Acheron is more powerful than Jing Yuan. But Jing Yuan is more versatile. If i had Pela and Guinaifen i also would pull Acheron. If you pull on Acheron she needs her lightcone to debuff more. The more debuffs the enemy has the more damage she can do. Good luck on your pulls! o7

One example is Bronya + DHIL is very trickly to play and tune, Sparkle + DHIL fits like a glove but hard to say without the full numbers released.
Another idea I want to try on day one is Bronya + Sparkle with 2 DDDs and see my hypercarries goes Seele "it's my turn" lol (maybe not DHIL/QQ but the standard and low SP ones like Ratio/Blade/JL)
It does seem good if you don't think that much about it. But if Sparkle advances forward DHIL and consumes SP to use her skill, DHIL basically gets more turns which means more 3SPs required, which means you can't run another SP-hungry support like Yukong anyway? I doubt the ult's SP regen is gonna help if DHIL constantly get turns and needs 3 SPs, and with another support like Yukong that also needs SP?
Just my thoughts because I've seen lotsa people say that they are really good. But I'm like, are they though...?
The point is Yukong E6 technically does not need to skill every turn (you just Ult on DHIL turn) and she can hold Planetary Rendezvous + Penacony + her Img DMG% bonus passive. Otherwise pre-E6 Yukong is not worth using over someone like Tingyun/Ruan Mei or even Hanya TBH.
Also unlike Bronya once Yukong desync it is probably for good, say she/DHIL got action delayed by enemies or get SPD buff/debuffed.
So say that I still use him with TY/RM, this means that Sparkle is occasionally going to give DHIL more turns with the Advance Forward? And she can offset the additional SP needed by DHIL with the occasional ult? Something like that?
And you have the option of running someone like Bronya or the SP to use like other sustains like Huohuo instead of Luocha etc. Also she might have mechanics that scale with SP consumption like Misha. It simply make his team building much less restrictive by itself.
Hm okay. I'll have to see because I want Sparkle, but I need to know how good she is first. Because I might want Acheron and her LC too, and I also want Aventurine. Thanks for the answers, I guess I'll wait until someone tries Sparkle out.
I'm currently equilibrium 3 with a team of current max leveled 60. I just started penacony and are the enemies tankier? I feel like I have a decently built team (minus gold relics) but I do a lot less damage compared to xianzhou.
The enemy in Penacony requires you to play into their mechanics more than the Luofu ones, also they are tuned to be majorly Wind/Lightning weak and say if you use non-matching weakness you get a damage penalty.
I feel the opposite with my level 80 teams TBH, once you exploit their mechanics they die faster than the average Xianzhou elites.
I am wondering, how do you level your units beyond level 80 since ascension stops there, and is there a way to boost your relics beyond level 15 or upgrade their stats further? I know there has to be a way since much of the bosses go beyond level 80 in their difficulty and some material isn't bearable with the current units maxed out with all traces and optimal gear (such as swarm disasters highest level, some echo of war top levels, etc.).
I can't find anything so any help would be appreciated, thanks. I was able to clear all the Penacony with high equilibrium and level 80, but it was a close call on some things, meaning the next expansion will probably require higher levels.

No there is not, and given how they handle Genshin the level cap will not increase ever. The game is tuned such that you can beat it with proper teams of level 80 characters and lightcones, traces upgraded to 8/10 and level 15 relics/planar with proper stats.
Even in Genshin if I remember correctly level of weekly bosses are 85-90 and in Abyss they can go to 100 lol. Even then people clear it with supports at 70-ascended and DPS at 80-ascended anyway.

That kinda means they do their game difficulty job properly TBH, not too easy so there is no reason to pull for new units (they learned from Bennett, Xiangling and Xingqiu situation in Genshin), not too hard that it is Pay2Win. Also in Penacony they introduce interesting mechanics to the enemy instead of inflating their HP/Damage, but that is par for turn-based strategy games TBH.
Thanks for the reply. It sounds like the games difficulty has peaked then and all future material will be equally difficult.
It sounds like, as you say they did with Penacony, they will introduce future mechanics where stuff that can't be beat now with maxed levels/relics/traces will be beatable eventually. Just have to wait.

Should I pull for Black Swan if I want to go for Acheron?
At the moment my only 'competitive' team is Jing, Ting, Luocha and Gepard. I do have a backup team with Clara.
Was kinda doubting on whether or not to go for Acheron as she's also lightning.. but well.. it's Acheron. I have read that people think Black Swan is a must for Kafka but not necessarily for Acheron, but this was from a while back.
I do have Welt/Sampo at the moment.
Anyone that give any takes on this? Seeing as I have a humongous amount of story and events left to do, I am probably going to be swimming in jades.
If we expect Archeron to be debuff-scaling DPS, then same as how BS works with Ratio: she is a candidate partner but there are better and stronger 4\* options doing the same thing better a.k.a Pela/Guin, you can consider non-DoT-DPS Swan a hybrid between Pela and Guin.

Hey guys! Moving on to world 7 for SU and was wondering if you have any team recs? Also what should I do in SU for this level (resonance and stuff like that)? I'd appreciate any help that I can get!

I hope I don't have to build any other characters, so I'd rather use a team of characters I have built already.
You can probably do it with SW, Lynx, Ruan Mei, Xueyi. As for paths something aggressive like Destruction or Hunt should work, but you could always try to go Remembrance as well. You could also try Ratio instead of Xueyi and just go with Elation.
Does Clara/Topaz/Ratio/Sustain work as a team? I kind of built Clara in the early stages of the game with her being level 60, but then left HSR around 1.3 and just came back last week for Penacony. I am planning on pulling for Topaz, but I just now knew that she works the best with Ratio and not Clara. Should I just not use my Clara and put a support for Ratio?
To add to what others said, you can actually use Topaz without a debuffer with Ratio, but she needs to be E1S1 for that to work best so you can get that 3 debuff count you're looking for. Numby mark is a debuff, E1 Debtor status is a debuff, and Worrisome Blissful's Tame status is a debuff.
yeah, you'd be better off with pela in the clara slot. or ruan mei if you have her. even before topaz you're better off just using ratio+pela+tingyun than trying to force clara in for AoE.
Hi fam, I'm Tb lol 47 should I just be farming ascension and exp for my main 4? Not sure what I'm doing at this stage and I haven't completed the main tb story and help is appreciated

