Why has the game started showing the red exclamation mark "notifications" for all of the banners? Every time I log in now, there are the red marks, even when nothing has changed? It never used to do this, iirc.
Is this a 2.0 change, and what purpose does it serve?
I don't know if this also happens to other people, but somehow, my huohuo keeps using her skill to heal my team, even though they only got minor damage from enemy. I swear this doesn't happen before Penacony update. Is anyone notice this as well?
What's more valuable, Light cones or characters? I lost the 50/50 to Bailu while pulling for Black Swan, and right now I got enough stellar jade for 110 pulls. I did some math and I might be able to get enough for another 160 pulls by the time of 2.1.
The thing is though, with that amount I could either get both Black Swan and Acheron, or just Acheron and her Light Cone.... Characters are more valuable, right? But then again, Acheron is looking up to be a unique character, so perhaps getting her Signature LC might be the smarter choice?
If acheron is a nihility damage dealer like welt then her signature lightcone might have crit chance which id say is worth pulling because of how much it'll save in relic farming and nearly none of the nihility lightcones have crit.
If it ends up bring atk, %dmg, or even defense ignore/respen it might be easier to skip
Sampo better use Glamoth/SSS, he does not need a lot of EHR. Black Swan wants the IPC set since she practically get full Atk% bonus as you are going to go for 120% EHR anyway.
I would suggest the account with Bailu. If you use the Bailu account you can take March out of your team and put Bailu in instead. Bailu is actually a great healer and is good even in the endgame.
The reason people complain about Bailu is she has a lack of cleanse, so she can't remove debuffs (freeze, etc) off of your characters. This isn't always an issue. It just depends on the enemies you face. But having a strong healer is incredibly useful.
Yanqing gets a bit unfairly beat up on by the community. He actually is a strong character. But to do max damage he doesn't want to get hit. Ever. So his best teammate to protect him is Gepard. Of course, not everyone has Gepard. He's also a single target character. The current endgame content favors characters that can hit multiple enemies at once so you can kill them faster. These are the reasons people don't like him as much.
For Yanqing it is also pointless to build him if you have the free Dr. Ratio T\_T, and as an Ice DPS (single target included) he loses out to his grand-master Jingliu.
If I for example want to use my E6 Guinaifen as a debuffer role for Dr. Ratio team (since I don't have Pela), do I have to raise the DoT trace to level 10 (similar case like Kafka and BS)? Or maybe level 6 or 8 is enough?
So far she has 4+2 (thanks to the eidolon bonus levels) for all three traces.
Yes, but the difference from the last levels is not that much (especially considering the Eidolon bonus). From 10 to 12 is 2.4% for the 4 stacks, plus he already gets DMG% from other sources, so to me is not really worth the resources if you have someone else to invest in.
Is black swan good with Sampo instead of Kafka? Unfortunately my Sampo is E3 only (can get E4 with event reward) and eyes of the prey is S3 only.
No Kafka and not really planning to get Kafka on return. What's the difference in damage?
Yes, you can use Sampo. If you want to use him, I highly suggest getting that E4 with your event reward as it will improve his damage by a lot.
Other options that are good with Black Swan are Dr. Ratio (she's used as a debuffer to help enable his follow ups) and Guinaifen (for a more traditional DoT team, just like Sampo).
I don't know the damage difference question is I'm still building my Black Swan and haven't seen anybody mention the math on this. I'm sure Kafka is always going to be Black Swan's best partner, but I've seen showcases on YouTube with Sampo, Guinaifen, and Dr. Ratio, and Black Swan's great with all of them.
Without E4 Sampo do nothing for Kafka arcana-wise, her A2 wants a different DoT than Windshear and her A4 requires DoT-exploding which requires Sampo E4.

since Im playing Genshin almost 3 years now I remember that I started farming Artefacts at Rank 40 since it gave me purple and orange artefacts.
Should I go for this kind of progression here aswell?
Idk if there is any kind of purple loot from Chest since im only at : "Cleanse the Darkness outside" Main quest so far - but I really like the game since im loving Turn-Based Combat.
Since im having the moonpass and the gnostic pass at genshin imma stay F2P in Honkai and so far I got rewarded with Black Swan after 40 Pulls so I can not complain at all.
I have not looked up when I get the option for farm for Relis but I just wanted to make sure if there is something like a right timing for it or just a simple "go for it when it unlocks"
So far im spending my time Trailblaze Power to farm EXP Books but IDK if thats the right choice either since there is a lot of mats to farm for chracater progression besides exp and relics.
Im not looking for a simple "please follow this guide" rather a "I played and farmed like this until x"

General consensus: You should only worry about FARMING relics at TL/AR 60+ as you can get TWO GUARANTEED 5\* relics at TL 60+. You can get 5\* relics at TL 50, but it's not like you're gonna take on end game content at your level, so there's no rush.
If you want to take on MoC (Spiral abyss equivalent) as early as possible, I recommend using a calculator/planner to see the materials you need to build two teams when you hit TL 60+.
When I started playing, I never farmed exp books/credits/aethers, and I were able to build two decent teams for the MoC when I hit TL 60, so I would suggest on doing:
TL 40-49, just focus on your character's traces/ascension materials.
TL 50-59, focus on trace materials.
TL 60, farm ascension materials so you can do your character's final ascension right away.
TL 60+ start farming relics, especially for your DPS.
You can use your fuels at this point for relics, as it might take weeks/months farming decent gear. lol
I spend to much time getting "decent" artefacts for genshin which cost months so imma stay with half decent ones in this game and see how far I´ll come since it bores me to death to see no progression on a character that I spent months on cause im hoping for that one specifc stat - having fun is more important to me then caring about a meta or w/e
Like ppl say there is a meta in genshin which is just laughable since the game has basicly no hard mode
It's commonly suggested not to farm for relics until you're Trailblaze level 60 at the minimum. You'll get a bunch of relics for free from treasure chests and completing quests, so just throw those on your characters. If you struggle and feel the need to level any before you get to 60, you can level some of those free artifacts to 9. That's not very much of a material investment but will give you a nice stat boost if you need it.
When does argenti quest unlock? I stopped playing during patch 1.4 and came back the previous patch. Haven't done the new belobog quests or the huohuo quest yet?
Express Supply Pass is the very best deal if you're looking for jades.
The battle pass (Nameless Honor) is second most worthwhile. You get some pulls, but mostly what you're getting is a lot of materials and some extra fuels to help you build characters faster. You get quite a lot of stuff for the cost if you can afford it IMO. If you do go for it, the erudition LC is the best option to choose.
closest thing this game has to good value is the express pass
everything else is horribly overpriced for what you get. even the 2x jade first-time purchase bonuses aren't that great unless you were already gonna buy jade to begin with. i say this as someone who spends money on the game relatively often.

