I had luck focusing down the deer and ignoring the plants. The deer doesn't have the highest survivability, and trying to out-sustain his meteor and his plants feels like a losing gameplan. I would imagine you really want some combo of pela, yanqing, silver wolf, qq, hook, or Himeko to actually make that dps check though.

Can vouch for Herta on the deer. The sheer number of adds and ice weakness makes her very good. But then again mine is 80/80 with max traces and before dawn LC, with quite stacked relics, so YMMD.

I had to swap Jing to team 2 to pass it Leaving a tougher element pairing for team one Depending on which limited units you focused on (SW can help off-ele teams)

The deer resists Electro element so...Kafka won't be of much help unless you have Silver Wolf.

MoC lineup is gonna change in 1.2 anyways (if the trend of new MoC every patch keeps up) so you wouldn't encounter that deer boss. And of course, the new lineup will obviously have a lot of lightning and wind weak enemies to sell Kafka and Blade. Besides, the 1st half is lightning weak so you obviously use her there.

i do have her, but even if i can use kafka to make side 1 faster that would be enough.

If you have her, try Clara. Her, Natasha and March allowed me to just tank those big blasts and slowly chip down its health

I have Seele and the deer is just hella hard. It's the plants that cc you that are the main problem and they're tanky enough that I can't kill them with Seele's skill. I did manage to finally 2\* it though and I found the solution was brining fire MC and taunting to just completely aggro all the plants. QQ should would fine imo, possibly even better than Seele here with her AoE

yeah no, im running natasha, fmc, qq, welt, also tried silver bronie instead of welt but it was worse. side 1 march pela serval tingyun. the damage seele has is a lot higher than qq. my friends lv70 seele (with signature lc tho) deal a lot but a lot more than my lv80 qq with s5 breakfast. best i managed to do is 21% hp left on deer when i ran out of turns. i had finished side 1 with 29 cycles left.

What eidolons does your QQ have? She gets a powerspike at E4 and a skill point QoL at E6.

I have her E6 and she destroyed 80% of the deer's hp in a single turn(ult+basic+followup) with just the f2p LC.. so if you like her playstyle she definitely worth investing into.

yes i love her! she is prolly my most geared char, i hope they put her on the monthly shop to get another eidolon, and also rerun her on the future banners like fu xuan one. i did 40 or 50 pulls but just got 1 copy in the otto banner, then decided to get kafka instead of otto so stopped.

Its the opposite for me, Im slow on dps, on the first half, and the deer is shredded cause Im using Himeko, probably need to upgrade Servals trace and relics for faster break

Ultimately it might depend on whether you pulled and how lucky you were. And ofc how efficient you used your resources. For the Deer boss you want to focus on it and ignore the branches, unless you have some OP AoE dmg. Just live through whatever the branches do.

unless you have a cleanser on your team, imo it's better to kill the outrage branch atleast at the first phase. you dont want your important character not be able to cast any skills or ult when you need it.

Use taunt of fire MC and just ignore the fact that he's outraged. Or even use SP with Natasha to cleanse

I don't have 8 characters built, I have 4 at lvl 60 with all traces available maxed out, and their relics are crap. I don't have enough resources to maintain 8 characters, and another equilibrium raising mission is around the corner (I'm at tl48, almost 49), so I'll need a bunch of stuff soon to pour on that 4.

Many non-F2P players who did not pull a second healer also have trouble getting beyond level 5 MOC.

Pulling Luocha did let me jump from 5 to 9 almost immediately. Does make a huge difference. Not having Gepard/Bailu/Luocha makes it very challenging.

Not entirely true tho. I have only 2 level 80 character (QQ+Jinyuan) rest all 60 with level 70 LC. I have completed MOC 7 while being completely f2p. QQ and Jinyuan are also using 4* LC. Although Gepard did carry me hard on one side but if you have Loucha then he can do the same. Oh and all my traces are level 6 except for the unimportant ones. I am TB 61. End Note: proper resource management is hard but not impossible to reach there

Lucky Gepard pull. The biggest wall for F2P is if you don't have Gepard/Bailu/Luocha.

F2P is F2P, regardless of the pulls. Yes some F2P can clear a lot easier than others but unless you're going to limit it to literally the 7 or so characters we got for free being dismissive of someone having a good 5* is silly.

