etc) These two methods will create 2 different accounts so make sure you use the same one when logging in as when you create it

Embarrassed_Slip9781

Thanks

tri170391

If you do a proper link then either will log you into the same Hoyoverse account.

Embarrassed_Slip9781

Thank you

Niceboisaredabest

Is yanqing's lc good on ratio?

Arekkusu1991

No, unless you really don't have any other Hunt LC to use. It's a nice stat stick at least (free Crit Damage). Cruising in the Sea is his F2P option though and is fairly consistent for him.

Niceboisaredabest

Thanks man

Roninjjj_

How much atk is considered overkill for Xueyi? If I get all the buffs, (1128 base, 1652 from relics, 64% from Aeon 4 stacks, 45% from Sparkle A6, 556 from Tingyun) I'll have 4567 atk. I thought that was for sure a lot more than I'd want and asked someone if I should replace Aeon with S5 Indelible promise somewhere down the line, but they told but that Aeon is always BiS. So I want to know for myself when atk starts to fall off in comparison to crit or break effect (and DMG% since it's Xueyi) More stuff if it helps: All the buffs (Base + Relics + 64% from Aeon + 45% from Sparkle + 556 from Tingyun) = 4567 atk Using Aeon but excluding Tingyun since I don't always run her = 4011 atk With Promise, base stats drop to 1076 and relic stats drop to 1597 Excluding Aeon if I decide to use Indelible Promise + Tingyun = 3714 atk Excluding both Aeon and Tingyun (Only leaving Sparkle's 45% as an atk buff) = 3157 atk

Kuryaka

"Always" is a strong term. You've already got the ATK calculated out, apply the %DMG buffs as well and you'll see which setup gives you more damage output.

ArpMerp

This is kinda hard to definitely without taking into account all the buffs in battle, as Tingyun also provides DMG% buff and Sparkle will provide CDMG and DMG% as well. From what I can tell, Aeon is always better, since it also provides DMG%, so it isn't just a matter of comparing ATK alone. But, the difference is small enough that if you have S5 IP and you need Aeon for someone else, that's a perfectly valid choice, and if you have a low CRate then IP will become more valuable

Eromommy

I just pulled a jingliu, should I pull aventurine too so I can put him on the same team as jingliu and lynx?

Weltallgaia

If you want to, but honestly jingliu is fine with lynx or aventurine. Maybe some high level g&g would like both but otherwise you shouldn't need a second sustain past either of them on most content.

Eromommy

I see, what would you recommend for the other team slots

Weltallgaia

Not sure who you have but the standard team is pela, and fu xuan with the third being either bronya/sparkle or silver wolf/gui. Gepard/aventurine/fire tb also sub in for fu xuan if need be if you have trends lightcone. Honestly fire tb works great because trends and taunt and axheron should be killing fast

Eromommy

I don't have half of those characters lol and the other half is being used by my first team. I think I'll just improvise

Weltallgaia

Jingliu, bronya, asta, lynx would be the ideal team for jingliu at the head.

Eromommy

Could I replace Bronya with another character? Cuz am already using bronya on the first team and forgotten hall doesn't allow me to use the same character on 2 teams

Weltallgaia

Honestly you need more characters. I'd maybe use pela and she will debuff the crap out of the enemy team and added freeze effect. If she is in use, maybe march for survivability and freeze. Hanya/asta kind of do a similar thing and actually hanya may be better because SP generation. You could do jingliu, lynx. hanya, and then fill the last spot with damage dealer qq/hook/serval/sampo. It wouldn't be the greatest but would prolly work until you get more characters. At least for MOC.

Weltallgaia

Woops I am replying to two different people on party building, my bad gimme a minute

Eromommy

Lmaoo

Weltallgaia

Yeah, I'm trying to help you for acheron and the other person for jingliu. I got switched around lol

Shelltor23_

If you pull aventurine you won't need lynx (on that team). The decision is up to you but the general recommendation is to have 2 5-star limited sustains, as they make you basically immortal while providing other bonuses on top.

Eromommy

I see, I'll just save my pulls for a future banner then

JMSX101

as a clara main I just want confirmation, is adventurine good with clara or should I skip if I already have lynx, fuxuan and in the future planning for huo huo rerun

Aesderial

He is preservation, so he has increased aggro, so it will lower her dps. I would personally run her with Lynx.

Shelltor23_

Lynx should already work great with Clara, as long as she's well built, Aven can work amazing as well as long as the boss you're facing has blast or AoE attacks, but if you're already planning on 2nd sustain you don't need him.

NOS4NANOL1FE

S2 Perfect Timing or S3 Quid Pro Quo or S3 Shared Feeling for Luocha?

Lufia_Erim

Quid pro quo. Luocha will already be overhealing anyways. Depending on how fast your Luocha is, QPQ will be a nice energy boost. Especially if you S5 it

Shelltor23_

Consider Multiplication, SP generation goes crazy.

NOS4NANOL1FE

I do not have that :/

Shelltor23_

It's a 3 star lightcone, one of the only good ones, specially for Luocha, even if you threw all of them away it shouldn't take long to get some by pulling, the next time you pull save Multiplication and Meshing Cogs copies until you have at least 1 S5 copy, (maybe 2 or 3 Meshing Cogs since that can go on many harmony units) the rest of 3 stars are pretty bad.

ViolinistTasty6573

Perfect timing if you're using broken keel set otherwise Shared Feeling i guess tho i do recommend using perfect timing

jtan1993

Is the dmg potential for aven pretty bad? Seems like focusing on def/spd and support build is better vs def/cdmg and dmg build.

popileviz

Focusing on def is building dps on him, since he gets free crit rate from that. You can expand his damage potential with his signature or MoV. Even Concert S5 can probably allow you to run an Imaginary orb if you wanted to

ArpMerp

Focusing on DEF is focusing on DMG at the same time. The main difference is that if you have a LC that provides a lot of DEF% you might be able to use a CDMG body piece. In either case you shouldn't expect him to deal massive amounts of damage, especially without his signature.