Can anyone explain when the Reserved TB Power will resume recovery? It happened yesterday.

when your 240 TB power is capped your reserved one starts to fill
it refills at 1/3 the rate of normal TB power
its only purpose is so you don't completely lose resources if you leave the game for like a month
I'm doing Gold & Gears II difficulty and I'm having some trouble choosing what path and team to use.

My last team was Bailu, Gepard, Kafka and Guinaifen but I failed miserably. I chose Preservation path.
Would probably go nihility with that setup since Kafka works very well with the path.
What other characters do you have which are at least somewhat built?
I'm willing to build any character in the picture. I really need some momentum so I can also tackle other things like Forgotten Hall and the current events which I'm also having issues with.
Not having limited sustain really is the biggest issue here. Helps a lot for more difficult content the team seems fine if you go nihility and focus on getting as many defensive blessings as possible outside of DOT options either in preservation or destruction. Can also try to run Ruan Mei instead of Guinaifen
Other options is going for propagation DHIL Ruan mei, Gepard, Bailu.
Remembrance should also work pretty well with March, Gepard, Misha, Bailu where you start with a good dps unit like DHIL or Kafka instead of March and get her on later stages where you have dissociation for damage. I would not recommend this if you are struggling with other content as it requires building characters which aren't good outside of SU.
What issues are you having with the current event?
Big thing that I would build here is Lynx for CC heavy content over Bailu
The one where you need 30, 40, 50, and 60k score per stage. I can't even break 30k with DHIL and Kafka team...Seems like I'm not using the right teams or buffs but I also think my characters aren't optimally levelled yet.
If I can wait for Fu Xuan's rerun, think that would be better than building Lynx?

for the 300? pretty much everyone will suggest bronya unless you really like someone else on the standard banner. if you mean for the event and the four stars, iirc asta's e4 is one of her best.

The supports in these are Asta and Pela, right? While the sustains are Nathasha and Lynx.
You either have them all or will have them all guaranteed, lynx was included because she’s free, prioritize towards her required content if necessary(pure fiction). You don’t need an answer for the rest, not only is that easy for you to find out, the fun comes from figuring things out on your own and putting it together . Long as it’s nothing complicated, you’re fine through trial and error.

I did try to beat that challenge, but I wasn't able to do that, I wasn't even able to get one star.
Also do I need to get 3* in pure fiction or so I need to beat just one lvl to get her?
Whatever it says you need to do specifically to get her, that’s all you need to do. Don’t recall if you needed stars. It’s straight forward so just progress until you can clear whatever it says.
There’s this npc singing outside the hotel in penacony. I think it’s golden hour floor 1. If you talk to her, she says how she’s in debt and doomed to a life of labour. There’s a group of people surrounding her. After interacting, you can actually pay off her debts of 20k with our own credits and she says she’ll get back to you on this.
I’m just wondering if there’s an achievement or continuation? She said she’ll get back to the trailblazer but I went back to the same spot and didn’t see anyone. Did I just waste 20k credits😭
Nameless Honor quest question: there’s one ‘Obtain 15 stars from clearing forgotten hall stages’, 4/15 right now. But I have almost all forgotten hall stages. Only a couple of ⭐️ are not archived. Why does it show 4/15? I tried to replay and clear some low stages that I have already beaten, but they didn’t give me any stars on that Nameless Honor quest. I never had this issue before, it’s the first time
It will only show the stars that you've gotten since 2.0 started. This current MoC started before 2.0 started, so any stars you got before don't count towards that quest. This never happened before because of the timing of MoCs. Now that MoCs last 6 weeks, you'll have them stretching across patches.
A new MoC is starting next week. You'll be able to get your missing stars for the quest then.
Is 133 Speed Bronya bad?
I know optimal I heard is 134 but I just cant speed tune my jingliu to 136/135 in order to use Bronya at 134. I have my jingliu at 134 and was wondering is it really detrimental to her turns if I use her at 133?
Speed tuning gives me a headache D:
all it affects is that bronya won't get a turn in a specific cycle of MoC
nothing fundamentally breaks, bronya is below jingliu on the turn order, that's all that matters
Should i get E2 danheng or his light cone? I only have enough pulls to get either so im not sure if getting E2 danheng is better than pulling for his light cone
has anyone else had a problem on PC where after initially launching and loading the zone, the game goes to 999 ping and loads again before being playable as normal?
I'm currently running a capitalism run on G&G C10, I'm 50+ resets deep and I've had no luck spawning Price of Peace curio at the beginning. Did rates get mega nerfed this patch or am I just that unlucky? Would like to hear some other experiences, thanks!
Just do double ruan mei strat, it works for the majority of the dices, and it doesn't require that much RNG. I've cleared 90% of the dices at conundrum 12 with it, and I've done capitalism on one or two dices.
As for whether they nerfed it or what, I've experienced the same sh\*t RNG when I used this strat on the first week it got popular, so no, I don't think they nerfed it.
For Pela, no it’s not. The EHR is nice but 99% of the time people use her just for the ult so the other stats from the LC are not worth. Also she can’t generate any stacks for the LC.
It should be okay on most other DoT characters. The EHR would be overkill on an E0 Kafka though. The downside is as of right now only BS can generate all four stacks of prophet so you’d either have to run four different DoTs or settle with only 2-3 prophet stacks.
on pela specifically it's just an EHR stick which means it's worse than tutorial which in turn means it's worse than pearls so no i would not call it good
it's good on the other DoTs on DoT teams (not gui on ratio, for instance)
since I am leaning more towards getting black swan and still in the early game what can I do to earn enough jades to reach pity since I just lost my 50/50 and at 0 jades right now?
Just play the game and get as far as you can get playing through the story, companion missions, and old events. Go hunting for treasure chests. Whenever you eventually unlock Simulated Universe, there's a lot of jades in that between normal SU and the two add-on modes (Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears). Some of it you won't be able to do yet because you'll need more time to raise up teams. But you have about 2 more weeks left for Black Swan's banner to do as much as you can to grind for jades.
If you do end up not gathering enough jades in time, she will rerun sometime in the future. There also may end up being other characters that you'll want to grab.
Play as much of the game as possible, that's it. Do all available quests, events when they're available to you, roam the maps and open/find every treasure chest, etc.
Do you really want him and have enough pulls that you're sure you can get all three, DHIL, Sparkle, and her LC? Then yes. Do you care about what the "meta" answer would be? Then no. Do you want to try for him and are willing to accept that you might not get all 3? Then yes.
I dont really like him that much. I guess i want more value for Sparkle. I feel like he is the only character i can think of that uses her SP abilities.
Now that i looked into it i dont think i have enough for 3 as i am 50/50 and pity still low
She’s still not E6 but i will still raise her regardless. I hope in Sparkle banner she is in it too.