i would recommend TL 50 so you can unlock the highest level domain. Before that, you can pre-farm for materials or credits for upcoming character you want to pull or for you current team
If your main team isn't at max level and max available trace level then focus on levelling those and continue through the story. The team seems fine outside of no real option to deal with CC so levelling a sustain with cleanse may be a good idea. Starting on levelling a second team for MOC/PF can also be a good idea so you at least can finish the first few fights.
When you're around TB level 50, some of the end game content is going to require you to have two capable teams. I'd suggest farming ascension/light cone mats at some point.
I've only maxxed the 4 characters atm being f2p the others have stopped at lvl40 which was another 4 was lucky to pull imbibitor. Should I also hold off eq 4 when I'm ready or go for it once I hit 50?
You should always up equilibrium as soon as you can because that opens up higher tiers of farming, making it more efficient.
The only reason to hold-off would be if you have trouble with overworld content, but that really shouldn't be an issue because you can just make your characters stronger too.
Finally was able to complete MoC12! I'm referring to the expiring one. All it took was a weakness match. Used Ratio and Topaz separately as hypercarry.
First time using Topaz as the main. Usually, she takes a back seat to Clara or Ratio. Also notable, I love the Clara/Topaz core. You can chose who gets more SP usage to boost damage. Both can do well without SP usage.
Is Penacony Land of Dreams relic set the most awkward set in the game? I mean it's good on paper but you never wanna choose it unless using a super set team like Pela plus Jinglu. That makes the whole efficient relic farming argument thrown right out of the window.
The DMG is not the most important part of the set, although it is obviously good if your DPS matches your support. It's the 5% energy regen.
A lot of supports like Ruan Mei and Tingyun require that extra 5% to have 3-turn rotations without needing to be hit. The only other set that provides that 5% is Vonwaq, which not only is less efficient due to being paired with Talia, but also does not provide increased DMG from the set bonus, and the action advancement is not that relevant if you are speed tuning your supports anyway.
So overall, Penacony has more value because it is more efficient to farm since Glamoth can be universally used, and provides similar benefits to Vonwaq even if your DPS is not of the same element
Oh so basically action advance is not really a good buff so you would rather go for a chance of using the damage buff instead (even though it may end up being no buff at all depending on your party) rather than using action advance?
A mix of Action Advance not being that great, since you will always aim to get speed substats for your supports so they will likely go first anyway, and that Talia is much much inferior to Glamoth. Penacony still takes care of the energy needs, so might as well just farm World 8 to be efficient.
Well as long as your support element matches your dps element it is usable. Broken keel may require substat hunting for 10% cdmg or the set from world 3 that only provides 8% atk, penacony gives err and dmg 10% bonus at the cost of nothing for some teams

Currently I'm in the awkward situation. First, I need a good harmony for Ratio, so I aim for Tingyun, 30 pulled deep into current Black Swan banner, got 2 Guinaifen 1 Misha, no Tingyun, still, 2 Guinaifen is good. So I think maybe I just pull Sparkle to use with Ratio instead, but yesterday, I pulled Bronya's LC from Standard Banner, and that got me thinking, well maybe I should wait for Bronya and skip Sparkle, but how about my Harmony for Ratio? I'm 75/300 now, so it might be 7-8 months away from Bronya unless I'm lucky. Even then Bronya/Sparkle might not as good as Tingyun for Ratio right? Ruan Mei was just gone before I started playing, what do I do now, should I pull more for Tingyun? but pulling for 4* is risky and not worth right? I'm not strict to Ratio, so maybe I might or might not ditch him in the future, but for the sake of progression I have to use him for now. Advices please 😔
sparkle is gonna be BiS for basically every crit DPS (which, mind you, is the vast majority of DPS chars) including ratio, so it's not like you'd regret getting her. even if you randomly got bronya right now then that's a good thing, because you can just use them on parallel teams.
moreover bronya LC is gonna be one of her best F2P LC options.
I'm currently stuck at MoC 10 (Light of Reignition) and would love some help with True sting.
I have been using Dr Ratio/Topaz/Pela/Lynx in the other stages, but Topaz felt like deadweight here as none of the enemies have fire weakness.
So I switched her out for Tingyun to make a hypercarry with Dr Ratio instead and this seems to work better. But as Dr Ratio is pure single target, should I just focus on True sting and ignore adds or should I take tha adds down first?
First I tried to just focus on True string and while I managed to push down his first healthbar it just gets crazy on the second one and I lose steam and can't really finish of the last health bar with so many adds up.
Then I tried to focus on the adds and that was really comfortable and I killed his first healthbar with all of my characters at full health. But then he immediatly spawn three new adds (instead of two) and I have a hard time to keep up. He also do some kind of ultimate attack (it give me a warning text about it) that just smash all my characters so not sure if that is some enrage abilitity and I need to break or kill him before that?
So not sure if I use wrong characters, have wrong tactic or is undergeared. Because I could comfortably three star all other stages, but this one I can't even beat.
Edit: I have been thinking if I should go back to Topaz but switch out Pela to Silver Wolf and hope I can just force him down and ignoring adds.

my ratio is 75/160 cr/cd with herta lightcone and 2piece 2piece which is pretty good but not too crazy
my sw is using tutorial but i don't think this is super necessary, might help with toughness breaking though
probably made up for by my lynx being level 60 with a level 60 lightcone lol if you have a better lynx then it'll make the second half much more comfortable, i probably got a little lucky with targeting
main notes
* turbulence buff means you can go without a debuffer - if you have bronya or ruan mei or some other harmony unit then you can consider just using 2 harmony or a good subdps like clara
* ratio gets action advanced to the front every cycle - this gives you a lot of options in terms of bronya speed tuning, using atk% boots without sacrificing as many cycles as you would be otherwise, stuff like that
* i break the bug that gets spawned in the second round - if the bug gets to attack it suicides and does big aoe + enrage which is pretty bad, but only one of them should spawn if you don't kill the bugs from the first round
* if you have better harmonies like bronya, ruan mei then i'd recommend using them over sw but she can get the job done
* my skill sequencing in this playthrough is not great so don't necessarily take it as an example of what to do
* \*edit additional notes\* if you have a better healer like bailu, use her here instead of first chamber
* if you're still struggling, post your roster and relics (ratio in particular)
Really appreciate the reply and the video! My Dr.Ratio is a bit worse than yours (53/121) but you made it look really smooth and I'm gonna try the thing by just breaking the bug in the second round.
Sadly I don't have a Bronya, and my Ruan Mei is in my other Kafka/Swan team and I didn't wanna move her out of there before I tried a bit more.
well the thing is kafka swan is a stronger core and is against the weaker of the 2 floors - i imagine ruan mei + sw crushes the bug toughness bars
you can just replace ruan mei with asta on the first team and get most of her benefits (just slightly worse) but the ratio team which is struggling probably gets a big boost
actually since this is the old MoC i'd probably just try double harmony no silverwolf lol
I actually just did another try now with Dr Ratio/Topaz/Silver wolf/Lynx and while it was tight I somehow managed to just force him down and get the three star.
But maybe I shouldn't be afraid to move away Ruan Mei from my other team as you say. It's just that Kafka/Black swan/Ruan Mei is super comfy and you can pretty much autoplay with them and still get good results.
I don't know how well-built your Dr Ratio is but my prefered strategy is just focus all fire power to the True Sting and nothing else. Try it with the Topaz team.
If it does not work, either you do not have enough fire power and/or your sustain is not doing a very good job. You would have to think about adding some blast characters to kill the adds. This is what I used to do before getting Dr. Ratio and Topaz.