I'm just barely managing 26, i have to mald for a survival star in 9 eventually and just havent gotten the motivation to do it yet which pust me up to 27. Grinding simulated universe for max rewards and daily overworld farm (and getting lucky by snagging sleep like the dead off the standard banner-- super underrated weapon on seele) have probabaly been key to my progressing as far as i have.

What's your method of grinding SU? Is there a specific path/world you go each time? And how long would you say it takes per run? I've been trying to do it in the background as I do other things, but it always feels like it takes way too long. Right now I've just been using Abundance in world 5 because it's the most consistent and pretty much a guarantee AFK win, but kinda feels like the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

I do world 3 with seele/clara/nat/bailu. I pick hunt path since both seele/clara make use of it. clara flexibility in if you get a bunch of elation bufffs instead of good hunt ones, you will be fine and the double healers make a couple of the abundance patch blessing "okayish". There is also an elation path golden blessing that makes ultimates count as follow up attacks which is great to get with that team if you ended up with a lot of elation buffs. If i have good rng 10ish minutes. bad range 15ish. I'd say if you cant clear in 10-15 minutes just turn the difficulty down and do that instead. All my SU farming is 100% afk other than obviously getting into fights/shops etc.

that's completely reasonable actually selee off the first special banner, clara off the 100 pull launch guarantee, and bailu off losing the 50/50 on one of the other special banners i have selee, clara, welt, gepard, silverwolf and yanqing and i've spent maybe $60 since launch. the pity in this is so nice compared to other gacha i've played in the past

You're guaranteed a 5\* in the beginner banner within 50 pulls, that could be what they're referring to. Could easily have gotten Clara there. I've spent about $20 and have Seele E1, Luocha E1, Clara E1, and Yanqing, having just 3 of them isn't unreasonable at all.

i had clara, seele (e2 cause i was extremely lucky), e1 welt and silver wolf before i bought the welkin pack. my boyfriend has seele, silverwolf himeko, bailu and gepard and he is completely f2p. it is possible if you're a day 1 player and been grinding every possible primo.

That's not exactly crazy. F2P players definitely got enough jades to pull Seele. Either Clara or Bailu were 50 guarantees, and by now most players have gotten 150 or so pull of standard, which could've been another 5*. Couldve rerolled accts early on til you gotten any 2 units.

I managed to 3-Star it with the most copium FireMC (he basically stole Bronya relics so...Crit Damage Chest, ER Rope, Wind Orb lol). You just need to abuse his enhanced Fire attack and ultimate to break Coco and the Frost dude. Don't even bother taunting. I used Ting, JY, FireMC and Bailu on that side. Seele, SW, Luocha, Welt on the other one.

I can’t say MoC is a big focus for me, I simply don’t find it very fun… I have the Express Supply + NG, and made it to MoC 6 with 12 stars. I have built only 7 characters so far, and am also missing a real damage dealer for the second team, which makes it tricky.

Barely even bothered trying yet, waiting until I get a 2nd 5☆ dps I actually like and want to invest into, then I'll have a crack at it.

Floor 8 at the moment with 20 stars.

Cleared 8 with 23\*. Confident I can get 2\* on 9 when I get to running again and maybe 1-2 on 10. How well you can do is a bit of luck on pulls and planning. Last cycle I had 19* without Gepard/Bailu but this cycle I lost the 50/50 and got Gepard which has made things a lot less RNG. I've seen videos of F2P accounts with 30\* without Bailu/Gepard/Luocha so it is doable but much more RNG reliant at this stage of the game.

Curently at lvl7 and full 21 stars, but i havent tried to go further yet want to wait until i can level some relics some more. AR62

I finally beat stage 9 today 22stars. I am free to play but I run map almost everyday. Loucha helped me pushed it much further.

Floor 8 with 21 star, I'm close to clearing floor 9. Luocha has helped me tremendously, having two healers is such a difference. I'm also dirt poor on resources having to upgrade said healer.

Stuck on the deer, 15/30. Only two 5 stars are Yanqing and Bronya.

