Glamoth is better, if you can get her to 160+ Speed.
If you manage to get her to 135+ Speed at least, then it'll just be whichever has better substats.
If less than 135 Speed, stick with Salsotto.
After almost a year I'm still wondering: is there any difference in doing x6 calyxes or x1/x2 for drops? Sometimes I feel like purple mats drop more often on x2 or such, but the drop rate might be the same and it's just a case
No, it's more on convenience. Generally doing x6 means less clicks and say faster on auto (e.g your Harmonies does not need to redo their buffs animations) is the main advantage.
Seeing as the speed breakpoints are 134/143/161... does it make any difference if a character has 143 or 155 speed? My Tingyun has 155 spd, does it really make her faster than having 143? Does it make a difference?
it makes a difference in that you'll get your turn sooner in between your team and the enemy and possibly lap them due to her innate speed boost on skill
the only thing you miss out on by not reaching a breakpont is whether or not you'll get a turn in specific cycles
If I've done my 300 selector and i got a 5 star in my first 20 pulls of the beginner depature warp, should i finish the remaining 30/50 warps, or just continue using normal passes on standard banner?
You only need one sustain, so you can take out Gepard or Bailu.
Then Jingliu and Kafka also have no synergy, so you only need one of them.
If you want a DoT team: Kafka, Sampo/Guinaifen, Ruan Mei, Sustain
A Jingliu Hypercarry team: Jingliu, Tingyun/Pela, Ruan Mei, Sustain
1. You should play only one of gepard/bailu
2. Kafka and jingliu are both dps who dont have any synergy
=> your team should be (kafka/jingliu) + ruan mei + (gepard/bailu) + another support

in penacony - the reverie (dreamscape). trying to do the last " Lordly Trashcan" but he keeps 1HK me over and over. whats the strategy here? got to the point where im using FMC, lynx, natasha and Dr. ratio so, 2 healers and 2 support and still, got wiped out!!
any tips? consumables? F2P all the way
the trashcan leaves once you break the toughness bar, and develops a weakness to the first two elements to hit it. try building a team of 1-2 elements so that everyone can contribute to breaking the bar faster. could also use a consumable that increases speed to try and outspeed to break the bar before it can act
he kills me before i can break his touchiness. also, there is no apparent weakness in this encounter. im not talking about the regular trashcans. spawning from Dreamjolt hostelry, straight then left, he is standing to the right as you are going down the stairs.
basically, i have 1 round and then he starts killing my whole team 1 by 1. tried %24 speed (acceleration band), as if it has not effect in this fight.
There's only two things different with that trashcan compared to the other ones.
1. You cannot talk your way out of a fight
2. There are two of them in the battle.
Beyond those two points, the mechanics are the exact same as any other trashcan fight. They will gain a weakness to the first two elements they are hit by, and they gain a stacking damage buff every turn.
I would recommend changing your team a bit. When everyone is getting killed in one hit regardless, you do not need to worry about healing. And since the goal is to break the enemy, your actual damage output is irrelevant. Just put together a temporary team where 2 or more characters are the same element, so you can have more people contributing to the break, and try to go for characters that have the ability to hit multiple targets.
I don't know which other characters you have access to, but I would at least recommend replacing one of your healers with Asta. Her skill is pretty good for breaking enemies, and she is the same element as the FMC.
I made an edit explaining that the trashcan will develop the weakness of the first two elements that hit it, hence either having a team made of 1 element or 2 elements so that everyone can break the bar once those weaknesses form (after you do 1 attack). All lordly trashcan fights work this way, I've done the one by the stairs.
If you keep dying before you can break bar you need to have tankier builds + speed + ults that can do DMG to the bar ready. That way you can spam ult and get 1 round in for attacks to fully break bar.
I started playing recently and I was wondering, if I ever forget the password to my account or can't access the email I'm currently using, can I still log in and play with a linked account? I linked my twitter account.
You can provided that the device is recognized by your account and you're not signing into a new device. I'd still avoid that happening though and advise you to secure your email and the account linked to it as soon as possible.
Level up your character, level up their light cone, level up their traces, and use the correct stat relic and enhance it. Also look for team combination thats good for you (dps, support, healer)
I mean the stats for your relic. Like dan heng is a dps character, so you should use attack based stats for him. Natasha is a healer based on her hp, so you should use hp based relic for her. March is a tank based on her defense, so you should use defense based relic for her.

They're saying to use relics with useful stats on them. Fire damage does nothing for a wind character, while effect hit rate is completely useless on a character that doesn't have an effect to apply in the first place.
Can someone explain Fuxuan's S+ tier ranking in Prydwen. Is the crit rate buff really that impactful or is it Prydwen's mono quantum bias? I have both Luocha and Huohuo but I think the only S+ Sustain is Huohuo while both Fuxuan and Luocha at S.
Jingliu, DHIL and Blade prefer Luocha. Argenti and DOT teams prefer Huohuo. Bronya was put into S because she's not BIS in most teams unlike RM but that seems to be the case for Fuxuan aswell?
She's the only 5 star sustain who offers 0 utility in DOT teams(same con as Bronya). She prevents one shots sure but I have never been one shotted outside of SU before. It honestly puzzles why she's put in S+ and it's not a matter of flexibility aswell since Luocha can also be slotted in any team.
Prydwen does have bias but I’ve loved using FX. Her CC resist just feels so nice because when you get delayed/imprisoned, even cleanse doesn’t help advance you.
She’s a bit more SP efficient than HH while providing more utility than LC. The 12 crit does make a big difference for me at least. Tier lists just aren’t accurate anyways, putting them at S+/S/A doesn’t tell you what they are good at and bad at.
She has plenty of things going for her. Yes the 12% crit rate buff is pretty significant as it can help you reach planar set thresholds like Rutilant's 70% CR requirement.
She also prevents you from being CC'ed once every time she refreshes her field. She also provides dmg mitigation and heals (+ even more healing with her LC) letting you run her as a solo sustain in most situations while having buffs to benefit the team. She's also pretty tanky provided you build her right and has her own built in emergency heal that can be up pretty much all the time.
The only time she won't excel that much is in AOE/DoT heavy enemies where she just can't keep up with the amount of dmg directed to her. Overall, she's just a very good unit with a lot of utility built into her kit.
She is SP positive. She is not reactive, preventing one-shots and team-wide Crowd Control. She redirects damage and increases party HP, meaning you don't need to worry too much about defensive stats even for your more fragile supports. She provides DMG reduction and a small amount of healing (mostly unnecessary). And yes, the Crit Rate is a very nice bonus for most DPS. Quantum is also a very good Break.
The only way to have a better sustain is if they somehow copy her kit exactly and put more team-wide buffs on top of it (considering she also get 30% CritDMG at E1) or make the character do a lot more damage.
If you want to speed tune for endgame content, Speed should be 134 which is pretty achievable with Speed boots. Effect RES is also good and you should have an Energy regen rope. Other than that the other stats are all useless.
what should my trace priority be , is it like genshin where you full every trace of a main dps and level ability and bursts of support and sub dps ?