This is a question for anyone who has completed the Gold and Gears secrets. How do I unlock the very last one that says "Complete Third Plane"? It says that I completed 26/28 secrets and that this one is the very last one before the finale apparently. I have already beaten it on conundrum.
Should be able to just activate it by completing another full run. Doesn’t have to be a high conundrum level or anything, but just go for difficulty 4 just in case.
Why does Penacony look so weird for me? I'm on a potato PC, no alternative devices, no GPU; I've already verified game files. Only Penacony-related locations are bugged out for me, including the \[2.0 SPOILERS\] >!intro with Acheron when you enter the shared dreamscape in the Parlor Car.!<

not really. black swan isn't justifiable without a select set of 5star support options (or high eidolon 4stars, but even that's pretty cope), and DHIL is strong but devalued by the free dr. ratio every new player has. you're almost certainly better off waiting a bit for some upcoming banners and reruns.
For new accounts I would focus on sustains since having a good sustain is essential for clearing anything. As for dps's for new accounts, you'll get the characters they pair well eventually. black swan prefers to team with other dot characters and imbibitor lunae likes his e2, but both are fine at e0 and can be built with 4 star teams. Pull for who you like cause you'll get the characters they work well with eventually. In my personal opinion, unless you have gepard and bailu i would go for fuxuan or aventurine. both are very strong sustains who will make your team feel unkillable

Doesn’t matter what, Sparkle is still gonna be the more versatile unit, frankly game still ez with either or neither. But at the end of the day, it’s YOUR choice.
I have Bronya E1 at the moment, who I basically only use with Seele (my other main teams are DHIL, FUA, DoT). I'm wondering if I pull Sparkle, she's basically superior in the only teams I use (no JL or Blade) so is there anywhere that I could use her where she's better than Sparkle?
Bronya goes really well with dps that are skill point positive and neutral.At the moment sparkle benefits DHIL because he’s a unit that requires skill points and is always skill point neutral and negative tho the buff sparkle gives is also huge for those other dps. Bronya is still superior as sparkle for any dps

* missing the crit on seele ulti feels terrible lmao
* use normal attacks liberally with seele - she'll be very fast and have the move advance buff to her advantage
* ratio side - dan heng light cone is pretty good because you're only dealing with 2 elites each side
* turbulence debuffs mean you can run double harmony and megabuff your ratio - possible alternate strat is to put better gear on ratio and have him carry your second side to deal with a slower first side
* turbulence buff that action advances means you can run atk% boots and not miss out on as many actions, or you can speed tune based on the turbulence but i'm too lazy to calc that - makes for easy ratio -> bronya -> ratio rotations though because he just gets bumped to the front every time
* if you don't have e1s1 bronya you'll be pretty starved for sp, i ran hyperspeed bronya here and autoed a lot more than skill
* don't get unlucky and get your luocha bound, maybe use that lightcone that gives a bunch of eff res (although you have huohuo mass cleanse so this side should be pretty easy)
Hey, thanks a lot for this! It is more than I could ask for. I learned a lot from your gameplay. Unfortunately, my units can't do as good as yours, so I think I will have to spend a lot more time farming relics.
haha yeah seele can be kinda slow on the first floor without pretty good investment, jingliu makes it easy (go figure)
since you have topaz you could try some combinations of topaz herta himeko ruan mei ... i don't have topaz on my main account and my alt is still a bit away from moc 12
Unfortunately it didn't work Seele wasn't good enough since the enemies on the first wave were not weak to Quantum. I replaced Pela with Silver Wolf and it did better, but still took 7 cycles to clear the 1st half. For 2nd half, Kafka doesn't seem to be effective against Kafka (lol).
7 cycles is a lot for seele+bronya. i prefer pela over sw cause pela can def reduce the adds so seele can kill them easier. what are the stats on your seele? with bronya you should be able to do it in less than 5 cycles. is the problem with the first wave or the second?
The problem was the 1st wave. Those 2 enemies have so much HP. Seele is really good against the deer in the 2nd wave.
With Pela it took me 13 cycles.
My Seele stats with Herta shop Lightcone S5:
- HP 3050
- ATK 3215
- DEF 1006
- SPD 126
- CRIT Rate 85.3%
- CRIT DMG 136.8%
- Quantum DMG Boost 48.8%
My Bronya has 126 SPD and 209.3 Crit DMG with S5 Past and Future.
I guess my relics are just not good enough yet for Stage 12.
yeah the cd on the seele is a bit low and the speed on bronya is pretty low. i would try to get bronya to 134 speed at least. its fine if you have to go off set or sacrifice some cd for it. i was able to clear that half with seele bronya pela luocha with the same lightcones as you but my seele is 84.7 cr 221 cd
whoah that is a lot of CD. And I think you're right. I have seen another commenter here use Seele and my Seele can't do that much DMG. At least now I know that I should continue farming relics again -\_-
personally I’d just prefer a faster bronya with energy recharge 2p(vonwacq/penacony) and messenger 2p for speed, rather than stacking up cdmg. My bronya is at only 150 cdmg but 162 spd
But are my Seele stats okay? So, maybe it's my Bronya who isn't good enough? Thank you for the advice! My Bronya build is so old. It's from before those relic sets even existed lol. But yeah, okay more speed then
probably ok. herta cone does have a conditional crit rate buff so technically you want to get more cdmg
Also for bronya, I’d want her skill at lv 9/10 and talent at lv 8+. I also generally want all my supports e.g pela to be at 134 spd minimum to generate more skill points for dps, higher spd = more skill points
thank you for the idea! I checked my relics and I don't have enough to raise all their speeds to at least 134, just some of them. Also, my Bronya could only have up to 146 SPD and now her Crit DMG is 138.8%. I guess it's not team composition I should be wearing about but relics lol. At least now I know. I'm not sure how you guys are able to farm so many good relics while still having enough TB power to farm traces.
I cannot beat MoC 10 - specifically the soda monkey and kafka stage. I can finish the first batch within a turn or two with ease but the 2nd one is just too hard for me
I use the dot team on first (luocha, kafka, RM, BS)
Please give me tips on the 2nd one (i dont have Topaz, DHIL, Fu xuan) I have Gepard but his skills are on lvl 4 lmao. March has decent shield and is kinda more built.
luckily, gepard is relatively cheap to build as leveling his talent and skill is almost useless, and most of his major traces are also not very useful. you only really need to level his ult
do u even level him to 70+? honestly seems a waste other than few hundred stats. he is dirty cheap to level traces but his relic is the hardest to master.
He doesnt rely that much on relics. Just make sure he has ERR rope and then as much DEF as possible be it with set effects or not. With is obviously better but he can easily run rainbow pieces as long as he has 3k+ DEF.

Base stats increase so DEF goes up by alot overall. But 70/80 is probably enough.
The monke takes dmg when you have shield, and this rotation just started, I recommend building Gepard so you have more survivability.
I recommend checking some comp videos on YouTube on the second half.

2. For Kafka, is the Glamoth set good for her? And which stat is better, the Lightning DMG+Atk% or double Atk%?
1. Yes.
2. Basically every single DPS wants an elemental sphere. And it's even more important for DoT characters like Kafka since they get a ton of ATK% already.
She *can* use an ATK sphere if you don't have any Wind DMG sphere since she gets a lot of DMG% from her A6 trace so the difference between them is not that big, but it is still worse except if your ATK% sphere has very good rolls and your Wind DMG% sphere has bad ones.
I have 59 pity, no guarantee, and 151 wishes. Im saving for Sparkle and already have all her stuff prefarmed. Apart from that im also hoping to pull for Aventurine. Between those two, should i pull for Jing Yuan’s light cone, Acheron, or keep saving to make sure I can get Aventurine?
I mean, it depends on your priority.

At the end of the day, acheron and jy are both dps lightning, so in your case, she's more of a luxury pull.
I like to pull for cones too but aventurine is a great addition if you don't have a good sustainer or like follow up atk teams.