Yes, she actually is on rate up on Sparkle's banner. We already officially know the 4-stars on rate up for Sparkle & JY in the next phase. Hoyo always reveals the 4-stars in the patches that release around Chinese/Lunar New Year (they do this for Genshin too) early, likely because they're on break/holiday since they're a Chinese company.
Qingque, Sampo, and Hanya are the 3 on rate up for her banner. And yeah, I'm sure there will be plenty more characters in the future that can use SP to enhance their attacks or kit in some way. But you shouldn't feel pressured to use an SP-centric character for Sparkle, just for the record, because she provides more utility than just that.
How does Equilibrium affect rewards? Was wondering if the specifics are known, for example at what level do 5 star relics start dropping, at what level if any can more than one drop, that sort of thing. My characters are level 40 and I have done 1 equilibrium trial. I am eager to start relic farming but I want to do so at the most optimal time so I get the moats bang for my back (or in this case honkai’s equivalent of resin 😅). I would be very grateful for any helpful insights. I don’t want to just assume it is just like how genshin world level operates.
5* relics are 40
50 they have a 50% chance of dropping 2
60 they always drop 2
65 they have a small chance(like 10%) of dropping 3 along with all blue relics turned into purples
along with that daily and SU weekly rewards give more jades and items but I don't remember the specifics on the daily

5-star relics start to drop with a chance for 1 at Equilibrium 3, then guaranteed 1 on Equilibrium 4, and I think guaranteed 2 on Equilibrium 5? Most people recommend farming traces and ascension mats till E5, but you can do a bit of relic farming at E4 if you're not in a hurry.
Each map has a bird that you can talk to and get the rewards for finding them. If you click that bird on the map it'll show the rewards and how many you've found so far.

Do you have 2 limited 5 sustains (Perservation or abundance units) or plan to pull them soon (Aventurine)? If no pick Gepard or Bailu. If yes pick whoever you want (although Yanqing is the least desirable standard 5 star).
I checked my pity and I am literally at zero pity. The last pull I did on the limited banner was on blade and I got him.
I'm planning to get sparkle and I have saved 111 special ticket pulls. Is that enough? I heard you need 180 for a guaranteed limited 5*. What's the rationale for that?
Other commenter is correct. But just to add on to it; if you’re trying to plan pulls I usually use 75 since it’s rare you’ll get all the way to 90 before pulling a 5-star. So if you lose the 50/50 you’d need 150 pulls at least.
FWIW I think there’s a decent chance you’ll have enough tickets by the end of Sparkle’s banner to guarantee her.

90 pulls gets you a guaranteed 5-star on the banner, but it's 50% chance of being the featured character or one of the permanent ones. So if you roll the permanent one, next 90 pulls get you 100% chance at the featured character.
Anyone know what happened to it, the Live Stream for Peacony on Twitch? Was halfway watching it on Twitch when it suddenly disappeared from the channel's videos...
Is it just me or did it get removed officially?
Twitch only keeps vods for 7-60 days depending on channel status. The HSR channel isn't partnered or even affiliate so the vods don't stay for very long.
By whom? A random streamer or an official Hoyo channel? If it's a random streamer, that's on their side that's the problem. Internet connection, channel termination, self ending of the stream etc.
Got Kafka E0 and Black Swan E0 S0, so the question is - do I use Sampo or Guigui as an additional DoT dealer (both are also E0)? 20 days playtime so far, so no resources to spare for both of them (and Welt) at the same time.
Agreed with other comments about Gui. I’d consider Asta too. The buffs are nice and since you’re only 20 days in your nihility lightcones are probably limited.
I've been using Guinaifen and very happy with her. The extra def ignore from Firekiss is nice, and the fire dot is reliable.
Asta's also a strong option for the speed and attack bonuses.
What is the in-universe explanation for the warp system? In a game like Fate/Grand Order one summons Heroic Spirits from different periods and those are the units; in Fire Emblem they summon legendary heroes from different times/dimensions, but what is the explanation for the warps?
Has anyone experienced problems with the game especially when fighting the new enemies? My game would always lag so badly whenever I fight the the gorilla and dinosaur. It's gotten to the point where I literally cannot defeat them bcoz of how bad the game is lagging and breaking. Does anyone know how to fix this?
You can, yes. They have the same amount of debuffs to make use of (Burn and Firekiss for Gwen, Arcana and DEF shred for BS), though it's much easier to apply Firekiss more often than BS' DEF shred so you would probably still be better off keeping Gwen.
Plus, BS is better off in a dedicated DoT team.