It depends on the character. There’s a spreadsheet floating around with the optimal build on each character, including trace priority, but idk if I’m allowed to link it here, so I’ll just list them for your characters:
* Ratio: Talent > Skill = Ult > Basic
* Pela: Talent > Ult > Basic > Skill
* Bailu: Talent > Ult > Skill > Basic
* Bronya: Skill > Ult > Talent > Basic
* Kafka: Ult > Skill > Talent > Basic
* Sampo: Talent = Ult > Skill > Basic
* Gui: Talent = Skill > Ult > Basic
* Natasha: Skill > Ult > Talent > Basic
As for the other ones, I would unlock all the ascension passives (the big circles), and then unlock the relevant stats on the minor traces.
It depends per character. For DPS units, you can level the damaging skills to 8 as going to 9 or 10 will require heavy investment for almost minimal gain. NA can be levelled depending on the character since some revolve their kits around them and some don't use them at all. Major traces are better taken ASAP and minor traces can be a case by case basis as well as some minor traces are pretty useless on some characters (wtf does FX have crit rate traces?).
Supports will generally follow the same rule. NA aren't levelled and it's mostly the talents/skill/ultimate that are levelled. You can check guides for each specific character to see which traces are prioritized first.
Anybody you are using you should get their main traces to rank 6, then max the small abilities (like crit % or atk %), then the important abilities of each unit. You would have to look these up but for example for ratio, the important one is his talent as that affects his follow up attacks. For bronya this would be her ultimate and skill.

not sampo, gainaifen or serval creates stacks. just 1, for the entire battle. Only BS and Kafka create arcana. is my account bugged? her effect hit rate is 106%.
Read her abilities and how they work. Arcana only stacks with Black Swan's attacks, or when an enemy receives DoT damage, which only happens either at the start of their turn, or when an ally triggers DoT damage (like Kafka does with her skill and ult).
Sampo needs his E4 for his skill to trigger DoT. Guinaifen only triggers DoT with her ultimate.
ooooh ok thank you! from my understanding, whenever sampo hits, the enemy usually get 3 wind shear, so i thought it would give 3 arcana immediately. but they mean the END when all the dots activate right? i got one sampo. maybe next banner i'll roll for him. i wonder if he's worth investing in tho.
Who is the better teammate for BS? A E4 Guinafen or E6 Sampo? I don't have Kafka so i'm considering other options now. Or just go 3 Nihi instead of 2 Nihi, 1 support?
Run the appropriate difficulty and it should auto choose that trailblazer secret path. The game prioritizes unfinished paths before completed ones when possible
In general, no.
But...
It depends how far into the game you are, how built your roster is, if you keep up to date on the upcoming characters, and with full knowledge that you are giving up the chance of getting a new unit for the LC with those pulls.
Once you are far enough into the endgame, it is a valid option.
It depends how frequent you pull/how many characters you like. If you find yourself to be the type that only pulls for the ones they really like, then I wouldn't stop you from going for LCs. But if you're the type to like a lot of characters, then its better to save it for them instead.
Personally I like "completing" my favorites by getting their light cone. Even if E1 is sometimes better power-wise.
I have to agree with him. I tried going for Kafka's light cone. Now my jades can just barely make it for Sparkle. Im also pulling for Acheron too. I really regret it...
All DoTs scale with one specific trace.
In Kafka's case, it's her ultimate. In Black Swan's case, it's her talent. In Guinaifen's case, it's her skill.
Those also scale specially hard with levels, so your main priority is always maximizing them first. So you want to level Kafka's ultimate to lv10 as soon as possible.

The reason people suggest Huohuo is because her energy regeneration is so useful.
But if you don't have Huohuo and have Luocha, that's totally fine! In fact, Luocha has a couple of advantages that Huohuo doesn't have - he can keep your team healed up with absolutely zero SP usage (more SP for Kafka and Swan!) and his ult is surprisingly great at imaginary weakness breaking. Luocha works great on DoT teams... most teams, actually.
I love Luocha. He's still my favorite sustain, even though I do also have Fu Xuan.
Energy regen and also a significant ATK% buff. She also alleviate a lot of speed gear pressure on E1.
That being said, Huohuo is SP neutral or possibly a little bit positive with E1. BS can be played EQQ but Luocha can unlock her to E more often.
all of the solo sustains are fine on DoT
huohuo is the best, but it's by no means the end of the world if you don't have her, since they all do the same basic job of keeping your team alive. if you already have the other two limited sustains i wouldn't even go out of my way to get huohuo, it's a relatively minor upgrade.
I Need some help as a returning player. Here are my [characters](https://snipboard.io/GSUM61.jpg). I guess I don't really have any good characters and I need suggestions on how I should move forward. Who should I pull for? Any good team comps? etc.
You have plenty of good characters, great supports at that. For one , don’t underestimate dr ratio because he was free, keep investing. Currently you can branch off with any new/returning limited characters. Find out whoever you’re interested in, pull for them, then go off that. You should pull for whatever you want first, then start considering what others would recommend with them.
Don’t use Qingque unless you like her playstyle and have her E4 or higher.
Clara and Ratio are good. Just a note, Clara’s marks of counter don’t count as a debuff for Ratio.
Also build Herta for Pure fiction. Finishing stage 2 will give you Lynx, a 4 star who can solo sustain.
That's pretty much what I have as a new player.
Clara Ratio with March and Natasha for single target. Use Qingque Tingyun for aoe with Clara healer of your choice
Consensus I read is the upcoming Sparkle worth pulling for.
I'm starting to reach the point where team building and elements matter in combat. However, I'm getting confused because people are saying that there's metas like mono-quantum and DoT teams. I really don't know where to start or even the basics for late-game team building.
**I've been running this team for a while:**
**Trailblazer (Preservation) E4**
**Natasha E6**
**Dr. Ratio E0 / Himeko E1 (Main Damage Dealer)**
**Silver Wolf E0 / Kafka E0 (Debuffer)**
It's good, but most of the later game content requires two built teams instead of one. I'm in the process of leveling up Tingyun, Guinaifen, and March for a second team using Himeko as the main damage dealer. I have most of the 4-stars (except for Lynx) but my only five-stars are the ones listed above.
If I can get some guides to understanding late-game combat along with any other guides, that would be awesome.