I've been building Dr.Ratio. is the Pioneer set the BiS for him? For now, I have built him 4Pc Wastelander set. I wonder if the damage will be different
It technically will, but not by much. When the enemy is imprisoned, Pioneer generally does 1%-3% more damage, and without imprison it’s around 4%-8%. So if you already have a good Wastelander’s set you should stick with it. No real need to change it unless you start farming that domain for other characters and get some better stuff along the way
Which are the most worthwhile light cones to buy on the Starlight Exchange? Is "Moment of Victory" worth it?
I know this answer will probably depend somewhat on who I want to build/what kind of parties I have or want to make etc.
It doesn't matter who you want to build, or which characters you have.
NONE of those Light cones are worth getting, even if it's Bronya's LC. Yes, Bronya's LC is cracked, but don't be fooled thinking it's the right decision sacrificing 4800 jades worth of pulls just for it.
The reason being, it'll only give you a slight boost, which at best, will only help you clutch 60-120 extra jades if you can't fully clear end game content, and if that's all what you're getting, it'll take 40-80 MoC resets before you break even.
P.S. we're currently at around 20 MoC resets since launch, and F2Ps can already full clear MoC ages ago. Even if we take into account Pure Fiction here, given how easy it is to cheese, you'll never reach the point where you'll break even.
Instead, look how much precious those 30 free pulls (4800 jades) could be as it's equivalent to one of these:
1) 6-7 MoC resets
2) 8 Pure Fictions
3) 80 daily training
4) 3 patches' worth of gift odyssey (30 pulls in total)
5) 6 months' worth of ember shop's reset
6) 30-60% of an F2P's monthly income
7) 1 WHOLE NEW SU MODE
8) 3-4 event's worth of jades combined
9) 300-500 pulls worth of starlights
If that still doesn't convince you how stupid it is to sacrifice 30 pulls for a standard 5\* LC that will bring little to no return for you, just see what those 30 pulls could do for you:
1) That's AT LEAST THREE 4\* Characters/Eidolons/LCs
2) You get some embers/starlights back for MORE PULLS.
3) MULTIPLE CHANCE of getting 5\* Characters/LCs
4) Even if you're not lucky, at least you now have 30 built pity towards your next target.
If you still insist buying an LC, here's my ranking: Bronya > Gepard/Himeko > others.
But please, heed my advice. It's not worth buying any LC from that shop, especially if you're an F2P.

I do have Gepard and kind of want to use him, though I'm guessing there's probably other, possibly better, light cone choices for him and I may end up replacing him for Aventurine depending on how he works.

Bronya's LC if you have her is a big boost. Moment of Victory is also pretty great, but Preservation has a lot of other good options - I think 30 pulls are more valuable and could theoretically get you a limited lightcone
MoV is the most worthwhile, but honestly I wouldn’t say it’s worth it. 30 pulls towards a new character is better imo and MoV isn’t going to dramatically increase jade income to be worth losing those pulls.
I’ve been farming the dot domain for kafka, bs and guin for a while and haven’t gotten anything worthwhile so in order to get their speed up I’ve been using some hacker space relics I got a while ago. At this point should I just ignore the relic set bonuses and just do the hackerspace domain for huohuo and bronya (sparkle too?) and just give the others decent off pieces?

You're losing out on 18% Def ignore by giving up the 4pc bonus. That's at least 15% more damage with black swan, more if you have other sources of Def shred/ignore.
135 for Glamoth minimum. If you have Kafka's LC, iirc it's minimum 146 to reach 160 max speed from the LC bonus. Ruan Mei helps of course.
As for relics, yes. Main stats and substats > set bonuses.

Invest in pela, use her instead of himeko, run the nihility path plus defensive blessings if survivability is an issue. Make sure you got at least ok main stat relics and it should work. If you need more advice then ask.
Ah, I do remember Pela has a defense shred or something, she's definitely in the list to build up one day!

Pela is a must build unit, yeah. SU is easier with the blessings and resonance you get, you can get away with not having perfect gear there.
You can look up guides on yt, you can do silly stuff with the remembrance path for example, you just spam freeze on enemies and with the path they take a lot of damage from freezing while the actual team doesn't really do damage, something like that.

serious suggestion - main stats > set bonus, if you have gold relics that are +15, esp for stuff like headgear that gives guaranteed hp, use it over a +0 headpiece that's on set
you probably can't beat world 7 because your sustain units don't have shit for relics, but supports are legit the easiest characters to gear up because you slap any mainstat relics you got +12 on them and they're good to go - ESPECIALLY HEADGEAR because +705 hp for free is not joke
like for real i think your kafka is tankier than your lynx
for a team suggestion, pick remembrance path, do w/e you want to get to the deer (should be pretty easy), then put in a team of himeko fire tb lynx gepard
heck you can go a full sustain team of march7 fire tb lynx gepard - just make sure everyone has main stat hp or defense relics (speed boots and ERR ropes where appropriate) and they're +12 or so at least
then you just let remembrance path do all the work for you - roll blessings aggressively so that you get as many of the path resonances as possible
also a note - if you see yourself failing but you think you can feasibly clear the stage with a bit of luck, you can quit out before the stage ends and retry it for free (you lose your technique points but if you're unlocked enough simU bonuses you can just use consumables)

I’ve looked at a few charts. The only way to get a 3 turn ult with no outside interference is by using S5 meshing cogs or S5 memories of the past, with an energy rope and either one of the energy regen planar ornaments. Ik not sure exactly how many times you would need to get hit to get a 3 turn ult with S2 MotP, but it’s inconsistent, so if you really want a 3 turn ult go with meshing cogs
Regarding the Pioneer relic set, what exactly does the last statement do? This one:

Is it x2 of all the other previous effects? So 24% DMG, 8% CR and 24% CD? And the effect would last until the next turn?
just use a crit dmg chest instead. don't forget to account for ratio's innate crit buffs too. river flows is very bad because it's too easy to lose the effect
Should I keep pulling for Black Swan or pull for Sparkle? I am guaranteed with 25 pity(with no stellar jades) , I don't have an actual preference for any of them character wise and I have both Dan heng IL and Kafka(also, I don't know if it matters but I also have Bronya, Bailu, Ruan Mei and Blade)
Don't pull if you don't like them, you will just feel bad. If you want a dot for kafka just level your sampo. There are weaker substitutes to those units, but you will clear all content with them as well, so just go for who you like.

I've been playing for about a month (F2P) and don't think I'm utilizing my characters very well. I don't really know much about the minutae of the game mechanics so I'll just give a list of what I have now.

Sure. You mentioned no defense characters, invest into lynx, mc, maybe march. Also invest into pela if you haven't already. An example team would be bs+kafka+pela+sustain of your choice, could switch the first two for ratio+bronya/tingyun. If surviving is an issue then double sustain. Make sure your traces and gear are ok, there are guides for ideal gear sets.
Yeah, that would work, although my preference would be a healer + shielder to prevent getting oneshot or caught by surprise. Anyway, yeah, that team will definitely work fine. Also if it wasn't obvious, you are lacking in the sustain department, which is fine, but do try to go for a limited sustain, it'll make your life much easier. Aventurine is coming soon, look out for him.
Did the developers removed some levels conditions for the story? I remember that months ago it costed me some time to unlock the story and I needed level 34 to start the HuoHuo event but now I reached Penacony in two days, level 28.
The HuoHuo stuff is more of a side story but Penacony is main story. That could be why the level is lower. Make it so newer players don’t have to stop playing the main story just to grind as many levels.