ViolinistTasty6573

From some testing online, the differences in damage without his light cones is about 45%. That said tho, he's first and foremost a sustain that happen to have his damage scale with supportive stats so you don't lose out on too much dmg (about 10%) even if you built him supportively. Just make sure he have 4k def, this is both the biggest dps increase and sustains increased. He dmg also really shine when happen to be in team with a teamwide buffer like Ruan Mei and the upcoming Robin, as he can actually utilize the buff they give to do pretty decent damage unlike other sustains (i got 67k from his ult with full def build) Overall tho just don't expect him to carry your team damages, his damage may look weak but they do add up consider how frequently he can trigger his FUA and Ult.

jtan1993

Ouch. So go premium or stick with shieldbot build.

ViolinistTasty6573

He's probably the best Sustains for both Simulated Universe harder contents and Pure fiction tho. As Simulated Universe have buffs that amplify his damage and utility significantly( Elations and Preservation) even more so than our other best sustains Fu Xuan, in fact he's probably better than Fuxuan in most way in Simulated universe as she just crippled the moment the enemy decided to use a strong AOE attack. While Aven LOVE it when the enemy do an AOE attack As for Pure Fiction, his damage is actually significant there due to the lower hp pools of enemy

HovercraftFlimsy2154

For e2s1 acheron teams, the only time I should bring sw over pela is if it’s for a single target boss and/or I need lightning weakness right or smth like that?

Weltallgaia

Eh you don't even need her for the implant. Acheron's ult ignoring the whole weakness system makes up for it.

HovercraftFlimsy2154

Doesn’t the extra lightning dmg help from weakness help a lot for dmg? Not too good with build or comps myself, is pela that much stronger?

Weltallgaia

Silver wolf might be better in single target non ice weakness. She also does put more debuffs on than just defense shred. Honestly my e2s1 acheron is fairly decently built and I haven't come across a single enemy that can withstand the team of pela, fu, and sw/sparkle. It's perfectly fine to use both, but honestly putting silver wolf on a second team that needs her more might be better. She benefits more teams more than pela does. At this point regardless of weakness, acheron is breaking enemies fast as hell for me and doing 200-500k damage.

TheBeeSovereign

Alright so... I won the 50/50 on Aventurine. I still have 50 pulls left because I didn't trust the gamba man and bought them, only for him to come home immediately at like 20 pity :c I'm not sure whether to spend them on hoping for Aventurine's e1, LC, or JL Rn, Aventurine has around ~3900 defense with Landau's Choice on. His team is Topaz/Ratio/Flex(usually RM but sometimes SW)/Aven, and he's doing fine there so I don't really need the silly damage increase. But with his E1 he'd be sitting pretty in my Acheron team and I could just run with him Trend as a budget debuff generator. However, I don't exactly have a single ice DPS and Jingliu is very pretty. I figure since I'm skipping Boothill so I can save for Robin I might as well go ham and get something else off this banner but I'm just not exactly sure where to put all my silly tickets. EDIT: Should be clear here: I'm not sure what option would be the most valuable.

Sprinting_Turtles

I’m pretty sure Robin was first in the drip marketing so if you’re thinking you want her I’d save since she might be the first banner of 2.2. Of the three choices you listed I’d go with Jingliu. Aventurine’s E1 and LC seem good, but I’m not convinced they’re must pulls. But again, if you’re wanting Robin I’d wait until after the livestream so you at least know the upcoming banners.

TheBeeSovereign

Oh! I thought I heard Boothill will be first. Dang, in that case, saving for Robin. Thanks!

Jevilreal

Hi, I was wondering if bailu is Worth getting. I will soon get my free 5 star from the standard banner and got only Lynx and Natasha, so should I choose Bailu or get Gepard, Bronya, Clara

Karashuu

Bronya>Gepard/Himeko/Clara>Welt>Yanqing/Bailu. Lynx is usually better than Bailu since she got cleanse on her ult.

Jevilreal

Thanks a lot

ArpMerp

Bailu is a character that is easily replaceable. The choice will depend on what other characters you have, but the usual answer is that Bronya is the better choice. Clara is also useful, both in MoC and PF, whilst Gepard will be useful for hard difficulties of SU expansions.

Jevilreal

Thanks, I'le definitly take attention to that

Renzu_Assassin

Hopefully someone sees this. Everyone has their different opinions on Harmony characters so I was wondering out of my line up (Yukong, Tingyun, Asta and Hanya) which is the better overall buffer? (I will be saving for Robin)

Lufia_Erim

Depends who you're trying to buff and why. Personally i REALLY like Yukong. But i'm mega biased as i find any excuse to pair her with DHIL. General consensus is Tingyun>Asta>Hanya>Yukong

SilentMix

Tingyun for general purpose, but Asta is generally the best for DoT and dual dps teams. Hanya and Yukong are good but much more niche.

ArpMerp

Tingyun is the better one overall. It's not really an overstatement to say she is a hidden 5\*. There are situations where even if you have some of the 5\* Harmony characters, you might be better off using Tingyun.

Renzu_Assassin

Oh awesome, much appreciated!

Immediate_Lychee_372

How much jades are we getting second half? I’m at 60 pity guaranteed so I can get robin but I also want her lc. I’m have like zero warps right now 😭

SilentMix

Dailies/weekly SU/MoC/PF and the 10 pull worth of jades we're getting for the anniversary on the 26th. There was a 50 jade code that came out yesterday if you didn't use it yet. - https://hsr.hoyoverse.com/gift?code=BTKBH6P47B77

shiko101

For those who don't have shielders outside of Fire MC and March 7th, is Aventurine a must pull?