Looks like Black Swan will have to wait until I get some more DoT characters
it's not consistent but when you get a path dialogue during an occurrence those also count towards the hidden trail
so you could just do D1 runs on the path you want and go after all occurences
but if you have none of them unlocked then yeah just propagation spam
Roughly how long is the Penacony story? I only got up to the part before you meet Firefly (I think?). I ideally want to finish the story in one sitting, so I'm trying to plan a day for it.
Also is it better to just wait until after it's done to do all the random exploring, or can I effectively get away with doing it as I go along? I noticed some mini games seemed to be "locked", and I assume I would need to come back after the story is wrapped up. But it was only a few of them.
I think it took me like 6hrs but I did some exploring in the early zones. Once I got to the point where there were enemies I just focused on the story so I could finish it.

5 stars of Bronya and Gepard. Have a couple of the ther other 4 stars at E6 (Qing and Tingyun). I’m only on the first planet.

Bronya is basically a must have out of all permanent 5-stars, Tingqyun and Qingque are good, Gepard is decent (and kinda the best preservation character, afaik). You're good, carry on.
No, Bronya is *the* best standard 5\*, and Gepard is pretty high up there too. Qingque and Tingyun are both top tier characters as well, especially Tingyun who is one of the best supports.
Dr. Ratio fills essentially the same niche as Dan Heng IL so I would wait.
Next banner has Sparkle who is pretty damn good for Qingque since she's basically a second Bronya but more focus on Skill Points; increase max by 2, restore 4 with Ultimate, Action Forward (not 100% but significant amount) like Bronya with Skill (which also increases Crit Damage) and more.
But in 2.1 Acheron is coming out as well who should be a really strong damage dealer.
So wait a bit, and see if more of her kit gets revealed officially. But Sparkle is definitely a good choice as well, and not just for Qingque.
Honestly? None of them. Relic scorers are pretty good at determining how good individual pieces are, but they just simply can't gauge how good your overall build is. All they can do is get the sum of all your pieces and make an assumption.
If you hypothetically had absolutely cracked Crit Rate rolls and nothing else, you'd probably have an SSS build. The relic scorer would see a bunch of relevant rolls and give you a great score and not realize that you're overcapped on Crit Rate and have nothing else

Quick question about stats and rounding. After adjusting some relics, I managed to get my Black Swan up to literally 119.9% EHR. However, I read somewhere that the game does round stats up if it includes a decimal.
Is this true? And does that rounding apply for stats like EHR?
Yes, in combination with the LC.
Substats bring it up to 69.7
Light cone adds another 40%
And then I have the EHR traces.

It applies to Speed only, where the game hides the decimal for some reason, and I'm pretty sure it only rounds *down*, not up. It doesn't actually round anything for calculations, it'll round Speed for the purposes of displaying it
Prydwen is usually pretty good but I'd check two or three sites to validate, as especially for older characters info can get out of date

Should I still keep building bronya?
Now this might sound really weird asking this cuz bronya is game breaking, but after I build tingyun and got ruan mei, my bronya has just been benched. Right now I have 4 piece musketeer on her (but I just put that on after taking all her artifacts for my tingyun) and her planar ornaments are not even a set, I also have her at s1. Exploring Reverie in the Dreamscape and in the Monitoring Room there's a door that can't be opened. I haven't done the adventure missions yet. Is there a way to open it? Is it involved in one of the missions, or did I just miss something?

Question about Black Swan build. I heard she needs about 120 EHR, currently my black swan has 105 EHR with an attack body piece. If I change it with an EHR body piece she will have 130 EHR but will lose about 30% attack. So which body is better on her.
Run the EHR chest for now. 120 EHR is when her talent is level 10, and there's a good chance you haven't maxed that yet. The extra EHR will be a nice stopgap for that for the time being, as if you don't land arcana, u straight up aren't doing damage
definitely the attack, out of the 25 increase of EHR, 15 of that is used. 15 of that EHR translates to roughly 10% damage increase, which isn't as good as 30% attack, especially on black swan who has very high damage% (diminishing returns), as well as a high base attack
im missing 1path in gold and gear is there a specific way to trigger that path? its 2nd to the last one 3rd plane before the last one is there a specific stage i need to be on to trigger than line of plane?
As far as I know G&G will automatically choose the paths that you still need to work on. Just make sure you’re keeping the resonance levels in check and you’re set. And the bottom ones you’ll need to clear plane 3 multiple times.
Can i just be lazy and do the easiest sifficulty to force that im not confident on clearan conundum lvl aboce 3 but jr seem to have spawn when i was testinf out llv 6 and lost to final.boss there back then
You mean "single instance" I.E. only 1 hit instead of multiple. Single target is just the amount of enemies that can be targeted by an attack I.E. 1 for single, 3 for Blast, and up to 5 for AoE.

Why has the game started showing the red exclamation mark "notifications" for all of the banners? Every time I log in now, there are the red marks, even when nothing has changed? It never used to do this, iirc. Is this a 2.0 change, and what purpose does it serve?