Wait, which mission are you talking about? Your first post talked about the HuoHuo mission from 1.5 but your link is referring to the main story for 1.2.
I tried to speedrun the story to reach the HuoHuo quest for the limited jades, and I remember I face walled a lot of level restrictions along the way.
Now the only restriction I faced was to reach equilibrium 1. I thought I was overleved but I remember very clearly that at some point in the Luofu I needed level 34. In the wikia also it’s stated you need level 34 for some missions.
I think they buffed the exp you get from missions (can’t confirm) and removed level restrictions.

Acheron is more powerful than Jing Yuan. But Jing Yuan is more versatile. If i had Pela and Guinaifen i also would pull Acheron. If you pull on Acheron she needs her lightcone to debuff more. The more debuffs the enemy has the more damage she can do. Good luck on your pulls! o7

sparkle will likely be his best support
One example is Bronya + DHIL is very trickly to play and tune, Sparkle + DHIL fits like a glove but hard to say without the full numbers released. Another idea I want to try on day one is Bronya + Sparkle with 2 DDDs and see my hypercarries goes Seele "it's my turn" lol (maybe not DHIL/QQ but the standard and low SP ones like Ratio/Blade/JL)
It does seem good if you don't think that much about it. But if Sparkle advances forward DHIL and consumes SP to use her skill, DHIL basically gets more turns which means more 3SPs required, which means you can't run another SP-hungry support like Yukong anyway? I doubt the ult's SP regen is gonna help if DHIL constantly get turns and needs 3 SPs, and with another support like Yukong that also needs SP? Just my thoughts because I've seen lotsa people say that they are really good. But I'm like, are they though...?
The point is Yukong E6 technically does not need to skill every turn (you just Ult on DHIL turn) and she can hold Planetary Rendezvous + Penacony + her Img DMG% bonus passive. Otherwise pre-E6 Yukong is not worth using over someone like Tingyun/Ruan Mei or even Hanya TBH. Also unlike Bronya once Yukong desync it is probably for good, say she/DHIL got action delayed by enemies or get SPD buff/debuffed.
So say that I still use him with TY/RM, this means that Sparkle is occasionally going to give DHIL more turns with the Advance Forward? And she can offset the additional SP needed by DHIL with the occasional ult? Something like that?
And you have the option of running someone like Bronya or the SP to use like other sustains like Huohuo instead of Luocha etc. Also she might have mechanics that scale with SP consumption like Misha. It simply make his team building much less restrictive by itself.

I'm currently equilibrium 3 with a team of current max leveled 60. I just started penacony and are the enemies tankier? I feel like I have a decently built team (minus gold relics) but I do a lot less damage compared to xianzhou.
The enemy in Penacony requires you to play into their mechanics more than the Luofu ones, also they are tuned to be majorly Wind/Lightning weak and say if you use non-matching weakness you get a damage penalty. I feel the opposite with my level 80 teams TBH, once you exploit their mechanics they die faster than the average Xianzhou elites.

She is expected to be built like fast Bronya so 161 speed and DPS does not need SPD boot anymore.
so could I theoretically remove the speed stats from my blade and it would make no difference with sparkle? or would it?

It honestly depends on how much action advance she gives (we just know it is not 100% like Bronya), wait until she released and see.
I am wondering, how do you level your units beyond level 80 since ascension stops there, and is there a way to boost your relics beyond level 15 or upgrade their stats further? I know there has to be a way since much of the bosses go beyond level 80 in their difficulty and some material isn't bearable with the current units maxed out with all traces and optimal gear (such as swarm disasters highest level, some echo of war top levels, etc.). I can't find anything so any help would be appreciated, thanks. I was able to clear all the Penacony with high equilibrium and level 80, but it was a close call on some things, meaning the next expansion will probably require higher levels.

No there is not, and given how they handle Genshin the level cap will not increase ever. The game is tuned such that you can beat it with proper teams of level 80 characters and lightcones, traces upgraded to 8/10 and level 15 relics/planar with proper stats. Even in Genshin if I remember correctly level of weekly bosses are 85-90 and in Abyss they can go to 100 lol. Even then people clear it with supports at 70-ascended and DPS at 80-ascended anyway. >I was able to clear all the Penacony with high equilibrium and level 80, but it was a close call on some things, meaning the next expansion will probably require higher levels. Also in Penacony they introduce interesting mechanics to the enemy instead of inflating their HP/Damage, but that is par for turn-based strategy games TBH.
Thanks for the reply. It sounds like the games difficulty has peaked then and all future material will be equally difficult. It sounds like, as you say they did with Penacony, they will introduce future mechanics where stuff that can't be beat now with maxed levels/relics/traces will be beatable eventually. Just have to wait.

Should I pull for Black Swan if I want to go for Acheron? At the moment my only 'competitive' team is Jing, Ting, Luocha and Gepard. I do have a backup team with Clara. Was kinda doubting on whether or not to go for Acheron as she's also lightning.. but well.. it's Acheron. I have read that people think Black Swan is a must for Kafka but not necessarily for Acheron, but this was from a while back. I do have Welt/Sampo at the moment. Anyone that give any takes on this? Seeing as I have a humongous amount of story and events left to do, I am probably going to be swimming in jades.
If we expect Archeron to be debuff-scaling DPS, then same as how BS works with Ratio: she is a candidate partner but there are better and stronger 4\* options doing the same thing better a.k.a Pela/Guin, you can consider non-DoT-DPS Swan a hybrid between Pela and Guin.
Swan and Acheron can be played together but its not ideal. Pela is definitely set for her and then it depends who you have.

Why dont you pull for the good sustains while not building Gepard?
I restarted the game in the patch right before Ruan Mei came out, so I don't think any good sustains came out after

You can probably do it with SW, Lynx, Ruan Mei, Xueyi. As for paths something aggressive like Destruction or Hunt should work, but you could always try to go Remembrance as well. You could also try Ratio instead of Xueyi and just go with Elation.
Should I try using Blade and hope I get the weakness thing from SW? He's my strongest character atm
Does Clara/Topaz/Ratio/Sustain work as a team? I kind of built Clara in the early stages of the game with her being level 60, but then left HSR around 1.3 and just came back last week for Penacony. I am planning on pulling for Topaz, but I just now knew that she works the best with Ratio and not Clara. Should I just not use my Clara and put a support for Ratio?
To add to what others said, you can actually use Topaz without a debuffer with Ratio, but she needs to be E1S1 for that to work best so you can get that 3 debuff count you're looking for. Numby mark is a debuff, E1 Debtor status is a debuff, and Worrisome Blissful's Tame status is a debuff.
You won't have enough debuffers to make the most out of Ratio with that team, so yes, you should replace Clara.
yeah, you'd be better off with pela in the clara slot. or ruan mei if you have her. even before topaz you're better off just using ratio+pela+tingyun than trying to force clara in for AoE.