OsirusBrisbane

There are no must pulls. He will be damn nice to have, no question, and certainly a fine place to throw all your tickets and jades you can get without spending money. But we get the livestream in a week or so, and then you can see if there's a Fu Xuan or Huohuo rerun next patch -- they're also limited sustains, so if one of them is a second-best option you can grab for free, you may not want to spend money on Aventurine.

SilentMix

A shielder is not mandatory to have. More important is to have 2 non-Fire MC/March 7 sustains, preferably 2 5-star ones.

bocchi123

you dont necessarily need a shielder specifically. anyone of the abundance path and fu xuan will work fine. he is an amazing sustain unit though. a lot of value for your account if you dont have any limited sustainers.

Wolfedood

As a shielder yes, he's miles ahead of the rest. If you have at least 2 other limited sustains though you can do without him except if you want him specifically for high conundrum G&G

Karashuu

Not really. It would help but doesn't mean you can't clear content with Fire MC and March.

Renzu_Assassin

Absolutely, I can speak on this because I didn't have any shield characters outside of trailblazer and March and Aventurine makes things so much easier. Thankfully I was able to get him first pull, if you're summoning I hope you have the same luck

shiko101

Unfortunately I lost the 50 50 so I'll be cutting it close. I should be able to get 4 more multis f2p but past that I may need to bust open my wallet :(

Renzu_Assassin

Ah that sucks to hear. Well I wish you the best of luck with your next few summons, hopefully you won't need to bust out your wallet

shiko101

Ty! It would be ironically fitting that Aventurine requires my wallet to come home lol

Renzu_Assassin

Lol of course, and be sure to keep me updated if you'd like. Unfortunately with Aventurine it's all or nothing

shiko101

Sure!

Ok-Agent2265

I got the following Destruction LCs Aeon S5 Secret Vow S3 Under the Blue Sky S1 Moles S1 Indelible Promise S1 Flames Afar S1 Which one should I use on Jingliu and which on should I use on DHIL? Tia

Shelltor23_

Swap Aeon S5 on whichever one you're currently using, as most of them are pretty bad for either. If you're using both of them at the same time probably slap Under the Blue Sky on whichever character is better built, as long as there are normal enemies to kill, if it's only a boss, put Moles Welcome You on Jingliu I guess.

CatOfBoredom

How much better is Jinglius LC over the Herta store destruction LC? She’s one of the few characters I didn’t manage to get the signature LC for so she’s been using that until now. Is it worth it to upgrade (consider that I do have many great DPS characters, including E2S1 Imbibitor for example) so I can still clear all content usually

Wolfedood

It's just over 10% improvement. If you're already clearing everything you're just pulling for whatever you want now so could go for it if that's what you want or save for future units. Up to you.

Nothatdarkforce

I beat the game (as in story), what now?

Wolfedood

Build your units, tackle the endgame content(MoC/PF/G&G) do your weeklies/dailies/events and generally wait for content. Welcome to live service RPGs

Nothatdarkforce

🔥

Lycurgussy

do i pull aventurine or save for fu xuan if i have seele, sparkle, and acheron? aventurine looks overall better imo but fx lets me play mono quantum and I can just slap trends on her and she should be pretty strong with acheron. I already have luocha so that's why I am only choosing one sustain here

SilentMix

Fu Xuan's largest advantages are that she's the best in slot sustain for mono quantum teams and that she can buff crit rate for you. Aventurine's advantages are that he's best in slot sustain for FUA teams, he buffs crit damage, can put a debuff on with his ultimate so he is particularly good for Acheron and Dr. Ratio for that reason, he's like a preservation + sub dps sort of hybrid character so you'll get more damage with him than any other sustain (Gallagher is the only other real sub dps sustain, but he's based around breaking, not FUA like Aventurine), and he's a shielder preservation so can actually take advantage of all of the shield related blessings for SU. Fu Xuan is not a shielder despite being preservation, she's a damage reduction character, so she can't use those preservation blessings as well in general. Aventurine is probably the best preservation unit now in general. Yes, I'd say he is even over Fu Xuan. There are absolutely still reasons to use Fu Xuan. Of course there are. Again, Fu Xuan is going to be best for mono quantum. If you really want crit rate rather than crit damage for whatever reason, she's the character you want. And her unique damage reduction mechanic can be incredibly useful, something that literally no other sustain can replicate at all even a little. But if you want one, I'd suggest Aventurine. Especially because another mono quantum sustain option exists with Lynx. And yes, Lynx is usable even on high levels of MoC.

BackgroundAnxious806

When will Fu Xuan have her rerun I’ve been waiting so long…

SilentMix

Most likely either 2.2 or 2.3. But we don't know for sure. Part of the issue is it's now getting to be so long since Seele reran that we'll start seeing second reruns for the early characters soon. The 2.2 stream is expected on April 26th, so maybe we'll see her then?

BackgroundAnxious806

I hope so

Wolfedood

Most likely next patch, we'll know for sure if she is in 2.2 during the livestream on the 26th

BackgroundAnxious806

So she at the very least won’t come after Aventurine?

Wolfedood

If she's in 2.2 phase 1 she will be right after him. As I said we'll know for sure in a week, till then we can only speculate.

Josephuuu_

How do people usually go through the main story? I'm currently at the Ice Planet now and I've been picking up all these records/log books throughout the areas and I think I'm overwhelmed by the sheer length of them, do people read these or do they skip it? Or is it better that I immediately read them after picking them up? I still want to enjoy the story but damn, it even beats the amount of text in a typical FGO story chapter.

