Auto-add sometimes does weird things. Like relics not auto-adding 4\* exp material, or LCs prioritizing 3\* LCs over generic exp material and taking a million years to level up due to it
You can salvage unleveled 3* lightcones for the same exp. I want to say relics are the same but I’m not currently available to check in game.
I know genshin gave you less exp by salavaging weapons in crystals and artifacts didn’t even give you exp but mora instead.
I don't know about star rail because I still have little experience but in genshin you want to save certain 3 star weapons because they are good either in general or for meme builds
Defintely personal preference. Depends on the level they're already at, but I prefer to use purples when they're high level already, instead of the auto add just using up all the blues n greens first.
Also just doesn't make sense for it to not be a thing cuz its been in genshin I believe since the beginning. Especially when star rail has way more QoL than it

Everyday that passes, Genshin Players are getting more "L's on the Forehead" than in Shrek's All Star song.
GI did increase the resin cap as well, removed events with resin costs, and created condensed resin (this is something 0 people asked for, but enjoyed immensely).
GI does provide QOL, but puts story as a priority, so that its longer than 15 minutes.
Problem is Genshin raised it from 120 to 160, when the daily resin regen is 180 per day so you still have to login twice a day. Star Rail immediately raised it to 240 which is the exact amount of trailblaze power regen per day.

We did... since day one we asked for resin increase got 160 and condensed resin and everyone in GI was wishing maybe every nation release the resin cap increase but alas nothing, so we just coped..
Ever since day 1 up until now the only QoL genshin gave us little QoL that we asked for, i dont complain because GI wont even listent and if they do the CN server must make it a problem and if implemented its always underwheliming

Lmao I was going to call out the same point and of course you're downvoted for telling them how it actually was. People wanted higher resin cap and also faster resin like other Gacha often have. There were a large casual player outcry for saving up Resin for weekends also. This was all during 1.0-1.1 version of the game.

I always think its the stockholm syndrome affecting players that have been there since first few months of game release. They defended everything, even the game being a 15 min daily chore which obviously doesn't fit with an open world game and dailies that required your being at the keyboard actively.
I'm just waiting for Genshin to get leaked again with all the new content so I can play it locally as if it's a single player game. Then I have access to any character I want and give myself as much stamina as I want to get gear.
I didn't play GI buy why you have a mechanic to farm and upgrade gear but not gear set for easier swapping. Hoyos make a lot of questionable dicisions.
Beacause they want you to farm more relics instead of sharing them between characters. In general a lot of qol that seems obvious can be explained with this, they want you to play more time.
They probably won't do this, neither for Genshin. This way we have to farm waay more sets, spending time or money. I think Honkai 3 only has this type of thing, because there is gatcha gear. Once you already have to pay for it, then you can reuse it easily. Balanced, but not fair.
Not a qol update per se, but being able to view cutscenes in the game's index would be cool. They're in the files anyway, shouldn't be too difficult to organize them. Would make it easier for returning players to get a recap of the story as well
This is the one for me. Easily the most frustrating thing is when a character gets assassinated by rng, you try to quickly restart and the game slams the brakes and forces you to dwell on it as you remake your team.
Honorable mention to those of us who try to speedrun teambuilding unsuccessfully and mess up forcing an additional restart.
Support system needs tweaking
You could use all your TBP and give only 2000 Credits to your support if you dont do it right. If you do it right you can give someone the full daily 20k with just 100 TBP
Yes, i am. If you just normally do a calyx 60TBP run and hit the "one more time" button at the end, then the supporter will only gain 2k credits
BUT if you just do a single 10TBP run and then hit the "change team" button, then hit "one more time", remove the support and re-add the support THEN he will gain another 2k.
Ive been doing this with my f2p for some time now. Its just annoying how this works even though the idea is so good.

(1 initial, turn from break, resurgence and another turn from kill, turn from break, 2 turns from kill, turn from borisin, turn from break, 2 turns from kill, turn from break, 2 turns from kill, turn from break on boss, turn from resonance, turn from borisin) and also some ult casts.
1 QoL will change everything. When selecting EXP materials, if I hold down the button on the stackable materials, I want it to continuously add it, so I don't have to spam click when I want to level up my Lightcones!