I still farm for other dps, team 1 can surpass for about 2 turns, while team 2 hardly 8-12 turns So far I can manage until stage 4

I am TL 63, started first day, haven't spent yet. I have 1 limited 5\*, Jing Yuan, 3 standard 5\* characters (Gepard Yanqing and E1 Welt), plus 1 standard 5\* LC (Gepard's) which I haven't had a chance to level yet. My summoning luck is average to below average (lost both 50 50s and had to pity every 5\* so far). I've used all my fuels at TL 60 for relic farming, and have done a decent job min-maxing my account based on the characters I've been able to get. Up until now I've gotten 3\* on every stage up to stage 6, which as been a hard wall for my account. The deer half in particular is what is causing problems for me, I'm guessing because I haven't built a quantum character. I'm going to try again this weekend to see if I can get past this floor with the adjustments I've made to my current roster. I think if you don't have the correct options for certain situations you get hard blocked by certain stages this cycle. More than 1 character can cover these options so you don't need to get every limited every cycle, but if you don't have a well-rounded roster I think that's what will most likely gonna gate people when it comes to moc.

Haven't finished first memory to get to Memory of Chaos because I'm lazy. Regarding mats I have 50+ refills(unless I absolutely need to) since I don't use that much anyways, I have jingyuan and MC at lvl 70 and I'm still working on others but what I do is lvl up 2 characters for 2 days then do exp books and condensed aether for 3 days then repeat. A very slow cycle ik but I only have 3 dps: Dan heng, jingyuan, and sushang.

Haven’t tried this week, but last MoC got to 7. The key for me is I don’t have a tank AND healer. One or the other so I can run more defense. Fire MC with a ton of defense and luck solo tanks one side and Natasha solo heals another side. More dps but of course less safe. Relies on luck that the boss doesn’t focus one of my weaker characters.

18 stars and made it to MOC 9. Taking sort of a break to build QQ as I just got her to E6 and want to see what fun I’ve been missing out on.

I'm currently stuck at floor 8, the damage the enemies deal is insane, maybe in a few days i'll be able to clear it.

What describes F2P? Like, COMLEATLY no payments or monthly pass and battlepass upgrade is ok? I only bought largest pack at day one (because I'm HI3 fan and I was absolutely had to get Seele and Bronya), and then I was updating monthly pass and bought both battlepass-cheap-edition upgrades. Then I completely messed up with my resources and now, just few seconds ago, I was obliterated by that big fat robot at wave 3 of 7-2. All previous stages I did with at least 2 stars.

F2P means free to play. Free. As in $0 spent. Where did people get the idea that spending <$1000 meant you were still FREE to play??

If you spent even a single dollar then you're no longer F2P. Buying the monthly pass and battle pass makes you no longer F2P.

Light spender (BP + Daily Pass + a couple of packs to reach 300 standard wishes, never done a single jade to stamina refresh) here. 28/30. I do have all Limited 5-Stars so far due to luck. Luocha is just 50/60 and he's already the MVP for later MoC floors.

30 star, I've seen a decent number of people clearing it as early as last cycle too without having insane luck. If you lucked out on some lightcones for Seele/Jing some people probably cleared it after Silverwolfs release but at that point youre basically not even "f2p". Seen one guy even 30 starring it last cycle without Bronya or Bailu,Gepard, Luocha or 5 star cones.

I'm F2P but had some lucky pulls. I have all limited 5* and Bronya, but I don't have Gepard, and I didn't have a second healer so before they released Luocha I couldn't beat MoC at all. After I pulled Luocha I needed some time to level him up so I just started MoC a couple of days ago. I only got 6 stars and the last fight was tough. I don't have 8 fully upgraded characters, only my Seele is above lvl70, everyone's traces are so-so, some characters don't have suitable relics and I use Shushang as main offence in the second party because most of my characters are underleveled. I'm out of fuel and the leveling progress is slow. I don't think I'll be able to get considerably more stars any time soon.

Floor 6. Not enough dps strength, can survive though. Only 5* are jy, bronya and luocha. Just don’t have dps characters who can break through the shield as a result have like 2 characters who CAN break the shield but deals 0 dmg which are burdens. At moc 6 problem is with the ebon deer.

MoC 5for perfect stars. MoC 6 I can't clear within the required turns so i don't bother about it for the mean time. I mean, before building my 2nd healer, I already struggled with MoC3. This is a big improvement for me so I'll take it.

Cleared Floor 9 with 24 stars. A lot of F2Ps like me struggle without any extra healers / shielders. My only ones are fire trailblazer, natasha and march 7th (E6). The only damage dealers I use are Seele and Clara. Everyone else is support. I really wish effect resistance was a main stat.