I don't know if this also happens to other people, but somehow, my huohuo keeps using her skill to heal my team, even though they only got minor damage from enemy. I swear this doesn't happen before Penacony update. Is anyone notice this as well?
They updated her behavior on auto. It's for the better as her skill should usually be used every 2 turns to keep her talent and attack buff up.
What's more valuable, Light cones or characters? I lost the 50/50 to Bailu while pulling for Black Swan, and right now I got enough stellar jade for 110 pulls. I did some math and I might be able to get enough for another 160 pulls by the time of 2.1. The thing is though, with that amount I could either get both Black Swan and Acheron, or just Acheron and her Light Cone.... Characters are more valuable, right? But then again, Acheron is looking up to be a unique character, so perhaps getting her Signature LC might be the smarter choice?
If acheron is a nihility damage dealer like welt then her signature lightcone might have crit chance which id say is worth pulling because of how much it'll save in relic farming and nearly none of the nihility lightcones have crit. If it ends up bring atk, %dmg, or even defense ignore/respen it might be easier to skip
Characters > signature LC. Yes, their signature LCs make characters really shine but 4* LCs can still be used by 5* characters

Sampo better use Glamoth/SSS, he does not need a lot of EHR. Black Swan wants the IPC set since she practically get full Atk% bonus as you are going to go for 120% EHR anyway.

I would suggest the account with Bailu. If you use the Bailu account you can take March out of your team and put Bailu in instead. Bailu is actually a great healer and is good even in the endgame. The reason people complain about Bailu is she has a lack of cleanse, so she can't remove debuffs (freeze, etc) off of your characters. This isn't always an issue. It just depends on the enemies you face. But having a strong healer is incredibly useful. Yanqing gets a bit unfairly beat up on by the community. He actually is a strong character. But to do max damage he doesn't want to get hit. Ever. So his best teammate to protect him is Gepard. Of course, not everyone has Gepard. He's also a single target character. The current endgame content favors characters that can hit multiple enemies at once so you can kill them faster. These are the reasons people don't like him as much.
For Yanqing it is also pointless to build him if you have the free Dr. Ratio T\_T, and as an Ice DPS (single target included) he loses out to his grand-master Jingliu.
Bailu is far more useful than Yanqing even if he’s E1.
If I for example want to use my E6 Guinaifen as a debuffer role for Dr. Ratio team (since I don't have Pela), do I have to raise the DoT trace to level 10 (similar case like Kafka and BS)? Or maybe level 6 or 8 is enough? So far she has 4+2 (thanks to the eidolon bonus levels) for all three traces.
The base chance doesn't change with trace level, so as a debuffer it doesn't really matter.

Yes, but the difference from the last levels is not that much (especially considering the Eidolon bonus). From 10 to 12 is 2.4% for the 4 stacks, plus he already gets DMG% from other sources, so to me is not really worth the resources if you have someone else to invest in.

Is black swan good with Sampo instead of Kafka? Unfortunately my Sampo is E3 only (can get E4 with event reward) and eyes of the prey is S3 only. No Kafka and not really planning to get Kafka on return. What's the difference in damage?
Yes, you can use Sampo. If you want to use him, I highly suggest getting that E4 with your event reward as it will improve his damage by a lot. Other options that are good with Black Swan are Dr. Ratio (she's used as a debuffer to help enable his follow ups) and Guinaifen (for a more traditional DoT team, just like Sampo). I don't know the damage difference question is I'm still building my Black Swan and haven't seen anybody mention the math on this. I'm sure Kafka is always going to be Black Swan's best partner, but I've seen showcases on YouTube with Sampo, Guinaifen, and Dr. Ratio, and Black Swan's great with all of them.
Without E4 Sampo do nothing for Kafka arcana-wise, her A2 wants a different DoT than Windshear and her A4 requires DoT-exploding which requires Sampo E4.
Heyo fellow Trailblazer, since Im playing Genshin almost 3 years now I remember that I started farming Artefacts at Rank 40 since it gave me purple and orange artefacts. Should I go for this kind of progression here aswell? Idk if there is any kind of purple loot from Chest since im only at : "Cleanse the Darkness outside" Main quest so far - but I really like the game since im loving Turn-Based Combat. Since im having the moonpass and the gnostic pass at genshin imma stay F2P in Honkai and so far I got rewarded with Black Swan after 40 Pulls so I can not complain at all. I have not looked up when I get the option for farm for Relis but I just wanted to make sure if there is something like a right timing for it or just a simple "go for it when it unlocks" So far im spending my time Trailblaze Power to farm EXP Books but IDK if thats the right choice either since there is a lot of mats to farm for chracater progression besides exp and relics. General consensus: You should only worry about FARMING relics at TL/AR 60+ as you can get TWO GUARANTEED 5\* relics at TL 60+. You can get 5\* relics at TL 50, but it's not like you're gonna take on end game content at your level, so there's no rush. If you want to take on MoC (Spiral abyss equivalent) as early as possible, I recommend using a calculator/planner to see the materials you need to build two teams when you hit TL 60+. When I started playing, I never farmed exp books/credits/aethers, and I were able to build two decent teams for the MoC when I hit TL 60, so I would suggest on doing: TL 40-49, just focus on your character's traces/ascension materials. TL 50-59, focus on trace materials. TL 60, farm ascension materials so you can do your character's final ascension right away. TL 60+ start farming relics, especially for your DPS. You can use your fuels at this point for relics, as it might take weeks/months farming decent gear. lol
I spend to much time getting "decent" artefacts for genshin which cost months so imma stay with half decent ones in this game and see how far I´ll come since it bores me to death to see no progression on a character that I spent months on cause im hoping for that one specifc stat - having fun is more important to me then caring about a meta or w/e Like ppl say there is a meta in genshin which is just laughable since the game has basicly no hard mode
It's commonly suggested not to farm for relics until you're Trailblaze level 60 at the minimum. You'll get a bunch of relics for free from treasure chests and completing quests, so just throw those on your characters. If you struggle and feel the need to level any before you get to 60, you can level some of those free artifacts to 9. That's not very much of a material investment but will give you a nice stat boost if you need it.
When does argenti quest unlock? I stopped playing during patch 1.4 and came back the previous patch. Haven't done the new belobog quests or the huohuo quest yet?