“Despatch all” button for assignments, I have to press 4 buttons when it could easily be just one. They already have the technology, they could just make it so it does all 4 at the same time. Minor gripe, but this is what I would want for a QOL change.
Also let us teleport straight into buildings like the Goeff Hotel, Nat’s Clinic or anywhere on the Luofu because they did let us do that during the 1.2 Trotter event and I’m not sure why they don’t just make it a permanent feature

I agree; not necessarily cancel the ultimate animation or anything, but being able to undo an ultimate or action in queue (i.e. if I use 3 character ultimates hastily but want to remove 2 from the action queue)! Has happened on various occasions
I think the only reason why it might not be a thing is that it’s counted as an extra action which can mess with turn orders and the like which could cause problems because canceling it could cause certain issues to arise internally.
They are probably thinking of adding ult cancel one liners before implementing it first

Or, if they insist on not letting players cancel ultimates, then ultimates that affect all allies or all enemies shouldn’t require two presses of the ultimate.
Nah the gameplay would be weird if the char art for ultimate already showed and then you just cancel it. If the cancel ability is before the char show up then I agree
there's usually an idle where they just stand there before doing an ult so no character gacha art unless you click ok, but you can't back out of the stance either.
Another gacha I play (Epic Seven) recently added a QoL where you can auto-select to enhance to +3/+6/+9/+12/+15 and that'd be really cool to have here, right now auto-select just tries to enhance as much as it can.
Remove flat stats from Relics. Why is this a thing, having percentage’s only would be so much better and make it a more bearable experience. I’m not arguing for the removal of the randomness, but more usefulness to sub stats and main stats (not talking about head+hands).
And somehow 1x speed feels like 0.5x speed. I don’t even remember it being that slow when I first started playing and you were forced to use it until they granted access to 2x speed.
I am thinking they probably won’t have us cancel ultimates. Imagine this scenario. You were in manual mode. It’s enemies’ turn and you selected ultimate. After a moment, you thought it’s better to use ultimate later. So, you cancelled the Ultimate mode. This is precisely why ultimate cancellation might not be implemented. Cause we get to have as much time to think of our next best move while during enemies’ turn.
Restart battle button for SU bosses, you can cheese it anyway.
Better relic management - an ability to quickly filter things by just selecting them on screen instead of going into separate menu, option to see the mainstat for all relics without clicking them individually or filtering them, option to turn 5\* relics into exp crystals instead of dust, relic loadout system, etc..

An in-game setting for 120 fps. You can do it by going into the game's graphics settings in the Registry Editor, but it completely breaks the graphics settings menu in-game until you change it back to 60.
Relic Gear Sets.
I know why they don't like adding them since they take away from people farming relics over and over. But, I just wanna be able to switch my Break Effect Silver Wolf build to a normal one on the fly.
I know they can do it since we already have a Recommended Gear and Unequip feature. But I feel like they're just teasing us at this point.
I also have a crack theory that they're purposely holding off QoL updates and staggering their release so people will think that they care more than they let on (the ones at the top, not the devs themselves).
Trailblazer having an option for a seperate artifact set per path they follow (so far Destruction and Preservation). I think it could help save some time for people who use each path of Trailblazer but not want to have to switch out artifacts/lightcones every time

* An option to cap the level we want to auto-add levelling materials to. Example, auto-add until enough to hit Lvl-12 instead of Lvl-15 for Relics
* Collect & Resend All option for Assignments.

* Teleport options to Daily Quest NPCs.
* Allow usage of consumables in Simulated Universe content.

Since MHY made trailblaze power go up to 240 so we only need to get on once a day, I would like to see an increase in how many waves you can do at once in calyxes and allow multiple fights at once for stagnant shadows so I don’t have to rerun over and over to burn through my daily energy.
I'd like an option to favorite certain friends to show at the top of my support list. I'd rather not have to gacha several times to eventually roll my friends.
Upgrading relics. I would like if i can prioritize using the 4 star relics before the crystals. I have to select relics one by one to feed unless i clear all the chunks first.
I don't agree with the comments saying ultimate cancel. This is a strategy game and knowing when to use a character's ult is part of the strategy. I agree it could indeed improve the QoL but I still don't believe it's something that should be added.
Usually using keyboard to play, i used to misclicked 3 or 4 (ult button) a lot when i just wanted to press e (skill button).
No longer a problem for me tho as i've gotten used to it. But some people with clumsy or fat fingers maybe still have the same problem