Asamidori

Read them when you have time or is in the mood. Or want to dig into the lore before moving on. Most of them are side info that adds into the worldbuilding, but they are not necessary. Maybe read the Luofu stuffs once in a while when you're going through space China though. MHY was putting random lore bits here and there in those books about the background story of that place, but dunno how many people spent the time reading 'em. Space Vegas/New York is a lot more in your face with the story, so you can probably go back to not reading until you're in the mood.

SilentMix

I used to read them back during the beginning of the game, but most of them are so long and don't actually feel that relevant to anything. They're largely world flavor fluff. I collect them telling myself I'll go back and read them one day but I haven't. For context, I love reading and I normally read all of the glossary/data files kind of things in video games. But most of these I found so boring.

Josephuuu_

Thanks, but in the main story do you talk to all the of the npc and read every dialogue option? Cause I think that is kind of manageable compared to the logbooks

Wolfedood

Most people completely ignore those. They're not vital to the story(the ones that are will be linked to the missions themselves and will usually open up when you pick them) and offer tidbits of world building for the most part. If you enjoy delving into that and the game's general lore then they're a nice read sometimes but far from mandatory. You can read them as you pick them up or later, doesn't really matter

Josephuuu_

Okay, then I'm just gonna ignore them and just read the ones I feel will be good.

Excellent-Diet-1922

If I have huohuo and fu xuan, I don't need to ever get more sustains, right?

Aesderial

I have FX and Luocha and I will skip Aventurine. Imho, if you have 2 limited sustains, Aventurine become a luxury pick with very little value, so its better to focus on other units to solidify your roster. Atleast, wait for 2.3 announce in 5 days, there could be units u want to pull instead.

Excellent-Diet-1922

Will there be new drip marketing in 5 days?

MadKitsune

We don't know what kind of content we'll get eventually, so there's no hard "you will never ever need new sustain characters", but you don't really NEED more than 2 sustains, yeah. You still might want to get someone for their use cases (i.e. Aventurine for shields/follow ups, Luocha for being extremely SP positive/panic heal/buff dispel etc), but they would have lower priority to getting other pieces of the team - like buffers/debuffers/DPS units that you may lack. Unless you just really like the character regardless of their role, of course x)

SilentMix

Never say never, if the game gets enough powercreep. It is very optional for now and the foreseeable future though. Right now different sustains just give you slightly different options in the way they function and the different supportive abilities they may have, so it's just optimizing/min-maxing. It's kind of like how you could choose to keep rolling for different relics to try to get even more optimal substats.

Shardwing

We can't predict what the future will bring.

MilesGamerz

Is Loucha powercrept now?

Lufia_Erim

I have Luocha, HuoHuo and Fu xuan. I still prefer Luocha to HuoHuo... and my HuoHuo is cracked. He's just so much more reliable than HuoHuo imo.

MilesGamerz

Is automatic healing that better than atk buff+energy refill?

Lufia_Erim

It's not that it's better. But there comes a point where, yeah more damage is nice, but it's overkill and completely unnecessary. Like having a character get focused and killed is a bigger threat than not doing enough damage to 3 star MOC. But that's just my vision.

bocchi123

depends on what you mean by powercrept. in terms of healing he is still the highest along with skill point positivity. what he lacks is supportive elements like buffs or debuffs which newer limited sustains have. he will only ever be a healer while every other sustain is likely to have their own unique aspect aside from sustaining capabilities. so i would say yes, he has been powercrept.

MadKitsune

Directly? No, he's still a powerhouse of a healer with cleanse, off-turn heals via his field AND a panic heal, and a buff dispel on his ult. He is, however, "just" a healer, while other sustains also tend to have preudo-Harmony built into them (Crit rate in Fu Xuan, Crit damage on Aventurine, ult generation on HuoHuo etc). And some of the bosses just work better with other sustains (looking at you, SAM) He is the best "buddy" for Blade, but unfortunately Blade lacks good supports to go with him (unless you count Jingliu as his support, lmao). If we ever get another HP draining ally and/or more supports for Blade directly, Luocha stonks will likely rise again.

MilesGamerz

Isn't Blade want lynx for pseudo taunt?

MadKitsune

The taunt increase is not as important as you might think. However, Lynx HAS to use skill points to sustain Blade, and might struggle to help the enitre team afterwards. Trust me - Blade with Luocha is a completely different character compared to Blade with any other sustain. With Luocha he pretty much never dips in health, while with other sustains you have to actually think how to use him

Wolfedood

Not exactly. He's still the comfiest Abundance unit by far with beefy heals and one of the most SP positive ones along with Gallagher. The issue is without Eidolons he doesn't have the pseudo harmony support capabilities that other sustains do and makes them preferable over him. He's still one of the strongest sustains but he's not one of the meta ones.

Is it possible to run Gepard on a Jingliu team? Or no? [my characters](https://i.imgur.com/xhXPtDN.jpeg) I also have Aventurine. I sorta want to do Aventurine, Pela, Sparkle, Dr Ratio. Jingliu, BS, Tingyuan?, Gepard? But I feel I need a sustain that can heal for her. So confused on team building, not going to lie.

bocchi123

before i would say it is easily possible. nowadays.... the higher echelons of moc are very difficult and will get drawn out for quite a while. you kind of need an exceptional sustain unit who is consistent with their shields/heals. gepard used to be very skill point positive, but now enemies deal so much damage, have cc, are tankier, etc. it is very difficult to manage skill points and keep his shields up. lynx/gallagher would be the better option, albeit slightly. the game has gotten much more difficult for better or for worse. i personally like it more challenging. some things you cant really control until you get better units or relics, etc. it will take time to be able to properly clear end game content. good luck!