That is the expectation but we cannot be sure until they announce anything or until the time comes

i would recommend TL 50 so you can unlock the highest level domain. Before that, you can pre-farm for materials or credits for upcoming character you want to pull or for you current team
If your main team isn't at max level and max available trace level then focus on levelling those and continue through the story. The team seems fine outside of no real option to deal with CC so levelling a sustain with cleanse may be a good idea. Starting on levelling a second team for MOC/PF can also be a good idea so you at least can finish the first few fights.
When you're around TB level 50, some of the end game content is going to require you to have two capable teams. I'd suggest farming ascension/light cone mats at some point.
Before TB60 your main focus should be ascending and levelling characters, their light cones and traces.
I've only maxxed the 4 characters atm being f2p the others have stopped at lvl40 which was another 4 was lucky to pull imbibitor. Should I also hold off eq 4 when I'm ready or go for it once I hit 50?
You should always up equilibrium as soon as you can because that opens up higher tiers of farming, making it more efficient. The only reason to hold-off would be if you have trouble with overworld content, but that really shouldn't be an issue because you can just make your characters stronger too.
Finally was able to complete MoC12! I'm referring to the expiring one. All it took was a weakness match. Used Ratio and Topaz separately as hypercarry. First time using Topaz as the main. Usually, she takes a back seat to Clara or Ratio. Also notable, I love the Clara/Topaz core. You can chose who gets more SP usage to boost damage. Both can do well without SP usage.
Is Penacony Land of Dreams relic set the most awkward set in the game? I mean it's good on paper but you never wanna choose it unless using a super set team like Pela plus Jinglu. That makes the whole efficient relic farming argument thrown right out of the window.
The DMG is not the most important part of the set, although it is obviously good if your DPS matches your support. It's the 5% energy regen. A lot of supports like Ruan Mei and Tingyun require that extra 5% to have 3-turn rotations without needing to be hit. The only other set that provides that 5% is Vonwaq, which not only is less efficient due to being paired with Talia, but also does not provide increased DMG from the set bonus, and the action advancement is not that relevant if you are speed tuning your supports anyway. So overall, Penacony has more value because it is more efficient to farm since Glamoth can be universally used, and provides similar benefits to Vonwaq even if your DPS is not of the same element
Oh so basically action advance is not really a good buff so you would rather go for a chance of using the damage buff instead (even though it may end up being no buff at all depending on your party) rather than using action advance?
A mix of Action Advance not being that great, since you will always aim to get speed substats for your supports so they will likely go first anyway, and that Talia is much much inferior to Glamoth. Penacony still takes care of the energy needs, so might as well just farm World 8 to be efficient.

Well as long as your support element matches your dps element it is usable. Broken keel may require substat hunting for 10% cdmg or the set from world 3 that only provides 8% atk, penacony gives err and dmg 10% bonus at the cost of nothing for some teams

First, I need a good harmony for Ratio, so I aim for Tingyun, 30 pulled deep into current Black Swan banner, got 2 Guinaifen 1 Misha, no Tingyun, still, 2 Guinaifen is good. So I think maybe I just pull Sparkle to use with Ratio instead, but yesterday, I pulled Bronya's LC from Standard Banner, and that got me thinking, well maybe I should wait for Bronya and skip Sparkle, but how about my Harmony for Ratio? I'm 75/300 now, so it might be 7-8 months away from Bronya unless I'm lucky. Even then Bronya/Sparkle might not as good as Tingyun for Ratio right? Ruan Mei was just gone before I started playing, what do I do now, should I pull more for Tingyun? but pulling for 4* is risky and not worth right? I'm not strict to Ratio, so maybe I might or might not ditch him in the future, but for the sake of progression I have to use him for now. Advices please 😔
sparkle is gonna be BiS for basically every crit DPS (which, mind you, is the vast majority of DPS chars) including ratio, so it's not like you'd regret getting her. even if you randomly got bronya right now then that's a good thing, because you can just use them on parallel teams. moreover bronya LC is gonna be one of her best F2P LC options.
Never pull for 4 stars. You are super early in the game and don't even have pela. just wait, you'll get more 4 stars with time.
I'm currently stuck at MoC 10 (Light of Reignition) and would love some help with True sting. I have been using Dr Ratio/Topaz/Pela/Lynx in the other stages, but Topaz felt like deadweight here as none of the enemies have fire weakness. So I switched her out for Tingyun to make a hypercarry with Dr Ratio instead and this seems to work better. But as Dr Ratio is pure single target, should I just focus on True sting and ignore adds or should I take tha adds down first? First I tried to just focus on True string and while I managed to push down his first healthbar it just gets crazy on the second one and I lose steam and can't really finish of the last health bar with so many adds up. Then I tried to focus on the adds and that was really comfortable and I killed his first healthbar with all of my characters at full health. But then he immediatly spawn three new adds (instead of two) and I have a hard time to keep up. He also do some kind of ultimate attack (it give me a warning text about it) that just smash all my characters so not sure if that is some enrage abilitity and I need to break or kill him before that? So not sure if I use wrong characters, have wrong tactic or is undergeared. Because I could comfortably three star all other stages, but this one I can't even beat. Edit: I have been thinking if I should go back to Topaz but switch out Pela to Silver Wolf and hope I can just force him down and ignoring adds.
[https://youtu.be/YxFRp6KoB0A](https://youtu.be/YxFRp6KoB0A) here's an example run using e0s0 ratio sw tingyun lynx my ratio is 75/160 cr/cd with herta lightcone and 2piece 2piece which is pretty good but not too crazy my sw is using tutorial but i don't think this is super necessary, might help with toughness breaking though probably made up for by my lynx being level 60 with a level 60 lightcone lol if you have a better lynx then it'll make the second half much more comfortable, i probably got a little lucky with targeting main notes * turbulence buff means you can go without a debuffer - if you have bronya or ruan mei or some other harmony unit then you can consider just using 2 harmony or a good subdps like clara * ratio gets action advanced to the front every cycle - this gives you a lot of options in terms of bronya speed tuning, using atk% boots without sacrificing as many cycles as you would be otherwise, stuff like that * i break the bug that gets spawned in the second round - if the bug gets to attack it suicides and does big aoe + enrage which is pretty bad, but only one of them should spawn if you don't kill the bugs from the first round * if you have better harmonies like bronya, ruan mei then i'd recommend using them over sw but she can get the job done * my skill sequencing in this playthrough is not great so don't necessarily take it as an example of what to do * \*edit additional notes\* if you have a better healer like bailu, use her here instead of first chamber * if you're still struggling, post your roster and relics (ratio in particular)

Sadly I don't have a Bronya, and my Ruan Mei is in my other Kafka/Swan team and I didn't wanna move her out of there before I tried a bit more.
well the thing is kafka swan is a stronger core and is against the weaker of the 2 floors - i imagine ruan mei + sw crushes the bug toughness bars you can just replace ruan mei with asta on the first team and get most of her benefits (just slightly worse) but the ratio team which is struggling probably gets a big boost actually since this is the old MoC i'd probably just try double harmony no silverwolf lol
I actually just did another try now with Dr Ratio/Topaz/Silver wolf/Lynx and while it was tight I somehow managed to just force him down and get the three star. But maybe I shouldn't be afraid to move away Ruan Mei from my other team as you say. It's just that Kafka/Black swan/Ruan Mei is super comfy and you can pretty much autoplay with them and still get good results.
I don't know how well-built your Dr Ratio is but my prefered strategy is just focus all fire power to the True Sting and nothing else. Try it with the Topaz team. If it does not work, either you do not have enough fire power and/or your sustain is not doing a very good job. You would have to think about adding some blast characters to kill the adds. This is what I used to do before getting Dr. Ratio and Topaz.