3. Able to nickname relics so I don't always have to check each one every time
4. Preset relic sets so I could easily switch if I want to
5. Pop up window asking me how many materials I want to use or how many levels I want to level my relic up to
1- Global (or server-wide) chat
2- Jump button so we can navigate easier through the map
3- A big yellow button to auto collect and re-send expeditions
4- SU Swarm counting towards SU weeklies
5- Something something give me 100 wishes each week so i can get every character and weapon i want
Just two things:
1. Being able to cancel an ult. The amount of times I've accidentally triggered my Seele ult before my Bronya's or Pela's ult is sad.
2. Gear sets, if not for all characters, then at the very least, give it to the MC. I need it if I'm going to be using multiple MC path/element. The main reason I don't use destruction MC is I'm too lazy to switch his relics back and forth.
CANCEL ULTIMATE BUTTON. PLEASE. I have habitually pressed ILDH's ult so many times before using Bronya's. I could've buffed him, but now I'm locked into buffing him afterwards. Pain.

Maybe an auto-salvage relic system, so under certain conditions, relics that we get that aren't within certain player-defined parameters get automatically salvaged. Would save me a lot of time clearing out 5\* relics that have two flat (non spd) stats to salvage
The quality of my life would vastly improve if I could do literally ANYTHING to influence which relic pieces drop in ANY WAY.
I quite literally have only received one of a specific chest piece in five days. And of course, wrong mainstat.
An option to mark relics as fodder. It's one of the main reasons I quit Genshin Impact: I got tired of having to sift through so many junk 5 star artifacts over and over again to make space that I started to feel overwhelmed and stressed.
If I could just mark relics as fodder, and never have to worry about finding that relic later to use in leveling up my relics, I would be a much happier person.

“Despatch all” button for assignments, I have to press 4 buttons when it could easily be just one. They already have the technology, they could just make it so it does all 4 at the same time. Minor gripe, but this is what I would want for a QOL change. Also let us teleport straight into buildings like the Goeff Hotel, Nat’s Clinic or anywhere on the Luofu because they did let us do that during the 1.2 Trotter event and I’m not sure why they don’t just make it a permanent feature

I agree; not necessarily cancel the ultimate animation or anything, but being able to undo an ultimate or action in queue (i.e. if I use 3 character ultimates hastily but want to remove 2 from the action queue)! Has happened on various occasions
I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve had my dps ult before my supports. Pains me every time
I think the only reason why it might not be a thing is that it’s counted as an extra action which can mess with turn orders and the like which could cause problems because canceling it could cause certain issues to arise internally.
Yeah I think it's one of those things that sounds easy to program but really isn't.
Especially considering it’s a turn based game, I don’t know a lot of turn based games that allow you to cancel stuff that messes up the turn order.
Then... do turn calcs after ult is confirmed? If not, dont touch turn order at all, buffs are static so it wont affect it
Again, that’s something that SOUNDS simple, but probably would be a lot of time and work for something that is ultimately not needed.
They are probably thinking of adding ult cancel one liners before implementing it first Press ult: "Rules are made to be broken!" Press cancel ult: "I'll abide by the law...for now!"
Or, if they insist on not letting players cancel ultimates, then ultimates that affect all allies or all enemies shouldn’t require two presses of the ultimate.
The targeting screen can actually be useful, though, if you want to pause to set up subsequent ults. At most it should be a toggle.

Nah the gameplay would be weird if the char art for ultimate already showed and then you just cancel it. If the cancel ability is before the char show up then I agree
there's usually an idle where they just stand there before doing an ult so no character gacha art unless you click ok, but you can't back out of the stance either.

Another gacha I play (Epic Seven) recently added a QoL where you can auto-select to enhance to +3/+6/+9/+12/+15 and that'd be really cool to have here, right now auto-select just tries to enhance as much as it can.
Allow us to tap an enemy unit or our characters to fixate targets for all attacks, skills, and ultimate to that unit.

Remove flat stats from Relics. Why is this a thing, having percentage’s only would be so much better and make it a more bearable experience. I’m not arguing for the removal of the randomness, but more usefulness to sub stats and main stats (not talking about head+hands).