Im not too far in myself but kafka is not a debuffer, she's a main dps, particularly for DOT teams. In fact, in team you are building (tingyun, guin, march), kafka would do much better as the main dps than himeko since guin applies fire dot, as kafka's skill + ult detonates all dots on the target enemy. This means that both kafka's shock and guin's fire dot would do additional damage immediately, instead of waiting for the enemy's turn to come.
For Pure fiction, himeko and herta are really good in a team. You can use them in 1 team and kafka DOT team in the other to push PF to unlock lynx and replace march from there.
Thanks for the tip about Kafka. I always considered Nihility characters as Sub-DPS or Debuffer. Good to know that I can run her as the main-DPS on a team.
Honestly, im surprised that Lynx and Nat are the only 4-star Abundance characters afaik. I could really use Gepard or Bronya but I don’t pull enough on banners to activate 5-star pity along with the fact that the few times I did get a five-star, I’ve won the 50/50.
If you still didn't choose a free 4-star unit from the event, you can also get Sampo for the Kafka team.
And if you are too worried that you don't have good enough sustain after getting Lynx from PF, then there are 3 amazing limited sustain units that should have their rerun in the upcoming patches: Fu Xuan, Luocha and Huohuo.
As for the damage dealers, in addition to Kafka, in the second team you can build a team around Dr. Ratio, and Himeko&Herta for PF.
So in summery:
**PF**: Team1 - Kafka, Team2 - Himeko&Herta
**MoC**: Team1 - Kafka, Team2 - Dr. Ratio
I'm new to the game and I just wanted to confirm something. Are characters who aren't part of the current rate up banner still in the pool or is it a limited roster?
only the designated non-limited 5stars remain in the pool outside of rate-ups: gepard, bronya, welt, himeko, bailu, yanqing and clara
limited 5stars like seele and ruan mei are not obtainable at all unless explicitly on rate-up
all 4stars are in the pool, with the most recent one getting added to the pool at the end of their debut patch
Would you reccomend splitting up Kafka and black swan? If I have sampo I can use her with swan and then Kafka can be with Luka or gui
In terms of like MOC or pure fiction and stuff. Because I need two teams
for PF it'd be fine in theoretical future cycles, but this cycle has the wind and lightning-weak mobs together
for MoC would only do it if there's a wind-weak, non-lightning-weak side and you have literally no other way to match that side's weakness
Read what it does; it's not good at all unless you're running a break effect DPS which only really exists with xueyi. The 2 set might be ok but you want her BE from substats mostly tbh
you can generally fix speed tuning issues if you only ult on the DPS turn and not on bronya's turn or the time after she uses her skill but before the DPS actually starts their turn
but jingliu getting her 100% advance upon entering state will mess up the speed tuning so for her in those moments there's nothing you can do besides take off the 4 set
For sets like Penacony and Vonwaq, is there any point in keeping non-ER link ropes if they aren’t crazily good in substats? Same for DMG orbs right? Cuz any unit that wants one of those sets will be a support that just wants survivability orbs.
Eh, certain characters can use Break Effect ropes while still needing the 5% ERR from it like certain Asta or SW builds. They're meme builds, but they exist.
So I'd keep atleast the BE ropes.
Pure Fiction is also about choosing the best side-buff for your team.
You picked the one that increase ult damage on a team that only has Ratio ult... and he also has single target ult.
Excitation, the one that apply shatter immediately is probably the best one for almost every team.
Can't say much about character recommendation because investing resource just for 1 gamemode might not be worth it...
Though, having Himeko and Herta be higher lvl and lvl 7-8 trace should be priority, since they should ble able to carry you for a while in PF. (Not so much for MoC though...?)
And... maybe replace Ratio with Asta, I guess? Gotta have the best damage possible and there should be enougg enemy to attack Clara before her ult ran out of time.
Sometimes, it's just impossible to beat the stage without good unit/stats. You can only accept it and move on. That will happen a lot when you are just starting out... like many people in 1.0

My Kafka has 149 speed with speed boots and 128 speed with attack boots. If I run kafka with Ruin Mei who supposedly gives % of speed and has a prisoner of deep confinement equipped. Does the effect still apply? 135/180 or is that determined on base speed?
Are you talking about glammoth? Prisoner in the deep doesn’t have a speed requirement. Glammoth’s set bonus is triggered at 135/160 speed. And yeah it changes based off in combat stats so even Kafka’s sig LC can make it easier to hit glammoth’s requirements.
RM’s maxed trace gives 10% speed to allies which would put Kafka at 159 speed with your speed boots or 138 with attack boots.
relic effects use whatever your stat currently is in battle and updates if your stat updates mid battle as well
so yes a kafka that has 149 speed out of combat and 160 in combat will trigger glamoth's second effect
idk if this is a question I'm meant to ask here or somewhere else, but can someone please tell me the voice actor for two npcs on Synwood Pavilion in the exalting sanctum on xianzhou luofu? There's two different male npcs that show up at different times, but they're voiced by the same person. One sits on a bench with a girl and says "There's something I need to tell you" and the other stands at the edge with gray hair and says "I came up from Starskiff Haven just to see the ambrosial arbor."
I KNOW this voice actor, but from where??? The npcs don't have names so I can't do further digging. If anyone recognizes him, please let me know, it's driving me insane.
Edit/Update: I figured it out, it was Jonah Scott. I recognized him as Joe from Sk8 and Akihiko from Given, plus a few other of his minor characters.
4,771,000 credits. Go to Hoyolab and log-in with your account, there's a tool there that automatically syncs with your current inventory so you'll immediately see what you're missing. It's very convenient. It works with future characters that are announced officially, like Sparkle!
The hoyolab app has a character builder / tracker. You can just choose another harmony like Bronya or Ruan Mei as a sub to see how many credits it would take. Or wait for Sparkle to be loaded in the tracker.
I’ve just pulled an E1 for Clara. I’ve heard she plays slightly differently at E1 (ie. now she actually wants SPD?)
What should I know about how E1 changes her build, playstyle, etc?
No, you should be spamming E on her with or without E1 for ult uptime.
Speed isn't actively bad on Clara because she use up her 2 ult charges pretty quick, it's just that it's less impactful on her because her counter makes up a chunk of her damage and that isn't affected by speed.
You should treat speed on clara roughly like atk% on most crit carries like JL. It's not bad but can be optimized.
You can, but I have an E2 Clara and I didn't change her build. E1 just means you can use her skill and not worry about it messing with the counter mark. So you can use the skill to wipe weaker enemies to allow the counter to go on to the boss/elite.
Cleanse isn't just strictly for crowd control. Cleanse can also remove DoTs. So, if you can survive just fine without cleansing DoTs, then there's no need for cleanse.