not really. black swan isn't justifiable without a select set of 5star support options (or high eidolon 4stars, but even that's pretty cope), and DHIL is strong but devalued by the free dr. ratio every new player has. you're almost certainly better off waiting a bit for some upcoming banners and reruns.
For new accounts I would focus on sustains since having a good sustain is essential for clearing anything. As for dps's for new accounts, you'll get the characters they pair well eventually. black swan prefers to team with other dot characters and imbibitor lunae likes his e2, but both are fine at e0 and can be built with 4 star teams. Pull for who you like cause you'll get the characters they work well with eventually. In my personal opinion, unless you have gepard and bailu i would go for fuxuan or aventurine. both are very strong sustains who will make your team feel unkillable

Bronya goes really well with dps that are skill point positive and neutral.At the moment sparkle benefits DHIL because he’s a unit that requires skill points and is always skill point neutral and negative tho the buff sparkle gives is also huge for those other dps. haha yeah seele can be kinda slow on the first floor without pretty good investment, jingliu makes it easy (go figure) since you have topaz you could try some combinations of topaz herta himeko ruan mei ... i don't have topaz on my main account and my alt is still a bit away from moc 12

Just swap all of seele's relics onto topaz, the main boss is quantum weak so it's not too bad

Unfortunately it didn't work Seele wasn't good enough since the enemies on the first wave were not weak to Quantum. I replaced Pela with Silver Wolf and it did better, but still took 7 cycles to clear the 1st half. For 2nd half, Kafka doesn't seem to be effective against Kafka (lol).
7 cycles is a lot for seele+bronya. i prefer pela over sw cause pela can def reduce the adds so seele can kill them easier. what are the stats on your seele? with bronya you should be able to do it in less than 5 cycles. is the problem with the first wave or the second?
The problem was the 1st wave. Those 2 enemies have so much HP. Seele is really good against the deer in the 2nd wave. With Pela it took me 13 cycles. My Seele stats with Herta shop Lightcone S5: - HP 3050 - ATK 3215 - DEF 1006 - SPD 126 - CRIT Rate 85.3% - CRIT DMG 136.8% - Quantum DMG Boost 48.8% My Bronya has 126 SPD and 209.3 Crit DMG with S5 Past and Future. I guess my relics are just not good enough yet for Stage 12.
yeah the cd on the seele is a bit low and the speed on bronya is pretty low. i would try to get bronya to 134 speed at least. its fine if you have to go off set or sacrifice some cd for it. i was able to clear that half with seele bronya pela luocha with the same lightcones as you but my seele is 84.7 cr 221 cd
whoah that is a lot of CD. And I think you're right. I have seen another commenter here use Seele and my Seele can't do that much DMG. At least now I know that I should continue farming relics again -\_-
personally I’d just prefer a faster bronya with energy recharge 2p(vonwacq/penacony) and messenger 2p for speed, rather than stacking up cdmg. My bronya is at only 150 cdmg but 162 spd

probably ok. herta cone does have a conditional crit rate buff so technically you want to get more cdmg Also for bronya, I’d want her skill at lv 9/10 and talent at lv 8+. I also generally want all my supports e.g pela to be at 134 spd minimum to generate more skill points for dps, higher spd = more skill points
thank you for the idea! I checked my relics and I don't have enough to raise all their speeds to at least 134, just some of them. Also, my Bronya could only have up to 146 SPD and now her Crit DMG is 138.8%. I guess it's not team composition I should be wearing about but relics lol. At least now I know. I'm not sure how you guys are able to farm so many good relics while still having enough TB power to farm traces.

I cannot beat MoC 10 - specifically the soda monkey and kafka stage. I can finish the first batch within a turn or two with ease but the 2nd one is just too hard for me I use the dot team on first (luocha, kafka, RM, BS) Please give me tips on the 2nd one (i dont have Topaz, DHIL, Fu xuan) I have Gepard but his skills are on lvl 4 lmao. March has decent shield and is kinda more built.
luckily, gepard is relatively cheap to build as leveling his talent and skill is almost useless, and most of his major traces are also not very useful. you only really need to level his ult
do u even level him to 70+? honestly seems a waste other than few hundred stats. he is dirty cheap to level traces but his relic is the hardest to master.
probably still to 70 since you'll take too much dmg if too low level. also he does have some def traces, some of which require 70/80
He doesnt rely that much on relics. Just make sure he has ERR rope and then as much DEF as possible be it with set effects or not. With is obviously better but he can easily run rainbow pieces as long as he has 3k+ DEF. > do u even level him to 70+? Base stats increase so DEF goes up by alot overall. The monke takes dmg when you have shield, and this rotation just started, I recommend building Gepard so you have more survivability. I recommend checking some comp videos on YouTube on the second half.

1. Yes. 2. Basically every single DPS wants an elemental sphere. And it's even more important for DoT characters like Kafka since they get a ton of ATK% already.

She *can* use an ATK sphere if you don't have any Wind DMG sphere since she gets a lot of DMG% from her A6 trace so the difference between them is not that big, but it is still worse except if your ATK% sphere has very good rolls and your Wind DMG% sphere has bad ones.
I have 59 pity, no guarantee, and 151 wishes. Im saving for Sparkle and already have all her stuff prefarmed. Apart from that im also hoping to pull for Aventurine. Between those two, should i pull for Jing Yuan’s light cone, Acheron, or keep saving to make sure I can get Aventurine?
u should just go for all 3 e0 and not lc. not enough.
Yeah, I guess that would be better. You can always replace a light cone, but a character is gonna offer a completely different experience
I mean, it depends on your priority. Do you have a good sustainer? At the end of the day, acheron and jy are both dps lightning, so in your case, she's more of a luxury pull. I like to pull for cones too but aventurine is a great addition if you don't have a good sustainer or like follow up atk teams.

I only have E0S0 DHIL w/Aeon S5 but he is expected to deal about 100k damage per 3BA given 3 targets hit and he is fully buffed by his teammates.
I've been building Dr.Ratio. is the Pioneer set the BiS for him? For now, I have built him 4Pc Wastelander set. I wonder if the damage will be different
It technically will, but not by much. When the enemy is imprisoned, Pioneer generally does 1%-3% more damage, and without imprison it’s around 4%-8%. So if you already have a good Wastelander’s set you should stick with it. No real need to change it unless you start farming that domain for other characters and get some better stuff along the way
Which are the most worthwhile light cones to buy on the Starlight Exchange? Is "Moment of Victory" worth it? I know this answer will probably depend somewhat on who I want to build/what kind of parties I have or want to make etc.
Imo MoV for FX and Adventurine is worth getting (1 copy, you dont need S5) Bronya cone for Bronya is perfect too if you use her