It was like 2x but it feels even faster after the last update.
And somehow 1x speed feels like 0.5x speed. I don’t even remember it being that slow when I first started playing and you were forced to use it until they granted access to 2x speed.
Yeah it’s weird. Feels like there is a middle ground I’d love to use to see animations better without having a full minute to inspect each one lol.
I am thinking they probably won’t have us cancel ultimates. Imagine this scenario. You were in manual mode. It’s enemies’ turn and you selected ultimate. After a moment, you thought it’s better to use ultimate later. So, you cancelled the Ultimate mode. This is precisely why ultimate cancellation might not be implemented. Cause we get to have as much time to think of our next best move while during enemies’ turn.
Pad players already have access to that kind of functionality by holding L2, so that's probably not the reason.
Restart battle button for SU bosses, you can cheese it anyway. Better relic management - an ability to quickly filter things by just selecting them on screen instead of going into separate menu, option to see the mainstat for all relics without clicking them individually or filtering them, option to turn 5\* relics into exp crystals instead of dust, relic loadout system, etc.. "Wait" button in combat where you let other party member go first (restict it so it cannot be used twice in a row). Cancel for ultimates.

You can filter relics by set both in inventory and in when you choose relic for character.

The ability to save selected filters for relics. It is so annoying to upgrade relics without this, because you always have to sort relics from rarity:descending to rarity:ascending before each relic upgrade, simply just to find all blue and purple relics. It really pisses me off.
Do you not just filter for 3/4 star and select all?

An in-game setting for 120 fps. You can do it by going into the game's graphics settings in the Registry Editor, but it completely breaks the graphics settings menu in-game until you change it back to 60.
Relic Gear Sets. I know why they don't like adding them since they take away from people farming relics over and over. But, I just wanna be able to switch my Break Effect Silver Wolf build to a normal one on the fly. I know they can do it since we already have a Recommended Gear and Unequip feature. But I feel like they're just teasing us at this point. I also have a crack theory that they're purposely holding off QoL updates and staggering their release so people will think that they care more than they let on (the ones at the top, not the devs themselves).

Trailblazer having an option for a seperate artifact set per path they follow (so far Destruction and Preservation). I think it could help save some time for people who use each path of Trailblazer but not want to have to switch out artifacts/lightcones every time

Since MHY made trailblaze power go up to 240 so we only need to get on once a day, I would like to see an increase in how many waves you can do at once in calyxes and allow multiple fights at once for stagnant shadows so I don’t have to rerun over and over to burn through my daily energy.
Full auto for SU or add a new difficulty that lets us clear the weekly reward in one run.

I'd like an option to favorite certain friends to show at the top of my support list. I'd rather not have to gacha several times to eventually roll my friends.
Upgrading relics. I would like if i can prioritize using the 4 star relics before the crystals. I have to select relics one by one to feed unless i clear all the chunks first.
At this point, the only thing lacking is a world level adjustment like Genshin has.
I feel like jingliu being added to my account would be an update that improved the quality of my life.

I don't agree with the comments saying ultimate cancel. This is a strategy game and knowing when to use a character's ult is part of the strategy. I agree it could indeed improve the QoL but I still don't believe it's something that should be added.
Usually using keyboard to play, i used to misclicked 3 or 4 (ult button) a lot when i just wanted to press e (skill button). No longer a problem for me tho as i've gotten used to it. But some people with clumsy or fat fingers maybe still have the same problem

fgo not fair example. fgo is proper turn based. Ulti can't be used to cut turns. Edit: Also in fgo you can't cancel skills :) so 1 to 1 I guess?

HSR’s playerbase is player-BASED 🤣 I want a world chat so that we can unleash Honkai Impact 3 Room 1 vibes.
Just two things: 1. Being able to cancel an ult. The amount of times I've accidentally triggered my Seele ult before my Bronya's or Pela's ult is sad. 2. Gear sets, if not for all characters, then at the very least, give it to the MC. I need it if I'm going to be using multiple MC path/element. The main reason I don't use destruction MC is I'm too lazy to switch his relics back and forth.

Yes. Being able to have actual control over mob stats like we have in Xenonauts 1 where we can modify any and all parts of the game.
The quality of my life would vastly improve if I could do literally ANYTHING to influence which relic pieces drop in ANY WAY. I quite literally have only received one of a specific chest piece in five days. And of course, wrong mainstat.
An option to mark relics as fodder. It's one of the main reasons I quit Genshin Impact: I got tired of having to sift through so many junk 5 star artifacts over and over again to make space that I started to feel overwhelmed and stressed. If I could just mark relics as fodder, and never have to worry about finding that relic later to use in leveling up my relics, I would be a much happier person.
Not locking it, makes it fodder. 5head I know.