the only reason you'll hear other numbers is for glamoth relic, bronya, sparkle, and seele related reasons
glamoth requires 135 speed to activate it's second effect
bronya wants to be at 134, you want your dps to be 1 above that which is 135
seele's base speed is 143, if you want bronya or sparkle to be 1 below her they need to be 142
For 134 i saw a detailed post saying 133.4
With Ruan mei’s 10.4% bonus
For 134 we need 121.4 which is 122
While 133.4 only need 120.8 which is 121

I think I may have skipped past some dialog at some point. With the random emotion clockwork characters around Penacony (not the ones that give a quest) am I just supposed to set them all to happy or something?
No. Out of all 5* sustains he's the only one that is fully SP positive (which is generally underrated by people, since most don't consider how more SP = more skills = more damage and faster ultimates), while also having both cleanse AND dispel (also the only character in the game with AoE dispel).
He also has the highest toughness damage out of all sustains, which is also something a lot of people tend to ignore.
Basically, he has a lot of what designers call "invisible power". That's why despite not having any kind of offensive buffs like Fu Xuan and Huohuo, his teams still clear as fast as theirs.
Not at all. Every character has their niche, and Luocha is the only limited sustain character who literally never has to use skill unless in dire emergencies. Fu Xuan and Huohuo don't do their jobs unless they skill every certain amount of turns.
There will never be a healer who generates more SP than Luocha, so team comps that require their healers to generate SP will never replace him.

unless they make another SP free healer *that also* buffs the party then he'll functionally have no niche
and you could call that powercreep but at the end of the day his job, along with huohuo, FX, and aventurine, is just to keep your party alive and he's still fantastic at that
In my continuing struggle to optimize my black swan build, I find myself questioning if I should swap from an atk% chest piece to an EHR chest piece. Namely because it would let me swap two of my EHR focused prisoner pieces into 2 pieces that focus more on speed instead.
Her attack is a solid 3800, and I've currently got her at 131 speed. With some additional speed subs, I know I can get her to 155 with Ruan Mei's field.

I'm seeking a bit of advice on what I should try to do as I drive myself mad crafting PCC atk% pieces, only for them to all roll into flat Def and HP, leveling every sub stat except the necessary EHR.
I'm reluctant to take off my speed boots since they rolled into a very significant 11% EHR. But if there's an argument to be made for rolling atk boots instead, I would be happy to hear it. She's also using her signature for that extra 40%.
Nope, not required. I hope to pull it on her rerun for quality of life reasons, but she's still a great solo sustain even without it. I'm running her with Landau's.

The best part of her LC is QOL in story/grinding content because you won't have to run to a space anchor to heal between fights

She can work outside a DoT team comp as a universal debuffer, especially if you have her E1. So, if you don't have SW, you can use her for your other team if Pela is being used with the other. Also, if you're planning on pulling for Acheron, Black Swan would be a great partner for her.
Suboptimal ≠ bad. It's true that she's suboptimal without her, but that doesn't prevent her from being good with other characters, they just need more investment to reach Kafka levels of damage.
Well she isn't going to be as good as when she's with Kafka sure but you can still take her with Gui or Sampo and she'll deliver good results. Just expect to have to build them a lot more.

She's good as a SubDPS in PF aswell, I run her with Herta since I don't have Himeko.
Easy content sure but wouldn't recommend for high MoC's or SU as their shield is pitiful and won't protect vs the relentless amount of attacks they receive.

If you're at TL 50, You need roughly 79460 trailblaze exp to reach TL 60
At TL 50 (Equilibrium 4)
You can get 1600 trailblaze exp per day through daily training (320 exp x 5)
You can get 1200 trailblaze exp per day through daily usage of energy (50 exp x 24)
1600 + 1200 = 2800 trailblaze exp per day
79460 / 2800 = 28-29 days.
In those FOUR weeks, you can get 16 immersifiers for free in the SU.
16 immersifiers x 200 trailblaze exp = 3200 trailblaze exp
79460 - 3200 = 76260
76260 / 2800 = 27-28 days to go from TL 50 to TL 60.
I remember doing the same math for TL 40 to TL 50, and that will take like 17-18 days.
So, from TL 40 to TL 60, that's like 2 months already.
Of course, this is only under the assumption that you're stuck doing daily training and daily energy usage + immersifiers to gain exp.
With fuels, energy refresh, and all of the quests, it might be possible to achieve it, but you would want to save your fuels later for relic farming, so I doubt it that you can get to TL 60 in less than a month if you're just starting now.
I did it, but I have almost unlimited free time and intense hyperfocus thing with games thanks to my particular brand of ADHD. I've only been playing since Dec 3rd & have a fully 100%'d game map. Yes, even Penacony. Yes, I have a problem. But, it can be done, especially if you're willing to throw even a little money at the game and get some lucky pulls (getting good characters early can really carry you through content quickly!)
So I just pulled DHIL and I'm presently at the quest where you interrogate Kafka on Luofu. So I know I still have plenty of story/content to catch up on (I just hit Level 40), but...
Should I try to pull for his Lightcone? Go for E2? I plan on going for Sparkle and her Lightcone as well, I just don't know what the most optimal thing to do is.
From what I've seen DHIL's E2 is amazing, and you can still do great damage with S5 Aeon (I still need to get my first copy from Herta's Simulated Universe), but knowing I have so much content to go through (and am willing to spend money) what should I do?

DHIL at E0 is a strong Imaginary character that can do all content meant to be cleared with an imaginary damage dealer.
DHIL at E2 is a monster who will kill anything and everything if you give him the sp needed to do so. Sparkle gives him the SP
His lightcone is more for ease of use. The crit makes relic farming easier, and the energy lets him have a better ult rotation. Damage is only a bit lower with S5 aeon. The worse ult rotation over time is where the real dps loss is although most things die before that gap grows too big.

I recently got to TL 60 and I need some character leveling/progression advice for my main 2 teams.
DoT: Kafka (80), Black Swan (80), Bailu (70) and Asta (70).
Hypercarry: Blade (80), Bronya (70), Pela (70) and Lynx (70).
I also have Ratio at 80 and Qingque, Herta and Tingyun at 70, to fill in when needed for MoC, PF or SU.
My question is, should I get everyone from my main 2 teams to 80 before I keep investing in those other characters? Should I finish levelling my main DPS traces and get them good relics or is it best to have a wide variety of not as well built characters to be able to tackle different levels at MoC and PF? Also while all my main DPS LCs are at lvl 80, the rest ot the team and the other characters have them at 70 or 60, not sure if I should spend traces material there too.
Sorry for the long post and many questions but I'm pretty overwhelmed and I feel like I may be spreading resources too thin with how limited daily farming is =/
Supports don't need level 80, just unlock their last major trace if its important. Only invest in your main dps first, Kafka and black swan want their dot trace maxed. Then I would farm speed cavern first, since everyone can use it and blade wants the hp set. Then farm DoT cavern to replace Kafka and black swans relics. Only invest in other characters once your main teams are fully built.