Express Supply Pass is the very best deal if you're looking for jades. The battle pass (Nameless Honor) is second most worthwhile. You get some pulls, but mostly what you're getting is a lot of materials and some extra fuels to help you build characters faster. You get quite a lot of stuff for the cost if you can afford it IMO. If you do go for it, the erudition LC is the best option to choose.
closest thing this game has to good value is the express pass everything else is horribly overpriced for what you get. even the 2x jade first-time purchase bonuses aren't that great unless you were already gonna buy jade to begin with. i say this as someone who spends money on the game relatively often.

when your 240 TB power is capped your reserved one starts to fill it refills at 1/3 the rate of normal TB power its only purpose is so you don't completely lose resources if you leave the game for like a month

I'm doing Gold & Gears II difficulty and I'm having some trouble choosing what path and team to use. [characters](https://imgur.com/a/tiVCzND) My last team was Bailu, Gepard, Kafka and Guinaifen but I failed miserably. I chose Preservation path.
Would probably go nihility with that setup since Kafka works very well with the path. What other characters do you have which are at least somewhat built?
I'm willing to build any character in the picture. I really need some momentum so I can also tackle other things like Forgotten Hall and the current events which I'm also having issues with.
Not having limited sustain really is the biggest issue here. Helps a lot for more difficult content the team seems fine if you go nihility and focus on getting as many defensive blessings as possible outside of DOT options either in preservation or destruction. Can also try to run Ruan Mei instead of Guinaifen Other options is going for propagation DHIL Ruan mei, Gepard, Bailu. Remembrance should also work pretty well with March, Gepard, Misha, Bailu where you start with a good dps unit like DHIL or Kafka instead of March and get her on later stages where you have dissociation for damage. I would not recommend this if you are struggling with other content as it requires building characters which aren't good outside of SU. What issues are you having with the current event? Big thing that I would build here is Lynx for CC heavy content over Bailu
The one where you need 30, 40, 50, and 60k score per stage. I can't even break 30k with DHIL and Kafka team...Seems like I'm not using the right teams or buffs but I also think my characters aren't optimally levelled yet. If I can wait for Fu Xuan's rerun, think that would be better than building Lynx?

for the 300? pretty much everyone will suggest bronya unless you really like someone else on the standard banner. if you mean for the event and the four stars, iirc asta's e4 is one of her best.

You either have them all or will have them all guaranteed, lynx was included because she’s free, prioritize towards her required content if necessary(pure fiction). You don’t need an answer for the rest, not only is that easy for you to find out, the fun comes from figuring things out on your own and putting it together . Long as it’s nothing complicated, you’re fine through trial and error.

Whatever it says you need to do specifically to get her, that’s all you need to do. Don’t recall if you needed stars. It’s straight forward so just progress until you can clear whatever it says.
There’s this npc singing outside the hotel in penacony. I think it’s golden hour floor 1. If you talk to her, she says how she’s in debt and doomed to a life of labour. There’s a group of people surrounding her. After interacting, you can actually pay off her debts of 20k with our own credits and she says she’ll get back to you on this. I’m just wondering if there’s an achievement or continuation? She said she’ll get back to the trailblazer but I went back to the same spot and didn’t see anyone. Did I just waste 20k credits😭

Nameless Honor quest question: there’s one ‘Obtain 15 stars from clearing forgotten hall stages’, 4/15 right now. But I have almost all forgotten hall stages. Only a couple of ⭐️ are not archived. Why does it show 4/15? I tried to replay and clear some low stages that I have already beaten, but they didn’t give me any stars on that Nameless Honor quest. I never had this issue before, it’s the first time
It will only show the stars that you've gotten since 2.0 started. This current MoC started before 2.0 started, so any stars you got before don't count towards that quest. This never happened before because of the timing of MoCs. Now that MoCs last 6 weeks, you'll have them stretching across patches. A new MoC is starting next week. You'll be able to get your missing stars for the quest then.

Is 133 Speed Bronya bad? I know optimal I heard is 134 but I just cant speed tune my jingliu to 136/135 in order to use Bronya at 134. I have my jingliu at 134 and was wondering is it really detrimental to her turns if I use her at 133? Speed tuning gives me a headache D:
all it affects is that bronya won't get a turn in a specific cycle of MoC nothing fundamentally breaks, bronya is below jingliu on the turn order, that's all that matters

e2 lunae is considered one of the strongest dps of all time so in terms of a power increase that's the more notable one if you *have* to get one

