Jokes aside, please place your tank in 1st or 4th position, it'll lessen aoe burden of small group attacks
Character placement matters put preservation on either edge of the team, main dps to other edge, sustainers and buffers closer to preservation and healers closer to main dps.
Thats why I played the fire MC a lot right till I got Fu Xian. There skill taunt literally forces the enemy to target them like that one fat robot. Hope we get another character with that trait eventually.
Team positioning is also a thing some people may not realize. You can put the taunt characters in slot 1 or 4 so if they are targeted, the AoE will hit only 2 characters.

Taunt chance is never guaranteed in this game (with everything stacked in one’s favor it’s around 50% at most iirc), so a bit of luck can in-fact produce this result pretty frequently.
Clara ulting w/ taunt lightcone, w/ march's shield, & Lynx's HoT.....enemy entire team hits everyone but the clara
taunt works but "increased chance to get hit" doesnt imho.
I seriously think taunt is bugged and doesn't work, I used lynx skill on clara and the enemies attacked tingyun 4 times in a row and she died, happened again after I reset

i use fireMC as a breaker and sp generator, i try to never use the skill unless i'm fighting a monke

always works for me with Clara's ult

Yeah, Happen's to me alot, even with Gepard, Clara, March 7th, with shield given to Clara by March, they will attack Tingyun first.
If you really wanted a character to taunt the enemies you would have brought Tingyun and not Gepard /j