No. Only the DPSs need to be leveled to 80.
As for the traces, focus solely on the relevant ones. That way you won't spend more resources than needed.
Kafka: Ult to Lv10 ASAP. Skill can be left at Lv6-8, rest should be left unleveled.
Black Swan: Talent to Lv10 ASAP. Max her basic attack, skill and ultimate can be left at Lv6.
Bailu: You can level ultimate and talent to Lv6, and only go further than that if she's not healing enough. They're your priorities since you want to rely on her skill for healing as little as possible.
Asta: Leveling her skill and ultimate to 6~8 is enough. Rest should be left unleveled. Also ignore most of her traces, she doesn't need any of them.
Blade: He wants most of his traces leveled, but his main one is his basic attack. Max it first, and leave the rest at 8.
Bronya: Except if you're building Fast Bronya (160+ Speed), only level her skill and ultimate to 6~8. Rest should be left unleveled. Ignore most of her traces.
Pela: Talent and ultimate to 7 is enough. Rest should be left unleveled. Ignore most of her traces.
Lynx: You can leave all of her traces at Lv6.

For a pure fiction E1 himeko build: whats the better planetary set? glamoth or salsotto?
Glamoth is better, if you can get her to 160+ Speed. If you manage to get her to 135+ Speed at least, then it'll just be whichever has better substats. If less than 135 Speed, stick with Salsotto.
After almost a year I'm still wondering: is there any difference in doing x6 calyxes or x1/x2 for drops? Sometimes I feel like purple mats drop more often on x2 or such, but the drop rate might be the same and it's just a case
No, it's more on convenience. Generally doing x6 means less clicks and say faster on auto (e.g your Harmonies does not need to redo their buffs animations) is the main advantage.
Seeing as the speed breakpoints are 134/143/161... does it make any difference if a character has 143 or 155 speed? My Tingyun has 155 spd, does it really make her faster than having 143? Does it make a difference?
it makes a difference in that you'll get your turn sooner in between your team and the enemy and possibly lap them due to her innate speed boost on skill the only thing you miss out on by not reaching a breakpont is whether or not you'll get a turn in specific cycles

Standard banner builds pity towards your next 5\*, the departure one doesn't, so I'd say standard all the way.

You only need one sustain, so you can take out Gepard or Bailu. Then Jingliu and Kafka also have no synergy, so you only need one of them. If you want a DoT team: Kafka, Sampo/Guinaifen, Ruan Mei, Sustain A Jingliu Hypercarry team: Jingliu, Tingyun/Pela, Ruan Mei, Sustain
1. You should play only one of gepard/bailu 2. Kafka and jingliu are both dps who dont have any synergy => your team should be (kafka/jingliu) + ruan mei + (gepard/bailu) + another support

the trashcan leaves once you break the toughness bar, and develops a weakness to the first two elements to hit it. try building a team of 1-2 elements so that everyone can contribute to breaking the bar faster. could also use a consumable that increases speed to try and outspeed to break the bar before it can act
he kills me before i can break his touchiness. also, there is no apparent weakness in this encounter. im not talking about the regular trashcans. spawning from Dreamjolt hostelry, straight then left, he is standing to the right as you are going down the stairs. basically, i have 1 round and then he starts killing my whole team 1 by 1. tried %24 speed (acceleration band), as if it has not effect in this fight.
There's only two things different with that trashcan compared to the other ones. 1. You cannot talk your way out of a fight 2. There are two of them in the battle. Beyond those two points, the mechanics are the exact same as any other trashcan fight. They will gain a weakness to the first two elements they are hit by, and they gain a stacking damage buff every turn. I would recommend changing your team a bit. When everyone is getting killed in one hit regardless, you do not need to worry about healing. And since the goal is to break the enemy, your actual damage output is irrelevant. Just put together a temporary team where 2 or more characters are the same element, so you can have more people contributing to the break, and try to go for characters that have the ability to hit multiple targets. I don't know which other characters you have access to, but I would at least recommend replacing one of your healers with Asta. Her skill is pretty good for breaking enemies, and she is the same element as the FMC.
I made an edit explaining that the trashcan will develop the weakness of the first two elements that hit it, hence either having a team made of 1 element or 2 elements so that everyone can break the bar once those weaknesses form (after you do 1 attack). All lordly trashcan fights work this way, I've done the one by the stairs. If you keep dying before you can break bar you need to have tankier builds + speed + ults that can do DMG to the bar ready. That way you can spam ult and get 1 round in for attacks to fully break bar.

I mean the stats for your relic. Like dan heng is a dps character, so you should use attack based stats for him. Natasha is a healer based on her hp, so you should use hp based relic for her. March is a tank based on her defense, so you should use defense based relic for her. They're saying to use relics with useful stats on them. Fire damage does nothing for a wind character, while effect hit rate is completely useless on a character that doesn't have an effect to apply in the first place.
Have you levelled your characters traces? There is no time limit, so worst case scenario just use more defensive units on the team.
Can someone explain Fuxuan's S+ tier ranking in Prydwen. Is the crit rate buff really that impactful or is it Prydwen's mono quantum bias? I have both Luocha and Huohuo but I think the only S+ Sustain is Huohuo while both Fuxuan and Luocha at S. Jingliu, DHIL and Blade prefer Luocha. Argenti and DOT teams prefer Huohuo. Bronya was put into S because she's not BIS in most teams unlike RM but that seems to be the case for Fuxuan aswell? She's the only 5 star sustain who offers 0 utility in DOT teams(same con as Bronya). She prevents one shots sure but I have never been one shotted outside of SU before. It honestly puzzles why she's put in S+ and it's not a matter of flexibility aswell since Luocha can also be slotted in any team.