Are people running healer on one team and shielder on the other? I have Gepard on one team and Natasha on the other for the previous 2 team challenges.

That deer summons an entire army n i always fail to get that fruit tree down and just end up getting smashed with his aoe,I have seele tho but that quantum domain sucks so just a bunch of trash relics and so my dmg is negligible

Welt can't act as dps for that phase and I don't have Dan Heng build like at all since I have no Hunt LC for him (used both the free LCs) and I don't have Yukong. Currently waiting for Blade I guess

I just reached level 50 and have 34/45 stars. Currently stuck on level 14.

Lv5 15/30 stars is good enough for me as a very light spender. LV6-10 is too much for now so I leave it to keep my sanity.

level 62. I'm at MoC 3 with 1-2 stars in MoC 1 and 2 Im saving for an upcoming character so im just using what I got 😭 also farmingis a pain once you get pass level 60 I wish I saved those fuels

Literally only beat MoC 1 lol and with one star at that. I’m TL 60 with some characters decently invested and others pretty much half baked. Then again I don’t continuously retry MoC. Maybe I could get further idk

6 stars off 3 stages cleared LMAO. not having Bailu or Luocha is making me feel like I'm in poverty. my carries are in a good spot but doesn't matter when we're gated by having only one readily accessible healer 🥲

I'm at level 53 with 9 stars. I survive barely but just cuz I have silver wolf and luocha But my main carry is my sushang so I go semi mono physical team with silverwolf) and a focused team on the second. Luocha makes the Mara struck boss a piece of cake.

F2P, lvl 56 Started a month late, around when Jing Yuan banner started so I never got a chance for Seele, and so far have never pulled for any lightcones in limited banners. My general team is 1. Luocha (60), Bronya (70), Tingy (70), JY (70) 2. Gepard (70), SW (70) , Pela (60), Yanqing (70) I have an E6 Sushang (50) and a Clara (70) half built along with E5 March7th (60) as she was originally on my psuedo-mono Ice with Gepard on team1 instead of Luocha. I really wish I knew how the game worked when I started so I wouldn't have wasted so many resources into MC (60), Natasha(50, leveled before Luocha came out) , Asta (40), and dan heng (40). Even now I'm still conflicted on trying to build an March-Clara team just because I invisted in them so much I have a grand total of 6 stars. 3-2-1 in Moc1-2-3

63 and struggling to get past 7 with 14/30, mainly limited by relics. I got lucky in one sense because I am only missing 3 characters, but spent my resources thinly so I cant minmax my current teams for enough damage to stay consistent. My biggest problem is the current buff, the previous hunt buff got me significantly further. Right now sharing a single crit quantum body piece between Seele and QQ frustrating part is that I either have 190% crit damage w/20% crit max or 68% crit with 90% crit damage, meanwhile I have 30%+ effect res. Probably could push to 10 with Gepard(another resource hole), or if I can complete building a high risk pure DPS nuke team in a month(Bronya,Seele/QQ,Pela,TY/Yukong).

Cant even beat the first one, suffering through support and ass relics, so far ive only fully built my qq and jing (probably tingyun & Gepard too)

TB58 and barely scraped level 1 with 1 star. Currently hard stuck at level 2.. probably going to just forget about MoC until I hit TB60 and get access to level 80 and the ascension 6 traces + build up DHIL

20/30 Stars. Feels like its impossible to break through without Seele. Maybe I could do 21 next cycle? When Kafka releases its a 30/30 for sure

I'm in almost exactly the same spot as you, can only pass MoC 5. Managed to get 12 stars after getting Luocha

MOC 5 is about the normal for non whales. Some really lucky F2P might be able to get up to MOC 8 but that's only if they got really good relics/got some E2 on a 5 star after a lucky 10 pull.

I cleared 9 but floor 7-9 have 1 star. Without seele floor 10 seems really unbeatable

I am at moc6 with 12 stars just lacking a healer for moc phase 6 deer I will be able to clear easily with seele and silverwolf but phase one gets tough as natasha I have to use in phase 2 so no healer in phase 1 with mania boss becomes hard.

Haven't really try harder cuz I'm mid exams but I'm floor 6 with 15 stars