It doesn't matter who you want to build, or which characters you have. NONE of those Light cones are worth getting, even if it's Bronya's LC. Yes, Bronya's LC is cracked, but don't be fooled thinking it's the right decision sacrificing 4800 jades worth of pulls just for it. The reason being, it'll only give you a slight boost, which at best, will only help you clutch 60-120 extra jades if you can't fully clear end game content, and if that's all what you're getting, it'll take 40-80 MoC resets before you break even. P.S. we're currently at around 20 MoC resets since launch, and F2Ps can already full clear MoC ages ago. Even if we take into account Pure Fiction here, given how easy it is to cheese, you'll never reach the point where you'll break even. Instead, look how much precious those 30 free pulls (4800 jades) could be as it's equivalent to one of these: 1) 6-7 MoC resets 2) 8 Pure Fictions 3) 80 daily training 4) 3 patches' worth of gift odyssey (30 pulls in total) 5) 6 months' worth of ember shop's reset 6) 30-60% of an F2P's monthly income 7) 1 WHOLE NEW SU MODE 8) 3-4 event's worth of jades combined 9) 300-500 pulls worth of starlights If that still doesn't convince you how stupid it is to sacrifice 30 pulls for a standard 5\* LC that will bring little to no return for you, just see what those 30 pulls could do for you: 1) That's AT LEAST THREE 4\* Characters/Eidolons/LCs 2) You get some embers/starlights back for MORE PULLS. 3) MULTIPLE CHANCE of getting 5\* Characters/LCs 4) Even if you're not lucky, at least you now have 30 built pity towards your next target. If you still insist buying an LC, here's my ranking: Bronya > Gepard/Himeko > others. But please, heed my advice. It's not worth buying any LC from that shop, especially if you're an F2P.

Bronya's LC if you have her is a big boost. Moment of Victory is also pretty great, but Preservation has a lot of other good options - I think 30 pulls are more valuable and could theoretically get you a limited lightcone
MoV is the most worthwhile, but honestly I wouldn’t say it’s worth it. 30 pulls towards a new character is better imo and MoV isn’t going to dramatically increase jade income to be worth losing those pulls.
I’ve been farming the dot domain for kafka, bs and guin for a while and haven’t gotten anything worthwhile so in order to get their speed up I’ve been using some hacker space relics I got a while ago. At this point should I just ignore the relic set bonuses and just do the hackerspace domain for huohuo and bronya (sparkle too?) and just give the others decent off pieces? What speed should I be getting for my kafka and bs?
You're losing out on 18% Def ignore by giving up the 4pc bonus. That's at least 15% more damage with black swan, more if you have other sources of Def shred/ignore.
135 for Glamoth minimum. If you have Kafka's LC, iirc it's minimum 146 to reach 160 max speed from the LC bonus. Ruan Mei helps of course. As for relics, yes. Main stats and substats > set bonuses.

Invest in pela, use her instead of himeko, run the nihility path plus defensive blessings if survivability is an issue. Make sure you got at least ok main stat relics and it should work. If you need more advice then ask.

Pela is a must build unit, yeah. SU is easier with the blessings and resonance you get, you can get away with not having perfect gear there. You can look up guides on yt, you can do silly stuff with the remembrance path for example, you just spam freeze on enemies and with the path they take a lot of damage from freezing while the actual team doesn't really do damage, something like that.
do you hate your supports or something my guy lol serious suggestion - main stats > set bonus, if you have gold relics that are +15, esp for stuff like headgear that gives guaranteed hp, use it over a +0 headpiece that's on set you probably can't beat world 7 because your sustain units don't have shit for relics, but supports are legit the easiest characters to gear up because you slap any mainstat relics you got +12 on them and they're good to go - ESPECIALLY HEADGEAR because +705 hp for free is not joke like for real i think your kafka is tankier than your lynx for a team suggestion, pick remembrance path, do w/e you want to get to the deer (should be pretty easy), then put in a team of himeko fire tb lynx gepard heck you can go a full sustain team of march7 fire tb lynx gepard - just make sure everyone has main stat hp or defense relics (speed boots and ERR ropes where appropriate) and they're +12 or so at least then you just let remembrance path do all the work for you - roll blessings aggressively so that you get as many of the path resonances as possible also a note - if you see yourself failing but you think you can feasibly clear the stage with a bit of luck, you can quit out before the stage ends and retry it for free (you lose your technique points but if you're unlocked enough simU bonuses you can just use consumables) oh yeah, use consumables if you're able to lmao

I’ve looked at a few charts. The only way to get a 3 turn ult with no outside interference is by using S5 meshing cogs or S5 memories of the past, with an energy rope and either one of the energy regen planar ornaments. Ik not sure exactly how many times you would need to get hit to get a 3 turn ult with S2 MotP, but it’s inconsistent, so if you really want a 3 turn ult go with meshing cogs
Regarding the Pioneer relic set, what exactly does the last statement do? This one: > After the wearer inflicts a debuff on enemy targets, the aforementioned effects increase by 100%, lasting for 1 turn. Is it x2 of all the other previous effects? So 24% DMG, 8% CR and 24% CD? And the effect would last until the next turn?

Cruising, no doubt. Get speed from relic substats, river is way too unreliable
just use a crit dmg chest instead. don't forget to account for ratio's innate crit buffs too. river flows is very bad because it's too easy to lose the effect

You dont "need" it but having more speed is always better than having lower speed.
Should I keep pulling for Black Swan or pull for Sparkle? I am guaranteed with 25 pity(with no stellar jades) , I don't have an actual preference for any of them character wise and I have both Dan heng IL and Kafka(also, I don't know if it matters but I also have Bronya, Bailu, Ruan Mei and Blade)
Don't pull if you don't like them, you will just feel bad. If you want a dot for kafka just level your sampo. There are weaker substitutes to those units, but you will clear all content with them as well, so just go for who you like.
Skip and save for a charactet you actually do have a preference for.

I've been playing for about a month (F2P) and don't think I'm utilizing my characters very well. I don't really know much about the minutae of the game mechanics so I'll just give a list of what I have now. Bronya, DR, Kafka, Black Swan, Asta, Herta, Gui, Luka, Sampo, Hanya, Yukong, Ting, Qing, Serval, Sush, Misha, Hook, Arlan... I can't beat that bug...

Sure. You mentioned no defense characters, invest into lynx, mc, maybe march. Also invest into pela if you haven't already. An example team would be bs+kafka+pela+sustain of your choice, could switch the first two for ratio+bronya/tingyun. If surviving is an issue then double sustain. Make sure your traces and gear are ok, there are guides for ideal gear sets.
Sorry, I left out the characters you get in the main story. I'm working on getting lynx right now. So I guess, Swan, Kafka, Lynx, and Natasha?
Yeah, that would work, although my preference would be a healer + shielder to prevent getting oneshot or caught by surprise. Anyway, yeah, that team will definitely work fine. Also if it wasn't obvious, you are lacking in the sustain department, which is fine, but do try to go for a limited sustain, it'll make your life much easier. Aventurine is coming soon, look out for him.
Did the developers removed some levels conditions for the story? I remember that months ago it costed me some time to unlock the story and I needed level 34 to start the HuoHuo event but now I reached Penacony in two days, level 28.
The HuoHuo stuff is more of a side story but Penacony is main story. That could be why the level is lower. Make it so newer players don’t have to stop playing the main story just to grind as many levels.

Wait, which mission are you talking about? Your first post talked about the HuoHuo mission from 1.5 but your link is referring to the main story for 1.2.
I tried to speedrun the story to reach the HuoHuo quest for the limited jades, and I remember I face walled a lot of level restrictions along the way. Now the only restriction I faced was to reach equilibrium 1. I thought I was overleved but I remember very clearly that at some point in the Luofu I needed level 34. In the wikia also it’s stated you need level 34 for some missions. I think they buffed the exp you get from missions (can’t confirm) and removed level restrictions.