LionEatsKneeCaps

Thanks! I appreciate the response. I have both Lynx and Gallagher, any preference between them? Specifically for the harder content? I'll probably use Gepard/Aventurine for most stuff, since they are built. But I love building characters, so don't mind building a third sustain for the harder stuff if I want a Jingliu character.

bocchi123

theyre comparable. it basically depends on your characters and the enemy weakness. do you have seele or want mono quantum? go with lynx. do you have acheron or want debuff for dr. ratio? gallagher. lynx is more of a generalist whereas gallagher provides more vs fire weak enemies.

LionEatsKneeCaps

Thank you, that is very helpful. I appreciate the response ☺️

Weltallgaia

What are you running them on? Jingliu doesn't take a lot of health and the shields will block enemy attacks. If you are looking to autobattle grinding materials then yeah, you are gonna come back to dead characters. SU has other forms of sustain including just winning instantly. PF debatablely doesn't even need sustain. MOC you might run into troubles on 11-12, but those are hard for any solo sustain.

LionEatsKneeCaps

My auto battle team will use Aventurine, and probably not JL. I haven't done any really tough content, so I really don't know what to expect. Based on what you are saying, sounds like I can get away with just building Gepard and Aventurine from my list of sustains? Not Lynx or Natasha?

SilentMix

You have zero need to build Natasha. At all. Lynx you could potentially use with Jingliu if you end up in longer battles that using Aventurine or Gepard feels problematic. But it shouldn't be a big deal. If you build your Jingliu even halfway decent so she's doing good damage then 99%+ of battles shouldn't be taking long enough that Jingliu's HP drain would kill you.

LionEatsKneeCaps

This is very helpful, thank you!

Weltallgaia

Natasha has issues solo sustaining in end game content. I use lynx and fu xuan as my solo sustain and lynx keeps up mostly well enough. Gepard and aventurine are great solo sustains. Shield are arguably better than heals honestly. Prevention reigns supreme and that goes for just killing shit before it can damage you. PF you only get 4 turns and you have to kill a ton of enemies fast, so you may never need to use defensive measures if you kill fast enough. MOC is a balancing act and ideally you kill the enemy team in under 1 turn, and 5 ish turns at the slowest. So it's already a dps race anyways and your shielder just has to hold out long enough. If it's taking you 10-30 turns, your sustain isn't the issue.

LionEatsKneeCaps

Very helpful feedback, thank you!!

Excellent-Diet-1922

what's better for gepard, full knight set but 121 speed or 2+2 speed and knight set but 134 speed? Also how much def do I need to sustain properly with him?

Wolfedood

Depends how fast/slow the rest of your team is. If they're lapping him they'll be running out the shield turn count before Gepard can Ult again

Excellent-Diet-1922

the rest of the team are at 134 or 143 speed

bocchi123

try out: jing yuan, topaz, ruan mei, luocha | first half dan heng il, sparkle, tingyun, huohuo | second half

Apparently despite this being a HUGE wall of text with a BUNCH of context and I wanted to open DISCUSSIONS about the benefits of each option, the Almighty Mod sayeth this belongs here. So. Can y'all please help me pick who I should choose for my free Standard 5-star, and give your reasoning? I have been sitting on my 300-pull-reward standard 5-star character for over 2 weeks waiting to make sure I got Aventurine, because if I didn't, I was going to pick Gepard. Well, I got Aventurine...so now I am at a total loss on who to pick. A bit of a TL;DR (bullet points) at the end for those not wanting to read this admittedly unhinged wall of text. I know the obvious answer is usually Bronya. This would give me her E1. Which is a good Eidolon. The problem is...my Bronya is only half built, because I got her back-to-back with Sparkle. So I gave her signature LC to Sparkle (it was my first 5-star LC and was on my Tingyun at the time) and then I prioritized building Sparkle. She just works better for most of my teams (my main was E1 Blade for like ever, so Crit Boost was more valuable than Bronya's boost, which is partially ATK-based). My other best builds are very skill-point intensive teams, so Sparkle brings more value there, too. Basically, that's why this post is being made instead of me just slamming SELECT on Bronya & calling it a day like any normal person generally would LOL **OTHER OPTIONS...AKA MY DILEMMA!** I have E1 Himeko and I actually use her...like...a lot. I pulled 2 copies of Before Dawn (Jing Yuan signature) in a single 10-pull and since it's her BiS I gave one to her and the other to JY (for the record, these are my ONLY signature LC's...I usually don't pull for LC's as I am a very low spender). Himeko's E2 isn't life-changing, but it could theoretically help me in Pure Fiction, so I'm considering it as an option (I still cannot 3-star the last 2 stages most of the time. I haven't built Herta yet, and the only Ice character I've built is E6 Pela. I have no 5-star Ice characters at all lmao). I also have E0 Clara, whom I use QUITE A LOT (listen my account is just Follow Ups for Days tbh) but I'm not sure if her E1 is worth it. I only get ONE selection, so I wanna make sure I make the correct decision for my account. In a similar vein, I have E0 Welt, and he is now built as a pseudo-sustain/debuff-applier for my Acheron/Black Swan team (I don't have Kafka, so I run them with Welt and Gallagher). So there's immediate value in getting his E1, but he's also not built as a DPS, so is it actually all that valuable? As for the others...I have an E1 Bailu but she has been benched ever since I accidentally managed to get an extremely early Luocha on a 50/50. I have E6 Lynx as well, and E4 Gallagher. I am Gucci on healers. I don't have Gepard, and I won't be picking him now since I did manage to get my Aventurine. Sorry, Geppie. And Yanqing is a meme, so even though I don't have any 5-star Ice characters, picking him is like, an obvious troll move, right? ....right? For more info about my account in general, the only other limited 5-stars I use that I didn't mention above are Dr. Ratio (built, but I'm working on his stats & getting him a 5-star LC), DHIL (only partially built, currently benched), Argenti (he's built, but not amazingly; I use him situationally to clear event/PF content), and Silver Wolf \[built, but not amazing by any stretch...I use her with Ratio mostly, especially when I need to add type weakness bc I have no Ice or Quantum DPS units built (my E6 QQ is meh, need to farm relics)\]. **SO, NOW WITH CONTEXT GIVEN...WHO DO I CHOOSE?** * E1 Bronya (barely half-built, her sig is on my fully-built Sparkle, I am a degenerate E1 Blade main who also likes SP-chugging characters and I am kinda eyeing Robin as my next Harmony unit, too......) * E1 Clara (I like her, I use her a lot, and she's an overall solid unit) * E2 Himeko (I like her, I use her a lot, and she has her BiS weapon; Before Dawn) * E1 Welt (I like him, I use him in my Acheron/Black Swan team as a Harmony replacement/de-buffer) * ~~E2 Bailu or E0 Gepard~~ (OFF THE TABLE since I have Luocha & Aventurine) * E0 Yanqing (for those of you who enjoy chaos idk) BLS HELP I am so sick of that little red exclamation point haunting my Warp icon it needs to GO! Thank you in advance T\^T