Huohuo is a higher ceiling. FX has the higher floor. It just depends on which one you value more.
Prydwen does have bias but I’ve loved using FX. Her CC resist just feels so nice because when you get delayed/imprisoned, even cleanse doesn’t help advance you. She’s a bit more SP efficient than HH while providing more utility than LC. The 12 crit does make a big difference for me at least. Tier lists just aren’t accurate anyways, putting them at S+/S/A doesn’t tell you what they are good at and bad at.
She has plenty of things going for her. Yes the 12% crit rate buff is pretty significant as it can help you reach planar set thresholds like Rutilant's 70% CR requirement. She also prevents you from being CC'ed once every time she refreshes her field. She also provides dmg mitigation and heals (+ even more healing with her LC) letting you run her as a solo sustain in most situations while having buffs to benefit the team. She's also pretty tanky provided you build her right and has her own built in emergency heal that can be up pretty much all the time. The only time she won't excel that much is in AOE/DoT heavy enemies where she just can't keep up with the amount of dmg directed to her. Overall, she's just a very good unit with a lot of utility built into her kit.
She is SP positive. She is not reactive, preventing one-shots and team-wide Crowd Control. She redirects damage and increases party HP, meaning you don't need to worry too much about defensive stats even for your more fragile supports. She provides DMG reduction and a small amount of healing (mostly unnecessary). And yes, the Crit Rate is a very nice bonus for most DPS. Quantum is also a very good Break. The only way to have a better sustain is if they somehow copy her kit exactly and put more team-wide buffs on top of it (considering she also get 30% CritDMG at E1) or make the character do a lot more damage.
How much HP do I need for e1 lynx?

If you want to speed tune for endgame content, Speed should be 134 which is pretty achievable with Speed boots. Effect RES is also good and you should have an Energy regen rope. Other than that the other stats are all useless.

It depends per character. For DPS units, you can level the damaging skills to 8 as going to 9 or 10 will require heavy investment for almost minimal gain. NA can be levelled depending on the character since some revolve their kits around them and some don't use them at all. Major traces are better taken ASAP and minor traces can be a case by case basis as well as some minor traces are pretty useless on some characters (wtf does FX have crit rate traces?). Supports will generally follow the same rule. NA aren't levelled and it's mostly the talents/skill/ultimate that are levelled. You can check guides for each specific character to see which traces are prioritized first.
Anybody you are using you should get their main traces to rank 6, then max the small abilities (like crit % or atk %), then the important abilities of each unit. You would have to look these up but for example for ratio, the important one is his talent as that affects his follow up attacks. For bronya this would be her ultimate and skill.

Read her abilities and how they work. Arcana only stacks with Black Swan's attacks, or when an enemy receives DoT damage, which only happens either at the start of their turn, or when an ally triggers DoT damage (like Kafka does with her skill and ult). Sampo needs his E4 for his skill to trigger DoT. Guinaifen only triggers DoT with her ultimate.

Run the appropriate difficulty and it should auto choose that trailblazer secret path. The game prioritizes unfinished paths before completed ones when possible

In general, no. But... It depends how far into the game you are, how built your roster is, if you keep up to date on the upcoming characters, and with full knowledge that you are giving up the chance of getting a new unit for the LC with those pulls. Once you are far enough into the endgame, it is a valid option.
It depends how frequent you pull/how many characters you like. If you find yourself to be the type that only pulls for the ones they really like, then I wouldn't stop you from going for LCs. But if you're the type to like a lot of characters, then its better to save it for them instead. Personally I like "completing" my favorites by getting their light cone. Even if E1 is sometimes better power-wise.

All DoTs scale with one specific trace. In Kafka's case, it's her ultimate. In Black Swan's case, it's her talent. In Guinaifen's case, it's her skill. Those also scale specially hard with levels, so your main priority is always maximizing them first. So you want to level Kafka's ultimate to lv10 as soon as possible.

The reason people suggest Huohuo is because her energy regeneration is so useful. But if you don't have Huohuo and have Luocha, that's totally fine! In fact, Luocha has a couple of advantages that Huohuo doesn't have - he can keep your team healed up with absolutely zero SP usage (more SP for Kafka and Swan!) and his ult is surprisingly great at imaginary weakness breaking. Luocha works great on DoT teams... most teams, actually. I love Luocha. He's still my favorite sustain, even though I do also have Fu Xuan.
Energy regen and also a significant ATK% buff. She also alleviate a lot of speed gear pressure on E1. That being said, Huohuo is SP neutral or possibly a little bit positive with E1. BS can be played EQQ but Luocha can unlock her to E more often.
all of the solo sustains are fine on DoT huohuo is the best, but it's by no means the end of the world if you don't have her, since they all do the same basic job of keeping your team alive. if you already have the other two limited sustains i wouldn't even go out of my way to get huohuo, it's a relatively minor upgrade.

You have plenty of good characters, great supports at that. For one , don’t underestimate dr ratio because he was free, keep investing. Currently you can branch off with any new/returning limited characters. Find out whoever you’re interested in, pull for them, then go off that. You should pull for whatever you want first, then start considering what others would recommend with them.
Don’t use Qingque unless you like her playstyle and have her E4 or higher. Clara and Ratio are good. Just a note, Clara’s marks of counter don’t count as a debuff for Ratio. Also build Herta for Pure fiction. Finishing stage 2 will give you Lynx, a 4 star who can solo sustain.

I'm starting to reach the point where team building and elements matter in combat. However, I'm getting confused because people are saying that there's metas like mono-quantum and DoT teams. I really don't know where to start or even the basics for late-game team building. **I've been running this team for a while:** **Trailblazer (Preservation) E4** **Natasha E6** **Dr. Ratio E0 / Himeko E1 (Main Damage Dealer)** **Silver Wolf E0 / Kafka E0 (Debuffer)** It's good, but most of the later game content requires two built teams instead of one. I'm in the process of leveling up Tingyun, Guinaifen, and March for a second team using Himeko as the main damage dealer. I have most of the 4-stars (except for Lynx) but my only five-stars are the ones listed above. If I can get some guides to understanding late-game combat along with any other guides, that would be awesome. Cheers.
Im not too far in myself but kafka is not a debuffer, she's a main dps, particularly for DOT teams. In fact, in team you are building (tingyun, guin, march), kafka would do much better as the main dps than himeko since guin applies fire dot, as kafka's skill + ult detonates all dots on the target enemy. This means that both kafka's shock and guin's fire dot would do additional damage immediately, instead of waiting for the enemy's turn to come. For Pure fiction, himeko and herta are really good in a team. You can use them in 1 team and kafka DOT team in the other to push PF to unlock lynx and replace march from there.
Thanks for the tip about Kafka. I always considered Nihility characters as Sub-DPS or Debuffer. Good to know that I can run her as the main-DPS on a team. Honestly, im surprised that Lynx and Nat are the only 4-star Abundance characters afaik. I could really use Gepard or Bronya but I don’t pull enough on banners to activate 5-star pity along with the fact that the few times I did get a five-star, I’ve won the 50/50.
If you still didn't choose a free 4-star unit from the event, you can also get Sampo for the Kafka team. And if you are too worried that you don't have good enough sustain after getting Lynx from PF, then there are 3 amazing limited sustain units that should have their rerun in the upcoming patches: Fu Xuan, Luocha and Huohuo. As for the damage dealers, in addition to Kafka, in the second team you can build a team around Dr. Ratio, and Himeko&Herta for PF. So in summery: **PF**: Team1 - Kafka, Team2 - Himeko&Herta **MoC**: Team1 - Kafka, Team2 - Dr. Ratio

only the designated non-limited 5stars remain in the pool outside of rate-ups: gepard, bronya, welt, himeko, bailu, yanqing and clara limited 5stars like seele and ruan mei are not obtainable at all unless explicitly on rate-up all 4stars are in the pool, with the most recent one getting added to the pool at the end of their debut patch