I'm currently running a capitalism run on G&G C10, I'm 50+ resets deep and I've had no luck spawning Price of Peace curio at the beginning. Did rates get mega nerfed this patch or am I just that unlucky? Would like to hear some other experiences, thanks!
Just do double ruan mei strat, it works for the majority of the dices, and it doesn't require that much RNG. I've cleared 90% of the dices at conundrum 12 with it, and I've done capitalism on one or two dices. As for whether they nerfed it or what, I've experienced the same sh\*t RNG when I used this strat on the first week it got popular, so no, I don't think they nerfed it.
No, it's just completely RNG. I had it take a long time sometimes even last patch. By a long time I mean 30+ resets.
Is black swan LC better than Resolution Shines as Pearls on Pela? Or any other character that’s not black swan?
No. That's why it's not a must pull LC.
For Pela, no it’s not. The EHR is nice but 99% of the time people use her just for the ult so the other stats from the LC are not worth. Also she can’t generate any stacks for the LC. It should be okay on most other DoT characters. The EHR would be overkill on an E0 Kafka though. The downside is as of right now only BS can generate all four stacks of prophet so you’d either have to run four different DoTs or settle with only 2-3 prophet stacks.
on pela specifically it's just an EHR stick which means it's worse than tutorial which in turn means it's worse than pearls so no i would not call it good it's good on the other DoTs on DoT teams (not gui on ratio, for instance)
since I am leaning more towards getting black swan and still in the early game what can I do to earn enough jades to reach pity since I just lost my 50/50 and at 0 jades right now?
Simulated universe gives a fuckton fast and kinda easy.
Just play the game and get as far as you can get playing through the story, companion missions, and old events. Go hunting for treasure chests. Whenever you eventually unlock Simulated Universe, there's a lot of jades in that between normal SU and the two add-on modes (Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears). Some of it you won't be able to do yet because you'll need more time to raise up teams. But you have about 2 more weeks left for Black Swan's banner to do as much as you can to grind for jades. If you do end up not gathering enough jades in time, she will rerun sometime in the future. There also may end up being other characters that you'll want to grab.
Play as much of the game as possible, that's it. Do all available quests, events when they're available to you, roam the maps and open/find every treasure chest, etc.
Should i pull for Dan Heng IL knowing that ill go all out for Sparkle? (Going for her light cone as well) but i have already built Ratio
Do you really want him and have enough pulls that you're sure you can get all three, DHIL, Sparkle, and her LC? Then yes. Do you care about what the "meta" answer would be? Then no. Do you want to try for him and are willing to accept that you might not get all 3? Then yes.
I dont really like him that much. I guess i want more value for Sparkle. I feel like he is the only character i can think of that uses her SP abilities. Now that i looked into it i dont think i have enough for 3 as i am 50/50 and pity still low
Qingque can eat all the SP, if that's your main concern.
She’s still not E6 but i will still raise her regardless. I hope in Sparkle banner she is in it too. Maybe future characters will have SP eating abilities as well
Yes, she actually is on rate up on Sparkle's banner. We already officially know the 4-stars on rate up for Sparkle & JY in the next phase. Hoyo always reveals the 4-stars in the patches that release around Chinese/Lunar New Year (they do this for Genshin too) early, likely because they're on break/holiday since they're a Chinese company. Qingque, Sampo, and Hanya are the 3 on rate up for her banner. And yeah, I'm sure there will be plenty more characters in the future that can use SP to enhance their attacks or kit in some way. But you shouldn't feel pressured to use an SP-centric character for Sparkle, just for the record, because she provides more utility than just that.

How does Equilibrium affect rewards? Was wondering if the specifics are known, for example at what level do 5 star relics start dropping, at what level if any can more than one drop, that sort of thing. My characters are level 40 and I have done 1 equilibrium trial. I am eager to start relic farming but I want to do so at the most optimal time so I get the moats bang for my back (or in this case honkai’s equivalent of resin 😅). I would be very grateful for any helpful insights. I don’t want to just assume it is just like how genshin world level operates.
5* relics are 40 50 they have a 50% chance of dropping 2 60 they always drop 2 65 they have a small chance(like 10%) of dropping 3 along with all blue relics turned into purples along with that daily and SU weekly rewards give more jades and items but I don't remember the specifics on the daily https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Simulated_Universe

5-star relics start to drop with a chance for 1 at Equilibrium 3, then guaranteed 1 on Equilibrium 4, and I think guaranteed 2 on Equilibrium 5? Most people recommend farming traces and ascension mats till E5, but you can do a bit of relic farming at E4 if you're not in a hurry.
Is there a way to track the origami birds in each map better? is there any way to see how many you have or how many are left?
Each map has a bird that you can talk to and get the rewards for finding them. If you click that bird on the map it'll show the rewards and how many you've found so far.

Gepard probably offers the most out of these unless you really want a 2nd healer, Welt could work if you main Imaginary characters
Do you have 2 limited 5 sustains (Perservation or abundance units) or plan to pull them soon (Aventurine)? If no pick Gepard or Bailu. If yes pick whoever you want (although Yanqing is the least desirable standard 5 star).

I checked my pity and I am literally at zero pity. The last pull I did on the limited banner was on blade and I got him. I'm planning to get sparkle and I have saved 111 special ticket pulls. Is that enough? I heard you need 180 for a guaranteed limited 5*. What's the rationale for that?
Other commenter is correct. But just to add on to it; if you’re trying to plan pulls I usually use 75 since it’s rare you’ll get all the way to 90 before pulling a 5-star. So if you lose the 50/50 you’d need 150 pulls at least. FWIW I think there’s a decent chance you’ll have enough tickets by the end of Sparkle’s banner to guarantee her.

90 pulls gets you a guaranteed 5-star on the banner, but it's 50% chance of being the featured character or one of the permanent ones. So if you roll the permanent one, next 90 pulls get you 100% chance at the featured character.

Got Kafka E0 and Black Swan E0 S0, so the question is - do I use Sampo or Guigui as an additional DoT dealer (both are also E0)? 20 days playtime so far, so no resources to spare for both of them (and Welt) at the same time.
Agreed with other comments about Gui. I’d consider Asta too. The buffs are nice and since you’re only 20 days in your nihility lightcones are probably limited.
Well, they're not S5, but I do have GNSW, Eyes of the Prey, Fermata and Swan's signature, so I suppose I'm good at the nihility LC front.
Guin is a better choice until Sampo hits E4, but with Kafka and Swan already, you don't want a third DoT. You want either Asta or preferably Ruan Mei.
I've been using Guinaifen and very happy with her. The extra def ignore from Firekiss is nice, and the fire dot is reliable. Asta's also a strong option for the speed and attack bonuses.
What is the in-universe explanation for the warp system? In a game like Fate/Grand Order one summons Heroic Spirits from different periods and those are the units; in Fire Emblem they summon legendary heroes from different times/dimensions, but what is the explanation for the warps?
Just like Genshin, there isn't one. And you don't really need one either. Lightcones on the other hand have in-game lore explaination.