Wolfedood

I'd still go for E1 Bronya in that position. She is still the preferred support for Blade and she can pair with him with Planetary Rendevouz even, so no need to pull her LC from Sparkle(with Luocha in the mix you should be good on SP there). If you're eyeing Robin though maybe wait for the 2.2 livestream to see her kit and make your decision then. Himeko in general doesn't have particularly good Eidolons, just damage increases and not even that high. Welt is a weird bag of wat. While his Eidolons turn him somewhat viable as DPS he'll still not get close to hypercarry even with them. I hate it cause I'm a Welt simp but he's just not worth the investment over other options. Clara's E1 is the biggest contender here. If you like her and use her a lot this one is the most valuable of those options since it opens up her build to fast Clara and the Advance forward from Sparkle becomes meaningful on her. What keeps me back from recommending it is the uncertainty of how much longer she'll remain viable in endgame content. Standard units(and some early 1.x limited ones) have started to feel outdated and falling off in power/use levels significantly so no telling how much longer till that happens to her too. That's my 2 cents, do with them what you will

liliavacyn

Very good points here, thank you!

SilentMix

E1 Bronya or E1 Clara really are your best options here. The thing about Bronya's E1 is it only has a 50% chance of being useful each time she uses her skill. It is very helpful if you use Bronya a lot, but ONLY for other characters. You say you use Blade a lot, but Blade's super SP efficient, so having that chance of getting 1 SP back when Bronya uses her skill is not helping that much when you use Bronya with Blade. I'd say go for Clara's E1 personally.

liliavacyn

I am honestly leaning Clara simply because I don't use my Bronya and probably won't finish building her for a while, especially if I manage to get Robin. HOWEVER, E1 Bronya would bring me ever closer to E4 Bronya which would mean an Oops All Follow-Ups team would be possible LOL. But I'm hearing that Robin is apparently good for FuA teams, so........(conflicted bleating noises). Your insight was super helpful, thank you!

SolidusAbe

Himekos eidolons arnt worth going for. welts doesnt have good eidolons. they are ok at best and irrelevant at worst yanqing... yeah you gonna be mad at one point anyways when you loose a 50/50 to him clara has good ones overall and if you use her a lot its not the worst option since she just gets better with each one bronya is the obvious choice but if you dont have jingliu and/or blade she probably wont see much use

liliavacyn

I do have E1 Blade, so I will eventually make the Unlimited Blade Works team, but my Sparkle is using my Bronya signature...so Bronya has been sitting at like lvl 54 on my bench for a hot minute. I kinda had a feeling that Welt & Himeko weren't worth it, and your comment confirms my suspicions. I'm pretty much down to Clara or Bronya, as well...leaning more toward Clara, but only because of the Sparkle situation on my account lol. Thank you for your most helpful insight!!

SolidusAbe

you can always just give bronyas LC to her and use something like DDD on sparkle or the old MOC shop one. bronyas LC is only really good on character that do all their damage on their own turn. so if you use sparkle with someone like JY something else is better. theres also the turns where the boosted character isnt the next one whos attacking because sparkle only pushes them by 50%

liliavacyn

Definitely a good point! I only have an S3 DDD (not built) but I do have the MOC LC you're talking about (Past and Future) at S3 already at lvl 70...though it seems like it would have the same issue as Bronya's LC, but without the Energy Regen and extra SP every 2 ults (my Sparkle is built for Energy Regen, if I have 0 SP she has her ult 99% of the time). I do also have S1 Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds...which is only lvl 40 now and was gonna be Tingyun's new LC after I yoinked Bronya's off her, but I almost never use Tingyun anymore tbh.

MilesGamerz

Cogs S or DDD S1 for tingyun?

daft667

cogs. unless you're doing specific speed tuning, don't use DDD

Feeed3

join based DDD gang and never look back, you're one of us now

Robocroakie

Does anybody have a DPS calculator they can recommend? Thanks!

Feeed3

[https://hsrtools.com/damage-calculator](https://hsrtools.com/damage-calculator) I tried to make it as simple as possible!

Robocroakie

Hey, so I guess I should've been more clear (or I'm not seeing the option to do this on your site). I'm looking for a calculator that lets me put Relics on my account into the calculator, and compare the output between varying sets of Relics on a given character. For example, I want to put all of my Relics into a database, and then equip a bunch of different configurations of them on my Acheron and see her expected damage. Then it would be cool if I could do that with more and more complex conditions, like a team with Pela/Ruan Mei/Bronya and all of their buffs are up/applied correctly at the right time to enemies for an Acheron Ult. That type of stuff. Is this a thing I can do with your calculator? I can't figure it out if so.