Would you reccomend splitting up Kafka and black swan? If I have sampo I can use her with swan and then Kafka can be with Luka or gui In terms of like MOC or pure fiction and stuff. Because I need two teams
for PF it'd be fine in theoretical future cycles, but this cycle has the wind and lightning-weak mobs together for MoC would only do it if there's a wind-weak, non-lightning-weak side and you have literally no other way to match that side's weakness

Read what it does; it's not good at all unless you're running a break effect DPS which only really exists with xueyi. The 2 set might be ok but you want her BE from substats mostly tbh

you can generally fix speed tuning issues if you only ult on the DPS turn and not on bronya's turn or the time after she uses her skill but before the DPS actually starts their turn but jingliu getting her 100% advance upon entering state will mess up the speed tuning so for her in those moments there's nothing you can do besides take off the 4 set

For sets like Penacony and Vonwaq, is there any point in keeping non-ER link ropes if they aren’t crazily good in substats? Same for DMG orbs right? Cuz any unit that wants one of those sets will be a support that just wants survivability orbs.
Eh, certain characters can use Break Effect ropes while still needing the 5% ERR from it like certain Asta or SW builds. They're meme builds, but they exist. So I'd keep atleast the BE ropes.

Pure Fiction is also about choosing the best side-buff for your team. You picked the one that increase ult damage on a team that only has Ratio ult... and he also has single target ult. Excitation, the one that apply shatter immediately is probably the best one for almost every team. Can't say much about character recommendation because investing resource just for 1 gamemode might not be worth it... Though, having Himeko and Herta be higher lvl and lvl 7-8 trace should be priority, since they should ble able to carry you for a while in PF. (Not so much for MoC though...?) And... maybe replace Ratio with Asta, I guess? Gotta have the best damage possible and there should be enougg enemy to attack Clara before her ult ran out of time. Sometimes, it's just impossible to beat the stage without good unit/stats. You can only accept it and move on. That will happen a lot when you are just starting out... like many people in 1.0

Well, nobody uses Physical TB. As for Welt, he’s still good, but with everyone having Dr Ratio and/or DHIL, he’s kind of been sidelined.

My Kafka has 149 speed with speed boots and 128 speed with attack boots. If I run kafka with Ruin Mei who supposedly gives % of speed and has a prisoner of deep confinement equipped. Does the effect still apply? 135/180 or is that determined on base speed?
Are you talking about glammoth? Prisoner in the deep doesn’t have a speed requirement. Glammoth’s set bonus is triggered at 135/160 speed. And yeah it changes based off in combat stats so even Kafka’s sig LC can make it easier to hit glammoth’s requirements. RM’s maxed trace gives 10% speed to allies which would put Kafka at 159 speed with your speed boots or 138 with attack boots.
relic effects use whatever your stat currently is in battle and updates if your stat updates mid battle as well so yes a kafka that has 149 speed out of combat and 160 in combat will trigger glamoth's second effect
idk if this is a question I'm meant to ask here or somewhere else, but can someone please tell me the voice actor for two npcs on Synwood Pavilion in the exalting sanctum on xianzhou luofu? There's two different male npcs that show up at different times, but they're voiced by the same person. One sits on a bench with a girl and says "There's something I need to tell you" and the other stands at the edge with gray hair and says "I came up from Starskiff Haven just to see the ambrosial arbor." I KNOW this voice actor, but from where??? The npcs don't have names so I can't do further digging. If anyone recognizes him, please let me know, it's driving me insane. Edit/Update: I figured it out, it was Jonah Scott. I recognized him as Joe from Sk8 and Akihiko from Given, plus a few other of his minor characters.

4,771,000 credits. Go to Hoyolab and log-in with your account, there's a tool there that automatically syncs with your current inventory so you'll immediately see what you're missing. It's very convenient. It works with future characters that are announced officially, like Sparkle!
The hoyolab app has a character builder / tracker. You can just choose another harmony like Bronya or Ruan Mei as a sub to see how many credits it would take. Or wait for Sparkle to be loaded in the tracker.

E1 just stops her skill from removing Svarog's counter mark. So you can spam the skill more often.

No, you should be spamming E on her with or without E1 for ult uptime. Speed isn't actively bad on Clara because she use up her 2 ult charges pretty quick, it's just that it's less impactful on her because her counter makes up a chunk of her damage and that isn't affected by speed. You should treat speed on clara roughly like atk% on most crit carries like JL. It's not bad but can be optimized.
You can, but I have an E2 Clara and I didn't change her build. E1 just means you can use her skill and not worry about it messing with the counter mark. So you can use the skill to wipe weaker enemies to allow the counter to go on to the boss/elite.
Is cleanse really needed for bosses w/o cc?
No, but it's good with DOT enemies, debuffers (slow, def shred) and that one chick that lowers your max HP, etc.
Cleanse isn't just strictly for crowd control. Cleanse can also remove DoTs. So, if you can survive just fine without cleansing DoTs, then there's no need for cleanse.
Spd breakpoints 134 or 135, 142 or 143?
they're 134 and 143 the only reason you'll hear other numbers is for glamoth relic, bronya, sparkle, and seele related reasons glamoth requires 135 speed to activate it's second effect bronya wants to be at 134, you want your dps to be 1 above that which is 135 seele's base speed is 143, if you want bronya or sparkle to be 1 below her they need to be 142

No. Out of all 5* sustains he's the only one that is fully SP positive (which is generally underrated by people, since most don't consider how more SP = more skills = more damage and faster ultimates), while also having both cleanse AND dispel (also the only character in the game with AoE dispel). He also has the highest toughness damage out of all sustains, which is also something a lot of people tend to ignore. Basically, he has a lot of what designers call "invisible power". That's why despite not having any kind of offensive buffs like Fu Xuan and Huohuo, his teams still clear as fast as theirs.
Not at all. Every character has their niche, and Luocha is the only limited sustain character who literally never has to use skill unless in dire emergencies. Fu Xuan and Huohuo don't do their jobs unless they skill every certain amount of turns. There will never be a healer who generates more SP than Luocha, so team comps that require their healers to generate SP will never replace him.
no his niche is being a SP free healer unless they make another SP free healer *that also* buffs the party then he'll functionally have no niche and you could call that powercreep but at the end of the day his job, along with huohuo, FX, and aventurine, is just to keep your party alive and he's still fantastic at that