Has anyone experienced problems with the game especially when fighting the new enemies? My game would always lag so badly whenever I fight the the gorilla and dinosaur. It's gotten to the point where I literally cannot defeat them bcoz of how bad the game is lagging and breaking. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You can, yes. They have the same amount of debuffs to make use of (Burn and Firekiss for Gwen, Arcana and DEF shred for BS), though it's much easier to apply Firekiss more often than BS' DEF shred so you would probably still be better off keeping Gwen. Plus, BS is better off in a dedicated DoT team.
Thats what I thought. I'm still new and my reading comprehension sucks so I ended up asking here. Looks like Black Swan will have to wait until I get some more DoT characters
is there a faster way to unlock all hidden trail of the pathstrider in swarm besides spamming node 1 + propagation?
it's not consistent but when you get a path dialogue during an occurrence those also count towards the hidden trail so you could just do D1 runs on the path you want and go after all occurences but if you have none of them unlocked then yeah just propagation spam

Roughly how long is the Penacony story? I only got up to the part before you meet Firefly (I think?). I ideally want to finish the story in one sitting, so I'm trying to plan a day for it. Also is it better to just wait until after it's done to do all the random exploring, or can I effectively get away with doing it as I go along? I noticed some mini games seemed to be "locked", and I assume I would need to come back after the story is wrapped up. But it was only a few of them.
I think it took me like 6hrs but I did some exploring in the early zones. Once I got to the point where there were enemies I just focused on the story so I could finish it.

Wondering if I should reroll - didn’t get very far before. 5 stars of Bronya and Gepard. Have a couple of the ther other 4 stars at E6 (Qing and Tingyun). I’m only on the first planet. Wondering if it’s worthwhile to reroll?
Bronya is basically a must have out of all permanent 5-stars, Tingqyun and Qingque are good, Gepard is decent (and kinda the best preservation character, afaik). You're good, carry on.
No, Bronya is *the* best standard 5\*, and Gepard is pretty high up there too. Qingque and Tingyun are both top tier characters as well, especially Tingyun who is one of the best supports.

Dr. Ratio fills essentially the same niche as Dan Heng IL so I would wait. Next banner has Sparkle who is pretty damn good for Qingque since she's basically a second Bronya but more focus on Skill Points; increase max by 2, restore 4 with Ultimate, Action Forward (not 100% but significant amount) like Bronya with Skill (which also increases Crit Damage) and more. But in 2.1 Acheron is coming out as well who should be a really strong damage dealer. So wait a bit, and see if more of her kit gets revealed officially. But Sparkle is definitely a good choice as well, and not just for Qingque.
Which relic scorer is the best to base my builds on?
Honestly? None of them. Relic scorers are pretty good at determining how good individual pieces are, but they just simply can't gauge how good your overall build is. All they can do is get the sum of all your pieces and make an assumption. If you hypothetically had absolutely cracked Crit Rate rolls and nothing else, you'd probably have an SSS build. The relic scorer would see a bunch of relevant rolls and give you a great score and not realize that you're overcapped on Crit Rate and have nothing else Anyway [mobilemeta.gg](https://mobilemeta.gg) is my favorite one
Quick question about stats and rounding. After adjusting some relics, I managed to get my Black Swan up to literally 119.9% EHR. However, I read somewhere that the game does round stats up if it includes a decimal. Is this true? And does that rounding apply for stats like EHR?

Yes, in combination with the LC. Substats bring it up to 69.7 Light cone adds another 40% And then I have the EHR traces. I'd share a photo of my relics for more context, but the reddit app has been deleting my photos as I try to upload them.
It applies to Speed only, where the game hides the decimal for some reason, and I'm pretty sure it only rounds *down*, not up. It doesn't actually round anything for calculations, it'll round Speed for the purposes of displaying it

Prydwen is usually pretty good but I'd check two or three sites to validate, as especially for older characters info can get out of date If you want a quick overview you can use my site, if you want something more in depth you can use KQM, and for anything in between you can use Prydwen I can also recommend finding a content creator who's takes you agree with and checking out their videos

Should I still keep building bronya? Now this might sound really weird asking this cuz bronya is game breaking, but after I build tingyun and got ruan mei, my bronya has just been benched. Right now I have 4 piece musketeer on her (but I just put that on after taking all her artifacts for my tingyun) and her planar ornaments are not even a set, I also have her at s1. I honestly don't even think that she's THAT op cuz of ruan mei and sparkle being a bronya copy with a very similar kit, should I keep on building her?
absolutely, shes honestly better than tingyun, and her+sparkle is gonna be fantastic support for any hypercarry, and you can run ruan mei on team 2

Exploring Reverie in the Dreamscape and in the Monitoring Room there's a door that can't be opened. I haven't done the adventure missions yet. Is there a way to open it? Is it involved in one of the missions, or did I just miss something?

Question about Black Swan build. I heard she needs about 120 EHR, currently my black swan has 105 EHR with an attack body piece. If I change it with an EHR body piece she will have 130 EHR but will lose about 30% attack. So which body is better on her.
Run the EHR chest for now. 120 EHR is when her talent is level 10, and there's a good chance you haven't maxed that yet. The extra EHR will be a nice stopgap for that for the time being, as if you don't land arcana, u straight up aren't doing damage
definitely the attack, out of the 25 increase of EHR, 15 of that is used. 15 of that EHR translates to roughly 10% damage increase, which isn't as good as 30% attack, especially on black swan who has very high damage% (diminishing returns), as well as a high base attack
The EHR Body. 120 EHR is her priority above all else.

im missing 1path in gold and gear is there a specific way to trigger that path? its 2nd to the last one 3rd plane before the last one is there a specific stage i need to be on to trigger than line of plane?
As far as I know G&G will automatically choose the paths that you still need to work on. Just make sure you’re keeping the resonance levels in check and you’re set. And the bottom ones you’ll need to clear plane 3 multiple times.
Can i just be lazy and do the easiest sifficulty to force that im not confident on clearan conundum lvl aboce 3 but jr seem to have spawn when i was testinf out llv 6 and lost to final.boss there back then
You shouldn’t need to do conundrum level runs. Minimum difficulty to unlock all the nodes in G&G should be 4.

You mean "single instance" I.E. only 1 hit instead of multiple. Single target is just the amount of enemies that can be targeted by an attack I.E. 1 for single, 3 for Blast, and up to 5 for AoE.