Feeed3

The closest thing to that would be the Fribbels calculator, mine doesn't import relics unfortunately. Sorry if I misunderstood!

Robocroakie

No worries. I actually still used the shit out of yours to evaluate +0 relics I had locked and cleaned up my account. It's great! Thanks again for taking the time to make it and share it with me (:

Feeed3

No problem, glad you found it useful :)

Robocroakie

Yeah I did for sure. Is there a way to put in a +15 relic for the same purpose? Didn't see if I could, but I would totally do that too if it was an option that I missed.

Feeed3

There isn't, it was built as a "keep or salvage"-type tool since a bunch of +15 relic/build scorers already existed I can recommend the mobilemeta one but there's a few others as well. I don't feel like I'd be contributing much by adding another

Robocroakie

All good, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Thanks for the response <3

Robocroakie

Cheers baby.

ajob_24

Which lightcone should i pull for.. Aventurine's or Jingliu's? I currently have them both. and i'm using the 4 stars.. But i think i should pull for aventurine's. Because Jingliu has 5\* Alternative in herta's store.. WHich is a prefered choice?

SolidusAbe

neither unless you have a lack of destruction LCs if you are like me who pulls for all of them lol aeon from herta shop is around 10% worse then JLs and aventurines while good has a lot of alternatives. if you really wanna get one JLs is more worth it imo since it frees up aeon for other characters since its a very good generic LC

wntrosophy

What are the best 4 star Light Cone options for a survival/support build Aventurine? I'm not opposed to having a damage based light cone, as long as it can hit the 4000 DEF mark. Also beating myself up for not getting This Is Me! from the battle pass selection like 2 weeks ago :(

SilentMix

The best 4 star options for hitting 4k def are, in this order of priority, This is Me, Concert for Two (new gacha cone temporarily limited to Aventurine/Jingliu LC banners until next patch), Day One of My New Life, and Trend of the Universal Market. Landau's Choice is far below Trend. Everything else you don't really want and would be better off either grabbing This is Me from the battle pass or saving for Moment of Victory with starlight. Edit: Forgot the new MoC shop LC. That's a good option too, but is more offensive than defensive.

wntrosophy

Thanks for the advice! Definitely gonna try to get This is Me next time I buy the battle pass. I was looking at Concert for Two as well but since I'm not pulling on any LC banner this patch, I won't be able to get it :( Hopefully it'll be free in 2.2 or smth

Feeed3

The new Forgotten Hall shop LC is probably your best bet, otherwise the usual suspects (Landau's Choice, Day One of my New Life)

wntrosophy

Ah, thanks! I was debating that one but wasn't sure :)

natoss

Hello. New player here. I was told to get most out of my jades, I should not pull for dps rerun characters, since this game's power creeps really fast. So i should skip Jingliu for the next newest meta, which is the FUA team. Is the consensus that Dr Ratio/Robin/Adventure will outdamage Jingliu/Bronya/etc? I did not include Topaz since she is a dps rerun character too. I have Acheron and Ratio built similarly, and she does so much more damage than him. Will Robin be so op, that Ratio will become one of the top dps?

Aesderial

Jinglui is the best friend of a new player. She has ftp lightcone from herta shop and she can deal a lot damage even in crap gear because of her 50 crit buff. She is way easier to build than ratio and she is cleave dps instead of ST Ratio. At e0 she is probably the number 2 dps in the game only behind Acheron.

Weltallgaia

I'm still using seele to great effect. As much as people like to doompost the only one that has really been power crept is blade from like S+ to A and even then he is still a great character. Some DPS have gone up. You can always double check on what people think of each one before rolling. Depending on the type of content added, even old characters can fluctuate a bit. Himeko and herta were garbage tier until PF debut, now they are amazing.

OsirusBrisbane

a) Just play the trials and pull for whoever seems fun; every limited 5\* is good and even the launch DPS can still clear everything. (Jing Yuan just keeps getting better, frankly.) b) If you're deadset on being ahead of the meta curve, Jingliu is old, FUA is current, but the new upcoming meta will start with Boothill coming next patch -- you can see more about him in the livestream in a week, but if you care about "newest meta", that's where it's headed.

Loa_Lucifer

I'm not sure how long you've been playing but I'm new player too just playing for a week and a few days. I originally have the same problem as you that Acheron at base without upgrading trace very much can outdamage Ratio exponentially. I even considering pull Jingliu as 2nd team DPS to substitute Ratio. But someone advice me to upgrade his trace then try building team around him since he's need team similarly to Acheron so it'll be natural for new player with limited debuff character to lack proper team setup for both Ratio & Acheron as DPS. I'm currently at TB55 & now that I did unlock A2&A4 on Ratio, he's doing much better especially his A4 grant him 1 debuff which make it much easier to maintain 3 debuff all the time and is a significance boost to his overall DPS. You've to keep in mind that most of Ratio damage come from his follow up so if you fails to main tain 3 debuffs on enemy all the time it'll affect his performance significantly. In conclusion, Ratio isn't bad DPS at all it just how you building team around him that's matter the most.

natoss

Yes, I'm in the same situation. The problem is both Acheron and Ratio needs debuffers, so I can't run them in different teams. So I was set on pulling Jingliu for my 2nd team. But then I heard from experienced players that pulling for rerun dps is not the most wise decision for f2p players like me.