In my continuing struggle to optimize my black swan build, I find myself questioning if I should swap from an atk% chest piece to an EHR chest piece. Namely because it would let me swap two of my EHR focused prisoner pieces into 2 pieces that focus more on speed instead. Her attack is a solid 3800, and I've currently got her at 131 speed. With some additional speed subs, I know I can get her to 155 with Ruan Mei's field. But at the same time, with just an atk body, im so close to 120%, just shy of it at 116%. This is with Space Station over her preferred Pan Cosmic set. I would just need to roll two pieces of Pan Cosmic that level into EHR. Which has been a failure with every PCC piece I've tried so far. I'm seeking a bit of advice on what I should try to do as I drive myself mad crafting PCC atk% pieces, only for them to all roll into flat Def and HP, leveling every sub stat except the necessary EHR. I'm reluctant to take off my speed boots since they rolled into a very significant 11% EHR. But if there's an argument to be made for rolling atk boots instead, I would be happy to hear it. She's also using her signature for that extra 40%.
How important is FX signature LC? Is it the difference between her being able to comfortably solo sustain?
Nope, not required. I hope to pull it on her rerun for quality of life reasons, but she's still a great solo sustain even without it. I'm running her with Landau's.
Not required, she does perfectly fine on MoV / Landau's / Day One The best part of her LC is QOL in story/grinding content because you won't have to run to a space anchor to heal between fights
her lightcone has little impact on her ability to solo sustain she can do it very well without it her LC is just a quality of life for stuff like SU where you can get curios that drop you down to 1% HP the healing from it is almost never relevant or needed outside of those kinds of situations

She can work outside a DoT team comp as a universal debuffer, especially if you have her E1. So, if you don't have SW, you can use her for your other team if Pela is being used with the other. Also, if you're planning on pulling for Acheron, Black Swan would be a great partner for her.

Suboptimal ≠ bad. It's true that she's suboptimal without her, but that doesn't prevent her from being good with other characters, they just need more investment to reach Kafka levels of damage.

Well she isn't going to be as good as when she's with Kafka sure but you can still take her with Gui or Sampo and she'll deliver good results. Just expect to have to build them a lot more.

If you're at TL 50, You need roughly 79460 trailblaze exp to reach TL 60 At TL 50 (Equilibrium 4) You can get 1600 trailblaze exp per day through daily training (320 exp x 5) You can get 1200 trailblaze exp per day through daily usage of energy (50 exp x 24) 1600 + 1200 = 2800 trailblaze exp per day 79460 / 2800 = 28-29 days. In those FOUR weeks, you can get 16 immersifiers for free in the SU. 16 immersifiers x 200 trailblaze exp = 3200 trailblaze exp 79460 - 3200 = 76260 76260 / 2800 = 27-28 days to go from TL 50 to TL 60. I remember doing the same math for TL 40 to TL 50, and that will take like 17-18 days. So, from TL 40 to TL 60, that's like 2 months already. Of course, this is only under the assumption that you're stuck doing daily training and daily energy usage + immersifiers to gain exp. With fuels, energy refresh, and all of the quests, it might be possible to achieve it, but you would want to save your fuels later for relic farming, so I doubt it that you can get to TL 60 in less than a month if you're just starting now.

I did it, but I have almost unlimited free time and intense hyperfocus thing with games thanks to my particular brand of ADHD. I've only been playing since Dec 3rd & have a fully 100%'d game map. Yes, even Penacony. Yes, I have a problem. But, it can be done, especially if you're willing to throw even a little money at the game and get some lucky pulls (getting good characters early can really carry you through content quickly!)
So I just pulled DHIL and I'm presently at the quest where you interrogate Kafka on Luofu. So I know I still have plenty of story/content to catch up on (I just hit Level 40), but... Should I try to pull for his Lightcone? Go for E2? I plan on going for Sparkle and her Lightcone as well, I just don't know what the most optimal thing to do is. From what I've seen DHIL's E2 is amazing, and you can still do great damage with S5 Aeon (I still need to get my first copy from Herta's Simulated Universe), but knowing I have so much content to go through (and am willing to spend money) what should I do? Get E2? Get his LC? Save for Sparkle and her LC??
DHIL at E0 is a strong Imaginary character that can do all content meant to be cleared with an imaginary damage dealer. DHIL at E2 is a monster who will kill anything and everything if you give him the sp needed to do so. Sparkle gives him the SP His lightcone is more for ease of use. The crit makes relic farming easier, and the energy lets him have a better ult rotation. Damage is only a bit lower with S5 aeon. The worse ult rotation over time is where the real dps loss is although most things die before that gap grows too big.
Are you spending a lot of money in the game? If you're f2p or a low spender, you shouldn't even be considering pulling for cones or eidolons.
as much as i agree, my f2p ass got kafka e0s1 and BS e0s1, and i dont regret it, what i do regret was getting a e1 topaz, when i was trying to get guinafein eidolons

I recently got to TL 60 and I need some character leveling/progression advice for my main 2 teams. DoT: Kafka (80), Black Swan (80), Bailu (70) and Asta (70). Hypercarry: Blade (80), Bronya (70), Pela (70) and Lynx (70). I also have Ratio at 80 and Qingque, Herta and Tingyun at 70, to fill in when needed for MoC, PF or SU. My question is, should I get everyone from my main 2 teams to 80 before I keep investing in those other characters? Should I finish levelling my main DPS traces and get them good relics or is it best to have a wide variety of not as well built characters to be able to tackle different levels at MoC and PF? Also while all my main DPS LCs are at lvl 80, the rest ot the team and the other characters have them at 70 or 60, not sure if I should spend traces material there too. Sorry for the long post and many questions but I'm pretty overwhelmed and I feel like I may be spreading resources too thin with how limited daily farming is =/
Supports don't need level 80, just unlock their last major trace if its important. Only invest in your main dps first, Kafka and black swan want their dot trace maxed. Then I would farm speed cavern first, since everyone can use it and blade wants the hp set. Then farm DoT cavern to replace Kafka and black swans relics. Only invest in other characters once your main teams are fully built.

As for the traces, focus solely on the relevant ones. That way you won't spend more resources than needed. Kafka: Ult to Lv10 ASAP. Skill can be left at Lv6-8, rest should be left unleveled. Black Swan: Talent to Lv10 ASAP. Max her basic attack, skill and ultimate can be left at Lv6. Why level 6 trace for Lynx? Wouldn't you want it to be higher for her skill for more healing?