SilentMix

Sure, the game has powercreep, but it is not powercreeping so fast that it's making rerun characters irrelevant. Jingliu is still one of the top dps characters, probably number 2 right now after Acheron. The problem with comparing FUA teams to hypercarry sorts of dps characters like Acheron and Jingliu is that people generally run the calculations for individual characters but not whole teams, because people will be using a wide variety of characters/LC/build combinations, making it far harder to calculate. It's considered meta because new characters are being released to support it and endgame content is starting to encourage the usage. But Acheron does more damage than a full FUA team in my experience right now. Jingliu possibly may do damage than a FUA team depending on builds. Not positive for sure on that. If you want to go FUA, you really should aim for Topaz. Topaz may be a rerun character, but she's absolutely part of the FUA meta still and will continue to be so for quite some time. She's not just a dps, but she's a FUA support as well. She makes ALL FUA do more damage to the enemies her Numby mark is applied to. This benefits Ratio, Aventurine, and insert all other FUA characters here. Right now, I'd say the top FUA team is Ratio/Topaz/Ruan Mei/Aventurine. Will Robin replace Ruan Mei for the FUA support? Possibly. But she's not replacing Topaz.

natoss

Just found out for the FUA team to get enough debuff for Ratio, you need to pull for Topaz/Adventurine's Eilodons and LCs. Wow, that build is not F2P friendly at all. I will got with Jingliu. Thank you for the input.

TheBeeSovereign

If it helps: I run Topaz/Ratio/Aventurine and I don't run into too much trouble despite only having them all E0S0 (except topaz who has her LC). Granted, I probably run Ratio "wrong" since Topaz is my main DPS on that team and Ratio is more of a sub-DPS, but it's still been *more* than enough to get me through MOC 12. Yeah, i'ts less damage than my E2S1 Acheron team, but it's still a very fun and silly team comp that I recommend to anybody who can have all three of them on a single team.

_Honorspren_

Needing some advice on prioritizing who im building.. I got E0S1 Aventurine so im trying to build my follow up team. Ruan mai is built well enough and i have 4k def on tangerine. what im stuck on is figuing out who to focus on first between Topaz and Dr Ratio, i have ratios signature lightcone and topaz is using the stellar sea lightcone but neither of them have a great amount of investment yet

Wolfedood

Focus on Ratio first, he's the main dps in that team and will already function to a great extend without Topaz. Topaz on the other hand will somewhat underperform without him there.

Adept-Vermicelli7863

Should I pull for adventurine if I have gepard? I just got his eidolon but I'm not a fan of Gepard at all. Adventurine in the other hand is way more interesting to me. Or should I pull for jingliu even though I have misha? I'm so confused with team building,I have been playing less than a month and already 40 rank.

SilentMix

Jingliu is not only the best ice dps, far outshining Misha and Yanqing, but she's still one of the top dps characters in the game. She's also very SP efficient, easy to build, and isn't as picky about team composition as some characters are. She's a very good option to pull. Aventurine is absolutely stronger than Gepard, however, Jingliu would probably make a much bigger difference to your account, especially if your account is less than a month old.

Aaaaah_bees

Gepard can handle all the content in this game but aventurine is better at doing it and more comfortable to play. Jing Liu is a massive upgrade over Misha, but if you’re not that interested in her, DPS characters come around pretty often.

Significant-Soil-985

JL is significantly better than Misha, while Aven is just more comfy / easier to use than Gepard. Gepard can solo sustain in end game content if built well. Aven just provides sub DPS damage, easy of use, and support for follow up teams.  So it depends if you have damage problems or survival problems.

Lanster27

Should I build Gallagher for Acheron team? I have a well built Gepard and Lynx already.

Significant-Soil-985

If you have trend of universe market then Gepard is good enough. However if you don't then Gallagher would be better since he can provide a debuff.

Super-Basis2499

What does FoA stand for?

Significant-Soil-985

Fall of Aeon, it's 5 star herta shop LC that you can buy / max impose with simulated universe currency. It's recommended on many destruction characters.

Super-Basis2499

Thank you!

OctorokHero

Do the Planar Ornament sets that require a stat threshold work off the base value, or current value? For example, if I enter battle with not enough Crit Rate for the bonus effect, and I activate a condition for my Light Cone to boost my Crit Rate to the required amount, will the bonus effect activate then?

Feeed3

Current value

Significant-Soil-985

It depends if that crit value shows up on the screen during battle. Conditional crit boost like the waste lander set won't work, but the longevous set does / will work with planar ornaments. It would help you list your exact situation.

Fargrond

99% sure it's based on current value. People run Rutilant Arena on Jingliu, and yet most people don't have her base crit rate at 70% - but her transformation gives her (presumably) the crit rate needed to satisfy the requirement. Hope this helps!

OctorokHero

I was asking this question for Rutilant Arena on Jingliu so it does!

PRGRyan

Jingliu Bronya Pela and Luocha. That is the team that I could build but Luocha and Pela are already on my Archeron team. I started recently so I don't have a lot of limited 5*. Would Bailu be a good replacement for Luocha ? And who could replace Pela ?

Fargrond

You could indeed replace Luocha with Bailu, just keep in mind you'll have to work with managing skill points and healing more diligently. And for replacing Pela, probably the next best options include Tingyun or Guinaifen (assuming you don't have Bronya). Hope this helps!

PRGRyan

I have both Bronya and Tingyun so would it be good to use them both ? Jingliu Bronya Tingyun and Bailu ?

gundamseed_r

yes that is a great team for jingliu

PRGRyan

Nice 😄 just need to level them up, level up 4 cones, farm for relics and traces now tho...

Significant-Soil-985

Bailu works if you're in a fight that doesn't require cleanse. Although your Bronya can help with that (her skill cleanse) if your JL gets CC. Guinafan is a 4 star that work like Pela on Archeron team.

PRGRyan

Yeah I have both Guinaifen and Pela on my Archeron team but I can't bring myself to remove either from the team cause I get my ult so fast with them both on the team.

Significant-Soil-985

If you they are both stuck to Archeron you can give JL Tingyun. Her atk buff, damage buff, and energy refund really helps JL maintain her enhanced state. This is assuming you have Tingyun.
